공급망에서 구매업체의 지식, 원가, 정보공유 활동이 공급업체의 공유활동과 신뢰에 미치는 영향 : 신뢰의 매개효과를 중심으로 (The Impact of Buyers' Sharing Activities of Knowledge, Cost and Information on Suppliers' Sharing Activities and Trust in Supply Chain : Focusing on the Mediating Effect of Trust)

  • The aim of this study is to analyze the effect of the growing activities of large purchasing enterprises on the trust of small and medium size contractors, which is mediated by 'purchase accompany activity'. This subject study includes the first and second contractor companies in Korea. The results of this study are as follow. First, the knowledge and cost price sharing activities of major purchase vendor with cooperative company had a positive effect on the trust of cooperative company, however this was not so with the information sharing activities in that case. Second, the trust of contractors on large purchasing enterprises was positively influenced by sharing activities with purchasing activities of major company. Third, the knowledge and cost price sharing activities of purchasing enterprise with contractors on the sharing activities were mediated by the trust of contracting company on the large purchase enterprise. According to this study, the mediated effect of trust relationship can influence a contracting company. Whereas preceding studies of sharing activities were conducted about unidirectional instruct of large purchase enterprises to small and medium size contracting companies, this study was conducted on bidirectional effects, which included knowledge, cost price, information sharing activities between contracting companies and large purchasing enterprises. Conclusively, this study showed the possibility of spreading cognitive and change about mutual benefits strategy between small and medium size contracting company and large purchasing enterprise.

인수합병(M&A) 이후 HR 활용: D사의 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on between Human Resource Management and Merger and Acquisition: The case of D company)

  • A company have to grow constantly. If a company does not grow and stagnant, it will be finally out of the market. The contemporary companies fully make use of M&A to search for new growth engines. The reason of companies using M&A as a important tool of a business strategy is the fastest way to achieve technology power, market power, competitiveness. The form of M&A was that leading companies take over smaller companies or merger and acquisition between small companies in the middle of 2000. But now, Mega mergers between industry leading companies often occur and especially domestic of course M&A of foreign companies occurs actively. These days the boom of stock market and the big companies are pouring on sale by restructuring, privatization and the basis of low interest will make the M&A market continuously. In this study, I suggest a solution of actual human resources management by analyzing proven M&A cases and search for various problems of a gap in the leadership and communication in connection with integration of organization culture after M&A. First of all, I arrange the theoretical concept of the subject and analyze the key factors of the success M&A cases, lastly I suggested a HR strategy after M&A. After M&A, HR strategy is ; First, a company have to build a organization culture which is that merger company accommodate a excellent organizational characteristic of predecessor company with consideration of culture difference. Second, M&A must proceed to remove of anxiety about the future and employment stability by excellent leaderships. Third, organization integration after M&A is influenced by the level of integration for that reason it was verified that M&A have to make progress by communication of each 2 organizations.

TONYMOLY Cosmetic Company: A Small but Smart Marketing Player

  • Established in 2006 as the forward integration effort by Taesung Industry, the major cosmetic packaging company, TONYMOLY has phenomenally grown to one of the major cosmetic brand companies in the submarket called, 'one brand-shop' of cosmetic market since 2008, after overcoming the crisis of 'going out of business' in a couple of early years. Within a relatively short period of time, TONYMOLY's performances have dramatically improved in terms of metrics such as growth in sales revenue, the number of stores, the average sales per store, transaction value per customer, the number of monthly transactions, the number of membership-based customers, and overseas sales. In this case study, we have examined TONYMOLY's recent marketing activities which may explain the plausible reasons behind the substantial growth of a small but smart cosmetic company. Above all, the first key success factor of TONYMOLY would be found in its adherence to the clear philosophy of the customer value proposition and/or the differentiated position of TONYMOLY as a brand of providing value. Second, this brand concept of value was first penetrated and welcomed among the foothold customer target group of mid and late teens with appropriate products, while the target groups were later expanded into the age group of twenties along with expansion of relevant products. Third, its differentiation efforts have been concrete and meaningful by utilizing unique ingredients in its product development and marketing efforts, unique fun packaging, and continuously introducing new hit-selling products as well as managing steady-selling products. Fourth, TONYMOLY has been smart enough to use its limited marketing money efficiently and effectively in its marketing communication activities. Viral marketing, PPL, and concentrated media planning and execution turned out to produce effective and efficient market-based performances such as awareness, word-of-mouth, and sales. Lastly, the marketing leadership of CEO and top management, emphasizing communications and interactions, was confirmed in the relationship quality with and trust level of its franchisees and internal employees. These key success factors may explain the recent phenomenal market performances of TONYMOLY. Despite recent successes, the major issues are presented for TONYMOLY to consider for maintaining its sustainable advantages and growth. The first issue concerns TONYMOLY's choice of growth philosophy between product/brand-centric marketing and customer-centric marketing. The second challenging issue relates to how TONYMOLY can cope with 'growing pains' plausibly accompanied with the rapid growth.

