Conventional potential concept does not allow different currents before and after the electric load. Purpose: This paper is a report of a concept analysis of 'quality of pediatric nursing care', Methods: Rodgers's evolutionary method of concept analysis was used. Data were collected from published literature related to quality of pediatric nursing care. Results: Quality of pediatric nursing care was identified with three dimensions and seven attributes: 1) nurse's character: technical competence, interpersonal competence, 2) nurse's activities: developmentally appropriate care, attentiveness, entertainment, 3) nurse-parent interaction: nurse-parent partnership, emotional support. Antecedents of quality of pediatric nursing care were 'child and parent's expectation about pediatric nursing care', 'previous caring experience of pediatric nurses'. Consequences of quality of pediatric nursing care were 'meet child and parent's needs' and 'better health outcomes.' Conclusion: 'Quality of pediatric nursing care' is a core concept in pediatric nursing practice. Appropriate instruments to operationalize the concept need to be developed.
In this thesis was conducted to propose a method for efficient information retrieval using concept lattices. Since this thesis designed a new system based on ordinary concept lattices, it has the same approach method as ontology, but this thesis proposes new concept lattices to be used by establishing collaborative relations between objects and concepts that users are likely to search information more efficiently. The system suggested by this thesis can be summarized as below. Firstly, this system leads to a collaborative search by using Three kinds of concepts, such as keyword concept lattices, which focus on input key words, expert concept lattices recommended by experts and theme concept lattices, and based on these 3 concept lattices, it will help users search information they want more efficiently. Besides, as the expert concept and the keyword concept become combined, further providing users with the frequency of keyword and the frequency of category, this system can function to recommend key words related to search words entered by users. Another function of this system is to inform users of key words and categories used in users' interested themes by using the theme concept lattices. Secondly, when there is not keyword entered by a user, it is possible for users to achieve the goal of search through the secondary search when this system provides them with key words related to the input keyword. Thirdly, since most of the information is managed while being dispersed, such dispersed and managed information not only has different expression methods but changes as time goes. Accordingly, By using XMDR for efficient data access and integration of distributed information, this thesis proposes a new technique and retrieval system to integrate dispersed data.
Clustering is a process of grouping similar or relevant documents into a cluster and assigning a meaningful concept to the cluster. By this process, clustering facilitates fast and correct search for the relevant documents by narrowing down the range of searching only to the collection of documents belonging to related clusters. For effective clustering, techniques are required for identifying similar documents and grouping them into a cluster, and discovering a concept that is most relevant to the cluster. One of the problems often appearing in this context is the detection of a complex concept that overlaps with several simple concepts at the same hierarchical level. Previous clustering methods were unable to identify and represent a complex concept that belongs to several different clusters at the same level in the concept hierarchy, and also could not validate the semantic hierarchical relationship between a complex concept and each of simple concepts. In order to solve these problems, this paper proposes a new clustering method that identifies and represents complex concepts efficiently. We developed the Hierarchical Overlapping Clustering (HOC) algorithm that modified the traditional Agglomerative Hierarchical Clustering algorithm to allow overlapped clusters at the same level in the concept hierarchy. The HOC algorithm represents the clustering result not by a tree but by a lattice to detect complex concepts. We developed a system that employs the HOC algorithm to carry out the goal of complex concept detection. This system operates in three phases; 1) the preprocessing of documents, 2) the clustering using the HOC algorithm, and 3) the validation of semantic hierarchical relationships among the concepts in the lattice obtained as a result of clustering. The preprocessing phase represents the documents as x-y coordinate values in a 2-dimensional space by considering the weights of terms appearing in the documents. First, it goes through some refinement process by applying stopwords removal and stemming to extract index terms. Then, each index term is assigned a TF-IDF weight value and the x-y coordinate value for each document is determined by combining the TF-IDF values of the terms in it. The clustering phase uses the HOC algorithm in which the similarity between the documents is calculated by applying the Euclidean distance method. Initially, a cluster is generated for each document by grouping those documents that are closest to it. Then, the distance between any two clusters is measured, grouping the closest clusters as a new cluster. This process is repeated until the root cluster is generated. In the validation phase, the feature selection method is applied to validate the appropriateness of the cluster concepts built by the HOC algorithm to see if they have meaningful hierarchical relationships. Feature selection is a method of extracting key features from a document by identifying and assigning weight values to important and representative terms in the document. In order to correctly select key features, a method is needed to determine how each term contributes to the class of the document. Among several methods achieving this goal, this paper adopted the $x^2$�� statistics, which measures the dependency degree of a term t to a class c, and represents the relationship between t and c by a numerical value. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the HOC algorithm, a series of performance evaluation is carried out by using a well-known Reuter-21578 news collection. The result of performance evaluation showed that the HOC algorithm greatly contributes to detecting and producing complex concepts by generating the concept hierarchy in a lattice structure.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of parent- adolescent communication on self-concept and problem behavior of adolescents. Method: The participants in this study were 480 students from middle schools in Daejeon City. Data were collected from May 19 to 30, 2008 and analyzed using SPSS WIN 14.0 version. Result: The mean scores for communication with fathers and mothers were 2.98 and 3.35 respectively and for self-concept, 2.80. The highest reported percentage for problem behavior over the past year were going to the noraebang (Karoki) or videobang (PC Cafe) (78.6%). Significant differences were found for the influence of parent-adolescent communication on self-concept and problem behavior. Communication with fathers and with mothers was positive correlated (r=.365, p<.001). The difference in self-concept for communication with fathers was F=60.40, p<.001, and with mothers, F=51.74, p<.001 and for problem behavior, for communication with fathers, F=3.33, p<.05, and with mothers, F=10.05, p<.001. For self-concept and communication with fathers the correlation was r=.512, p<.001, with mothers, r=.453, p<.001 There was a negative correlation between self-concept and problem behavior(r=-.248, p<.001). Conclusion: This results suggest that practical parent-adolescent communication programs should be developed and applied to bolster communication of adolescents with their parents.
