부산·경남지역 읍성 마을에서의 사회적 공간의 인지 특성 - 가덕도 성북(城北)마을, 진해구 웅천(熊川)마을을 대상으로 - (Cognitive Characteristics of Social Space on Town Wall Villages in Busan and Gyeongnam Areas - The village of Seongbuk in Gadeok-Island and Ungcheon in Jinhae -)

  • Seongbuk Village and Ungcheon Village are Town Wall Villages that reflect social and historical backgrounds. villagers have formed villages based on community life. The streets and places of the villages are accumulated as images in the memory of the inhabitants. Based on their imagination-concept, 30 sketch maps, reflecting residents' cognitive perception were collected. Analysis of 30 sketch maps shows that other forming of Collective maps. In the past, Villages historical facilities had changed roles, but the relationship between the place and the place has been continuous, and according to the development process of the villages, the relationship between streets and places has been formed. Following this, the analysis methodology of social spaces and sketch will be examined in depth.

Relationships between Fish Communities and Environmental Variables in Islands, South Korea

  • Most of the islands of Korea are distributed in the South and West Sea, and it consists of independent small stream. As a result, the fish community that inhabits the island's stream is isolated from the mainland and other island. This study utilized a Self-Organizing Map (SOM) and a random forest model to analyze the relationship between environmental variables and fish communities inhabiting islands in South Korea. Through the SOM analysis, the fish communities were divided into three clusters, and there were differences in biotic and abiotic factors between these groups. Cluster I consisted of sites with relatively larger island areas and a higher number of species and population. It was found that 15 out of 16 indicator species were included. Meanwhile, the remaining clusters had fewer species and populations. Cluster II, especially, showed the lowest impact from physical variables such as water width and depth. As a result of predicting the species richness using the random forest model, physical variables in habitats, such as stream width and water depth, had a relatively higher importance on species richness. On the other hand, forest area was the most important variables for predicting Shannon diversity, followed by maximum water depth, and gravel. The results suggest that this study can be used as basic data for establishing a stream ecosystem management strategy in terms of conservation and protection of biological resources in streams of islands.

주거지 정비지역 주민 워크샵을 통한 마을이미지 맵 제작도구의 효용성 연구 (Effectiveness of "Village Image Construction Tool Kit" in the Residents Workshop of a Housing Improvement Area)

  • Citizen participation in local redevelopment has recently been regarded as essential, since progress in democracy and diversified public interests have contributed to more importance being placed on citizen participation in the implementation of public policies. While the importance of resident participation has been increasingly emphasized in principle, in reality more effort is still required in its application. We need to develop practical strategies of collecting community opinion in order to reflect it in public policy, if we are to achieve a resident and citizen-centered society. The purpose of this study is to develop an image map construction tool that can be applied to the "Maul-Mandulgi" projects as a visualized method to facilitate the exchange of opinions and work toward agreements. The tool is intended to assist public discussion by visualizing policies and plans and reducing the possibility of misunderstanding, so that residents can properly respond to the plans. Second, this study will verify the effectiveness of the tool in the application to local community workshops. The main research method is participant observation method and field study. Major findings are as follows, First, every resident who had participated in previous workshops gathered together, used the tool and represented their opinions unusually more than once. Each resident tried to make sure that other participants appropriately understood his or her opinion. The workshop finished when all participants agreed and produced a consensus. The workshop took much less time, which is in stark contrast to previous workshops in which it took significantly more time to collect opinions. Second, it proved that residents in the redevelopment area can strike a broad agreement by themselves on a method and direction for residential improvement. In previous workshops, conflicts between residents developed over the choice between the two methods, of local improvement and total demolition prior to multi-housing construction. In this study, opinions of residents were not limited to the two methods by finding a winwin solution. Third, the use of the tool kit for image map became efficient for inactive residents to develop their own opinions in regard to the direction and orientations of the residential improvement process. In addition, for those who have either no or a slight understanding of the residential improvement projects, the tool can provide access to information and knowledge. This study concludes that the developed tool for imaging of the redevelopment projection like a design game, rather than using forms of text and speech, can be a useful tool in collecting opinions and forming an agreed opinion for forthcoming residential improvement plans.

