The college liberal arts mathematics is opened as a required course in science and engineering field, but students with low achievement experience difficulty in learning. Therefore, flip learning, which is well known as an effective teaching method based on self-led and learner, is suggested as an alternative. However, some problems are pointed out in this pedagogy. As an alternative to flip learning, we apply flip PBL classes that apply PBL to flip learning to general math subjects to supplement the problems of existing flip learning classes and increase interest in mathematics I want to know the effectiveness of whether it can be done. In this study, we investigated the educational effectiveness of the comparison study between the experimental group applying flip PBL class and the control group applying the existing flip learning class. First, the experimental group showed higher than the control group by 22 points Second, in the reflection journal analysis, in contrast to the control group, there was a positive effect on the improvement of the interest of the mathematics in the experimental group, It is expected that it will be applied as a teaching method that can complement the learning.
The purposes of this study were to compare the sensitivities of two tests, QST(quantitative sensory test)and PPG(photoplethysmography) in normal adults. We evaluated the sensory thresholds of QST and PPG and diabetes mellitus test in 17 normal adults. The finding of this study can be summarized as follow :The diagnostic sensitivities of QST was similar to PPG. There is a direct correlation between the amount of Blood sugar and parasympathetic nerve in ANS. Concluded that the QST might be complement to NCS for early of diabetic polyneuropathy. A new diagnostic approach, QST was introduced and exploited for diagnosis. This study provides support for PPG performed a ANS analysis.
In order to enumerate the T-lymphocytes in bovine peripheral blood lymphocytes (PBL) by E rosette assay, KGRBC were treated with various concentrations of 2-aminoethylisothiouronium bromide(AET) and dextran(Dex), singly or in combination. To further standardize the assay, optimum concentration of AET- and/or Dex-treatment and incubation time for rosette forming cell(RFC) counts were determined. The levels of B-lymphocytes in the PBL were evaluated by erythzocyte-antibody($EA_{Fc}$)- and erythrocyte-antibody-complement (EAC)-rosetting techniques. The results obtained were as follows; The PBL from 20 clinically normal Korean cattle were formed as low percentage of spontaneous E-rosette ($6.7{\pm}2.4%$) in control group, whereas in KGRBC treated with 0.1M AET for 20 minutes and 8% Dex were formed as $37.3{\pm}2.7%$ and $45.1{\pm}2.1%$, respectively. And the synergistic effects were noted no less than $66.5{\pm}5.6%$ when the KGRBC treated with 0.1M AET and 8% Dex subsequently and rate of RFR did not change significantly between 3~24 hours incubation time at $4^{\circ}C$, EA-and EAC-RFR were $23.3{\pm}9.1%$ and $23.1{\pm}7.9%$, respectively. These results suggest that the KGRBC would be a useful agent for the enumeration of T-lymphocytes by E rosette assay and B-lymphocytes by EA- or EAC-rosette assay in cattle-PBL.

