This thesis is for the study of hair style and consciousness concerning Korean awris hairs. Our nation had been originally considered to be a people without decorating their hairs. The adults however used a bundle of hair which was twirled, and the bachelors wore original hair befor wiman chosun in B.C. 194. Since then this twirled bundle of hair had been consistently used until the end of the chosun period from the Three-Kingdom period, except Mongolian hair style which was used for one hund-red years during the Won's oppression period at the time of Koryo. The bachelor's hair style not being adorned was developed into that of twirled bundle of hair which was used for on the Three-Kingdom period to the Koryo period, but this was also transformed into the current hair style ? mainly to the decree of short-cut hair style in 1895 and the prevolent western clothes. The origin of meins hair style in Korea was a hair without decoration which was same as that of Ski-tie people in Western country, but our style was different from that of Manju and Mongolian people who have same kinship relationshup. And our nation was greatly influenced by the Chinese culture in view of the Twin-Knats style of the unmarried. Our people's consciousness uwderlying in hairs shows resped for seniors, standard between dults and adolescents, magics, and desine for ornaments.

Problems and technologies involved in integrating an audio preamplifier in terms of thick film technology has been discussed in detail. In particular, an attempt has been made to find methods for functional trimming of the amplifer by employing computer analysis. Among seven resistors integrated on a alumina substrate, only one resistor was found to be very sensitive to over all performance of the preamplifier. By trimming this resistor to its freguency charcteristic reguirements, it was possible to cut down trimming labor by one seventh. Besides, problems concerning resistor conductor contacts, crossover parasitic capacitance and the relations between noise per(ormance and trimming method are discussed in detail.

In general, Diode makes a major role in electronic circuit. For example, switching of rectifier, cross current of switching rectifier, energy transfer of electronic element and reverse charge of capacitor, voltage insulation, energy feedback from load to power supply, and such as recovery of storaged energy. Generally, We regard power diode as ideal element, but it has a certain boundary actually, specially, We use diode for detecting circuit peak hold voltage signal. It has cut in voltage. It occurs error of measurement value namely. This error, below in region diode voltage drop (0.7v) measurement value is wholesome signal, Specially, We can not get precision data. Therefore, precision level is low between theoretical and measurement data because of error in actual circuit. Conclusionally, In this paper, We define the error concerning to the power diode characteristics which is used detecting of the minute signal, and recommend the method that minimize measurement error.
This study aims to figure out the characteristics of the mathematical ability of multicultural Korean elementary school learners. This was done by analyzing the results of a mathematics diagnostic test given to multicultural Korean first and second year elementary school students. The findings of this study mainly support the following three. First, it was indicated that, regardless of whether the students are multicultural or not, more second-year students had difficulty in understanding mathematics than the first-year students. Specifically, a higher percentage of second-year students were below the reference point (cut-off point) than was the case in the first-year learners, which pattern of the overall Korean students was consistent with that of multicultural Koreans. Second, concerning the sub-fields of mathematics, higher proportion of the students fell below the cut-off point in 'numbers and arithmetics' area than in 'measure and geometry,' which pattern was again the same with the multicultural students. Third, it was implied that, in addition to mathematically more complex questions, linguistically complex sentential representations contributed to increasing the difficulty of the test items. It is suggested that care be taken to enhance linguistic processing and to employ well-defined terms.
This study aims to review and evaluate the changes of the British social housing policy under the Conservative government(1979-1997), and to get some implications for the Korean case. The Conservatives tried to diminish the role of state in the realm of social welfare :in general, and to retreat the social housing policy in particular as a reaction to the' welfare state crisis' started from the early 1970s. In the realm of housing policy, privatisation and marketisation including the massive sale of council houses were driven enthusiastically. Public expenditure cut and redirection of the housing subsidy scheme were also implemented according to the changed policy orientation. The clear visible results of the policy changes can be seen as follows; radical changes of the housing tenure distribution, changing role of local authorities, and the worsening housing problems- housing shortages, residualisation, affordability problem, deepening dependency and the negative distribution of housing subsidy etc. Furthermore the goal of public expenditure cut, in fact, was not accomplished successfully. The results of this study support the argument that the Neo-liberalistic approach to the 'welfare state crisis' have resulted in reconstruction and redirection rather than total abolition of the role of state in welfare provision. This conclusion could provide important implications to Korean case, especially concerning the role of state in the social housing policy.
This study was conducted to investigate the relationship among body image Perception, eating behavior and health status in young females. The survey was carried out by self-questionnaires for 293 female high school students(HS) and 164 female college students(CS) living in Daegu and suburbs of Daegu. For the perception of body image, 9-grade body figure drawings were used based on average Korean body size. EAT-26 and Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale were used to measure the tendency of eating disorder and self-esteem. It appeared that 40.5% of the subjects were off the normal range of body weight; especially 34.2% of the subject were underweight. The subjects' perception about current body image was within normal range. Almost of all the subjects believed that the ideal body image was thinner than their own current body image, and they wanted to be thinner than their current body image. The change of eating behaviors related to weight control of CS was significantly higher than that of HS students. EAT-26 score, self-esteem score, and subjective health status score were no difference between groups. The cut-off point of the eating disorder in this study was equal to or greater than 20 in EAT-26 score. The rates of the eating disorder were very high as 9.6% of HS and 8.5% of CS. Eating disorder was positively correlated with BMI, current body image, dissatisfaction of body image and the change score of eating behavior. But eating disorder was negatively correlated with health status. From the results of this study, we suggested that one of causes related to the eating disorder behaviors in adolescent females was resulted from misperception about ideal body image. There is a great need to provide nutrition educations concerning appropriate perception of body image and weight control among adolescent females.
Irradiation is frequently employed as the sole therapy for oral cancer. These irradiated patients presents peculiar and progressive dental problems. But there is only scanty informations concerning specific approaches to endodontic treatment for head and neck cancer patients who have been subjected to tumorcidal doses of radiation therapy. The purpose of the present study was to determine the effects of cobalt-60 radiation on the pulpal healing of dogs after the direct pulp capping. As the experimental animals, 10 dogs (above 7-8 months after birth) were divided into 3 groups (Control, Group I, Group II). The cobalt-60 was irradiated to the Group I and Group II each 1,009 and 1,562.5 rads as single dose. As the capping material Dycal$^{(R)}$(L.D. Caulk company) was selected. After the direct pulp capping the dogs were sacrified 1, 2, 3, 4, week interval and made the original slides cut with a thickness of 8 microns and stained with hematoxylin and eosin. After examination and comparision of all specimen, the results of this study were drawn as follows; 1. The formation of reparative dentin was observed from the 1st week in the Control group, the 2nd week in the Group I & II. The few and irregular tuble structure was appeared in the 4th week in the Control group only, but failed in the Group I & II. 2. The continuity of dentin bridge was appeared in the 3rd week in all group and the degeneration of odontoblast in the 1st week of the Group II. 3. The congestion and hemorrhage in the pulp tissue were observed in all groups until 3rd week. The inflammation was appeared within the 2nd week in the Group I and especially marked in the Group II, but absent in the Control group. 4. In cases Dycal into the pulp tissue deeply, the local necrosis of pulp and decrease of dentin formation was observed.

