  • This study aims to introduce a model for enhancing community well-being through the utilization of public open data. To objectively assess abstract notions of residential satisfaction, text data from complaints is analyzed. By leveraging accessible public data, costs related to data collection are minimized. Initially, relevant text data containing civic complaints is collected and refined by removing extraneous information. This processed data is then combined with meaningful datasets and subjected to topic modeling, a text mining technique. The insights derived are visualized using Geographic Information System (GIS) and Application Programming Interface (API) data. The efficacy of this analytical model was demonstrated in the Godeok/Gangil area. The proposed methodology allows for comprehensive analysis across time, space, and categories. This flexible approach involves incorporating specific public open data as needed, all within the overarching framework.

중(中)·고등(高等) 학생(學生)들의 책상 및 의자(椅子)의 표준호식(標準號數) 사용여부(使用與否)와 통증(痛症) 호소율(呼訴率) (Pain Complaint according to Usage of Standard-Sized Desks and Chairs for Middle and High School Students)

  • 대구지역 중 고등학교 학생들의 학교 책상과 의자의 표준 호수 사용 여부와 그에 따른 신체적 자각 증상 호소율을 조사하기 위하여 1995년 3월 20일에서 4월 19일 사이에 대구지역내에 소재한 남.여, 중 고등학교 전학년 학생 1,201명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 중 고등학교 학생들이 사용하는 책상과 의자는 표준 호수보다 1~3호 정도 높은 것이 대부분이었으며, 희망 호수 역시 조금 높은 것을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 표준 호수를 사용하고 있는 학생은 책상 30.5%, 의자 21.0%였고. 표준호수보다 큰 호수를 사용하고 있는 경우는 책상 61.3%, 의자65.2% 였으며 표준 호수 보다 작은 경우는 각각 8.2%, 13.8%였다. 중학교의 표준 호수 사용율은 책상 44.1%, 의자 26.8%로 고등학교의 16.1% 및 14.7%보다 높았고, 남학생은 책상 31.5%, 의자 24.5%로 여학생의 29.6% 및 17.6%보다 높았다. 공립학교의 표준 호수 사용율은 책상 34.2%, 의자 24.5%로 사립학교의 27.1%, 및 17.5%보다 높은 편이지만 양군 모두 표준호수 사용율은 낮았다. 책상 사용시 가장 불편한 점으로는 낡았다, 서랍이 좁다, 낮다, 면이 고르지 않다의 순이었고. 의자 사용시 가장 불편한 점은 의자면이 딱딱하다, 등받이가 딱딱하다, 낡았다, 낮다, 높다, 면이 좁다의 순이었다. 책상 및 의자의 사용으로 인한 신체부위별 통증 호소율은 중학교 남.여학생에선 목 어깨 호소율이 각각 32.2%, 36.0%로 가장 높았고, 고등학교 남.여학생은 허리 호소율이 각각 37.9%, 44.1%로 가장 높았다. 신장이 증가할수록 허리 통증 호소율이 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 목 어깨 통중은 전반적으로 높게 호소했다. 책상 및 의자를 표준 호수로 사용활 경우 목 어깨 통증 호소율은 각각 25.4% 및 23.8%인데 비해 표준 호수보다 큰 책상이나 의자를 사용하는 경우는 각각 31.5% 및 31.8%로 호소율이 높았으며, 작은 경우 역시 26.5% 및 28.9%로 높았다. 표준 호수 보다 크거나 작은 책상 및 의자를 사용하는 경우에 비해 표준 호수를 사용할 경우 허리통증 호소율이 모두 낮았다. 대구지역 중 고등학교 학생들의 책상 및 의자의 표준 호수 사용율은 매우 낮았으며, 사용하는 책상과 의자 호수가 자신이 희망하는 호수와 많은 차이를 보이고 있으며, 이에 따른 신체 부위별 통증 호소율은 비교적 높게 나타났다. 따라서 학생들의 체격조건을 고려하여 책상과 의자를 구입, 배분하는데 최대한의 배려를 하여야 할 것이며, 표준호수와 선호도를 반영한 다양한 호수의 잉여책상과 의자의 보유비율을 높여야 할 것으로 생각한다.

임상소견에 따른 법랑모세포종의 방사선학적 특징에 관한 임상통계학적 분석 (CLINICO-STATISTICAL STUDY ON THE RADIOGRAPHIC FINDINGS BY THE CLINICAL FINDINGS OF 115 AMELOBLASTOMAS)