  • 환경결정론적 관점(Environmental determinism perspective)과 자원준거적 관점(resource-based perspective)은 기업성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 대한 서로 다른 인식을 하고 있다. 환경결정론적 관점은 외부환경이 기업성과에 중요한 영향을 미친다고 보는 반면, 자원준거적 관점은 환경의 불확실성을 극복하기 위해서는 적절한 의사결정을 통해 필요한 자원을 획득하는 것이 중요하다고 본다. 본 연구는 기업성과에 대한 외부환경의 영향이 중요하지만, 환경불확실성에 대처한 기업내부의 노력이 필요하다는 입장에서 기업의 외부환경이 기업성과에 미치는 과정에서 기업내부의 요인이 어떤 역할을 하는지 규명해 보았다. 본 연구는 외부환경인 시장성장률과 시장규모를 함께 고려한 시장환경 호의성이 매출성장률에 영향을 치는 과정에서 기업 내부역량인 최고경영자의 혁신지향성이 매개적인 역할을 하는지를 살펴보았다. 연구를 수행하기 위해 필요한 자료는 설문방법을 이용하여 수집하였다. 138개의 경인지역 중소 제조기업을 대상으로 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 22 패키지를 이용하여 통계자료분석을 실시하였다. 분석한 결과에 따르면, 시장환경 호의성이 매출성장률에 정(+)의 영향을 미치고, 최고경영자의 혁신지향성이 시장환경 호의성과 매출성장률 간에 매개역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과에서 시장환경에 따라 최고경영자가 혁신에 대해 관심과 의지를 가지고 혁신에 대한 비전을 제시하고 혁신활동을 제도화하면 혁신을 통해 경영성과가 높아진 다는 점을 확인할 수 있었다.

Relationships between Debt, Growth Opportunities, and Firm Value: Empirical Evidence from the Indonesia Stock Exchange

  • The relationship between capital structure policy and firm value is interesting to study because the concept of capital structure was initiated by Modigliani and Miller who claimed that the company's capital structure is not a factor in its value. They asserted that linking leverage with firm value was irrelevant. Therefore, this study examined the role of growth opportunities as a moderating variable for the relationship between capital structure and firm value. The population of this study is 300 companies from the manufacturing sector that are listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period 2015-2018. To analyze the data, the subgroup moderation method was employed by dividing the data into two parts: companies with high growth opportunities and companies with low growth opportunities. The results revealed that capital structure had a direct positive effect on firm value. Furthermore, the test results of the two regression models of growth opportunities as the moderating variable are very interesting. It was found that for companies with high growth opportunities, the use of debt had a negative effect on firm value, and conversely, the use of debt had a positive effect on firm value for companies with low growth opportunities. The statistical F-test results proved that growth opportunities are a moderating variable for the relationship between capital structure and firm value.