예당호 어류 종조성과 채집도구에 따른 어류 특성 (Species Composition of Fish in Yedang Reservoir and Characteristics by Sampling Gears)

  • 어류 채집도구는 다양하며, 채집도구의 선택과 특성에 따라 채집되는 어류의 군집에 차이가 나타난다. 본 연구는 예당호에서 4개의 채집도구 (족대, 투망, 자망 및 삼각망)를 이용하여 어류 군집을 조사하고 비교하였다. 족대와 투망은 개체수를 채집하는 데 효율적이지 않았으나, 수변부에 서식하는 어류의 종 다양성이 높았다. 자망의 경우, 체장이 길거나 등지느러미 극조가 존재하는 어류가 주로 채집되었다. 삼각망에서는 가장 많은 개체수가 채집되었으며, 높은 종 선택성으로 인해 우점도가 높아지는 것으로 나타났다. NMDS 분석에서 족대, 투망 및 자망 간 채집되는 어류의 뚜렷한 차이가 나타났다. 비지도학습법인 Self-organizing map (SOM) 분석으로 자망에서는 체장이 큰 어류가 채집되는 반면 삼각망에서는 체장이 작은 어류가 채집되는 패턴 특성을 밝혀내었다. 채집도구에 따라 어류의 생태적인 특성과 종 다양성 효율이 다르게 나타났으며, 어류 군집조사 시 서식환경과 목적에 부합되는 채집도구를 선택할 필요성이 있다. 또한, 서식처 유형에 적합한 채집도구의 표준화로 연구자 간의 차이를 줄이는 방법의 제시가 요구된다.

건강한 농촌마을 가꾸기를 위한 참여형 마을지도 그리기 교육기법의 개발과 적용 (Development and Application of Participatory Mapping for Healthy Agricultural Village)

  • Objectives: We used participatory mapping as a tool for empowerment training for promoting health and safety of farmers. We would like to introduce the application of participatory mapping method and report our experiences in a rural community in Korea. Methods: A one-day workshop was offered in six rural villages which were designated as 'safe farm zones'. Each workshop started with an orientation session, followed by a village rounding, presentations of best cases, a group exercise to draw and present a healthy village map. Participants were requested to express their ideas and experiences about healthy and safe residential and working environments on their map. Results: A total of 206 farmers(100 male, 106 female) participated in the workshops. In each workshop, an average of 34.3 farmers participated, and their mean age was 59 years. In the six workshops, the participants proposed a total of 137 action plans. The action plans included improvement of co-working condition, building facilities for recreation, improving traffic safety measures, and improving residential environment. Conclusions: Participatory mapping was successfully developed and applied as a tool for empowering Korean farmers. The participants were able to express their ideas and thoughts about healthy and safe village and action plans on the map. Moreover, some of the actions in the action plans were carried out immediately after workshop.

해사안전기술의 대개도국 이전을 위한 로드맵 작성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Road Map for Transfer of Maritime Safety Technology)

  • 국제해사기구(IMO)와 세계 해운계는 해양환경 보호 빚 해상안전 확보를 위해 각종 국제협약을 사행하고 있으나, 해양사고에 의한 인명, 재산, 환경의 피해는 지속적으로 증가하고 있다. 해양 사고의 주요 요인은 많은 개발도상국들이 해사안전기술을 갖추지 못해 IMO에서 요구하고 있는 국제협약을 이행하지 못한 것으로 분석된다. 우리나라는 과거 수원국가에서 최초로 대개도국 지원국가(DAC)에 참여하여, 대개 도국 지원정책을 강화하고 있다. 그러나 해안 대개도국 지원업무는 농어촌 개발 및 사회간접자본 확충 등에 치중하였으며, 해양안전부문은 극히 미흡하였다. 그러나 우리나라는 세계 10위권의 해운국가로 부상하고 IMO A그룹의 이사국으로 피선됨에 따라 개도국의 해양안전 및 환경보호를 위한 지원압력이 국제사회로부터 가중되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 해사안전기술의 대개도국 이전을 위한 로드맵의 작성방안과 이행전략으로서 개도국 수요조사, 자금확보, 조직, 인식제고 등을 제시하였다.

인공신경회로망을 이용한 서해안 겨울철 수조류의 발생특성 유형화 (Patterning Waterbirds Occurrences at the Western Costal Area of the Korean Peninsula in Winter Using a Self-organizing Map)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 서해안에서 월동하는 수조류 군집의 특성 및 환경요인에 따른 분포 특성을 밝히고자 수행되었다. 수조류 군집조사는 10개 지역에서 실시되었으며, 환경요인으로 토지피복도 비율을 측정하였다. 전체 조사지역에서 종 구성은 수면성 오리류가 84%로 가장 높은 비율을 나타냈고, 그 외 잠수성 오리류, 섭금류, 기러기류, 갈매기류 등이 많이 관찰되었다. 가장 높은 우점도를 나타낸 종은 청둥오리(Anas platyrhynchos)였으며 다음으로 가창오리(Anas formosa)가 차지하였다. 비지도 학습법 인공신경회로망인 self-organizing map(SOM)을 이용한 월동 수조류 군집을 유형화 한 결과 수조류 군집은 6개의 그룹으로 구분되었다. 각 그룹은 서식지의 특성에 따라 명확히 구분되어 서식지의 공간특성을 잘 반영해 주었으며, 또한 조사 시기에 따른 군집의 차이도 잘 나타내 주었다.