  • The author studied on the 115 cases of the ameloblastoma which had been diagnosed with biopsy during the period of 1962 to 1994 at the Kyungpook National University Hospital, Pusan National University Hospital, Youngnam University Hospital, Keimyung University Hospital, Catholic Medical School Hospital, and Maryknol Hospital. This study contains the statistical analysis of the clinico-pathological findings such as sex, age, location, chief complaint, duration,treatment method, size, recurrence and impacted teeth in relation to radiographic findings. The results were as follows : 1. The incidence rate was 60% in male and 40% in female. 2. At the time of diagnosis, the age of the patients ranged from 9 to 69 years old (average 31.4 years old). The cases of 73% were in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th decades of life. 3. The majority of cases, 88.7% occurred in the mandible, especially 59% in the mandibular angle area. 4. The most prevalent chief complaint of swelling was 56.5%. 5. As regards duration, the cases less than 12 months appeared 49.5%, and average duration is 30.45months. 6. Unilocular radiographic findings showed 43.5%, Multilocular radiographic findings appeared 56.5%. 7. Conservative treatment was performed 40.0%, and radical treatment was employed 60.0%. 8. There was the variation of lesional sizes between 2.0cm and 15cm, average size 6.19cm. 9. Recurrent cases were 28.7%, and impacted teeth were shown 30.43%. 10. The radiographic finding has no relationship with the factors of age, location, chief complaint, recurrence and impacted teeth, however there is slight indication that the below 30-year-old patient tend to be related to the multilocular type. 11. The multilocular radiographic findings were shown more frequently in the groups of females, over average of 30.45 months, over average size of 6.19cm and radical treatment.

악골에 발생한 양성 치성종양의 임상 및 방사선학적 연구 (CLINICAL AND RADIOGRAPHIC STUDY OF BENIGN ODONTOGENIC TUMORS IN THE JAWS)

  • The author observed and analyzed the age, sex, chief complaint and radiographic finding of sixty-one cases of benign odontogenic tumors seen in Yonsei Medical Center, for the period of Jan. 1979 to Aug. 1989. The results were as follows: 1. Benign odontogenic tumors of 61 cases included 52 cases (85.3%) of ameloblastoma and odontoma, and 9 cases of other lesions. Radiographically, the border of the lesions were well-defined. 2. Ameloblastoma constituting twenty-seven cases (44.3%) occurred the average age of 31.1 years and had a 3:1 male predominance. The most common complaint was swelling (20 cases, 74.0%) and followed by pain (13 cases, 48.2%). Radiographically, the most common site was mandibular body area (74.0%) and the lesions were mainly multiocular radiolucency; in 17 cases (63.0%) and unilocular radiolucent lesion were seen in 10 cases (37.0%). 16 cases (59.3%) showed the resorption of roots of adjacent teeth. 3. Odontoma constituting twenty-five cases (41.0%) discovered at the average age of 16.9 years and had a 3:2 male predominance. The most common complaint was delayed eruption of tooth (8 cases, 31.0%) and 7 cases (27.0%) detected on a routine radiograph of the area. Radiographically, 17 cases (68.0%) were of compound type and 8 were of complex variety and compound odontomas were common in the anterior maxilla, whereas complex odontomas occurred more frequently in the posterior mandible. 19 cases (76.0%) showed the impaction of adjacent teeth.

제조업의 생산직 근로자의 상지 근골격계 증상에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Musculoskeletal Symptoms of Manufacturing Workers)

  • This study aimed to examine the general characteristics of individual workers, psychosocial working environment, and ergonomic risk factors which affect the status of musculoskeletal disorders. Self-report was carried out for musculoskeletal symptoms and ergonomic risks in working environment in 856 production workers in 16 small to medium sized manufacturing companies. Musculoskeletal symptoms were examined with a standardized questionnaire, and ergonomic risks were evaluated with a qualitative self-administered instrument for the tasks related to musculoskeletal disorders. Major findings were as follows: 1) Complaint rate for musculoskeletal symptoms was higher in female, aged, married workers with longer working hours, less leisure/hobby activity, longer household working hours and history of disease or accident. 2) Complaint rate for musculoskeletal symptoms was significantly higher in workers with dissatisfaction, difficult tasks, and no self-control at work. 3) Complaint rate for musculoskeletal symptoms was significantly higher in workers involved in tasks with major ergonomic risk factors, and handling heavy equipment. 4) Explanatory power increased the model with the musculoskeletal symptoms as dependent variable and demographic variables, psychosocial working environment and ergonomic risk factors included, and total explanatory power of 18.6% revealed the significant effect. Based on the results, we can conclude that musculoskeletal symptoms in manufacturing workers are associated with individual demographic characteristics, psychosocial working environment and ergonomic risk factors.

생활 환경의 소음 측정을 위한 모바일 데이터 처리 시스템 (The mobile data processing system for noise measured in a living environment)

  • 우리나라의 대표적인 주거 형태는 공동 주택이다. 이로 인해 생활 소음과 관련된 민원 발생이 급증하고 있는 상태이다. 이에 실생활에서 주변 소음으로 인해 고통을 받는 경우에는 소음 측정기로 측정하여 민원을 제기할 수도 있다. 그러나 일반가정에서는 전문적인 장비를 동원해 소음 측정을 하기가 어렵기 때문에 간편하게 스마트폰 앱을 사용하는 경우가 많다. 기존에 출시된 소음 측정 앱은 동일한 조건에서 측정하여도 값이 다르게 나오는 등 정확도가 현저히 떨어지며, 실제 소음 측정을 위한 목적으로 사용하기가 어렵다. 따라서 본 논문은 스마트폰을 이용한 생활환경의 소음 측정을 위한 모바일 데이터 처리 시스템을 제안한다. 본 연구의 기대 효과는 장비가 없는 가정에서 간편한 소음 측정 및 소음이 발생된 방향을 추정하여 민원 처리의 자료로 활용할 수 있다.