환경 인쇄 기술의 발전과 인쇄물의 $CO_2$ 발생량에 관한 연구 (A Study about Development of Environment Printing Technology and $CO_2$)

  • For as to world, the concern about the environment problem is enhanced than any other time in the past because of being 21 century. And the environment problem is highlighted as the world-wide issue. The time of the environment problem intimidates the alive of the mankind and presence of an earth over the time. It becomes the essentiality not being selection in the personal living or the economical viewpoint now to prepare for the climatic modification. As to the company management, the green growth period which it excludes the environment management considering an environment, cannot carry on the company the continued management comes. That is, in the change center of the management paradigm, there is the environment management. Nearly, the greenhouse gas which the publication industry is the environmental toxic material like all industries is generated. The greenhouse gas is ejected in the process of running the manufacturing process and print shop of the various kinds material used as the raw material of the book. Particularly, the tree felling for getting the material of the paper is known to reach the direct influence on the global warming. This study does according to an object it considers and organizes the environment parameter based on this kind of fact as to the publication industry. And it is determined as the reference which is used as the basic materials preparing the case that carbon exhaust right transaction(CAP and TRADE) drawing are enforced in all industries and is sustainable the management of the publication industry and reduces the environmental risk among the company many risk management elements and plans and enforces the publication related policy that there is a value. In the printing publication industry, this study tried to inquire into elements discharging the environmental pollutant or the greenhouse gas. Additionally, in the printed publication production process, it tried to inquire into the effort for an environment-friendly and necessity at the printing paper and the printers ink, regarded as the element discharging the greenhouse gas all kinds of the printing materials, operation of the print shop and all kinds of the machines and recycle process, and etc. These considerations make these industrial field employees aware of the significance about a conservation and environmental protection. They try to give a help in the subsequent study producing quantitatively each environmental parameter emission of green house gas. This makes the calculation of the relative $CO_2$ output reproached ultimately possible. Meanwhile, in a sense, many research protects and improving an environment in connection with the contents of research at the printing publication industrial field is in progress. There will be the voluntary human face that it has to protect an environment but this can not do by the outside factor according to all kinds of environment related law and regulation. Anyway, because of acting on company management as the factor of oppression, the increase of this environment-related correspondence cost could know that the research that the environment loading relates with a procurement and development, environment management system introduction, quality control standard, including, normalizing including a material, and etc. through the part of the effort to reduce the cost low was actively in progress. As to the green growth era, as follows, this paper prescribed the subject and alternative of the print publication industry. It is surrounded by the firstly new digital environment and the generation of the subject. And secondly the printing industry is caused by the point of time when the green growth leaves by the topic which is largest in the global industry and it increases. The printing publication industry has to prepare the bridgehead for the environment-friendly green growth as the alternative for this resolution with first. The support blown in each industry becomes the obligation not being selection. Prestek in which the print publishing was exposed to spend many energies and which is known as the practice of the sustainable print publishing insisted that it mentioned importance of the green printing through the white pages in 2008 and a company had to be the green growth comprised through the environment-friendly activity. The core management for the sustainable printing publication industry presented from Presstack white pages is compacted to 4 words that it is a remove, reduce, recover, and recycle. Second, positively the digital printing(POD) system should be utilized. 패널구조방정식을 활용한 IT기업의 R&D투자효과 연구: 특허 매개효과 중심으로 (R&D Investment Effect through Patent on IT firms using Panel Structural Equations)

  • This study analyzes not only the direct impact of R&D investment on corporate growth for 578 private firms in 2007-2016, but also whether corporate innovation activities play a role as a mediating parameter between R&D investment and corporate growth. For this purpose, we classify companies into IT and non-IT companies and measure the mediating effect by dividing innovation activities into the number of registered patents, applied patents, and sum of them. In addition, this study is based on both the systemGMM which is considered to be effective in solving the endogenous problems caused by the cross-sectional analysis in previous studies and ML-SEM which is a new method recently, and then compares two results. According to the empirical results, innovation activities has a role as partly mediating parameter on sales growth in non-IT companies. On the other hands, in IT companies, the increase in R&D investment leads to a decrease in sales of the company, and the increase in innovation activities increases the sales of the company. However, it was confirmed that IT companies also had positive effects by adjusting the lag of the R&D. In other words, this suggests that securing patents is more important than R&D investment for direct sales growth of IT companies. It is also evidence that immediate introduction of technology is necessary to respond to the speed of technological change since the cycle time of technologies of the IT field is relatively shorter compared to that of other fields.