걷기를 적용한 경관의 주관적 인식조사 방법의 유용성에 관한 연구 - 광주 수청리 농촌마을 대상으로 - (Walking as Research Method for Revealing Subjective Perceptions on Landscape : Rural Village Sucheong-ri, Gwangju)

  • In existing method, research for landscape resource is driven by professional (or with the participation of local people at Tokenism level), and usually hinder local residents from reflecting their appreciations on the landscape resources in their own ways and eventually ends up with indistinguishable landscape planning. To avoid this, a profound understanding of what landscape they experience in their daily life and how they perceive it should be empirically analysed carefully. The purpose of this study is to apply walking behavior as a method to examine local residents' subjective perceptions and consider its usability. The researcher walked the site(Sucheongri) with the residents, carrying a GPS device, taking photographs of the landscape objects they described, and recording the relevant explanations. After gathering photographs and explanations which represent the research participants' individual subjective perception, the researcher analysed the explanation using open coding, based on grounded theory. By the analysis, 117 landscape objectives are identified and 18 reason factors for landscape perception were deduced from the explanation. Those factors could be classified as 'positive feeling inducing' and 'negative feeling inducing', and also as 'personal emotion based' and 'community based emotion'. By comparison between feeling map by conventional method and feeing map by new method, usability of new method was empirically reveled. Walking behavior makes it easier for researcher to get more abundant data in quantitative aspect and profound understanding with affection of respondent by allowing them to 'go beyond' the perceptions they remember. Finally new method with walking gives professionals a contextual understanding of a place and more resident-oriented plans and management on sites.

농촌지역의 대중교통을 이용한 공공서비스시설 접근성 분석 (Accessibility to Public Service Facilities in Rural Area by Public Transportation System)

  • Public transportation is public service that is contributed to the convenience of the public. However, opportunity for public services in rural areas is weaker than the chance in urban areas. The purpose of this study is to evaluate accessibility of various public facilities using public transportation. To evaluate the accessibility, we calculate the various time from community center to the nearest bus stop, walking time, riding time in bus, and waiting time for transfer. The results of this study ares as follows; (1) Villages occupy 19.8% in rural areas that walking time from community center to the nearest bus stop takes over 10 minutes in integrated Chungju-si; (2) The average speed is 21.9 km/hr estimated to departure and arrival time of bus route; (3) The accessibility time from community center using the average bus speed takes 15.43 minutes to public facilities, 35.15 minutes to emergency center, 8.70 minutes to medical center, 9.70 minutes to elementary school, 16.26 minutes to middle school, and 22.61 minutes high school; (4) The transfer time of public transportation takes 13.46, 21.96, 10.48, 7.78, 11.11, 16.10 minutes to public facilities, emergency center, medical center, elementary school, middle school, and high school, respectively; (4) Traffic accessibility using bus vehicles in the East and South Chungju-si is lower than areas in the West and North Chungju-si. Some villages surrounding public offices (eup-myeon office) which have a high density of population, indicate a high traffic accessibility.

시스템 다이내믹스를 이용한 해양오염관리 유인(誘因) 분석 (Analysis of Marine Pollution Management Cause using System Dynamics)

  • 이 논문은 직 간접적으로 연결되어 있는 해양오염관리의 동태적 현상을 파악하고 해양오염 및 관리 유인을 분석하고자 한다. 이 논문에서는 시스템 다이내믹스 분석 기법을 사용하여 해양오염 및 관리에 대한 하위 시스템을 분석하고 시스템 구성요소간의 피드백 루프(Feedback loop)를 작성하였고, 이를 바탕으로 해양오염관리의 전체적인 인과지도(Casual map)를 작성하였다. 이 논문의 주된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 기름유출시 초동방제 유인간 시간지연에 따른 피드백 루프 침체에 대한 장비 및 기술개발, 법률적 개정이 필요하다. 둘째, 사회적 갈등으로 발생된 부식공동체 확산방지를 위한 협력체 구성 및 신사업 창출을 통한 생계수단이 마련되어야 한다. 셋째, 기름유출의 해양오염관리를 단순히 유출된 기름을 제거하는 방제뿐만 아니라 유출로 인한 지역사회 및 국가차원의 사회적 갈등까지 최소화시켜야할 책무도 포함되어야 한다. 본 연구에서 제시된 해양오염관리 모델을 통해 기존 방제계획, 매뉴얼 및 대응 프로그램의 개선에서 확인할 수 없었던 시간지연 등의 숨은 유인(Hidden cause)을 확인하고, 광의의 방제활동이 더욱 중요해졌음을 인지하여, 이를 해결 할 수 있는 방향을 제시하는데 도움을 줄 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.
