This study will covered socio-cultural background and characteristic of the face-concealing culture of Istanbul which has liberal and westernized clothes culture for women even if it's an city in an Islamic country. This study depended on literatures related to religion, culture and costumes of the Ottoman Empire, especially costumic data on miniature of turkey, which was famous from 16th to 19th century. Since the 17th century, the Ottoman Empire has been gradually influenced by European countries but the change of women's clothes was not considerable. In the 18th century, women's clothes were influenced by foreign fashions. A veil to cover the face was gradually disappeared and traditional Turkish headdresses were replaced by European hats. Through face-concealing culture of Istanbul, we can see some socio-cultural features like Islamic religious character, one's social position, economic situation, westernization and renovation, beauty and completion of costume, duality for the reason of regional difference.

The purpose of this study is to present a theoretical framework for analysis and interpretation of medieval look in fashion by investigating its aesthetic values. Accordingly, it would provide a better understanding of the medieval culture with its composite aspects. Modernism sought to make the Middle Ages in its own image.'New Medievalism' has on the whole tried to avoid reading the Middle Ages onto the modern world. Instead it designates a predisposition about the discipline of medieval studies broadly conceived. Consequently, it has changed the viewpoint of medieval culture from the one-sided angle into the diversified one. As recent studies based on New Medievalism have argued, a close look at the medieval culture revealed the dualistic nature of it, with contradictory aspects such as piety and secularity, ideality and formality coexisting. The characteristics of the medieval culture are categorized to asceticism, naturalism, mysticism and secularism. Asceticism, which is responsible for the melancholic and heavy atmosphere of the medieval culture, is related to christianity and despair of life. It is expressed in medieval dress in forms of body-concealing semi-fitted silhouette, coarse texture and dark color. As a reaction to the extreme splendor and exposure of recent fashion, the ascetic medieval look is attracting attention. The monastic look is characterized by body-concealing silhouettes and minimalized usage of colors and details. Naturalism is the feature seeking for purity of the nature and the human itself. It appears in terms of line as a smooth curve flowing along the body contours, or as a revival style of the Greco-Roman drapery in the medieval dress. Naturalism in the medieval look of the late 20th century fashion is expressed as a pure image with the use of sheer and soft fabric to form a smooth curve flowing along the body contours. Mysticism symbolizes the authority of the Christ and the glory of heaven. It is presented in the medieval dress of the body-concealing straight silhouette made of gorgeous fabrics, brilliant colors and decorations by gems and gold. The insecurity caused by the fin-de-siecle mood is creating a strong interest in religion and it is reflected in fashion as a medieval look reviving the solemn and magnificent style of the medieval dress. Secularism is a reflection of the medieval mind of indulging in the beauty of the mundane world. Heraldry and excessive decorations of the medieval dress are forms of this secularism. These styles of gorgeousness are being refined into a new medieval look of the 1990's. The medieval look of the modern fashion is featured in various styles, reflecting the pluralism of the postmodern society.

The purpose of this study is to help understanding of east-west culture fusion in fashion since 2000 years, to play a guideline's role in the development on fashion designs study. The methods of this study are academic literatures as well as practical study through case studies about actual works. Tendency of east-west culture fusion in fashion since 2000 years is shape and performance, pattern, accessary. Shape and performance are reinterpreted through east folk fashion transforming on west fashion, pattern shows traditional pattern of each nations, but letters of typical of each nations appears for new pattern which expresses nation identification. Accessary is in the harmony with east -west fashion culture like that without transform. Aesthetic value of east-west culture fusion in fashion since 2000 years is summerised opening, co-ownership, and amusement. First, opening is positiveness of acception and acknowledgment for other. Second, co-ownership turns towards humanism, and proves participating in globalism and really global village. Third, amusement is to express freedom, and to reveal privately emotion concealing in public area.

Clothes and human body are inseparably related. Aesthetic consciousness of the body determines the form of clothing, reflecting the time and culture as well as the individual and society. Clothes can even reorganize the meaning of the body, while transcending their instrumental functions of concealing, revealing, and deforming the body. Using �body�t o analyze the clothing form, my study develops a framework by which to classify the absence of physicality in fashion focusing on the deformation of the body parts. The absence of physicality denotes the break away from the idealized and standardized body for mass productions. It tends to experiment with extreme exaggeration in form refusing to subscribe to the traditional values that build on the balance and symmetry of the body, which opposes the sartorial convention and symbolism that results in the discord between signifiant and signifi? f clothing.

In this paper, a technique for securely concealing the watermark, which is intellectual property information, in the image pixel LSB using spatial encryption is proposed. The proposed watermarking technique can be effectively used to protect intellectual property of images. The proposed technique can be used to extract watermark without loss from the stego-image, which is a hidden image of spatially encrypted watermark. The experimental results confirmed the superiority of the proposed technique. As a result of performing watermarking using the proposed technique, the image quality of the stego-image is higher than 51 dB, so humans cannot visually recognize the presence of a watermark. Due to the watermark is spatially encrypted, the security of the watermark is excellent.

