  • 컴퓨터용어에 대한 약어들을 기존 사건관리 방법에서 벗어나 컴퓨터에 수록하여, 음성을 포함한 한글 및 영문풀이 조회, 추가등록, 삭제, 수정을 가능케 하여 어휘변화 및 의미파악에 신속히 대처하고, 영문, 한글 단어를 이용한 약어검색 기능과 시스템에서 임의로 문제를 출제, 학습자 수준을 측정해볼 수 있는 컴퓨터 보조학습(CAI)과 knowledge base 교체시 타분야에서 활용이 가능하도록 DB화한 약어 전문가체제로, 업무 활용자(학습자)와 컴퓨터 상호작용에 의한 개인차를 극복할 수 있도록 컴퓨터용어 약어 전자사전을 설계하였다.

  • 제7차 교육 개혁 후 초등학생들에게도 컴퓨터를 접할 수 있는 기회가 더 많이 주어졌다. 환경의 변화에 따라 초등학생들을 위한 컴퓨터 교육의 필요성이 대두되고, 개인 수준별 컴퓨터 수업이 필요하게 되었다. 현재 초등학생들을 위한 교육용 프로그램과 인터넷을 활용한 수업이 진행중이나 개인의 수준을 고려한 수업과는 거리가 멀기 때문에 본 논문에서는 초등학교 컴퓨터 수업의 활발한 진행과 개인별 수준을 고려한 수업을 위해 Push 기반 단계별 교육시스템을 제안하였다. 제안한 시스템은 Push 기술을 사용함으로써 능동적 학습참여와 개인별 수준을 고려한 수업이 가능하다는 면에서 7차 교육과정의 교육 목표에 맞는 시스템이라 할 수 있다.

Factor Analysis of Visual Literacy Influencing Diagram Understanding and Drawing in Computer Science Education

  • Recently, with the advent of the software-based society, many organizations have been providing software developing education, such as coding, to Computer Science majors and non-Computer Science majors. When implementing a program, teachers can let students draw a variety of diagrams, such as flowcharts, UML diagrams, and ERD diagrams ahead. As the importance of computational thinking is increasingly emphasized, abstracting algorithms into diagrams is considered an important educational element. In this paper, we examined the visual literacy and abstract/concrete way of thinking of novice programmers in order to analyze factors affecting the abstraction process of drawing diagrams, and how they influence students' ability to understand diagrams and ability to draw. If we understand what factors influence the abstraction process in this study, we can suggest educational alternatives for future strategies in which teachers will teach students.

Analysis of Computer Scientific Attitude of Information Gifted Students in the University of Science Education Institute for Gifted (대학교부설 과학영재교육원의 정보영재 학생들의 컴퓨터 과학적 태도 분석)

  • There are 27 science education institutes for gifted education institutes in the university with support from the MSIT (Ministry of Science and ICT). Mathematics, physics, chemistry, biology, earth sciences, and information classes are given in each science education institute for the gifted. The authors developed a curriculum with components of computing thinking for information-gifted students. To determine if the curriculum is effective on the computer scientific attitude of the information gifted, TOSRA was modified and the test was then developed. Information students were educated at K university's science education institute for the gifted with the developed curriculum for one year and the computer scientific attitude of them was tested. According to the test results, there was a significant difference in the computer scientific attitude of the curriculum conducted at the institute at 0.05 level of significance. Statistically significant differences were observed in the social implications of computer science, attitudes of computer scientific inquiry, and the normality of computer technicians at the level of significance of 0.05. On the other hand, there were no significant differences in the adoption of computer scientific attitudes, the enjoyment of computer science lessons, leisure interest in computer science, and career interest in computer science.

  • Web provides a new instruction and learning method to get the interactive learning for people. But it is not efficient for the interaction of the education resources in the Web, and also it is difficult for the accommodative instruction to the learners who need suitable level for themselves. Therefore this thesis proposes web-based instruction system by agent technology that enables to increase the interaction, not losing their own way and learning by level, when the learners have instruction with using of web.

  • The grade-schooler could develope computer literacy education with the Peer tutoring system which is method of one higher level learner can teach and help another learner. This system can hold the result in common each other, also a progress to get the successful result. Moreover, they do the project in cooperation. After the application of the peer tutoring, the basic of computer ability increase in quality. We have side-effects which are increased the interest of computer function after real teach and learning process. And we get good atmosphere which is confidence each other and helping mood in studying another school work. If this study should process changed form, it will be developed more regular system than this study.

  • The digital textbook project which embarked by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has focused on experiments and practices from the school designated by the government. However the previous research about digital textbook provides static interaction models and teaching-learning models analogous to web-based learning based desktop PC even the framework of the digital textbook is based of Tablet PC. This paper provides learning and teaching models for next generation digital textbook which based digital inking techinques for sketcth interface and AR(augmented reality) interactions between teacher and learner. The proposed method of this paper is applied to educational contents and we found positive effect which is supported by statistical experiments. The results of this study in the future and the future development of digital textbooks in effect will be an effective development plan.

  • The 7th curricula of computer education as a general subject for secondary schools in Korea has relatively stressed on the application softwares as a learning tools. Such approach might be very successful in terms of ICT literacy education, but it is not enough to teach fundamental concepts and principles of information technologies and computer science and it has also limitation to apply such knowledge to expand students' intellectual capabilities. Therefore, in this paper we first investigates the reason of introducing computer science principle education according to IT fluency and show appropriate direction of computer education curricula for secondary schools.

  • 서비스를 기반으로 하지 않은 기존의 그리드 환경에서 병렬 작업 처리를 위한 그리드 어플리케이션은 여래 개의 노드에서 병렬적으로 동일한 작업을 수행하였지만, 웹서비스가 통할된 서비스 기반의 그리드 환경에서는 선형 워크플로우가 여러 개의 서비스 노드에 걸쳐 수행된다. 그러므로 그리드 어플리케이션의 수행 속도 항상을 위해서는 서비스와 서비스 간의 관계를 고려하여야 한다. 그러나 그리드 자원이 각 관리영역마다 이질적이고 그리드 자원의 상태가 동적이어서 그리드 어플리케이션의 성능을 예측하기는 어렵다. 또한 서비스 기반의 그리드 컴퓨팅 환경에서는 사용자의 QoS(Quality of Service)를 보장하여 사용자의 요구 사항을 만족시킬 수 있어야 하기 때문에 사용자 요구에 미달하는 성능 저하와 같은 결함이 발생하였을 경우 이에 대처할 수 있는 방법이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 서비스 기반 그리드 컴퓨팅 환경의 특징을 반영하는 워크플로우 관리 시스템의 구조를 설계하고 서비스 수행 성능을 예측하기 위한 서비스 특성에 관한 모델링과 적응적 스케쥴링 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 적응적 스케쥴링 기법에서는 서비스 간의 관계를 고려하기 위해 최대 흐름 알고리즘(Maximum-Flow Algorithm)을 이용하는 방법과 사용자의 QoS에 대한 수행성능을 보장하기 위해 서비스의 성능 저하 시에 발생하는 결항을 포용할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.
