컴퓨터를 배우고 이해하며 효과적으로 사용하기 위해서는 컴퓨터 용어를 바르게 알고 있어야 한다. 처음으로 컴퓨터를 배우는 초등학교 학생에게 있어서 컴퓨터 용어의 바른 이해는 매우 중요하다. 본 연구에서는 현재 초등학교에서 사용되고 있는 컴퓨터 교과서에 사용된 컴퓨터 용어를 조사하여 초등학생에게 적합한 컴퓨터 용어를 선정하였고, 이를 분석하여 초등학교 컴퓨터 교육과정에 맞게 1 2학년 용어, 3 4학년 용어, 5 6학년 용어로 분류하였고, 분야별로는 정보윤리 용어, 컴퓨터 기초 용어, 응용소프트웨어 용어, 컴퓨터 통신 용어로 분류하였다. 본 연구의 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교사들에게 초등학교 컴퓨터 수업 지도에 필수적인 컴퓨터 용어 사용 지침을 제공한다. 둘째, 초등학교 컴퓨터 교과서나 연수 교재 그리고 학습 자료제작 시에 참고 자료가 된다. 셋째, 초등학교에서 컴퓨터 인정 교과서를 선정할 때 중요한 기준을 제공한다.

We propose a new query expansion method in the extended Boolean model that improves precision without degrading recall. For improving precision, our method promotes the ranks of documents having more query terms since users typically prefer such documents. The proposed method consists of the following three steps: (1) expanding the query by adding new terms related to each term of the query, (2) further expanding the query by adding augmented terms, which are conjunctions of the terms, (3) assigning a weight on each term so that augmented terms have higher weights than the other terms. We conduct extensive experiments to show the effectiveness of the proposed method. The experimental results show that the proposed method improves precision by up to 102% for the TREC-6 data compared with the existing query expansion method using a thesaurus proposed by Kwon et al.

In this paper, I introduce the development of a system to register Korean standard technical terms which are corresponded with English electronical terminologies on the Electropedia of the International Electronical Committee(IEC). In 2016, this project was started with the permission of registration at the Technical Committee 1 of the $80^{th}$ IEC General Meeting in Frankfurt, Germany. The work was consisted of 3 parts, the 1st step was gathering Korean vocabularies and building a databse for the translation of English terms of International Electronical Vocabulary(IEV) into Korean terms, the 2nd step was to find correct or proper Korean term which is in accord with each English term of IEV on the Electropedia. In this step, members of Korean TC 1 worked for search proper Korean terms using developed computer programs and databases which were made of Korean electronical dictionaries. After selection of proper terms, they did the cross-checking work for Korean terms each other. The last step was to register all of these Korean terms on the Electropedia. As a result, 20,766 Korean electronical terms were registered on the Electropedia in 2017. In the future, it is needed that the definition of English technical terms are translated into Korean.

지식정보사회에서 컴퓨터교육의 중요성은 날로 증가하고 있으며, 이제 컴퓨터는 하나의 필수도구처럼 인식되고 있으나 컴퓨터교육의 주요 매체인 컴퓨터 교과서에 대한 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구는 충청북도 내 초등학생 4.5.6학년 학생들을 대상으로 컴퓨터 교과서에서 사용되는 주요 용어에 대한 이해 수준을 파악하고 개인 변인에 따른 이해 수준의 차이를 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 용어에 대한 학생들의 이해 수준은 전반적으로 낮은 것으로 밝혀졌으며, 개인 변인 중 지역, 학년, 컴퓨터 소유 여부, 과거 컴퓨터교육의 경험 유무, 컴퓨터 수업 진행 형태, 컴퓨터 수업의 호응도, 컴퓨터 수업의 참여도, 성적 수준 등에 따라서 용어의 이해 수준에 대해 유의미한 차이가 발견되었다.

In this paper, we analyze and compare the performance of different publish and subscribe protocols in the real application environment. This paper provides a horizontal comparison of current publish/subscribe protocols in terms of security, throughput, and delay performance. Thanks to the use of lightweight frameworks, the MQTT protocol has demonstrated excellent performance in terms of delay performance. However, the AMQP protocol has more advantages in security and throughput. Although the REST/HTTP protocol has the worst delay performance, it is excellent in terms of compatibility because it is based on the HTTP protocol.

