Requirements traceability is regarded as one of the important quality attributes in software requirements engineering field. If requirements traceability is guaranteed then we can trace the requirements' life throughout all the phases, from the customers' needs in the early stage of the project to requirements specification, deployment, and maintenance phase. This includes not only tracking the development artifacts that accompany the requirements, but also tracking backwards from the development artifacts to the initial customer requirements associated with them. In this paper, especially, we dealt with the traceability between functional requirements and non-functional requirements. Among many Information Retrieval (IR) techniques, we decided to utilize Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) and Latent Dirichlet Allocation (LDA) in our research. Ultimately, we conducted an experiment on constructing traceability by using two techniques and analyzed the experiment results. And then we provided a comparative study between two IR techniques in constructing traceability between functional requirements and non-functional requirements.

Objectives : We propose a method for constructing a thesaurus of Traditional East Asian Medicine terminology using machine learning. Methods : We presented a method of combining the 'Automatic Step' which uses machine learning and the 'Manual Step' which is the operator's review process. By applying this method to the sample data, we constructed a simple thesaurus and examined the results. Results : Out of the 17,874 sample data, a thesaurus was constructed targeting 749 terminologies. 200 candidate groups were derived in the automatic step, from which 79 synonym groups were derived in the manual step. Conclusions : The proposed method in this study will likely save resources required in constructing a thesaurus.

The stabilization and reclamation of old disposal sites is becoming more important as significant numbers of disposal sites are closed and abandoned. This technical paper covers an overview of the key issues and methodologies for stabilizing and constructing facilities on old landfills. The slide portion of this presentation also include photographs showing actual construction activities. The key issues that are prevalent in remediating and closing old landfills are : correcting the stormwater flow, leachate breakout, constructing cover caps, controlling landfill gas migration and odors, cleanup groundwater and stabilizing side slopes. Some key techniques for constructing facilities on old landfills include： use of piling, installation of active landfill gas systems, providing LFG barriers under buildings, using utilidors and flexible utility interfaces and designing for site settlement. This Paper provides proven conceptual methods for solving these problems.

Reinforced concrete is the most widely used construction method for constructing structures. There is a lot of process for constructing Reinforced concrete structures such as installing rebars, molds and support, mixing and placing concrete, and curing. So the reinforced concrete work accounts for a large part of the total construction cost for constructing structure. For this reason a reasonable standard for estimating the cost of reinforced concrete construction has to be established and it will be possible to secure appropriate costs for construction work. In this study, we analyze the revision factors of the standard for estimating the cost of reinforced concrete construction and present them to secure reasonable construction costs.

이 연구에서는 학생들이 실험 결과를 그래프로 작성하고 해석하는 과정에서 범한 오류들을 과학 학업성취 수준에 따라 조사했다. 고등학교 2학년 140명을 대상으로 '기체의 압력과 부피의 관계'에 대한 그래프 작성 검사 및 해석 검사를 실시했다. 연구 결과, 대부분의 학생들이 그래프 작성 및 해석 과정에서 많은 오류를 보였다. 그래프 작성 과정에서는 '변수의 잘못된 해석', '그래프 기본 요소의 잘못된 표기', '자료의 잘못된 사용' 범주에서 총 16가지 오류 유형이 나타났다. '변수 적지 않음', '추세선을 꺾은선으로 표현', '자료 추가', '자료 삭제' 오류 유형은 과학 학업 성취 수준이 높은 학생들보다 낮은 학생들이 많이 범하였으나, '원점 표기하지 않음' 오류 유형은 반대로 나타났다. 그래프 해석 과정에서는 '자료의 잘못된 독해', '잘못된 내삽 외삽', '관계 잘못 설정' 범주에서 총9가지 오류 유형이 나타났다. '외삽 못함', '변수 사이의 관계 잘못 기술' 오류 유형은 과학 학업 성취 수준이 높은 학생들보다 낮은 학생들이 많이 범하였다. 그리고 이에 대한 교육적 함의를 논의하였다.

In this paper, we propose an approach which contains with constructing a bibliography information database, extracting the fields of research, and researching trend of them, using data mining. To apply our approach to IEICE Technical Report (nonlinear problem society), the database was constructed based on its report, keywords were analyzed using the frequency analysis and the association analysis, and we discussed about the result. We could extract some field of research from the result.

This paper presents a method of constructing the switching function using edge-valued decision diagrams. The proposed method is as following. The edge-valued decision diagram is a new data structure type of decision diagram which is recently used in constructing the digital logic systems based on the graph theory. Next, we apply edge-valued decision diagram to function minimization of digital logic systems. The proposed method has the visible, schematic and regular properties.

For the past several years, we have built various tools for automatic construction of biopathways to help biological experts, especially in the field of agriculture. We integrated several systems for constructing web applications for analyzing biological pathway information for agricultural species, constructing optimized pathway maps. In addition to building web applications for agricultural pathway information, we developed several stand-alone software tools, which are publicly downloadable under proper license agreements.

This paper presents an algorithm generating inverse element over finite fields GF($3^m$), and constructing method of inverse element generator based on inverse element generating algorithm. An inverse computing method of an element over GF($3^m$) which corresponds to a polynomial over GF($3^m$) with order less than equal to m-1. Here, the computation is based on multiplication, square and cube method derived from the mathematics properties over finite fields.

To reduce the complexity in constructing a fuzzy logic controller of multivariable systems, three major methods are presented. One is the method of constructing single-input-single-output fuzzy logic controllers after decoupling the target system. Another is the method of using fuzzy relation matrices which indicate the relation between each input and output. The other is the method of using the hierarchically classified inputs which dominantly influence one output than other inputs. Using the last two methods, simulation results of fuzzy logic controller implemented on 160MW boiler-turbine plant model are also shown.
