  • The present study purposed to design a system that enables the selection and the operation of OPC systems actively while allowing the use of legacy systems as they are. In addition, this study will design a standardized structure of information collected when using OPC protocol and, for this, use not only OPC-DA but also OPC-XMLDA to integrate data.

  • It is essential to develop the internetworking strategies between the OBP satellite B-ISDN and the terrestrial B-ISDN for the economical and efficient implementation of the future network infrastructure. We have considered the implementation issues of the emerging B-ISDN, especially interworking strategies of the terrestrial B-ISDN with the OBP satellite B-ISBN. We proposed interworking model between terrestrial B-ISDN and OBP satellite B-ISDN NNI signaling protocol, and describes the design and verification of the interworking protocol. For the verification, interworking protocol is modeled by Predicate/Action Net derived from Petri Net and the designed model is analyzed by reachability tree. Using Unix socket, the verified interworking protocol is implemented in two workstations and implemented interworking protocol is tested by local test method which is outstanding in error detection and recommended by ISO.

  • A neuro-fuzzy based circuit to recognize circuit pat-terns is proposed in this paper. The simple algorithm and exemption from the use of template patterns as well as multipliers enable the proposed circuit to implement on the hardware of an economical scale. Furthermore, thanks to the circuit design by using current-mode techniques, the proposed circuit call achieve easy extendability of tile circuit and efficient pattern recognition with high-speed. The validity of the proposed algorithm and tile circuit design is confirmed by computer simulations. The proposed pattern recognition circuit is integrable by a standard CMOS technology.

  • 본 논문에서는 21세기에 인재양성에 필요한 학습능력의 동향을 알아보고 전통적 교육에서 스마트 교육으로 변화함에 따라 스마트 러닝 교수설계 모형을 제안하고자 한다. 21세기 사회는 지식기반사회, 지식정보사회 등 '지식'이 핵심 키워드라 할 수 있다. 기존의 전통적 지식과 21세기에 필요한 학습능력을 통합하여 디지털 교과서, 온라인 수업, 클라우드 교육 서비스, 스마트 교육환경의 콘텐츠와 교수학습 모형을 융합하는 새로운 교수설계 모형이 필요하며 지속적인 연구가 필요하다.

  • Low voltage actuation and high isolation characteristics are key features to be solved in electrostatic RF switch design. Since these parameters in the conventional parallel plate MEMS switch design are in trade-off relation, both requirements cannot be met simultaneously. In vertical comb design, however, the actuation voltage is independent to the vertical separation distance between the contact electrodes. Then, we can design the large separation distance between contact electrodes to get high isolation. We have designed an RF MEMS switch which has -40dB isolation at 5 GHz and 6 V operation voltages. The characteristics of the fabricated switch are being evaluate.

  • The survival game is characterized by the ability to survive until the item is collected and the game is completed at the specified time, and the inventory function to store the item is the core of the game. Typical survival games include 'Don't Starve', 'H1Z1', and 'Lust'. The purpose of this paper is to design a 2.5D survival game that can be enjoyed by the smart device using Unity 3D engine. Because it is designed as a mobile platform, designing light inventory function using two lists rather than existing inventory function makes it easier to design than existing inventory and light design suitable for mobile. In general, it is characterized by designing a mobile game so that it does not depend on the place of the survival game.

  • Redesign of the mounting system to minimize vibration of a variable displacement engine through computer simulation is considered. A three degree of freedom model is established for an in-line four-cylinder automobile engine with a three point mounting system. The engine mount locations and angles, and isolator sizes are chosen as design parameters. Constraints on isolator deformations and design parameters are imposed. The gradient projection method is utilized for optimization. Simulation studies show significant vibration reduction can be obtained especially at idling speed.

  • In this paper, we design and implement a surveillance robot to detect an intruder in an empty office. We use a TMO-Linux kernel for a real-time surveillance and use a X-Bot platform for a robot. We design and implement an image server to process images and to detect an intruder. And we design and implement a client to communicate with a image server and TMO server and control a camera on a surveillance robot.

  • Recently, high accuracy and high precision are required in various industrial fields that are composed of semiconductor manufacturing apparatus and ultra precision positioning apparatus and information system and so on. The positioning technology is a very important one among them. This technology has been rapidly developed, its field needs for positioning accuracy to high as submicron. It is expected that accuracy with 10 nm in precision working and accuracy with 1 nm in ultra precision working are reached at the beginning of 2000s. Recently, to accomplish this positioning technology, many researches are concerned about it and make efforts it. This paper contain design technology of ultra precision 2-axis(X-Y Delta) stage for materialize to positioning accuracy with submicron, where, Delta stage is design as optimum against load and disturbance. And computer simulation is performed for stability and dynamic characteristic of Delta stage.

  • In this paper, we studied on the design of elliptic digital filters using the bilinear z transformation method, and proposed a design procedure satisfying prescribed specifications. The magnitude characteristics of digital filters are compared with its of analog filiters by computer simulation. Finaly we considered the quantization effects of digital filters. In cascader realization of fixed-point digital filters under dynamic range constraints, the outpout noise for IIR digital filters depends on the pole-zero pairing and ordering of the second order sections. Therfore an optmization procedure to finding a good ordering and pairing is very desirable. Thus, we proposed a sub-optimization procedure for finding "near optimal" solution.