용어추출은 도메인 텍스트 모음으로부터 도메인 용어 목록을 인식하는 작업이다. 용어추출의 기존 효과적인 방법들은 비교사 방식으로 동작하며, 후보 용어 집합을 추출하는 작업과 후보 용어에 용어중요도를 할당하는 작업을 주요 단계로 포함한다. 후보 용어의 용어중요도 계산과 관련하여 본 논문에서는 후보 용어의 내부 및 외부용어집합을 활용한다. 내부용어집합은 후보 용어에 포함된 다른 짧은 용어들의 집합이며, 외부용어집합은 후보 용어가 포함된 다른 긴 용어들의 집합이다. 본 논문에서는 후보 용어의 내부 혹은 외부용어집합으로부터 후보 용어의 용어 강도를 계산하는 다양한 강도 함수들을 제시하고, 이들 용어 강도 값들과 C-value 점수를 결합하는 용어중요도 계산 방법을 소개한다. 생물학 및 전산언어학 분야 영어 데이터셋을 사용한 성능 평가에서는 제안된 방법의 용어추출 성능을 비교하고 분석한다. 제안된 방법은 생물학 및 전산언어학 분야 데이터셋에 대해 각각 최대 1%와 3% 차이의 성능 향상을 보였다.

본 연구에서는 기존 워드넷에 등록되지 않은 IT 전문 용어와 같은 신규 용어들을 웹 검색을 사용하여 워드넷에 추가 시켜 확장시키는 설계를 하였다. 워드넷은 단어 간의 관계를 표현하는 어휘 사전이지만 일반적인 단어들로 구성되어 있고 새로이 등장하는 전문 용어는 포함하지 않는 경우가 많아 이러한 용어들을 새로이 워드넷에 등록함으로써 워드넷을 확장해야 한다. 이 작업은 웹 검색 결과를 분석하여 이 용어와 관련 깊은 용어들을 찾아서 워드넷에 없는 용어들을 워드넷에 추가시킴으로써 이루어 진다. 웹 검색 결과 문서를 형태소 분석기를 사용하여 가중치가 높은 순으로 관련 단어들을 찾고 이들 중 워드넷에 등록되어 있는 단어를 찾아 해당 단어의 하의어로 신규 단어의 위치를 배치시킨다.

Selection procedures are proposed for selecting the 'best' industrial process with the smallest fraction defective. For normally distributed industrial processes, this is equivalent to selecting in terms of coefficients of variation. For the case of known vairances, selection procedures by Bechhofer (1954), and Bechhofer and Turnball (1978) are appropriate. We treat this problem for the case of uknown variances with or without reference to a standard. The large sample solutions of design constants are tabulated and the performance of these approximate solutions are investigated.

This paper presents a new approach to the synthesis of two-dimensional arrays such as Atmel 6000 series FPGAs using internal don't cares. Basically complex terms which fits to the linear array of cells without further routing wires are generated and they are collected by OR/XOR operations. In previous methods, complex terms are collected only by XOR operations, which may not be effective for nearly unate functions. In this paper, we allow complex terms to be collected by OR operations in addition to XOR operations. First, complex terms that lies in the ON-set of the function are generated and collected by OR operations. The sub-function realized by the first stage becomes an internal don't cares and they are exploited in the second stage which generates complex terms collectable by XOR operation. Experimental results shows the efficacy of the proposed method compared to the previous methods.

In this paper, we try to explore basic factors that defines easy-to-learn programming language and easy-to-learn development environments for novice students who have not been exposed to computer programming language education. For these purpose, we investigate and analyze computer programming languages that are widely used in industrial environments, and present the summary and analyzed results. From the experimental results, most novice programmers understand computer programming languages in terms of procedural programming languages rather than in terms of functional programming languages or object oriented programming languages. Furthermore, we have found that, for effective education of basic level programming languages, factors of development environments are much more important than factors of programming paradigms that the computer programming languages are based on.
