국가R&D사업에서의 연구 성과 사업화 방안에 대한 연구 : 지능형국토정보기술혁신사업의 사례 분석 (A Study on Technology Commercialization for National R&D Products : A Case Study on Korean Land Spatialization Program)

  • 최근의 R&D는 연구 분야에 대한 핵심 알고리즘 및 기술 개발 뿐 아니라 실질적인 성과도출 및 성과를 통한 가치창출을 매우 중요시한다. 이에 따라 현재 다양한 R&D사업에서 연구 성과의 활용을 극대화하기 위해 기술사업화에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있으며, 그 일환으로 비즈니스 모델(Business Model, BM)의 개발 및 적용에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나 국가 주도로 이루어지는 국가R&D사업은 일반 기업에서 주도하는 민간R&D사업과는 다른 특징을 가지고 있기 때문에, 기업을 대상으로 개발된 일반적인 비즈니스 모델 방법론을 적용하기에는 어려움이 따른다. 또한 비즈니스 모델의 실제 적용을 위해 개념적으로 작성된 비즈니스 모델을 기술적인 관점으로 체계화하기 위한 기술 아키텍처 분석과정이 필요하다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 연구 성과의 활용을 향상시키기 위한 기술사업화 지원 방안으로서, 국가R&D사업의 특성에 적합한 비즈니스 모델 개발 절차와 기술 아키텍처 분석 방법론을 제시하고, 실제 적용 가능성을 검증하기 위해 국토해양부 주관 대형 국가R&D사업단인 지능형국토정보기술혁신사업단의 비즈니스 모델 개발 과정에 적용해 보았다.

사용자 리뷰 분석을 통한 제품 요구품질 도출 방법론 (Methodology for Deriving Required Quality of Product Using Analysis of Customer Reviews)

  • Recently, as technology development has accelerated and product life cycles have been shortened, it is necessary to derive key product features from customers in the R&D planning and evaluation stage. More companies want differentiated competitiveness by providing consumer-tailored products based on big data and artificial intelligence technology. To achieve this, the need to correctly grasp the required quality, which is a requirement of consumers, is increasing. However, the existing methods are centered on suppliers or domain experts, so there is a gap from the actual perspective of consumers. In other words, product attributes were defined by suppliers or field experts, but this may not consider consumers' actual perspective. Accordingly, the demand for deriving the product's main attributes through reviews containing consumers' perspectives has recently increased. Therefore, we propose a review data analysis-based required quality methodology containing customer requirements. Specifically, a pre-training language model with a good understanding of Korean reviews was established, consumer intent was correctly identified, and key contents were extracted from the review through a combination of KeyBERT and topic modeling to derive the required quality for each product. RevBERT, a Korean review domain-specific pre-training language model, was established through further pre-training. By comparing the existing pre-training language model KcBERT, we confirmed that RevBERT had a deeper understanding of customer reviews. In addition, all processes other than that of selecting the required quality were linked to the automation process, resulting in the automation of deriving the required quality based on data.

프로세스 관점에서의 기술혁신 및 고용성과에 관한 연구 : 중소기업을 중심으로 (A Study on Technological Innovation and Employment Performance from the Perspective of Process : Focused on Small and Medium Sized Enterprises)

  • 기업들에 있어서 고용은 혁신활동의 결과를 바탕으로 하는 연속된 의사결정과정이다. 따라서 기술혁신을 통한 고용성과를 살펴봄에 있어서 이 같은 관계성을 명시적으로 분석에 고려할 필요가 있다. 이러한 문제의식을 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 중소기업의 기술혁신과 고용효과의 관계를 선행 연구와 같이 단일방정식을 추정하는 순위로짓(ordered logit) 모형으로 분석할 뿐 아니라, 연립방정식을 추정하는 외견무관회귀(SUR) 모형을 활용하여 실제 동시적으로 수행되어지는 기술경영 과정의 상관성을 반영하여 기업의 혁신활동과 기술혁신 성과, 보상제도 그리고 고용 창출의 구조적 관계를 분석하고자 하였다. 분석 결과, 보상제도의 시행은 기술개발 및 기술사업화 성과를 높이고, 이것은 다시 기업의 고용을 촉진하는 구조적 관계를 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 고용성과에 있어 기술개발 뿐 아니라 사업화 성과가 일종의 허들로 작용한다는 점에서 기술혁신을 프로세스 관점에서 관리할 때 기업의 고용성과는 높아진다고 볼 수 있겠다.

