This study aimed to determine the relationship between consumer regulatory focus and impulse buying of apparel products and the mediating effect of consumer fashion innovativeness. A large portion of consumer buying behavior is based on impulse. However, impulse buying is difficult to predict; moreover, factors that explain consumers' impulse buying tendencies are not yet fully identified. In this study, consumer regulatory focus was considered as a factor that explains consumers' impulse buying tendencies. The purpose of this study was to examine how fashion innovativeness and impulse buying tendencies differ, based on the consumer regulatory focus. A structural equation modeling was conducted to validate the research model. A questionnaire agency conducted online survey for 1 week and of the 400 copies distributed, total of 400 were collected. Promotion-focus and fashion innovativeness were positively correlated, which in turn had an effect on rational, emotional, and situational impulse buying. The promotion-focus had a negative effect on fashion innovation, but a positive effect on emotional impulse buying. On the other hand, prevention-focus had negative effect on emotional impulse buying, and situational impulse buying. Consumer regulatory focus and fashion innovativeness were useful predictors different consumer tendencies of impulse buying of apparel.
People are exposed to diverse images and naturally find images to express themselves to others for personalsatisfaction. They present ideal images that they desire to obtain or actual images that they already have. People find differences between ideal images and actual images as well astry to overcome differences by managing appearance or purchasing fashion items. The congruence between real and ideal self-images and perceived body images stimulate clothing involvement or consumer confidence to influence fashion innovativeness and fashion opinion leadership. Fashion leaders are known for confidence when making buying decisions on new fashion products and are more likely to influence other consumers to buy new items. This study useda structural equation model to understand the influence of perceived self and body image on clothing involvement and consumer confidence as well as define how perceived images influence fashion leadership through clothing involvement and consumer confidence. The results of this study indicated that self-image congruence has a positive impact on social body image and personal body image. A positive influence of perceived body image on clothing involvement and consumer confidence was also detected. Fashion opinion leadership could be explained by clothing involvement and consumer confidence; however, fashion innovativeness could only be explained by consumer confidence.

Therefore the ultimate goal is to offer help in fixing price when establishing marketing of the clothing industry by grasping the actual price set by consumers under the IMP system. The female consumers of 20s and 30s were chosen as study subjects for their sensitivity to the purchase of clothing. The tests carried out in this research are: SPSSIPC+ is used for frequency Analysis. The Results of this study are showed as the following: It was analyzed that 4 types of consumer are the reasonable consumption oriented consumer, fashion oriented consumer, the no care of fashion consumer and high price oriented consumer Among the several kinds such as the type of clothing, brand, time of fashion, place of origin, material, submaterial, place for sale, only on the type of clothing, there are difference in the type of the consumers, on the time of buying clothes, in the behavior of buying clothes and also on the degree of fashion and the place of origin among such kinds.
Compared to off-line, on-line word-of-mouth has fast dissemination speed and extensive effects based on interactive features. Moreover, in the age of Web 2.0, on-line media has made consumers evolve from simple purchasers to producers, who intervene into product manufacturing through on-line WOM. According to this, this study is conducted to clarify how consumer's prosumer propensity affects WOM in detail when purchasing fashion products on-line through website interactivity and perceived usefulness of WOM. The results are as follows. 1. Consumer's prosumer propensity is classified in four dimensions: the propensity to participate, the propensity to relate, the propensity to amuse and the propensity to create. 2. The sample has shown low prosumer propensity overall, and there were no gender differences. 3. Testing structural equation model, it was clarified that the higher the consumer's prosumer propensity, the higher the consumer's evaluation of website interactivity and thus the greater the WOM effect through its perception of usefulness. 4. There were some differences in the path of structural equation model according to consumer's prosumer propensity. From the results, it can be concluded that consumer's prosumer propensity is a key factor in the on-line WOM. Therefore fashion businesses should actively utilize consumer's prosumer propensity to apply their opinion in the product planning stage or use it as the means of company-friendly viral marketing.
This study examined consumer perceptions and consumer responses of Halal cosmetics and compared them with vegan cosmetics, which is a term similarly used. Twitter API of Python 3.7 was used to collect the keywords '#halalcosmetics' and '#vegancosmetics'. First, the main perception of consumers on Halal cosmetics focused on the original concept, image, expected efficacy, and factors to consider before purchase, religious keywords, labels and packaging for Halal cosmetics. Second, the main consumer perception of vegan cosmetics was the product concept, expected efficacy, factors to consider before purchase, related vegan industry, image, and vegan cosmetic components. Third, the consumer perceptions of Halal cosmetics and vegan cosmetics were similar in multiple ways, and both concepts included the Cruelty-free concept. Fourth, consumer satisfaction factors included cosmetics color, brand's consumer service, efficacy, smell, packaging design, reasonable price, effects, and formulation of cosmetics as well as satisfaction with Halal certification, and satisfaction of Vegan consumers. Consumer dissatisfaction factors included smell, flavor, delay in shipping, dissatisfaction with formulation, discrepancy between actual color and computer screen, concern and distrust about the use of prohibited ingredients for Halal products. This study examined consumer perceptions and reactions to Halal and vegan cosmetics to create basic knowledge for niche markets that are emerging as an ethical beauty consumption trend.
This study investigates the effect of consumer involvement in the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty (which is measured as consumers' repurchase and WOM intentions). Previous research has presented inconsistent implications on the role of consumer involvement in the relationship. Some researchers have presented the empirical results showing that consumer involvement moderates the relationship, whereas others have done the empirical results implying that the consumer involvement does not moderates. In sum, the previous empirical studies have provided the inconsistent empirical results that consumer involvement may be a moderator or a non-moderator in the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty. Thus, we start this research with two research questions: "Does consumer involvement has a moderation effect on the relationship between-customer satisfaction and loyalty across various service industries?" and "Can the moderation effect of consumer involvement be detected differently depending on the statistical methods used to probe the moderation effect?" A questionnaire survey was conducted in the context of four service categories: eight service firms for fast food, four firms for family restaurant, four firms for movie theater and four firms for Bakery. Hierarchical regression analyses (moderated regression analyses) and chi-square difference tests were used to identify the role of consumer involvement in the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty. The empirical results show that there does not exist the difference in the moderation effects of consumer involvement identified by the two statistical methods (i.e., hierarchical regression analyses vs. chi-square difference tests), however, that there exists the difference in the identified moderation effects of consumer across service categories. In the final section, we summarize the implications and re-interpret the empirical results provided in the previous studies.