대구지역 대학생의 신체자각증상 호소율 (The Complaining Rate of Physical Self -Consciousness Symptoms for College Students in Taegu, Korea)

  • This research was conducted to understand and analyze the physical awareness symptoms of college students and get fundamental research data essential to provide efficient student guidance and public health service at schools. The survey was carried out for 1 month from May 7th, 2001 to June 7th, 2001. The interviewees were 950 enrolled students at junior colleges in Daegu. 26.5% of them were men and 73.5% women. Among the surveyed, public health majors were 76.9%. Daytime students were 64.1 %, and the majority of the students, 42.8%, were atheistic. 56.0% of the students grew up in big cities, 22.2% in medium and small-sized cities, and 21.8% in farming and fishing communities. 66.1 % used public transportation. The majority of the students, 48.7%, answered that the satisfaction level for their majors was average. The result shows that the ocular fatigue was indicated as a greatest complaint, and the female students showed the higher complaint rate than the males. In the study of the complaining rate of physical symptoms by major, the public health majors showed the highest complaining rate in gasping when going up/down stairs, shoulder pain, a burning feeling on empty stomach, and leg/knee pain. On the other hand, the highest complaint factors for the technical majors were ocular fatigue and the feelings of heavy head. In the study of the complaining rate of physical symptoms by transportation, gasping during going up/down stairs and shoulder pain were most common, which were 52.2% and 36.0% respectively. In the study of the insecurity response distribution by transportation, college students who drive a car showed 3.8% and students using public transportation 3.7%. In the study of the insecurity response by subject satisfaction, students who answered dissatisfactory were 8.3%, average 3.9%, satisfied 3.0%. Therefore, it was concluded that students who were dissatisfied with their subjects showed the higher rate of insecurity response. it can be recommended that a school health education program regarding ocular fatigue and shoulder pain should be developed.

미슬토 추출물 투여와 병행한 한방치료를 통해 호전된 재발성 자궁경부상피내종양 증례보고 (A Case Report of Recurrent Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia Treated by Korean Traditional Medicine and Mistletoe Extract Inject)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study is to report the improvement of recurrent cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and chief complaint including dysmenorrhea, premenstrual syndrome after Korean medicine treatment. Methods: The patient who diagnosed CIN even after undergoing two times of loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) and complained dysmenorrhea with premenstrual syndrome was treated by acupuncture, moxibustion and herbal medicine as Ojeok-san-gami-bang along with mistletoe extract injection (Abnobaviscum®). The effect of treatment was evaluated by the results of liquid based cytology and HPV genotyping. Other symptoms were evaluated according to the patient's subjective complaint. Results: Before the treatment, the result of cytology was low grade squamous intraepithelial lesion and a low-risk group for HPV was detected. At the first examination after treatment, cytology showed negative for intraepithelial lesion or malignancy and the HPV genotyping was negative. The result showed negative findings in 3 consecutive follow-up tests. In addition, the chief complaint and general conditions were improved. Conclusion: This study shows that the recurrent cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) was improved after the Korean traditional treatment and it can be effective medical alternatives or options for patients receiving mistletoe injection during follow-up.

잠재적 차량 결함 탐지를 위한 비정형 고객불만 텍스트 데이터 분류 (Classification of Unstructured Customer Complaint Text Data for Potential Vehicle Defect Detection)

  • This research proposes a novel approach to tackle the challenge of categorizing unstructured customer complaints in the automotive industry. The goal is to identify potential vehicle defects based on the findings of our algorithm, which can assist automakers in mitigating significant losses and reputational damage caused by mass claims. To achieve this goal, our model uses the Word2Vec method to analyze large volumes of unstructured customer complaint data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). By developing a score dictionary for eight pre-selected criteria, our algorithm can efficiently categorize complaints and detect potential vehicle defects. By calculating the score of each complaint, our algorithm can identify patterns and correlations that can indicate potential defects in the vehicle. One of the key benefits of this approach is its ability to handle a large volume of unstructured data, which can be challenging for traditional methods. By using machine learning techniques, we can extract meaningful insights from customer complaints, which can help automakers prioritize and address potential defects before they become widespread issues. In conclusion, this research provides a promising approach to categorize unstructured customer complaints in the automotive industry and identify potential vehicle defects. By leveraging the power of machine learning, we can help automakers improve the quality of their products and enhance customer satisfaction. Further studies can build upon this approach to explore other potential applications and expand its scope to other industries.