Tactile displays can provide useful information without disturbing others and are particularly useful for people with visual or auditory impairments. They can also complement other displays. In this paper, we present a new vibrotactile display device for wearable, mobile, and ubiquitous computing environments. The proposed vibrotactile device has a $5{\times}5$ array configuration for displaying complex information such as letters, numbers, and haptic patterns as well as simple directional ques and situation awareness alarms. Commercially available coin-type vibration motors are embedded vertically in flexible mounting pads in order to best localize vibrations on the skin. An embedded microprocessor controls the motors sequentially with an advanced tracing mode to increase recognition rate. User studies with the vibrotactile device on the top of the foot show 86.7% recognition rate for alphabet characters after some training. In addition, applying vibrotactile device to driving situation shows 83.9% recognition rate. We also propose some potentially useful application scenarios including Caller Identification for mobile phones and Navigation Aids for GPS systems while driving.
Recently, the number of hacking, that use buffer overflow vulnerabilities, are increasing. Although the buffer overflow Problem has been known for a long time, for the following reasons, it continuos to present a serious security threat. There are three defense method of buffer overflow attack. First, allow overwrite but do not allow unauthorized change of control flow. Second, do not allow overwriting at all. Third, allow change of control flow, but prevents execution of injected code. This paper is for allowing overwrites but do not allow unauthorized change of control flow which is the solution of extending compiler. The previous defense method has two defects. First, a program company with overhead because it do much thing before than applying for the method In execution of process. Second, each time function returns, it store return address in reserved memory created by compiler. This cause waste of memory too much. The new proposed method is to extend compiler, by processing after compiling and linking time. To complement these defects, we can reduce things to do in execution time. By processing additional steps after compile/linking time and before execution time. We can reduce overhead.
This study was conducted to assess the nutritional status of the elderly from low income areas and its relationship with the indices of immunity. Ninety nine(male : 28, female : 71) healthy, subjects aged over 65 years staying in homes in Seoul were assessed with regard to their dietary intake and biochemical measurements. Their mean daily energy intakes were 1256kcal and 109kcal for males and females respectively. Mean serum IgG were 2356mg/dl in men and 2161mg/dl for women, higher than the normal range. Mean serum $C_3$ were 120.9mg/dl and 130.6mg/dl for males and females respectively and mean $C_4$ were 30.6mg/dl and 31.9mg/dl. The mean $C_3$ and $C_4$ were within the normal range and the proportion of subjects whose $C_3$ and $C_4$ were at a higher level than the upper limit were 15.4$\%$ and 16.3$\%$ respectively. Complement $C_3$ showed significant correlation with serum albumin(p〈0.01), serum cholesterol(p〈0.00l, serum TG(p〈0.05), LDL-C(p$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$$\ll$q0.001), VLDL-C(p$\ll$0.05), serum copper(p$\ll$0.05) and serum Ca(p$\ll$0.01). These expriments were carried out to investigate existence of H-Y antibody in the rat serum immunized against H-Y antigen from rat spleen cells and effect of H-Y antiserum on development of mouse male embryos. The results obtained were summerized as follows : 1. When mouse embryos were cultured for 48∼72 hrs in the Ham's F10 containing 16% of FBS(fetal bovine serum) or RNS(rat normal serum), percentages of embryos developed from 2, 4, 8 and 16-cell embryo to morulae were 20, 27, 94 and 100%, respectively, in FBS and 8, 7, 94 and 100%, respectively, in RNS. Eight to 16-cell embryos showed no difference in development rate between FBS adn RNS. 2. When 8∼16-cell mouse embryos were cultured for 24∼48 hrs in the Ham's F10 containing FBS, RNS+GPC(guinea pig complement) and RAS(rat antiserum)+GPC, proportions of embryos developed to the expanded blastocyst stage were 100, 82.4 and 52.1∼53.6%(ave.52.9), respectively, so that it was suggested that rat antiserum suppressed development of male embryos. 3. When 8∼16-cell mouse embryos were cultured for 24∼48 hrs in the Ham's F10 containing FBS, RNS, RNS+GPC and RAS+GPC, proportions of embryos developed to the expanded blastocyst stage were 94.5, 90.9, 82.3 and 47%, respectively, and the embryos developed in the medium containing RAS+GPC seemed to be female. These results indicated that the antisera prepared through immunized against H-Y antigen from rat spleen cell, possessed H-Y antibody which supressed development of male embryos.

The IEEE 802.1x standard provides an architectural framework which can be used various authentication methods. But, IEEE 802.1x also has vulnerabilities about the DoS(Denial of Service), the session hijacking and the MiM(Man in the Middle) attack due to caused by structural of authentication protocol. In this paper, we propose a WLAN system which can offer safety communication by complement of IEEE 802.1x vulnerabilities. The WLAN system accomplishes mutual authentications between authentication servers, clients and the AP using PKI and prevents an illegal user from intervening in communication to disguise oneself as a client, the AP or authentication servers. Also, we guarantee the safety of the communication by the Dynamic WEP key distribution between clients and the AP.

One of the treatments and preventions of strokes such as ischemic stroke is to increase cerebral blood flow. This aims to minimize the size of the stroke by increasing the quantity of blood to the cerebral region circuitously. Several ways to increase cerebral blood flow are a therapy though drugs and through surgery. However these invasive method giving a burden to the patient, the problem of inducing a number of complications were noted. In this thesis, we propose a non-invasive brain flow enhancer to complement the disadvantages of such invasive treatment methods. To compensate for the shortcomings of the existing devices, the patient's blood pressure is accurately measured and the blood pressure is applied to the extremities, thereby increasing blood flow to the femoral region to produce blood clotting treatments. Although somewhat inadequate blood flow increases compared to conventional devices, blood flow can be significantly increased, which can be selectively.

Treatment for cerebral blood flows is one of the most important treatments for cerebral infarction. There is a concern that the increasing number of cerebral blood flow treatments can cause multiple complications as it is invasive. To compensate for these problems, recently non-invasive cerebral blood flow increases have emerged. However, the current implementation of the non-invasive cerebral blood flow sensor raises the question of speed and accuracy. In this theses, the system aims to minimize the final cortical damage to the cerebrum by implementing a system in a completely different manner to complement the disadvantages of the existing non-invasive cerebral blood flow device. The system measure the PI of the limbs while simultaneously pressing limbs. Blood flow rate is carried out indirectly by increasing blood flow to peer pressure through the limbs in which the PI eips below a certain level. This can be used selectively in patients to increase blood flow.
