신기술 제품의 ASL 추정-솔라셀 사례 중심으로 (A Study on the Estimation of Average Service Life for New Technology Products-in Case of Solor-cell)

  • Until now, because a new product (or facility) launched in market has been retired from one year of age, we can have had ASL by stub-curve method by Iowa curve. Recently, many innovative products with important role in market like display and solar-cell etc. are more durable and, what are better, they have the constant variance in ASL because of their good quality. Of course, there are some ones like smart mobile phone with relatively big dispersion in ASL. Estimating ASL of products like display and solar-cell etc., the new approach is needed. In this paper a new method applied traditional Iowa curve with accelerated reliability test (indoor/outdoor) etc. is proposed.

상황변수의 조절효과 차이에 관한 연구 (SPSS와 AMOS프로그램을 중심으로) (The Study on the Different Moderation Effect of Contingency Variable (Focused on SPSS statistics and AOMS program))

  • 본 연구는 인과관계 분석에서 주로 활용되는 SPSS statistics(회귀분석)과 구조방정식모델을 구현하는 프로그램 중 하나인 AMOS 프로그램을 각각 활용하여 동일한 데이터에 대하여 조절효과 검정을 위한 실증분석을 실시하였다. 실증분석 결과, SPSS statistics을 활용한 회귀분석에서 상황변수가 범주형데이터인 성별과 연속형데이터인 컨설팅만족도 모두에서 조절효과가 없는 것으로 나타난 반면, AMOS 프로그램을 활용한 구조방정식모델에서는 10% 유의수준에서 컨설턴트의 능력 및 태도가 컨설팅재구매에 미치는 영향관계를 컨설팅만족도가 부분적으로 조절하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 결국, 조절효과 분석은 AMOS 프로그램을 활용한 구조방정식모델과 SPSS statistics을 활용한 회귀분석모델이 전혀 다른 접근방법을 사용하고 있어 얼마든지 상이한 결과가 나올 수 있음을 보여준다.

농어촌개발 컨설팅에서 주민참여의도가 사업성과에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Resident Participation Intention on Project Performance in Rural Development Consulting)

  • 본 연구는 농어촌지역개발 지역역량강화사업에서 주민 참여의도가 사업성과에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 하였다. 연구 방법은 전남지역내 농어촌지역개발사업을 추진하거나 완료한 마을의 주민들을 대상으로 직접 방문식 설문을 통해 238개의 표본을 수집하였고, SPSS22.0와 PROCESS macro 3.5 Model 4를 통해 가설을 검증하였다. 연구 결과는 첫째, 사업 참여의도 인식수준에 따라 사업성과에 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 사업 참여의도는 사업성과에 정(+)의 영향을 나타냈다. 셋째, 지역역량강화사업은 사업 참여의도와 사업성과간에 매개효과가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 연구의 한계는 연구표본이 전남지역에 한정됐다는 점, 사업성과에 정량적 측정이 병행되지 않은 점 등이 있으며, 이를 토대로 향후 주민참여의도가 실제 주민참여로 이어졌는지와 그에 따른 성과검증을 통한 구체적 연구가 마련되어야 할 것이다.

Application of Buckling Restrained Braces in a 50-Storey Building

  • The use of Buckling Restrained Braces (BRB) for enhancing the performance of the buildings is gaining wider acceptance. This paper presents the first application of these devices in a major high-rise building in the Philippines. A 50-storey residential reinforced concrete building tower, with ductile core wall, with BRB system is investigated. The detailed modeling and design procedure of buckling restrained brace system is presented for the optimal design against the two distinct levels of earthquake ground motions; serviceable behavior for frequent earthquakes and very low probability of collapse under extremely rare earthquakes. The stiffness and strength of the buckling restrained brace system are adjusted to optimize the performance of the structural system under different levels of earthquakes. Response spectrum analysis is conducted for Design Basis Earthquake level and Service level, while nonlinear time history analysis is performed for the most credible earthquake. The case study results show the effectiveness of buckling restrained braces.

  • The purpose of this paper is to present the state of practice being used in the Philippines for the performance-based seismic design of reinforced concrete tall buildings. Initially, the overall methodology follows "An Alternative Procedure for Seismic Analysis and Design of Tall Buildings Located in the Los Angeles Region, 2008", which was developed by Los Angeles Tall Buildings Structural Design Council. After 2010, the design procedure follows "Tall Buildings Initiative, Guidelines for Performance-Based Seismic Design of Tall Buildings, 2010" developed by Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center (PEER). After the completion of preliminary design in accordance with code-based design procedures, the performance of the building is checked for serviceable behaviour for frequent earthquakes (50% probability of exceedance in 30 years, i.e,, with 43-year return period) and very low probability of collapse under extremely rare earthquakes (2% of probability of exceedance in 50 years, i.e., 2475-year return period). In the analysis, finite element models with various complexity and refinements are used in different types of analyses using, linear-static, multi-mode pushover, and nonlinear-dynamic analyses, as appropriate. Site-specific seismic input ground motions are used to check the level of performance under the potential hazard, which is likely to be experienced. Sample project conducted using performance-based seismic design procedures is also briefly presented.

