Collaborative learning encourages the use of high-level cognitive strategies, critical thinking, and interpersonal relationships. Despite these advantages, most instructors reveal the difficulties of using project-based collaborative learning; a common problem is the failure of the group to work effectively together. Thus, this study attempted to provide practical advice on group composition with self-regulation. In a college course, 31 groups with 129 students were asked to discuss and prepare the final presentation material and present it together as a collaborative work. All students' self-regulation skills were measured at the beginning of the semester, and the collective self-regulation was computed as an average of the individual scores of each group. The results of regression analysis indicate that the group's collective self-regulation shows a highly significant positive effect on group performance and satisfaction, as self-regulation predicts individual academic performance. The results also show that there is a significant positive relationship between students' self-regulation and participation in group work.

In this article, I discuss an International Collaborative Writing Course on the Internet (ICWCI) that focused on the learning effectiveness Korean EFL students (KEFLSs) perceived to be necessary to exchange with international EFL students (IEFLSs). The course development was based on an internet-based instructional module, applying widely accepted EFL theories for modern foreign language instruction: collaborative learning, process writing, project-based learning, and integrated approaches. Data from online discussion forum, mid-of-semester and end-of-semester surveys, and final oral interviews are conducted and discussed. KEFLSs and IEFLSs were questioned about (a) changes in attitude towards computers assisted language learning (CALL); (b) effect of computer background on motivation; (c) perception of their acquired writing skills; and (d) attitude towards collaborative learning. The result of this study demonstrated that the majority of ICWCI participants said they enjoyed the course, gained fruitful confidence in English communication and computer skills, and felt that they made significant progress in writing skills. In spite of positive benefits created by the ICWCI, it was found that there were some issues that are crucial to run appropriate networked collaborative courses. This study demonstrates that participants' computer skills, basic language proficiency, and local time differences are important factors to be considered when incorporating the ICWCI as these may affect the quality of online instructional courses and students' motivation toward network based collaboration interaction.

The need for total enterprise management that covers from accepting orders, design, cost, procurement, manufacture, and delivery has been recently raised in order for efficient project management of small and medium size plant construction enterprises. This trend is reflected in the introduction of EPM(Enterprise Project Management) solutions by some shipbuilding enterprises and large construction corporations. In step with the trend, small and medium size plant construction enterprises are enabled to provide knowledge base in terms of reducing cost and production period and managing portfolio for accepting orders and attaining contract by inducing customized EPM This study presents a design of customized EPM based on a case study of a company. It exhibits a collaborative/collaboration resource-supply model which can be universally applied to small and medium size job-order production enterprises. The research discusses that under the assumption that information is shared internally between departments on planning, supply, manufacture, and quality control in order to create collaborative environment and close participation is created externally between suppliers and orderers, productivity can be improved in cost reduction through planning efficient collaborative supply model.

The purposes of the study were to examine engineering students' concerns and problems while they were choosing a project topic in interdisciplinary collaboration and to suggest ways to support them in an early stage of collaboration phase. To answer the research questions, we conducted a case study with engineering participants in GCTI 2015, an interdisciplinary collaborative and creative group project. Multiple data sources including focus group interviews, online survey and researchers' observation notes were used to triangulate research findings. We found four main concerns of engineering students. These concerns include (1) lack of self-efficacy, (2) limited resources, (3) lack of shared, meaningful, and common goals, and (4) lack of content knowledge. Based on these concerns we proposed four supports in an early stage of the collaborative project. These supports includes (1) implementing an orientation program, (2) providing opportunities for social interactions, (3) providing expert feedback, and (4) providing consultation for team building.

This project aims to design and develop a prototype for an agent that support online collaborative learning. Online collaborative learning, which has emerged as a new form of education in the knowledge-based society, is regarded as an effective method for improving practical and highly advanced problem-solving abilities. Collaborative learning involves complicated processes, such as organizing teams, setting common goals, performing tasks, and evaluating the outcome of team activities. Thus, a teacher may have difficulty promoting and evaluating the entire process of collaborative learning, and a system may need to be developed to support it. Therefore, to promote interaction among learners in the process of collaborative learning, this study designed an extensible collaborative learning agent (ECOLA) for an online learning environment.

This study aims to evaluate healthcare providers' satisfaction and demands pertaining to the collaborative first-stage pilot project between Korean medicine and Western medicine. This survey was conducted via electronic mail among 33 healthcare providers participating in the pilot project. Likert type 5-point scale or Likert type 7-point scale was used to evaluate each item. The response of '${\geq}4$' on the 5-point scale, and '${\geq}5$' on the 7-point scale were analyzed as positive answers. A total of 27 healthcare providers (81.8%) responded, of which 9 were western medical doctors (33.3%) and 18 were Korean medical doctors (66.7%). In respect to satisfaction of the pilot project, 88.9% gave positive responses on improved patients' convenience, 59.3% on treatment efficiency and 55.6% on diagnosis efficiency. In terms of self-evaluation on the pilot project, 70.4% gave positive answers on changes in quality of collaborative treatment, 74.1% on cooperation of results, 63.0% on cooperation of structure and 51.9% on cooperation of process. In terms of demand for collaborative treatment or the pilot project, 'standardized manual' and 'simplification of administrative procedures' showed highest demand, resulting up to 88.9%, followed by 85.2% demanding more public relations and 63.9% demanding enlargement of participating hospitals. This survey revealed that healthcare providers are generally satisfied with patients' convenience and treatment effects. Further studies are needed to develop a standardized manual, simplified administrative procedures, and expanded pilot project contents.