The purpose of this study was to analyze hierarchy for high school students' concepts about genetics. The assessment of genetics related concept was conducted for 10th and 11th grade students and a hierarchy map was schematized based on the evaluation result using Knowledge State Analysis Method. Some differences were found when comparing the result of whole students' hierarchy with hierarchy on 7th national science education curriculum. In analyzing hierarchy by grade, concepts of highest and lowest level turned out same but some concepts of middle level changed. In case of analysis of hierarchy for concepts about genetics by score, as score was higher, the number of concept in lower level became larger and the relationship among concepts became more structurized. Following studies are required to develop specific teaching strategies for having effective genetics concept and conduct case study of applying the concept hierarchy through this method to class in the field.

Fashion is traditionally perceived as a non-art in art philosophy; however, it is now being evaluated as art through the process of recognizing its cultural value and position. This study investigated the expanded concept of contemporary fashion in the same context of the expanded concept of contemporary art to present the possibility of fashion as art. This study enhances the artistic and cultural value, as well as the social function and position, of fashion by granting it the same status as art according to the concept of expanded contemporary art. For the research method, a literature review and a case analysis were conducted through specialty publications related to art history, aesthetics, and fashion in addition to regular publications, websites specializing in fashion, art museums and fashion style websites. The expanded aesthetic concept of contemporary art has embraced challenges to ideal beauty, production methods through interactivity, and expansion of art expression through mass media and industrial products. In the same context, the expanded aesthetic concept of contemporary fashion has established challenges to conventional beauty, the expansion of production methods, and the expansion and transfiguration of materials.
Purpose: This paper analyzed the historical origins of the Qi concept and assesses its possible contribution to the development of complementary therapy and new nursing practices. Methods: In order to clarify the Qi concept measure its theoretical/clinical potentials, this study analyzed both historical data and experimental research that adopt and apply the concept. These include modern/contemporary research measuring its effects in promoting mental and physical health. Using the method of cross-cultural comparison, this study analyzed diverse approaches to the Qi concept and sought to find common features among the approaches. Results: A historical, cross-cultural analysis revealed several fundamental similarities between Qi theories that have developed in the east and the holistic concepts that have evolved in the western traditions. Especially, the analysis of the more recent research on the Qi concept shows ample possibilities of its future contributions to the development of new diagnostic applications and the promotion of overall human health. Conclusion: The historical study of the Qi concept found some key common factors in the diverse philosophical traditions in the east and the west. Considering the growing popularity of complementary therapy among health professionals and the general public, the Qi concept and its clinical applications are expected to promote human health. In this context, this research contributes to developing new nursing practices based on the concept by clarifying its philosophical origins and theoretical backgrounds.
In this paper, we propose the similarity measurement method between two program codes by counting the frequency and length of continuous patterns of specifiers and keywords, which exist in two program codes. In addition, we propose the visualization method of this analysis result by formal concept analysis. Proposed method considers adjacencies of specifiers or keywords, which have not been considered in the previous similarity measurements. Proposed method can detect the plagiarism by analyzing the pattern in each function regardless of the order of function call and execution. In addition, the result of the similarity measurement is visualized by the lattice of formal concept analysis to increase the user understanding about the relations between program codes. Experimental results showed that proposed method succeeded in 96% plagiarism detections. Our method could be applied into the analysis of general documents.