기업 고객상담실의 직무내용과 필요능력에 관한 연구 - 고객상담실 직원을 대상으로 - (A Study on the Job Description and Necessary Abilities for Consumer Affairs Department in Business)

  • The purpose of this study was to find out job description and necessary abilities for Consumer Affairs Department Service in business. This study was done using survey by mail to the representatives in Consumer Affairs Department in business. 354 representatives were used for the sample. The business was selected 32 among 107 in OCAP(Organization of Consumer Affairs Professionals in Business), from September 25 to October 5, 2000. The results were analyzed from 96 representatives, 23 business. The results of this study are as follows: 1. The degree of importance and participation on the job description in Customer Service Department was analyzed. The most important job was related to consulting. Consumer management and information collect & provision were next important job in consumer affairs. 2. When the degree of participation on the job description compared to the degree of importance, we found that the general level of participation on the job was a little lower than the degree of importance on the job. Especially, the biggest difference was found in the formation of focusing customer. The smallest difference was found in the field of consulting. 3. The most necessary ability for the representative of consumer affairs department in business was responsibility and sincerity, communication skill. The big difference of present ability and necessary ability of representative was persuasive power and communication skirt.

머신러닝 기반 건강컨설팅 성공여부 예측모형 개발 (Developing a Model for Predicting Success of Machine Learning based Health Consulting)

  • This study developed a prediction model using machine learning technology and predicted the success of health consulting by using life log data generated through u-Health service. The model index of the Random Forest model was the highest using. As a result of analyzing the Random Forest model, blood pressure was the most influential factor in the success or failure of metabolic syndrome in the subjects of u-Health service, followed by triglycerides, body weight, blood sugar, high cholesterol, and medication appear. muscular, basal metabolic rate and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol were increased; waist circumference, Blood sugar and triglyceride were decreased. Further, biometrics and health behavior improved. After nine months of u-health services, the number of subjects with four or more factors for metabolic syndrome decreased by 28.6%; 3.7% of regular drinkers stopped drinking; 23.2% of subjects who rarely exercised began to exercise twice a week or more; and 20.0% of smokers stopped smoking. If the predictive model developed in this study is linked with CBR, it can be used as case study data of CBR with high probability of success in the prediction model to improve the compliance of the subject and to improve the qualitative effect of counseling for the improvement of the metabolic syndrome.

Web Enabled Expert Systems using Hyperlink-based Inference

  • With the proliferation of WWW, providing more intelligence to Web sites has become a major concern in e-business industry. In recent days, this trend is more accelerated by prosperity of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) in terms of various aspects such as product recommendation, self after service, etc. To accomplish this goal, many e-companies are eager to embed web enabled rule-based system, that is, expert systems into their Web sites and several well-known commercial tools are already available in the market. Most of those tools are developed based on CGI so far but CGI based systems inherently suffer over-burden problem when there are too many service demands at the same time due to the nature of CGI. To overcome this limitation of the existing CGI based expert systems, we propose a new form of Web-enabled expert system using hyperlink-based inference mechanism. In terms of burden to Web server, our approach is proven to outperform CGI based approach theoretically and also empirically. For practical purpose, our this approach is implemented in a software system, WeBIS and a graphic rule editing methodology, Expert Diagram is incorporated into the system to facilitates rule generation and maintenance. WeBIS is now successfully operated for financial consulting in the web site of a leading financial consulting company in Korea.

  • Online consumer activities have increased considerably since the COVID-19 outbreak. For the products and services which have an impact on everyday life, online reviews and recommendations can play a significant role in consumer decision-making processes. Thus, to better serve their customers, online firms are required to build online-centric marketing strategies. Especially, it is essential to define core value of customers based on the online customer reviews and to propose these values to their customers. This study discovers specific perceived values of customers in regard to a certain product and service, using online customer reviews and proposes a customer value proposition methodology which enables online firms to develop more effective marketing strategies. In order to discover customers value, the methodology employs a text-mining technology, which combines a sentiment analysis and topic modeling. By the methodology, customer emotions and value factors can be more clearly defined. It is expected that online firms can better identify value elements of their respective customers, provide appropriate value propositions, and thus gain sustainable competitive advantage.

  • 데이터를 운영하는 운영시스템은 비지니스의 변경, 고객 요구와 IT 기술의 발달로 정보시스템 재구축 프로젝트는 주기적으로 발생하고 있다. 이 과정에서 기업의 자산인 데이터의 정합성과 무결성을 보장하는 데이터 전환은 중요하다. 데이터 전환의 목표는 현재의 데이터베이스 시스템 운영 환경을 이해하고, 사용 중인 DBMS의 특성을 파악하여, 최적의 데이터베이스 구조를 유지하며, 신 시스템이 최상의 성능을 발휘하도록 해야 한다. 기존 정보시스템에 존재하는 축적된 과거자료를 추출하여 새로운 정보시스템의 개선된 테이블로 옮기는 과정을 말한다. 데이터 전환은 사전에 설계/계획된 규칙에 따라 최종 목적 테이블로 전환하는 전체 과정이다. 따라서, 기존 정보시스템에서 사용하고 있는 데이터를 차세대 시스템 구축 사업에서도 사용할 수 있도록 데이터의 이행은 무엇보다도 중요하다. 본 논문에서는 차세대 시스템 통합 프로젝트 중 중요한 부분인 데이터 전환을 위한 자동화 도구를 설계하였다. 본 연구에서 기존 데이터 전환 방식의 문제점을 분석하여 데이터 전환을 위한 개선방안을 제시하고, 레파지토리와 프로세스 기반의 효율적인 데이터 전환 자동화 도구를 제안하고 실제 차세대 프로젝트의 적용사례를 통해 그 효율성을 검증하였다.