DME 상용화 플랜트 예비 타당성 조사 (Preliminary Feasibility Study for Commercial DME Plant Project)

  • Dimethyl ether (DME) is a new clean fuel as an environmentally-being energy resources. DME has similar characteristics to those of LPG and can be substituted Diesel fuel. KOGAS has investigated and developed new innovative DME synthesis process from synthesis gas with KOGAS's own technologies. KOGAS had finished the construction of 10ton/day DME demonstration plant in 2008, we have established the basic design of commercial plant which can produce 3,000ton/day DME. Specifically, an economic model for a commercial DME project will be presented. It accounts for all the major cost factors that are considered in a commercial scale project as the model input for performing cash flow analysis, after which key economic indicators are produced including the internal rate of return (IRR), net present value (NPV). Sensitivity analysis is performed to identify dominant cost factors to the project economics and quantify their impact. The inputs to the economic analysis will be based on representative cost factors from the commercial-scale design of KOGAS' direct DME process supplemented by literature data. Case study results will be presented based on recent commercialization projects.

Water cost analysis of different membrane distillation process configurations for brackish water desalination

  • Membrane distillation (MD) is a process used for water desalination. However, its commercialization is still hindered by its increased specific cost of production. In this work, several process configurations comprising Direct Contact and Permeate Gap distillation membrane units (PGMD/DCMD) were investigated to maximize the production rate and consequently reduce the specific water cost. The analysis was based on a cost model and an experimentally validated MD model. It was revealed that the best achievable water cost was approximately 5.1 $/㎥ with a production rate of 8000 ㎥/y. This cost can be further decreased to approximately 2 $/㎥ only if the heating and cooling energies are free of cost. Therefore, it is necessary to decrease the MD capital investment to produce pure water at economical prices.

우리나라 공공연구기관의 국내 기술이전 계약 및 중재조항 명기에 관한 연구 (The Arbitration Clause in the Domestic Technology Transfer Contracts of Public R&D Institutes in Korea)

  • In this rapidly changing knowledge-based society, technology is regarded as one of critical factors for competitive edge and sustainable growth. Therefore, most of countries in the world have strengthened their efforts to promote industrial technology innovation and development. In Korea, KIAT(Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology) newly established m May 2009 as a quasi-government institute with the integration of six organizations including KTTC(Korea Technology Transfer Center) has played a crucial role in transferring and commercializing industrial technologies between public and private sectors. Generally, technology transfer and commercialization have been conducted by the contracts which are very detailed, complex and diverse. To solve any disputes and controversies between the parties, it is essential to make a prior agreement on the amicable settlement by the use of Arbitration Clause. By reviewing the characteristics, process, current situation and model contracts of domestic technology transfer in Korea, it is quite recommend for arbitration-related organizations such as KCAB(Korean Commercial Arbitration Board) to foster the strong campaign for the popular use of Arbitration Clause. It will contribute to settle any disputes and controversies between the parties more speedy, economically and rationally, thereby promoting the technology transfer and commercialization in Korea.

시스템 다이나믹스를 이용한 기술혁신의 동태성 분석 (A Dynamic Analysis of Technological Innovation Using System Dynamics)

  • This paper describes a comprehensive approach to examine how technological innovation contributes to the renewal of the firm's competences through its dynamic and reciprocal relationship with R&D and product commercialization. Three theories of technology and innovation (R&D and technological knowledge concept, product-process concept, technological interdependence concept) are used to relate technology and innovation to strategic management. Based on those theories, this paper attempts to identify dynamic relationship between product innovation and process innovation by system dynamics, by investigating the aspect of the dynamic changes of the closed feedback circulation structure in which R&D investments drive technological knowledge accumulation, and such knowledge accumulation actualizes product innovation and process innovation, subsequently resulting in the increase of productivity, customer satisfaction, profit generation, and re-investment on R&D from the created profits. This provides the ability to assess the advantages and disadvantages of different technological innovation strategies and commitments, and the opportunity to explore equilibrium point and suggest a generalized technological innovation model under different industry environment parameters and time-strategies.

