Design that is emotionally gratifying is a product design that has been produced by considering user's emotions to give satisfaction through a compositive integration of environmental elements, user's psychological and cognitive element and products' physical elements. In the 21c, where this process of integration is much more appreciated, it could be predicted that the competitiveness of a product relies not on technological aspect but on how close the product to a human being as a communication aid. In the world these days, the changes of lifestyle has been excelled due to the rapid growth of scientific technology. It is needed more than ever for the designers to participate in Human Sensibility Ergonomics to cope with the changes and to design products that are emotionally correct. Therefore, Human Sensibility Ergonomics and design should work closely, organizing a system to sharing the research outcomes and investing opportunities for numerous researchers to study.

Today's restaurant is the space not just for eating, but enjoying the mood, communication space for social life, and leading trend. Therefore interior design is concerned with one of the most important role for creating unique atmosphere of restaurants. This study is aimed to analyze how to interior design elements affect the improvement of New York hip restaurant reputation, focusing on the importance of the establishment of unique trend. Through the case studies of New York hip restaurants, it is suggested that interior design is composed to not only significant different element, but also common design concept. It is mainly divided by 5 categories which is the Fusion mixed with eastern culture throughout the vision of the western, the New Baroque redefined tradition and modern thought, the Modern Classic created by importance of concise style and beauty of material, the High Concept used with new materials and technologies, and the Naturalism focused on spirit from nature and eco. Recently New York hip restaurant through the corporation work with star chef and star designer is developed to provide the enjoyable and anticipated spaces with strong theme and entertainments.

Nowadays, kitchen are not for the housewives who were independent themselves in the past but for the functional spaces. Kitchen spaces are not only the main function in the residence but also changing spaces which provide the mutual understanding communication between the family members. Although the primary function of the kitchen is food preparation, it is commonly a gathering spot for family and friends, especially if it includes an informal eating area. With so much time spent in the kitchen, and can easily become tired do the decorating scheme. But, for fear of high remodeling costs, it is often unchanged for many years. Surprisingly, there are many changes that can de made to the decorating scheme of a kitchen without either the expense or the inconvenience of remodeling. Between materials on the market, materials for kitchen interior were chosen for this study. Following results came from the materials after combustion. Among boards, MDF showed the highest score in these four categories; residual inflame time, residual glow time, carbonization length, carbonization area. Also, among finishing materials (interior materials), MDF + Poly Coating showed the highest score in those categories. Therefore, it seemed that interior materials need flame retardancy.

As essential element of designers, foundation studies program helps student deal with the individual expression of imagination and variety of correspondence for solving design problem through the understanding of 2-D, 3-D basic design elements, principals, structures. Liberal art and foundation studio courses provides embodiment and settlement of design principal through the foundation studies expand to experiences systematically and deeply. After the Industrialization, foundation studies have developed from Bauhaus in German, the courses have been progressing and systematizing with the demand of time in United States. Growth of Industrialization, expanded design areas departmentalized to various of fields, then the segmentation of foundation courses tend to important than basic design courses. The introduction of information era, the appearance of computer is placed as a tool of design development and added to applied basic courses. This study is intended to know how to change the leading foundation courses in United State due to the revitalization of industrialization and information through the research and analyse to foundation design education curriculums. As a result, most of design school in United States provide drawing, 2-D, 3-D, and 4-D courses included 3-D design element as a basic studies and provide to students introduction to fundamental principal of design concept and communication in both theoretical and applied form. Also though the history, literature, critic, research and survey courses provide students to organize fundamental of systematical logic and understanding design system.

