This study investigates the yoga clothing market for women over 50 years old. The study found that the target demographic felt that many brands were participating in the Yoga Wear market, but most targeted 20-30 year old women. They felt it was difficult to find brands for women over 50 years old. One common complaint by the target demographic was that they experienced discomfort when wearing Yoga Wear currently available in the market. They attributed this to the fact that even the largest sizes available were not appropriate for their body size. They also noted that there is a large variety of designs presently available in the market; however, most are too colorful and revealing for their tastes. Females in their 50s or older preferred less colorful and less revealing clothes. They noted that they reacted sensitively to fat in the forearms due to changes in body shape as they grew older and wanted looser clothes. Elasticity and hygroscopicity of material are therefore very important buying criteria for the target demographic. These criteria were used to propose a prototype yoga suit designed for women over 50 years old.

Unlike nail care, nail art is a field with strong decorative elements that decorate the surface of the nail. In line with the trend of the times, which freely expresses one's personality, nail art is establishing itself as a definite and a key area in the beauty industry. Currently, design creation and technology developments are important, with the release of various nail materials and new trends that spread through mass media. Despite the great developments in the nail beauty industry, there is a lack for nail artists. Due to this fact, it is considered a necessary to combine nail art with the contemporary art styles, which have various motifs of design, and to study nail art design using them. In response, this study selected art from the Rococo era, where delicate and colorful decorative elements were at their peak, to consider the artistic styles of the time and present them in various nail designs. This study would like to expand the scope of new nail designs by suggesting colorful and feminine designs to women, who are the main customers of nail salon. In addition, the purpose of this study is to provide nail artists with basic materials that can be used in creative ideas and expressions, such as 2D and 3D nail designs, and composite nail design art, which are the art areas for nail art.

The effects of packaging materials on preserving the functional component of pine bud beverage stored under UV (ultraviolet) light exposure conditions were studied. The order of UV light blocking properties of the selected packages was: opaque can> opaque PET (polyethylene terepthalate) with green lamination=transparent PET with 10% PEN (polyethylene naphthalate) blending> transparent PET, and did not depend on film thickness in specified range. At 20${^{\circ}C}$, the order of preserving degree of original color and endobornyl acetate, which is quality index of pine bud beverage, was the same as above. Exposure to UV light can cause of deterioration of functional food components, but green color lamination and blending of PEN materials with transparent PET help to preserve the UV sensitive pine bud beverage components. However, the treated PET bottles have poorer preservation capabilities than the opaque cans. Transparent PET with PEN blending, in particular, will be very useful packaging material for colorful functional beverage preservation by helping to protect the ingredients while attracting consumer attention.

The purpose of this study were to (1) suggest that the combination of self-concept and innovation-theory could help in fashion marketing strategies and (2) to find unique characteristics of fashion innovators in self-concept. For this purposes, the self-concept theories and the related research studies were reviewed, and a valid and reliable self-report scale was used to measure fashion innovativeness for 236 female college students. The t-test were used to compare the self-concept items between innovators and followers. The results are as follows; 1. The fashion consumption is a manifestation of self image and consumers choose products that are consistent with their self-concept. 2. Fashion innovators describe themselves as more modern, indulgent, colorful, vain, liberal, delicated, dominant, and organized than followers. The implications of the findings for fashion merchandising are discussed.

There are various kinds of patterns on Li brocade textile of Hainan province in China. Those patterns are rich and colorful. Li (黎族) traditional brocade is an ancient exquisite craftsmanship and a world cultural heritage. This study analyzed and categorized Li brocade pattern of traditional Chinese textiles. Li (黎族) traditional brocade is an ancient exquisite craftsmanship. Based on the research of classifications of Li brocade patterns, expound the application of women's costume. The patterns of Li brocade textile of Hainan province analyzed through three levels: design transforming, meaning prolongation, and refining spirit. The patterns were explored the feasibility way to inherit the patterns of Li brocade for the modern fashion product design. The results showed that Li brocade textile pattern of Hainan province were images sourced from local environment and geographical terrain. They contained the nation's history memory, religion, hope for life of the Li nationality. Those patterns can be categorized as human figure pattern, animal pattern, geometric pattern, appliance or architecture pattern, and Chinese character pattern.