외식프랜차이즈 가맹점의 갈등과 분쟁해결 사례연구 (Case Study of Settlement of Disputes and Complications of Dinning-out Franchise Affiliates)

  • This study is for an example of arbitration of a dining out franchise company in Korea and franchise system currently is expanding and developing to international trade. The main reason for that is franchising has some benefits compared to the existing trades. Korean dining-out industry has largely developed for the past 20 years, but there are little world-class company of the industry, because dining-out industry should go for qualitative as well as quantitative growth at the same time. Korean dining-out industry has adopted licensing and joint-venture among growth strategies, but the franchise system among them seems to have taken its place as a representative strategy for management to develop dining-out industry. The history of Korean dining-out franchise industry is very short and it is true that we have no a management philosophy of accompanying growth with franchise due to a short experiences and recognition of top management or managers and short-term strategy for branch expansion. For a brilliant growth of dining-out franchise industry, to settle disputes through arbitration, in case of disputes taking place, is very important, because the franchise industry is a frequent-trading sector, requires expert-level knowledge, favors a closed examination and also needs a fast solution. As the franchise industry has been sharply growing around the world, there is more possibility of disputes, and various and complicated laws of the industry are related to disputes as well, so much more expert-level knowledge is required to solve disputes. Therefore, affiliated headquarters hope a disclosed settlement of their disputes and their any disputes should be fast settled for the benefits of affiliated members.

Effects of feed form and particle size on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, carcass characteristics, and gastric health in growing-finishing pigs

  • Objective: This study was conducted to evaluate the effects of feed processing and particle size on growth performance, nutrient digestibility, carcass characteristics, and gastric health in growing-finishing pigs. Methods: A total of 360 growing pigs (22.64±0.014 kg initial body weight [BW]) were allocated to 1 of 6 treatments with 6 replicates by BW and sex, and 10 pigs were housed in one pen in a randomized complete block design. The BW and feed intake were recorded to calculate growth performance. For the digestibility trial, a total of 24 barrows with an initial BW of 33.65±0.372 kg were split into 6 treatments with a completely randomized design. Dietary treatments were designed by a 2×3 factorial arrangement of treatments based on two main factors, particle size (600, 750, 900 ㎛) and feed form (mash and pellet) of diet. Experimental diets were formulated to contain the requirements of the NRC (2012). Results: The BW and average daily gain were not changed by dietary treatments, and the feed intake of finishing pigs (wks 6 to 12) was increased when the pigs were fed a mash diet (p<0.05). For the overall period, the feed efficiency of pigs was improved with the pellet diet (p<0.01) and reduced particle size (p<0.05). The pellet diet had effects on increasing crude fat digestibility (p<0.01) relative to a mash diet, but there was no considerable change in dry matter and crude protein digestibilities by dietary treatments. In the evaluation of gastric health, a trend for an increased incidence of keratinization in the esophageal region was observed as particle size decreased (p = 0.07). Conclusion: Feed efficiency could be improved by pellet diet and reduced particle size. Nutrient digestibility, carcass characteristics, and gastric health were not affected by feed form, and particle size ranged from 600 to 900 ㎛.

지식재산권이 기업의 경영성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증연구: 특허권을 중심으로 (An empirical study on the impact of intellectual property rights on the management performance of companies: focusing on patent rights)

  • 그동안은 규모가 큰 기업 위주의 분석과 과거 경영실적과 특허권의 관계위주의 분석을 했으나, 본 연구에서는 실증분석을 통해 중소기업을 대상으로 특허를 보유한 기업의 미래 매출액 변동성에 대해 살펴보았다. 본 연구에서는 지식재산권인 특허권의 양적가치와 질적가치가 기업경영성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 특허의 양적가치로는 특허의 수를, 질적가치는 특허평균점수를 기업경영성과로는 평균매출액증가율을 사용하였다. SPSS를 이용한 판별분석을 통해 2가지 독립변수 모두 평균매출액 증가율이 2배 이상인 기업과 2배 미만인 기업을 구분하는데 유의적인 변수임을 확인하였다. 따라서 특허권 보유 중소기업에 대해 보증심사나 여신심사시 본 연구결과를 이용하여 향후 매출액이 어떻게 변경될지에 대한 분석의 틀을 이해관계자에게 제공한다는데 의의가 있다.
