The target of this work was the process development of demonstration plant to produce the high quailty alternative fuel oil by the pyrolysis of mixed plastic waste. In the first step of research, the bench-scale units of 70t/y and the pi lot plant of 360 t/v had been developed. Main research contents in this step were the process performance test of pilot plant ot 360ton/year and the development of demonstration plant of 3 000 t/y which was constructed at Korea R & D Company in Kimjae City. The process performance of pilot plant of 360 t/v showed components in PONA group appeared at between that of commercial gasoline and kerosene. On the other hand, HO product was mainly paraffin and olefin components and also appeared at upper temperature distribution range than commercial diesel. Gas product showed a high fraction of $C_3\;and\;C_4$ product like LPG composition, but also a high fraction of $CO_2$ and CO by probably a little leak of process.

The optimization of Omija-pyun as a traditional dessert, with the most European taste and year round availability, was studied with regard to its texture. The response surface methodology was used to determine the optimal composition of Omija-pyun as a European style dessert. The texture, including the springiness, gumminess, cohesiveness, adhesiveness, hardness and chewiness, was measured using TPA parameters (TA-HD Texture Analyser, stable micro system, UK). The texture of Omija-pyun was influenced by pectin and sucrose to the first linear order. The properties of springiness and adhesiveness were influenced by pectin x pectin to the second quadratic order. No cross product effects between ingredients were found from the analysis. The maximum springiness was obtained with 42g of pectin, 450g of sucrose, 110g of glucose syrup and 4.8g of tartaric acid. The maximum chewiness was with 55g of pectin, 330g of sucrose, 140g of glucose syrup and 5.7g of tartaric acid. The maximum adhesiveness was achieved using 17g of pectin and 400g of sucrose. The gumminess and hardness increased with increasing pectin content, and a cross product effect was observed(Eds note: you said earlier that no cross product effects between the ingredients was found\ulcorner) between sucrose and glucose syrup.

This study analyzed 214 sports knee braces found on Chinese websites between October 2022 and November 2022 to assess product type (impact protection material, fastening method, and protection method), material composition, size, weight, and main characteristics. The product type was further categorized according to (1) use of hard guard and soft guard protection method; (2) cover type, strap type, and slip-on type fastening method; and (3) pressure type and support type protection method. It also noted the physical shock protection materials used, including foam (EVA or polyurethane) attached to joints as a buffer material and plastic (TPU or PP) that protects the user's knee from external impacts. The study found that the materials that primarily comprise sports knee braces are a combination of nylon, polyester, and neoprene. Additionally, it found that most sports knee braces available on the market are available in three sizes based on knee circumference: M (35-38cm), L (38-41cm), and XL (41-44cm), while some products are available in one size only. Furthermore, the majority of the 214 products studied weighed 200g, followed by 1,000g. Finally, in terms of product characteristics, many sports knee braces utilize ring-shaped silicone pads to distribute the load pressure on the knees or incorporate sturdy adhesive velcro to improve knee stability.

Kombucha, a fermented beverage, is gaining popularity due to its numerous beneficial health effects. Various substrates such as herbs, fruits, flowers, and vegetables, have been used for kombucha fermentation in order to enhance the flavor, aroma, and nutritional composition. This study aims to investigate the potential suitability of cascara as a novel ingredient for kombucha production. Our findings suggested that cascara is a suitable substrate for kombucha production. Fermentation elevated the total phenolic and flavonoid content in cascara, which enhanced the antioxidant, antibacterial, and prebiotic characteristics of the product. Furthermore, the accumulation of acetic acid-induced the pH lowering reached 2.7 after 14 days of fermentation, which achieved the microbiological safety of the product. Moreover, 14 days of fermentation resulted in a balanced amalgamation of acidity, sweetness, and fragrance according to sensory evaluation. Our findings not only highlight the potential of cascara kombucha as a novel substrate for kombucha production but also contribute to repurposing coffee by-products, promoting environmentally friendly and sustainable agricultural development.

Let G be a connected graph. A pebbling move on a graph G is the movement of taking two pebbles off from a vertex and placing one of them onto an adjacent vertex. The pebbling number f(G) of a connected graph G is the least n such that any distribution of n pebbles on the vertices of G allows one pebble to be moved to any specified, but arbitrary vertex by a sequence of pebbling moves. In this paper, the pebbling numbers of the compositions of two graphs are computed.

Purpose of this paper is to accummulate database of automotive steel sheet from mild steel to high strength steel in cold rolled steel sheets. Physical properties, mainly mechanical properties, of steel sheet are tested and all data are arranged to one sheet. Methods of test are composed of FLD, tensile strength test, chemical composition, surface roughness and product conditions. Finally this database will be helpful to automotive body designers and die designers to design automotive body parts and tools in a material point of view.

In this note, we show that various Hilbert C(sup)*-algebra tensor products provide the analogous roles when independence is weakened to conditional independence.

Most consumers have noted hair damage following coloring treatments. Proper evaluation of hair bleaching products must be performed using quantitative assessments of hair damage, though they are difficult, because of the slight fluctuations in hair composition. In the present study, we utilized a sensitive evaluation method for hair damage and found that the amount of soluble protein fraction extracted from hair under a reducing condition, termed labile protein, dramatically increased after bleaching.(omitted)

In this work, the irreducible complex representations of degree 4 of $B_4$, the braid group on 4 strings, are classified. There are 4 families of representations: A two-parameter family of representations for which the image of $P_4$, the pure braid group on 4 strings, is abelian; two families of representations which are the composition of an irreducible representation of $B_3$, the braid group on 3 strings, with a certain special homomorphism $\pi : B_4 \longrightarrow B_3$; a family of representations which are the tensor product of 2 irreducible two-dimensional representations of $B_4$.

The BSCCO superconductor materials of using Self-propagating High-temperature Synthesis (SHS) were studied. Mechano-chemical activation - as a pre-treatment of the reactants mixture - strongly influences the kinetic parameters, the reaction mechanism, and the composition and structure of the final product. In this paper as an effort for fabricating the SHSed BSCCO superconductor powder SHS method was considered to application in the synthesis of superconducting materials.
