남자저고리 원형제도법 개발을 위한 연구(2) -깃구성을 중심으로- (A Study on the Basic Pattern Drafting Method Development of Men's J$\breve{o}$-go-ri -Collar Construction (2)-)

  • According to the design method for constructing the Korean Men's Jo-go-ri(the traditional Korean jacket)collar, there are differences in form after its completion. In the construction design of the midsection of the gusset as in that of the basic pattern Jo-go-ri, not only was the positioning of the two sides of the collar not smooth, but also, when the collar strip(Dongjung) was attached, there would be an imbalance on one side or the other so that it was difficult to achieve symmetry. Therefore in this project, by applying the pattern design of the gusset midsection to that of the collar midsection, not only did attaching the collar(Kit) and the collar strip create a visual effect by equalizing the lengths of the two sides, but the construction was also easy. This method of construction introduces the three-dimensional aspect of the human form in its conic, spherical and cylindrical aspects, so that, through schematizing the scientific character of Korea's clothing, its appropriateness is verified. As a matter of fact, since there is no standardization of pattern whether for educational use or for mass-produced clothing, so that even the patterns used in computer-assisted design are executed according to the designer's personal skill, the reality is that after completion of construction the quality has not been uniform. For this schematization, inverse calculation of measurements pertaining to the calculation formula and of teaching materials has been referenced. In particular, the partial regulation of the calculation formula pertaining to the basic pattern construction, the method of making the collar midsection, and the construction method of the extreme and mean ratio adjustment, can be adjusted for all measurements, thereby providing the establishment of a design criterion and the possibility of the standardization of construction methods. The production method for the basic pattern design is as follows: 1) The conic angle for the Jo-go-ri's girth, length end neck width is fixed at 70(72) degree. 2) The radius of the cone is sleeve length. 3) The bust girth calculation formula is B/4 + 2.5 cm. 4) The armhole formula is B/4 + 2.5cm. 5) The neck width formula is B/10. 6) The ratio of the collar junction{width of collar(Kit) + width of collar strip(Dongjung) to the gusset length is 5:8. 7) The length of the side seam is a length intersecting the armhole line and the conic radius of sleeve length, that is an arc that exceeds the length of the Jo-go-ri's midsection.

The production method for the pattern design is as follows: 1) The conic angle for the G gori's girth, length and neck width is fixed at 70 degrees. 2) The radius of the cone is B/2. 3) The calculation formula is B/4 + 1.5cm 4) The armhole formula is B/4, the same as in the basic method. 5) The width formula is B/10. 6) The ratio of the collar junction(width of collar + width of collar strip)to the gusset length is 5:8. 7) The length of the side seam is a length intersecting the armhole line and the conic radius (B/2), that is an arc that exceeds the length of the G gori's midsection; the component ratio of this length to the collar junction is accordingly 13:5. 8) The curve frame length of the back midsection is an arc exceeding B/4(the armhole line). 9) The ratio of the sleeve opening calculation formula to the armhole length is 8:5, forming an arc with the midsection length.

  • It is essential to obtain a distane informaion in order to completely execute assembly tasks such as a grasping and an insertion. In this paper, we propose a method estimating a measurement distance from a sensor to an object through using the omni-directional image sensing system for assembly(OISSA) and show its features and feasibility by a computer simulation. The method, utilizing a forwarded motion stereo technique, is simple to search the corresponding points and possible to immediatiely obtain a three-dimensional 2.pi.-shape information.

  • We developed a new cholesteric material for bistable LCDs. The material consists of dispersion of sub-micron ferroelectric particles in cholesteric host. We found that the doping of the cholesteric with ferroelectric particles in small concentration (< 1% by weight) strongly improved basic characteristics of the transition between poly-domain planar texture and focal conic texture. Decrease of the driving voltage, increase of the reflection contrast and the steepness of the transition is associated with giant steady dipole and dielectric constant of the ferroelectric particles.

  • A terrestrial cave snail (Gastropoda: Subulinidae), Sinistras chois n. gen., n. sp., from the Gungi-cave in Jeju Island, South Korea represents a monotypic genus, and is proposed as a new genus in the family Subulinidae. Diagnostic features of the genus include a sinistral shell, that has a minute-sized, elongate conic-shaped, apical microsculpture with low tubercles. The chromosome number and karyotype are 2n=56 and 8M+15SM+5ST, respectively.

  • 한국천문연구원에서는 1 m 망원경을 국내 기술로 설계 제작하여 현재 시험 관측을 수행하고 있다. 이 망원경은 가대는 경위도식이고 광학계는 Ritchey-Chretien 형 망원경이다. Ritchey-Chretien 형은 구면 수차와 코마 수차가 없는 광학계로서 대부분의 천문 연구 망원경이 Ritchey-Chretien 형으로 제작되고 있다. 원래의 광학계 설계는 합성초점비가 F/10, 주경 곡률 반경이 5,700 mm로 설계하였으나 주경 가공 과정에서 주경의 곡률 반경과 원뿔상수 (conic constant)가 설계치와 차이가 발생하여, 이에 맞추어 전체 시스템 설계를 변경하였다. 최종 완성된 망원경의 광학계 설계 수치는 아래 표와 같다.   • In this paper we present an approximation method of quadric surface using quartic spline. Our method is based on the approximation of quadratic rational B$\acute{e}$zier patch using quartic B$\acute{e}$zier patch. We show that our approximation method yields $G^1$ (tangent plane) continuous quartic spline surface. We illustrate our results by the approximation of helicoid-like surface.

  • Robustness of adaptive pole-placement control against unmodeled dynamics is proved. This proof is done by showing that the sufficient condition for robustness, conic condition and stability of a specific operator, is satisfied for a larger set of unmodeled dynamics. The simulation results show the proposed method is quite powerful. And the difference between the concept of the pseudoplant control and the known internal model control is shown by the closed loop analysis.

  • In this paper, a robust discrete-time adaptive control with compensation is proposed for single-input single-output discrete-time plants which have unmodeled dynamics. The stability of the overall system is studied using the conic sector stability theorems when a normalized constant gain parameter adaptation algorithm and a properly chosen compensation are used. An illustrative exmple shows that this compensation can also increase the parameter adaptation speed. And a method of compensation using the adaptive observation is also discussed.