When considering clothing of the North American Indians, it is important to understand historical background of the North American Indians. With the coming of he Europeans, the North American Indians adopted new materials of clothing and ornamentation and added European elements to their own dresses. New materials appeared in textiles, beadswork, and metalwork. The introduction of the "true" loom and steel needle by the Spanish led in the New World to the development of a weaving culture. Cotton cloth, in calico prints, gingham, or plain were made into dresses, and colorful applique, patchwork designs adapted from the white women. Cloth made an immediate impact, replacing skin that is so time-consuming in preparation. Glass beads, pony beads, seed beads and ribbons were used to create adornment Indian clothing. Brass, tin and silver were used among Indian metalworkers to make some ring, necklace, bracelet, etc.

Nanostructured metal oxides have been widely used in the research fields of photoelectrochemistry, photochemistry and opto-electronics. Dye-sensitized solar cell is a typical example because it is based on nanostructured $TiO_2$. Since the discovery of dye-sensitized solar cell in 1991, it has been considered as a promising photovoltaic solar cell because of low-cost, colorful and semitransparent characteristics. Unlike p-n junction type solar cell, dye-sensitized solar cell is photoelectrochemical type and is usually composed of the dye-adsorbed nanocrystalline metal oxide, the iodide/tri-iodide redox electrolyte and the Pt and/or carbon counter electrode. Among the studied issues to improve efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cell, nanoengineering technologies of metal oxide particle and film have been reviewed in terms of improving optical property, electron transport and electron life time.

Nowadays' culture' is an important topic of conversation and rigorous researches have been done about the cultures of our neighboring countries such as China and Japan. It is expected that studies concerning applications of each traditional culture in modern design will be made rigorously in the near future. In this context this study chose five-star hotel restaurants located in Korea and investigated how the Korean, Chinese and Japanese cultures are incorporated into their modern interior design. The data were classified by space and design elements. The results show that colorful Korean identity(or Koreanity) was applied in Korean restaurants rather than the simplicity and naturalness of traditional space. As for Chinese restaurants, a large scale of space which Chinese traditional space reveals was not adopted because of their location too, but brilliant patterns and colors were used consistently. The typical Japanese style of simple lines, colors and materials were reflected in Japanese restaurants.

The meaning of the color which has from modern interior space has played important role, i.e. color itself Is the concept creation tool as well as the unique expression sphere in field of interior space far away from fixed idea relevant to the existing color which was only simple decoration or secondary element in space. Thus, this current work expresses that the color is related with decoration effect as well as basic designed-conceptual work process including the space is formed. Furthermore, through the side-composition with color, It activates the various space aspect perceptually, which created the colorful environment in using lightning, reflection of glass and penetrated nature etc. The keyword on color concept is as like various aspects, third dimension, non-materiality and symbolical meaning. In addition, it provides the color space equipped with functionality and artistry capable to arouse the diverse sensual capacity to space users on default of color image language.

화이트 밸런스를 유지해야 하는 이유는 입력 이미지의 컬러 밸런스와 동질의 화질 유지를 위하거나, 혹은 이미지를 개선할 때 화질 균일 성을 유지하기 위함이다. 그러나 기존 컬러 개선 방식들은 화이트 밸런스 보존에 관계없이 컬러 개선이 이루어지기 때문에 컬러 개선 전과 후의 화이트 밸런스가 다르게 나타난다. 이 논문에서는 색 순응 변환을 이용하여 화이트 밸런스를 보존하면서 자연스러운 컬러 이미지 개선 및 컬러 측정 알고리즘을 제안한다. 그 결과는 제안된 알고리즘은 Color Naturalness Index 와 Color Colorful Index 라고 풀리는 객관적 방법뿐만 아니라 주관적인 방법 에서도 개선됨을 확인하였다. 알고리즘의 복잡도는 낮으므로 현실 어플리케이션에서도 유용하게 이용될 것이다.