공공기술의 사업화를 위한 기술수준 및 기업역량 평가모델 개발 (Development of Technology and Enterprise Assessment Model for Commercialization of Public Technology)

  • 정부의 지속적인 R&D투자로 논문, 특허 등의 지적성과는 증가하였지만 경제적인 성과는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 이러한 문제는 기술공급자와 기술수요자 간에 개발기술 및 기업역량에 대한 정보의 공유 부재와 비대칭성 문제가 주요 원인이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구는 공공기술의 사업화 성공률을 제고하기 위해 문헌조사를 통해 R&D 연구성과에 대한 평가모델 및 평가지표항목을 발굴하고, 실태조사를 통해 기술사업화 성공 및 실패요인을 분석하여, 개발기술과 기업역량을 평가할 수 있는 핵심적인 평가지표를 선정하고 이를 활용하여 기술의 사업화 적합성 및 기업의 사업화 역량을 평가할 수 있는 모델을 제시하였다. 기술사업화 평가모델은 공공기술의 이전 및 창업, 정부의 기술사업화사업(R&BD) 평가 시에 대상기술과 대상기업을 평가하는 자료로 유용하게 사용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 반면, 본 연구에서는 기초원천기술의 사업화 적합성을 평가하는데 필요한 특정지표에 대한 연구가 이루어지지 않았으며 일부 지표는 해당 기술에 대한 평가자의 역량에 의해 주관적 해석이 발생할 수 있는 한계가 있다. 향후 평가모델에 대한 실제 적용을 통해 현 모델의 보완점을 검토하고, 기술의 단계별 특성을 반영할 수 있는 모델로 고도화 하도록 추가적인 연구를 수행하고자 한다.

블랙 숄즈 모델을 이용한 잠재적 풍력발전 위치의 경제적 가치분석 (The Economic Value Analysis of the Potential Wind Farm Site Using the Black-Scholes Model)

  • To mitigate the environmental impacts of the energy sector, the government of South Korea has made a continuous effort to facilitate the development and commercialization of renewable energy. As a result, the efficiency of renewable energy plants is not a consideration in the potential site selection process. To contribute to the overall sustainability of this increasingly important sector, this study utilizes the Black-Scholes model to evaluate the economic value of potential sites for off-site wind farms, while analyzing the environmental mitigation of these potential sites in terms of carbon emission reduction. In order to incorporate the importance of flexibility and uncertainty factors in the evaluation process, this study has developed a site evaluation model focused on system dynamics and real option approaches that compares the expected revenue and expected cost during the life cycle of off-site wind farm sites. Using sensitivity analysis, this study further investigates two uncertainty factors (namely, investment cost and wind energy production) on the economic value and carbon emission reduction of potential wind farm locations.

수치해석을 이용한 수증기 개질 반응기의 다양한 경계조건 및 형상의 영향 (Effect of various boundary conditions and geometries in steam reformer using numerical analysis)

  • Steam reforming reaction of natural gas is an important process for fuelcell commercialization. In this paper, steam reforming reaction is studied by numerical method. Pseudo-homogeneous model is incorporated for chemical reactions and one medium approach is used to take into account thermally equilibrium phenomena between catalyst and bulk gas. The model is validated with our experimental results under the same operating conditions. Because performance of reformer has relation to heat flux from wall, heat flux profiles was investigated by using Nusselt number. Value of Nusselt number in steam reformer is larger than one in channel, which does not have chemical reaction because steam reforming reaction is an endothermic reaction. When the difference of Nusselt number at the front and the rear is larger, performance is improved.