This study aims to develop contemporary fashion designs from the unique Yao minority costumes and to explore the possibility of developing creative designs by using knitting materials. The research method is based on the cultural clothing and costumes of the Chinese ethnic minority, as well as literature concerning the Yao costumes and photo data to investigate the cultural background and characteristics apparent in Yao costumes. The overall design characteristics of Yao costumes are as follows. First, the shape of Yao costumes are divided into straight-lined short tops with pleated skirts or shorts, or cardigan tops with pants and aprons, or long shirts, pants, and a belt. Each variant of tribal clothing is different. Second, the colors used are mainly black or dark blue, and these are accented by other colors, such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white. Third, the clothing patterns are mainly in plant, animal, natural, geometric, and human, etc. motifs. The most common patterns in daily life are the patterns using geometric shapes, plants, or animals. Using the background of the unique lifestyles of the Yao ethnic minority, this study applied hand knitting and jacquard techniques for a knit fashion design. In order to develop traditional patterns, Yao patterns were entered into an Illustrator and SDS-ONE APEX3-4 was used for simulation. Using wool fibers as the raw material; the knitting machine used a Bird's eye Jacquard technique-10GG. The results of this research and design work were as follows. First, the knitted clothing design using Yao clothing elements has significance for the development and flexible use of ethnic elements in contemporary creative design. Second, the straight cut design using hand-knitted and jacquard-knit fabrics can minimize waste materials and provide more possibilities for sustainable design development. Third, it provides additional methods for the combination of hand-knitting and jacquard knitting fashion design.

The most remarkable business model to Have merged in electronic publishing is the so-called 'Big Deal'. Major Publishers have begun offering libraries bundled packages that are across journals and across print and electronic versions. This paper examined consortium conditions of scholarly journals in the light of big deal. The result skewed that various pricing models have been appeared and freedoms to choose collections have been on the increase in comparison with the past. But many major Publishers have adopted a typical big deal contract condition that a library enters into a long-term arrangement to get access to large electronic journal collections at a dramatic discount interchange of a promise not to cut print subscriptions. The publishing and library communities need to find alternative pricing models that provide better deals for those disadvantaged by the prevalence of the big deal. Much in the world of scholarly publication is changing, combination of traditional publishing and open access publishing may well be gained public favor in the future.
Objectives : To identify differences in perspective between "Jinguiyuhanjing" and "Songbenshanghanlun" in regards to Baihutang and Baihujiarenshentang through comparative analysis of relevant verses of the two texts. Methods : Comparative analysis was undertaken based on the hypothesis that the two texts are relatively unrelated to each other in their transmission. Relevant verses were examined to identify their differences, followed by analysis of the overall context based on these variations to determine the difference in perspective between the two texts. Results & Conclusions : While in "Songbenshanghanlun" the relationship between the two patterns were ambiguous and conflicting at times, in "Jinguiyuhanjing" the relationship was clear-cut, and similar patterns that could be mistaken were systematically explained. From the perspective of "Songbenshanghanlun", the key traits of "Jinguiyuhanjing" could be summarized into two. First, in "Songbenshanghanlun", it says that if there are exterior symptoms, Baihutang cannot be applied, which naturally excludes Baihujiarenshentang. However in "Jinguiyuhanjing", exterior symptoms constitute the Baihujiarenshentang pattern. Second, in "Songbenshanghanlun" contraindication of Baihutang concerning miscellaneous symptoms are reduced in the form of footnotes which meaning is unclear, while in "Jinguiyuhanjing" the three points of contraindication of Baihutang are listed separately under verse no. 170, with relevant verses listed organically, explaining in great detail the Baihutang pattern, its relation to similar patterns and treatment.