It is essential to make a purchase decision to make sure that the furniture matches well with other structures in the room. Moreover, in the Untact Marketing situation caused by the COVID-19 crisis, this is becoming an even more impact factor. Accordingly, methods of measuring length using AR(Augmented Reality) are emerging with the advent of AR open sources such as ARCore and ARKit for furniture arrangement interior simulation. Since this existing method using AR generates a Depth Map based on a flat camera image and it also involves complex three-dimensional calculations, limitations are revealed in work that requires the information of accurate room size using a smartphone. In this paper, we propose a method to accurately measure the size of a room using only the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors built in smartphones without using ARCore or ARKit. In addition, as an example of application using the presented technique, a method for applying a pre-designed room interior to each room is presented.

The origin of Uchida is strictly avant-garde and carries a social dimension. The work is a challenge to consumption-oriented mass production, a revolt against intrusive one-way communication, and an aversion to oppressive politics. Such a spirit led to a rare communication design that was created in collabolation with the user and designer, both relating to each other's senses of touch and in the same familiar plane. He first began by focusing on the physical movements of objects in order to achieve maximum comfort and lightness. From the beginning, He avoided strong, sturdy solids, and favored the faint, transitory and vulnerable. He choose the pursue "furniture with delicate lines", "to create darkness by layering shadows", all of which are extremely unique and resulted in designs that have a profound presence. Uchida gives various meanings and functions to the grid. This activities and philosophy of Uchida Shigeru influenced on the interior design.the interior design.

A ray tracing method to analyze the propagation channel characteristics for a millimeter-wave indoor wireless communication system is presented. Reflected rays from planar as well as rough surfaces are included. Transmitted rays though a thin dielectric slab are considered. Maps representing received power levels and RMS delay spread from a transmitter in a rectangular room are shown. The received power levels in the empty room for bottom's roughness factors of 0 and 0.13 are represented. The simulation results are well consistent with the calculation of Friis equation with reflection coefficient. Any size of furniture the shape of plane form can be positioned anywhere in the room.

Currently, the accessibility of households for the visually impaired has increased compared to the past, but there are still many shortcomings in existing methods, and conversely, in the process of changing to a touch screen, there have been more situations that cannot be determined by hand. In this paper, we propose a method to increase the accessibility of blind people to refrigerators, one of the essential furniture, by changing people's action to voice with device linkage and server communication.

If we look at Korea's urbanization since 1960, only the urban communities like buildings have developed, yet the resting places for human itself have been ignored. Many people continuously felt alienated especially after the mechanization and started to demand for better living space. For that reason, it is essential for us to develop the resting places for human among the buildings in urban areas and these resting places could form the basis of new community. We have researched on street furniture and citizen's behavior pattern in resting places through references and internet surfing to propose a design concept for a new resting place and street furniture, Therefore, we would like to design a resting place in urban area considering human, community and environment. As a result, we have designed a resting place where citizens could interact with surrounding environment and let office workers enjoy the nature among the buildings in this resting place. People could always stop by and take some rose by enjoying the surrounding nature. The resting place consists of 5 zones- public square, environmental zone, communication zone, technology zone, and entertainment zone. Each zone has its own design motif to lead systematic street furniture and site planning. The resting place is formed in a specific region which is a prototype of a resting environment in urban areas in the future and it could be reassigned according to its regional condition.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate environmental characteristics of maternity rooms. The method of this study is a field survey on 8 samples of postpartum care centers in Seoul. The plan, colors, materials, furniture and environmental characteristics of maternity rooms are analyzed. The characteristics of maternity rooms environment were categorized into four items; comfort, privacy, communication and dwelling. The results are as follows: Western-style and rooming-separation system of maternity rooms are used. Maternity rooms are generally good for dwelling quality but insufficient for communication. There are a lack of supply to control a temperature Individually in maternity rooms. It demands to make the type of one-sided public space between maternity room and living room for privacy. All of the maternity rooms surveyed are furnished with TV, radio, and telephone but, to improve communication with visitors, it is recommended that more convenient supplies such as audio and video system, chairs, and table be equipped. There are needs for sky-light windows in maternity rooms. It is necessary to research more about the space of living room, nursing room and service area, and we need more study about baby, nurser and owner' spaces.
