ICT기반 독거노인복지서비스의 현황 및 과제 (Status and Tasks of ICT-based Welfare Services for the Elderly Living Alone)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 독거노인의 욕구를 지원하기 위한 ICT기반 독거노인복지서비스의 역할을 정립하는 것이다. 독거노인은 고령화가 가속됨에 따라 2010년 102만 가구로 증가 추세이며 정신적, 사회적, 경제적인 어려움 등으로 인해 사회문제로 대두되었다. 본 연구는 기존 시행된 6개 부처의 85개 노인복지서비스와 향후 제공가능 한 114개 ICT기반 복지서비스를 조사하였다. 이들 서비스를 Maslow의 욕구분류체계에 따라 유형화하고 오프라인, 온라인, 온오프라인병행 서비스로 구분하였다. 연구의 결과는 안전욕구(의료 건강), 자아실현욕구(여가 문화) 서비스에 집중되어 있고 자존욕구 서비스는 저조한 것으로 나타났다. ICT기반 노인복지서비스를 통해 환경개선, 일자리 확대, 독립적인 일상생활지원 서비스는 개선이 가능하고 심리/정서지원 서비스 등은 추가 발굴이 필요하다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구결과로 현재 제공되는 서비스의 편중은 완화하고 부재는 보완하는 등 ICT기반 수요자 중심 노인복지서비스를 통해 독거노인의 삶의 질을 향상시킬 수 있을 것이다.

Current situation and future trends for beef production in the United States of America - A review

  • USA beef production is characterized by a diversity of climates, environmental conditions, animal phenotypes, management systems, and a multiplicity of nutritional inputs. The USA beef herd consists of more than 80 breeds of cattle and crosses thereof, and the industry is divided into distinct, but ofttimes overlapping sectors, including seedstock production, cow-calf production, stocker/backgrounding, and feedlot. Exception for male dairy calves, production is predominantly pastoral-based, with young stock spending relatively brief portions of their life in feedlots. The beef industry is very technology driven, utilizing reproductive management strategies, genetic improvement technologies, exogenous growth promoting compounds, vaccines, antibiotics, and feed processing strategies, focusing on improvements in efficiency and cost of production. Young steers and heifers are grain-based diets fed for an average of 5 months, mostly in feedlots of 1,000 head capacity or more, and typically are slaughtered at 15 to 28 months of age to produce tender, well-marbled beef. Per capita beef consumption is nearly 26 kg annually, over half of which is consumed in the form of ground products. Beef exports, which are increasingly important, consist primarily of high value cuts and variety meats, depending on destination. In recent years, adverse climatic conditions (i.e., draught), a shrinking agricultural workforce, emergence of food-borne pathogens, concerns over development of antimicrobial resistance, animal welfare/well-being, environmental impact, consumer perceptions of healthfulness of beef, consumer perceptions of food animal production practices, and alternative uses of traditional feed grains have become increasingly important with respect to their impact on both beef production and demand for beef products. Similarly, changing consumer demographics and globalization of beef markets have dictated changes in the types of products demanded by consumers of USA beef, both domestically and abroad. The industry is highly adaptive, however, and responds quickly to evolving economic signals.

  • In the trend of concentrating on the consumer driven experience market as a new marketing concept according to the improvement of life standard and the change of consummation pattern, SPA brand has applied experience marketing strategies to the market successfully to be grown constantly with consumer secure and production of business benefit through brand image and positive consumer attraction. Therefore, this study aims to research the experiential representation element and attribute in the competitive Global SPA brand space due to the sustainable growth from the recent domestic fashion market based on the strategy type of the experiential marketing. Thus, the experiential marketing strategy type was drawn based on the experiential marketing and the theoretical reflections of Global SPA brand, and the SPA brand space was classified depending on the attribute of the commercial space for making the framework of case analysis, so it was progressed as the method of analysis through the experiential representation attribute in the SPA brand space. The marketing strategy and representation for advertising the image of company and product message by the SPA brand should be planned, so successful application of the experiential marketing to the shop is connected to the corporate interests, and forming the meaning more than space by impressing on the consumers the brand and arousing the emotional experience of the consumers and meeting the consumers' a variety of needs had effects on forming a lasting relationship between the brand and consumers. Therefore, this study is expected to be an opportunity to vitalize the domestic SPA brand behind the competition with the Global SPA brand.

An Overview of Meat Industry in Sri Lanka: A Comprehensive Review

  • Livestock is considered as one of the most important segments in agriculture since animal husbandry was practiced for centuries as a backyard system by rural families. Livestock plays as a powerful tool in rural development where meat industry contributes a dominant part. Meat and meat products become a vital component in the diet, which had been one of the main protein sources traditionally as well. The development in the livestock and meat industry of Sri Lanka basically depends upon religious, cultural, and economic factors. There is a growing demand for processed meat products in Sri Lankan urban culture and several large scale processors entered the business during the past few decades. The consumption of meat and meat products shows an upward trend in Sri Lanka during the last decade and is anticipated to increase further in future. The growth potential of the local meat industry is considerably high owing to the improvement of the market and consumer perception. The present status, trends, and future prospects for the Sri Lankan meat industry with respect to production, consumption, processing, marketing, and improvement are discussed in this review.

