  • In this paper, using fuzzy complex valued functions and fuzzy complex valued fuzzy measures ([11]) and interval-valued Choquet integrals ([2-6]), we define Choquet integral with respect to a fuzzy complex valued fuzzy measure of a fuzzy complex valued function and investigate some basic properties of them.

  • In this paper, we introduce the notion of p-distance in a complex uncertain sequence space. By using the concepts of p-distance, we give some theorems of convergence. Also, in a complex uncertain sequence space, we develope some properties on convergence in measure.

Grain Size Dependence of Ionic Conductivity of Polycrystalline Doped Ceria

  • Conductivities of polycrystalline ceria doped with several rare earth oxides were measured by AC admittance and DC four probe method. The conductions were separated into grain and grain boundary contributions using the complex admittance technique as well as grain size dependence of conductivity. The grain size dependence of polycrystalline conductivity, which can be adequately described by the so-called brick layer model, appears to give a more reliable measure of the grain conductivity compared to the complex admittance method. Polycrystalline resistivity(1/conductivity) increases linearly with the reciprocal of grain size. The intercept of resistivity vs. inverse grain size plot gives a measure of the grain resistivity and the slope gives a measure of the grain boundary resistivity. It was also noted that errors involved in the analysis of experimental data may be different between the complex admittance method and the impedance method. A greater resolution of the spectra was found in the complex admittance method, insofar as the present work is concerned, suggesting that the commonly used equivalent circuit may require re-evaluation.

  • 두 확률변수의 연관성을 측정하는 측도는 많이 있으나, 이러한 측도는 같은 유형인 변수들 간의 관계를 측정하기 위한 것으로 여러 가지 유형의 변수들이 혼재되어 있는 혼합자료에서 사용하기는 곤란하다 본 논문에서는 두 확률변수의 독립성 검정을 통해 구한 p-값으로 혼합자료에서 사용될 수 있는 새로운 연관성 측도를 구하였으며, 이렇게 구하여진 연관성 측도가 혼합자료에서 변수들 간의 연관성을 비교하는데 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 보였다.

  • Scientific involvement in complex decision-making system, characterized by multicriteria phenomena and fuzziness inherent in the structure of information, requires suitable methods. Especially, when powerful dependent criteria are introduced and their weighted value structure is ignorant, the systems are become more complex. This paper presents a fuzzy dependenced relation model and fuzzy measure model for this kind of multicriteria decision-making. The model we propose is based on fuzzy relation and fuzzy measure in fuzzy systems theory. For the application of the model, a numdrical example is quoted.

  • Let ${\gamma}{\equiv}\left{{\gamma}_{ij}\right}(0{\leq}i+j{\leq}2n)$ be a collection of complex numbers with ${\gamma}_{00}>0$ and ${\gamma}_{ji}={\bar{\gamma}}_{ij}$. The truncated complex moment problem for ${\gamma}$ entails finding a positive Borel measure ${\mu}$ supported in the complex plane ${\mathbb{C}}$ such that ${\gamma}_{ij}={\int}{\bar{z}}^{i}z^jd{\mu}(z)(0{\leq}i+j{\leq}2n)$. We solve this truncated moment problem with data in a circle and discuss the behavior of data in an extended moment matrix.

  • Materials used at microwave are usually used as a dielectric with a manufacturing purpose of printed circuit boards, etc. Complex permittivity of them can be measured from attenuation constant or propagation constant of a transmission line using a microstrip line with bulk type. But as the technique recently which can manufacture to have complex permittivity and permeability demanded using nonferrous metals for powder-type grows up, we need sensors and methods which can measure characteristics of powder-type materials. So far measuring methods of permittivity and permeability with waveguide or coaxial cable are used but they have faults which have a complex measurement method and are difficult to simultaneously measure permittivity and permeability. In this paper, a simultaneous measuring method of permittivity and permeability with 2-port coaxial cable and a new proposed calculation. The proposed 2-port coaxial cable is designed to be easy to insert materials and to have a wideband. We measure permittivity and permeability of magnetic powder(Ni-Fe-Mo, Ni-Fe) which reveal its characteristic at $0.3{\sim}1.3GHz$ to identify the proposed sensor.

  • As weapon systems are becoming advanced and intelligent, they are designed to have such events like ejecting sub-munitions. So it is continually requested to measure the event time and position exactly. We can measure the event time and position by analyzing the complex signal of the instrumentation radar in the time domain and can also obtain the spin rate of the target by analyzing the complex signal in the frequency domain.
