Cloud computing allows users to access software or specific programs that support the cloud platform through an information communicating device that can connect to the internet anywhere or anytime. Also, the cloud architecture not only reduces the expenses of IT infrastructure construction and maintenance, but also speeds up processing and mobility, which leads to a significant ease of use. In spite of the advantages of cloud computing, previous studies have been centered on case studies of the execution, advantages, and problems of cloud computing. In contrast, empirical research on individual cloud computing up till now is very insufficient. Thus, the research aims to create a model of an individual user's perspective and verify validation. This study reveals types of influence that characteristics can have on an individual user's intention to use, by searching the characteristics that the individual user recognizes on cloud computing services. The results are as follows:first, the characteristics of cloud computing indicates a significant influence on usage intention. Second, all characteristics in cloud computing, accessibility, reliability, perceived ease of use, and fusibility, are confirmed in providing significant influences in shaping social influence forms. Third, social influence has a significant influence on usage intention.

A component base technology can maintain effectively and save time and expenses of development. In this thesis we found many components including the setup/execution component to construct game sites and analyzed and designed the components by the use of UML. If programmers develop the game site by using the component that distributes, setups and executes the game program by one click and other components, they can manage the game site easily, distribute the game program effectively and offer a convenient user interface. Also, by the reuse of these components, programmers can construct the game site easily and economically.

The global warming of the Korean Peninsula proceeds most rapidly in the world and its abnormal climate is more deepening. In the result of the surged electricity consumption by intense heat of summer and severe cold of winter, electricity supply and demand status is in hard situation. Currently, the supply of natural gas is increased because natural gas has the lowest greenhouse-gas emissions among the existed fossil fuel. Natural gas cooling has a lot of advantage such as decreasing electricity peak, reducing construction expenses in additional power plant, operating natural gas storage facilities efficiently, and playing a role as distributed generations. Therefore, this study analyzes the economic feasibilities of gas cooling as an alternative for electric power load management.

The wireless sensor network (WSN) based ECG and body temperature measuring system for ubiquitous health-care were designed and developed. The system was composed of a wireless sensor network node, base station and server computer for the continuous monitoring of ECG signals and body temperatures of patients at home or hospital. ECG signal and body temperature data, important vital signals which are commonly used in clinical and trauma care, were displayed on a graphical user interface (GUI). The data transfer from sensor nodes on patients' body to server computer was accomplished through a base-station connected to a server computer using Zigbee compatible IEEE802.15.4 standard wireless communication. Real-time as well as historical, ECG data of elderly persons or patients, can also be retrieved and played back to assist the diagnosis. The ubiquitous health care system presented in this study can effectively reduce social medical expenses, which will be increased greatly in the coming aging society.

This paper presents improvement of the production process of a unified fuel heater with the help of the performance evaluation system. In order to enhance a starting capability of diesel-engine car, the unified fuel heater is proposed, which consists of main body, upper plate, stopper, lower plate, PTC, screw, bimetal and terminals. In the proposed heater, the sensor is combined with heater body not only to maximize the performance of car but also to reduce the production cost. The performance test chamber is proposed to evaluate the performance of heater. Especially, an effective manufacturing progress for assembling the heater elements can cut down expenses.

This paper studied production characteristics of organic farming products and analyzed management income and production cost of organic farming(rice). In order to analyze these points actually, this study was focused on pruduction activities of a producers' organization, Pulmoo Cooperatives in Hong-Dong Myun, Hong-Seong Region, Chung Nam Province. So the following results were obtained : In 1994, output level and an income rate of rice per unit area(10a) which was produced in organic farming method(O.F.M) was higher than those of general farming method(G.F.M) as about 5%, 7.4%. And management income size of the former was 1.8 times as large as that of the latter. But rice production cost of O.F.M was 1.93 times as much as that of G.F.M, particularily in labor cost and farming equipment cost, light and heat expenses, many other material costs. For the progress of organic farming O.F.M and equipmets should be developed much more, for example, the technics of prevetion against damages by blight and harmful insects and improvement of varieties, natural pesticides, agricultual application of microorganisim, construction of compost heat factory, etc. Since these technics and establishments have taken on the public goods, the development of those should be supported by government.

The seismic qualification of the structures has been great concern in our engineering society with an effort to reduce the severe damages from an earthquake. However, on the contrary to the importance of the seismic qualification, the whole procedures are used to rely on the advanced countries who require various expenses for the qualification, which leads to the heavy loss of the foreign currency. In this study, the nuclear air conditioning system produced by LG Cable are adopted for the seismic qualification based on the guideline of NUREG, IEEE and ASME code. In order to confirm the validity of the present study, the results from the Ellis & Watts are compared with the present results and, also, the seismic qualification procedures and results mentioned herein are approved by KOPEC, which is a naitonal surveillance institute for the construction of nuclear power plant. From these results, the author confirmed the validity of the present seismic qualification procedures and results, which might be usefully applied to the other kind of seismic qualification of equipments.

The purpose of this study is to provide a conceptual understanding of ASP service for ERP implementation in small-to-medium enterprises under the current market situation in which the significance of information systems was standing out to respond to the rapid changes of managerial environment caused by the spread of Internet. In addition, it was to extract practical causes of introduction of ERP through ASP services by analyzing the causes and benefits considered by small-to-medium enterprises which use it. This study confirms that using ASP is better, faster and cheaper. Therefore, it is inevitable. The enterprises can reduce many risks of in-House ERP system such as excessive initial investment and operational expenses, lengthened constructional time, and the possibility of failure while achieving the benefit of ERP solution. However, there are many considerations which the enterprise carefully take into in order to implement the systems successfully such as selecting the system which is right for the enterprise's environment by setting the goal of implementing the system clearly, reducing the construction time by minimizing the customizing of the system, including the core people who knows the business process well, enough education before and after the implementation, and considering many aspect of ASP service provider. Also, the service provider should develop new way to provide customized service with cheap price while guaranteeing the reliability and supporting the customer's needs actively.

As the 21st century signifies an information-oriented society, the computer integration takes place in all walks of human presence. Needs for computer and network-integrated automation present new challenges in military as well as commercial facility systems engineering. Since the first intelligent building appeared in USA in 1984, it gradually became an essential capability for the building industry requirement these days. Intelligent Building System(IBS) is evolving to be very complex because there are many subsystems such as telecommunication(TC), office automation(OA), building automation(BA), security, construction environments, etc. During the planing phase of IBS development, therefore, a disciplined systems engineering must be performed to analyze stake- holder's requirements to build an optimized system while minimizing trial-and-error expenses and risks. This paper presents a conceptual design of BAS applying systems engineering methods. The contribution of this study includes the development of IBS subsystem specification for building automation subsystem, which is a part of IBS, using the methodology of requirement analysis, functional analysis, synthesis, and verification. A computer-aided systems engineering s/w, RDD-100, was used to improve the system design efficiency and to promote the product design knowledge management for reuse in later design programs.