Individual personality traits are key factors that affect users' self-disclosure on SNS. We examined the relationship between an individual personality trait (i.e., narcissism) and three dimensions of self-disclosure behavior on Facebook (i.e., intention, level, and control of self-disclosure). A total of 261 Facebook users completed an online survey. The findings showed that more narcissistic individuals engage in deeper levels of self-disclosure and do so with greater intentionality than previous research indicated. More interestingly, narcissistic users simultaneously tend to control their expressions in public by concealing who they really are. Overall, these findings suggested that the self-disclosures on Facebook must not investigated by a single dimensions for better understanding of psychological dynamics of it users. In addition, the present research suggested that the narcissism should not be regarded as a predictor which simply gives either a positive or negative influence on self-disclosing behaviors in SNS.

This study examines the stealth function of sputtered fabric with an infrared thermal imaging camera in terms of the thermal and infrared (IR) transmittance characteristics. Various base fabrics were selected, infrared imaging was performed, and infrared transmittance was measured. By infrared camera experiment it was found that the sample was concealed because it had a similar color to the surroundings when the aluminum layer was directed toward the outside. In addition, a comparison of the infrared thermographic image of the untreated sample and the sputtered sample in the laboratory showed that the difference in ${\Delta}E$ value ranged from 31 to 90.4 and demonstrated effective concealment. However, concealment was not observed in the case of the 3-layer (Nylon-Al-Nylon) model when a sputtered aluminum layer existed between two nylon layers. The direction of the sputtering layer did not affect the infrared transmittance in the infrared transmittance experiment. Therefore, it seems better to interpret the concealing effect in the infrared thermographic images by using thermal transfer theory rather than infrared transmittance theory. We believe that the results of this study will be applicable to developing high performance smart clothing and military uniforms.

This study is a qualitative study to uncover the meaning and structure of nursing students' online psychiatric nursing practice experience by applying Parse's research method. The subjects of the study were 9 fourth-year nursing students at K University who took psychiatric nursing practice online in the COVID-19 situation. Data collection was conducted from March 7, 2022 to May 27, 2022. As a result of the study, the core concepts of nursing students' online practice experience in psychiatric nursing in the COVID-19 situation were: 'Recognizing the importance of understanding oneself and others', 'Preparing for communication to build therapeutic relationships', and 'A perspective on the future through exploration of the meaning of nursing'. Structural transposition was presented as 'Empathy for self and others', 'Mindset for interpersonal human relationship', 'Exploring the essence of nursing and self-realization'. Conceptual integration appeared as 'Valuing', 'Revealing-Concealing', 'Revealing-Concealing'. In conclusion, nursing students' online practice experience in mental health nursing in the COVID-19 situation was an experience of growing and transcending as future nurses by recognizing the importance of human understanding and communication for the therapeutic relationship that is the purpose of mental nursing. This study will serve as basic data for efficient clinical practice operations in various unpredictable situations, such as future pandemics.

The costume of Islam cultural area has been affected by the strict social structure, formed by religion, and traditional costume of Islam has been maintained up to these days under the influence of religion. Islam Traditional Costume, which is the succession of the traditional costume of southwest Asia region, became armed with the form of closed costume due to the chastity and oppression. There are figurative features of Islam Folk Costume; first, the dimensional form due to the ampleness, covering the body, second, the reinforcement of closed form such as chador and burqa, third, the symbolism such as the adornment or incantational ornament, which has been inherited from the former times of Islam era, fourth, the color, simplified with black and white. The aesthetic values of Islam folk costume are represented with 'The beauty of abstinency', suppressing the ornamentation and color, caused by the strict social atmosphere under the influence of the form of traditional costume and religion, 'The beauty of concealment' due to the closeness, with affluent costume forms, covering the body and even concealing the face, and 'The beauty of symbol' which is demonstrated with incantational ornamentation of face and interior decoration. In some nations amongst Islam nations, the wearing of hijab is strictly regulated but black chador and burqa are regarded as negative symbols, representing the closeness and oppression of Islam. It is the product of Orientalism from the western perspective. The Islam Hijab culture is the symbol of oppression towards women, but, on the other hand, it is the device to protect women and the traditional culture, symbolizing the identity.

This article is about seeking for modern festival possibility of Mudang gut with noticing a festival essence of it. Several components and process of performing Maeul gut can be a festival. But the recent condition of gut pan obstructs becoming a festival. Above of all, distorted eyes on Mudang gut deny a festivity. Transition into seeking for private fortune and the duplicity of concealing a Mudang gut have weakened a festivity of Mudang gut. Maeul gut becomes a ceremony with unequal distribution of support fund and the support fund on intangible cultural assets. Therefore, we should consider Mudang gut as a game. People need to change their preception as a performance that people can actively take part in. Mudang gut need a active participants not bystanders. When people consider them selves as actors, Mudang gut will be a festival.
