This Study is about the color images oi clothes in the early 20th century in the Eastern and Western culture and the recreation of this color images through modern costume design in film. The aim of this study is to show how early 20th century color has born reinterpreted through present film costumes and how different cultural perspectives can influence color images. For the purposes of this study, 30 pictures of clothing, representative of the early 20th century, as well as films which have been internationally recognized for their costume design and strong cultural identity('Farewell M) 'Concubine', 'Raise the Red Lantern', 'Chicago' and 'The English Patient') were chosen and analyzed. The color image of these photographs and scenes from the movies were divided by Pantone Solid Chips and categorized by color groups such as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, neutral and metallic. The analysis results of the color images in the early 20th century showed that the red group was used a lot in both cultures and the orange group was more often used in the West. In regards to the yellow group, goldish yellow were commonly used in the West but pale yellow was preferred in the East. The green group more used In the West but the blue group appears more in the East. Also, there were differences in color combination, texture and technique which demonstrates different cultural color recognition and association. In the case of film color image, present color image was added to past color image. In the West, color was used as a tool for visualizing the state of characters' mind and the mood of movies' story but in the East color image was intended to make the character stand out by changing the value and chroma. By comparing the color image of clothes from the early 20th century and color image from film in the West and the East, it is possible to analyze the cultural symbolic image of color. This study is one of first trials to analyze the cultural differences in rotor images and their symbolic meaning. Thus, further studies should persue to find out the influence of culture on the rotor image in terms of specific quantity and quality.

Today, apartment is the most common residence type and various behavior occurs in living room space of apartments. Active usage of living room in modem life increases user's desire of wanting a better environment and leads to find various methods such as remodeling. At the point when considering moving or remodeling, this study focuses on the change of lighting color as it is one of the methods for initial stage with moderate price. As living room is easily influenced by lighting, providing active environment to support inhabitant's behavior through the use of various lighting sources will cut down unnecessary remodeling costs and may be the most simple method to actualize lighting environment for inhabitant's behavior. To give change with the least effort, change in artificial lighting environment was attempted with combinations of lighting color and switching on lights according to illuminating location. This study suggested the capability of changing lighting environment of previous living room area by exchanging lighting sources in lighting equipment in order to satisfy the required behaviors of inhabitant.

Water management treatment of coastal region has been an important problem in Jeju city since the distributions of pipeline of the pumping system made a bad view in coastal region. To solve the problem, we observed the pipelines that are on the surface around the coastal region from Tapdong to Doduhang. From the observations, we found that Todong and Dodu areas were not unsightliness because the all pipelines were located in underground. However, the other areas, such area Yongdam, Handugi, Yongdam fishing village, had a serious problem for the coastal landscape view. To solve the problem, at we estimated coastal land color characteristics of Jeju city based on the observation of the pipelines. The estimated color panel shows that the green, blue and grey colors are a dominant factors of the Jeju coastal region. Based on the color panel, we proposed two methods, that is, one is a short time treatment, the other is a long time one. The short is based on the colour treatment, which is pipeline colour changing into surround natural one. The long time is the construction plan design method. Although the later method was very useful in Jeju island. However, it takes a lot of time and money. Therefore, in the situation, the short time is the better than the long time one.

In this paper, we propose a face detection technique for still pictures which sequentially uses a skin-color model and a support vector machine (SVM). SVM is a learning algorithm for solving the classification problem. Some studies on face detection have reported superior results of SVM over neural networks. The SVM method searches for a face in a picture while changing the size of the window. The detection accuracy and the processing time of SVM vary largely depending on the complexity of the background of the picture or the size of the face. Therefore, we apply a face candidate area detection method using a skin-color model as a preprocessing technique. We compared the method using SVM alone with that of the proposed method in respect to face detection accuracy and processing time. As a result, the proposed method showed improved processing time while maintaining a high recognition rate.

The objectives of study are to develop a peripheral device on the endoscopic surgery system. These systems are consist of the following units. They are a color monitor of high resolution, light source, computer system and endoscopic camera with a C-mount head, irrigator, color video printer, Super VHS recorder and a system rack. The color monitor is a NTSC monitor for monitoring the image projected of the surgical section. The lightsource is necessary to irradiate the interior of a body via an optic fiber, The light projector will adapt the brightness in accordance with changing distance from the object. A miniature camera using a color CCD chip and computer system is used to capture and control an image of the surgical section[1]. The video printer is a 300 DPI resolution using thermal sublimation methods, which is developed by Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. The specification of the endoscopic data management system is consist of storage of a captured image and pathological database of patients [2-4].