재래시장 육성을 위한 특별법에서의 재래시장 활성화 실천방안 연구 (A Study for Revitalizing Program of Traditional Markets)

  • Most merchant of traditional markets think that the condition of market management is getting worse because of decreasing customers caused appearance of large retail stores such as discount store and changing of consumer's life style. Therefore special law was legislated for the activation of traditional markets in 2005. This special law include important articles about surroundings improvement, business management modernization and redevelopment of traditional markets. According to the small and medium business administration data, korea government furnished 177billion and 11billion(won) separately for the facilities and management modernization of traditional markets. Traditional markets of whole country planned and practiced modernization of facilities and management of traditional markets. And most of traditional markets interested in a large project such as establishment of arcade and car parking, remodelling of building, pavement of passageway etc. By the way, under the long term viewpoint, a large project presented above are not the best solution for the traditional markets because of its effectiveness. Maybe, for example, improvement of store signboard and display stand is more effective for the long time. As the problem of management modernization, yet a credit transactions. is the most important factor, only four markets have a plan for the credit transactions. And above all, we must realize that activation of traditional markets can be accomplished by merchant's own initiative participation.

  • Consumer's product selection measures are being shifted from the units' operational performance to overall performance. Low noise, low vibration, and low power consumption rate, etc. which used to be additional quality indices, now become vital performance factors. Especially, noise and vibration characteristics are being considered as equivalent to/or even more critical than operational performance in certain products such as office machines and home entertainment systems, which share the same space with human being's daily life. Therefore, noise reduction and sound quality improvement technology becomes an inevitable design issue for those applications. Qualitative noise characteristics of rotating polygonal disk applied to digital printer systems are presented. Overall sound pressure level change and tonal noise variation with respect to the geometrical properties of polygonal disk, operational speed, and others are briefly discussed based on experimental results.

기술적 진화재의 대체모형 (A Substitution Model of the Evolutionary Generations of Technological Products)

  • In this study, a substitution model of the evolutionary generations of technological products is presented. The purpose of the model is to examine the demand side mechanisms which generate successive product life cycles along the path of technological improvements. In the model, the nature of substitution processes is summarized dto the demand function which is derived from the consumer's udtility maximization problem. To describe the nature of technological substitution processes, the concept of the vertical differentiation and the consumption externalities are considered in the utility function. The former is used to characterize the result of technological improvement and the latter is used in explaining the inertia of demand. To show the validity of the model, an empirical study is carried out using the data of the world DRAM market.

한국, 중국, 미국의 모바일 정보역량과 삶의 질에 관한 비교연구 (A Cross-Cultural Study on the Mobile Competency and Quality of Life among Korea, China, and USA)

  • 스마트폰의 보급으로 인류는 다양한 모바일 정보를 언제 어디서나 접근하고 활용할 수 있게 되었다. 모바일 정보에 접근하고 다루는 모바일 정보역량은 개인의 삶의 질에 영향을 미치고 있다. 본 연구에서는 한국, 중국, 미국 3국의 소비자 1,290명을 대상으로 모바일 정보역량과 삶의 질에 대해서 분석하였다. 그 결과, 모바일 정보역량 중에서 정보접근역량은 한국이 가장 높았으나, 정보활용역량에서는 미국이 가장 높고, 한국이 가장 낮게 나왔다. 모바일로 인한 삶의 질 향상에서도 한국은 미국, 중국에 이어 가장 낮게 평가하였다. 이러한 결과는 한국이 접근성이 좋아 모바일 인터넷 사용시간은 많지만, 삶의 질을 높일 수 있도록 제대로 활용을 하고 있지 못하다는 것을 보여준다. 또한 모바일 정보활용도에 영향을 미치는 개인변수들을 중 소비자 혁신성이 가장 큰 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구의 결과, 한국에서는 모바일정보 활용능력을 함양시키고 혁신성을 높이는 정책이 필요할 것으로 보인다.

성남지역 거주자들의 여가문화시설 이용실태 및 요구에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Use and Demands for Leisure Facilities)

  • The purpose of this study is to make use of the data as a basic material for the plans for the leisure facilities in Songnam, investigating the actual use and demands of local residents about leisure facilities in Sujung-& Jungwon-gu and Pundang-gu for the improvement of life quality through the art and cultural life of the residents in Songnam area. The questionnaires of this study were distributed over Pundang-gu and Sujung-& Jungwon-gu 710 copies in total. There were some meaningful differences in household about the actual use of leisure facilities (4 types): in Pundang-gu, occupation and age of husband, occupation of housewife, existence of children, monthly income, house size, number of rooms and possession of cars; in Sujung-& Jungwon-gu, educational background and occupation of husband, occupation of housewife about the social and recreation facilities only. Another meaningful differences in household about the demands for leisure facilities are: in Pundang-gu,/educational background and age of husband, age of housewife and the youngest child, and possession of cars; in Sujung-& Jungwon-gu,/age, occupation and location of workplace of husband and housewife, and age of children.