E-trade is important that SMEs can do international business with activity. However, SMEs are facing psychological and economic barriers to e-trade. Therefore, SMEs depend on intermediaries for e-trading. In this context, APEC carried out the APEC Global B2B Interoperability Project to promote e-trade and increase benefits for member countries from 2002 to 2004. Especially this project emphasizes a collaboration with e-marketplaces. It has significance in that it is a new model to help SMEs do international trade. This study analyzes the APEC project in terms of technology and business and evaluates the project as a collaborative business model.

In this paper, we propose a model of the collaborative authoring tool and its implementation results. In the 'collaborative authoring and automatic distribution system,' users can create eBooks by using partial works (primary and edited sources) on the basis of copyright information registered by the primary author. The Collaborative Authoring Tool is a part of "the collaborative authoring and automatic distribution system" developed through research on "the development of key technologies of social work protection and content mashup tools" as an R&D project granted by the Korea Copyright Commission from 2013. In the collaborative authoring and automatic distribution system, authors of primary sources such as images, audio clips and video clips for eBooks can register them together with the copyright information; users can edit the primary sources to produce secondary sources and in turn register the secondary sources on the system; and users can create and distribute eBooks by using the sources registered in the system.

교수자들은 팀기반 프로젝트 학습을 통해 학생들이 협업능력과 실생활 문제해결력을 기르기를 기대한다. 하지만 프로젝트 학습에서 학생들은 단순분업방식으로 문제를 해결하려 할 뿐 아니라 학습전이가 잘 일어나지 않는 경향이 있다. 학생들이 협업의 시너지를 내고 서로의 지식을 이용하여 학습전이를 일어나게 하기 위해서, 이 연구에서는 교류기억체계(TMS) 기반 협력학습 모형을 개발하여 적용하고 그 효과를 검증하고자 한다. 교류기억체계 기반 협력학습 모형은 과학개념을 학습하면서 동료의 전문성을 파악하는 교류기억체계 개발 단계, 간단한 협력적 문제해결을 통해 신뢰를 기르는 교류기억체계 정교화 단계, 마지막으로 조직화된 지식처리를 하는 교류기억체계 적용의 3단계로 이루어져 있다. 첫 번째 단계에서 동료교수법을 통해 과학개념을 학습함과 동시에 그룹 구성원이 서로 어떤 지식을 잘 알고 있는지 전문성을 파악한다. 두 번째 단계에서 잘 정의된 실험 문제를 협력적으로 해결하며 근전이를 경험한다. 세 번째 단계에서 근전이 경험을 바탕으로 프로젝트 수행을 위한 원전이를 통해 빈약하게 정의된 문제를 해결한다. 이 모형을 기반으로 기하광학과 음파에 관한 15주 교육 프로그램을 만들어 대학생들에게 적용하였다. 이 중 프로젝트 1개를 적용한 5주간의 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 적용결과, 일반 프로젝트 학습을 적용한 그룹의 TMS변화는 유의하지 않았음에 비해, 교류기억체계 기반 협력학습모형을 적용한 그룹의 TMS는 단계적으로 향상되었고, 첫째 주와 마지막 주의 차이는 통계적으로 유의하였다. 또한 실험집단은 비교집단에 비해 프로젝트 수행에서 학습전이가 더 잘 일어난 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 학생들이 협력을 통해 시너지를 얻는 방법을 익히고, 학습한 내용을 문제해결에 잘 적용하도록 하는데 교류기억체계기반 협력학습 모형이 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

본 연구는 중소기업과 정부출연(연)이 수행한 공동연구개발 과제의 성과에 영향을 주는 요인들을 연구책임자의 역량과 파트너십 통합, 공동연구경험 등을 중심으로 분석하였다. 실증연구를 위해 우리나라의 대표적인 중소기업 공동연구개발 지원 정부출연연구기관인 K 연구원과 공동연구 프로젝트를 수행한 중소기업에 대해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 772개 기업을 대상으로 설문지를 발송하여 이 중 256개의 설문지가 회수되었으며, 회수된 설문지 중 결측치 등을 제외한 총 149개의 응답 자료를 대상으로 분석하였다. 실증 분석 결과를 살펴보면, 연구책임자의 역량과 산 연 간 연구주체 간의 연구 성과에 대한 시각차이 등으로 인하여 발생하는 갈등을 해소시켜 주는 정서적 통합, 과정적 통합 및 계약적 통합 등의 파트너십 통합이 경제적 성과와 기술적 성과에 영향을 주는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 또한, 참여기업의 최근 3년간 공동연구경험을 조절변수로 하여 연구책임자 역량과 파트너십 통합이 경제적 성과와 기술적 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지에 대한 분석 결과, 경제적 성과는 조절효과가 없었으며, 기술적 성과에는 연구책임자 역량, 계약적 통합, 과정적 통합만이 조절효과가 있다고 분석됨으로써 부분적인 조절효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다.