Vibration of string is transmitted to the front plate through bridge to cause resonance of the instrument body in viol family string instruments. Therefore. the properties. geometrical shape. and positioning of the bridge are expected to have some effect on the sound color. In this study the strain and the stress in the bridge. and the force exerted on the top plate by the bridge as the string vibrates the bridge in cello are calculated through simulation based on the theory of elasticity. The modes of vibration and the characteristic frequencies are also found. Furthermore. the effect of geometric shape of bridge on sound color is studied in terms of frequency response. The results of this study show that the vibration characteristics of bridge is quite complex and the properties and the geometrical shape of bridge have significant effect on sound color, and therefore. the sound color of a cello can be controlled by changing the geometrical shape of bridge.

Hanbok is a our own history and tradition and is an icon of Korean history and culture. Today, the costumes are moving around the world fashion trend due to the development of mass media and internet at the same time. This is an important clue to marketing activities and can be used for predictive analysis. Although Hanbok is changing little by little every year, research on the trend of Hanbok is rare. This study analyzed the results of searching for 'Hanbok' as a keyword in Portal Site Naver and posting a customized purchase of Hanbok for marriage between 2016 and 2017. The analysis was based on analyzing the photos uploaded, and analyzing purchase reason in the On-line review. Most buyer of Hanbok purchased for prepare marriage. The choice of a customized hanbok is mostly to search online or to use the fair. The most important factor in choosing a custom Hanbok that appeared in online reviews is color and then price. The color of the jacket is mostly light color and the off-white color is the most used and the long skirt such as the pink system, the chorale system and the red system, and it can be seen that the pink skirt is overwhelmingly large. In the design of Hanbok, The sleeves were straight and narrow, and the length was the chest line. The collar were enlarged and widened. 고름 used the sole color instead of the jacket and skirt color, and it was narrow not long. skirt's pleats was wide, and designed to overlap with double color of the fabric.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to spectrophotometrically evaluate the influence of porcelain layer thickness and substructure. Materials and Methods: Four groups of porcelain specimens (metal and ceramic substructure) was prepared for analysis. Color parameters were measured with spectrophotometer and color difference (${\Delta}E*$) were calculated. T-test and one-way ANOVA test were used to find out significant difference and Tukey test was used to identify where the difference ware. Results: Increasing the thickness of porcelain decreased values (P < 0.05). Increasing the thickness of porcelain on ceramic substructure decreased the $a^*$ (P < 0.05) but, the $b^*$ were not statistically different. Total color difference (${\Delta}E*$) were below 1 when the difference of porcelain thickness were 0.5 mm. Conclusion: The thickness of porcelain are the factor effecting on color. This study will help the color are controlled by changing the thickness of porcelain clinically.

Character conveys rich storytelling and various design elements. Domestic characters are changing and developing in various forms through SNS and offline sources, which are being developed in the aspect of contents industry. The purpose of this study is to find out and discuss the factors that character users are using Korean characters as storytelling and color factor. In terms of storytelling, they prefer adventure, fantasy, absurd and humorous stories. In terms of color, it seems that they prefer a character with simple and simple color/ warm color and warm / cute color composition. On the other hand, characters with a simple story, which is the main subject of early childhood education, fashion, or toys in the aspect of storytelling, are not preferred. In terms of color, it was shown that 4 or more colors were combined without a main color. These main colorless characters gave complex feelings that are not preferred. In terms of storytelling, it is necessary to develop and develop the contents of OSMU(One-source Multi use) through story development with adventure and fantasy structure. In terms of color, it is necessary to configure the user with a simple and simple color which is preferred by the users. Also, the assembly robot toy character needs to increase the satisfaction of the character through simple color composition. As a result of this study, the factors that satisfy the users in terms of storytelling and color are derived. These results will contribute to the development of theoretical aspects, storytelling aspects, and character design industry aspects. Despite the significance of the above paper, it was inevitable to limit the research on the analysis of the storytelling of specific characters, the research through the color analysis framework, the accurate data analysis on the color analysis, and the simple comparative analysis of one.

There is such a kind of characteristic by using the computer digitization technology's interaction. It not only provides the authoring tool, and also has the user-friendly window. The paper based on this kind of interaction, through the sound and the color exchange of information, as well as each information's digitization, carries on about the scientific dielectric related advance research. This research carries on the analysis to the people to the color and the sound perceptual characteristic first, then makes comparison to the people regarding the color and the music perceptual cognition.. The research is about the research stage of the interactive sound installation creation, which shape is carried on the analysis through the extraction image in color. It is based on the perceptual characteristic,is that the algorithm manufacture reasearch of how to make color sonification. Through capturing the non-stop changing colors by camera,it transforms colors into music. The paper's foundation is the fundamental algorithm manufacture of experimental music composition.
