We have constructed three characteristic internship programs which were based on the different aspects of view by the grant in aid from MEXT of Japanese government. The most outstanding program is what we call "Market Internship", where the students directly approach the market in which the engineering technologies are utilized. Then they must find out the problems and advantages of engineering technologies from the view of consumers. The experience would result in the enhancement of motivation to study the engineering technologies. It would be substantially effective in engineering education curriculums that the engineers of private companies in which university students will get their own jobs in near future could take important roles to conduct them. We believe that this activity would effective in reducing gaps they would feel between before and after getting jobs in practical society, and lowering the ratio of unemployment after getting jobs.

The hip-hop, which began with subculture of black people in Harlem, have changed variously in musical history after the times, which has become the culture phenomenon that had controlled dancing, fashion, and further consciousness of the new generation around the world in 1990s. Since Jean Patou first used Graffiti on clothing in 1920s, graffiti art has been expressed through various methods in many designers' works. The purpose of this study is to develop 'The Hip-Hop' clothing design which express major images in works of Jean-Michel Basquiat, a representative painter of Graffiti art in modern fashion. The concept is Jean Casual Look representing Young Street Culture. Breaking from existing strong legitimate hip-hop styles, clothing design expresses funny, healthy, comfortable, and active feelings. Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop program were used to design Hip-Hop clothing. With the result that the images on Basquiat's works applied to the hip-hop clothing design, it is suggested that the works of artists are worthy of practical use as factors of a high value-added design, which corresponds with collaboration appearing in modern design variously.

Purpose : This study examined the factors influencing posttraumatic and conflict management styles for nursing performance in intensive care units (ICUs). Methods : In this study, 250 nurses from eight general hospitals in three cities participated. Structured self-report questionnaires were used to collect data on posttraumatic, conflict management styles, and nursing performance. Finally, the data were analyzed by SAS 9.3 program. Results : The mean of total sum scores was 31.29, and the high risk of posttraumatic symptoms was 61.2%. It was noted that nursing performance is significantly correlated with collaboration, compromise, accommodation styles, and intrusion. Collaboration styles (${\beta}=0.39$, p<.001) and hyperarousal (${\beta}=-0.22$, p=.050), ICU experience below 1 year (${\beta}=-0.21$, p=.027) and that of 5-10 years (${\beta}=-0.19$, p=.049), and compromise style (${\beta}=0.16$, p=.049) were found to be the factors influencing nursing performance with 35.9% explanatory power value of regression model. Conclusions : The results of the study reveal that conflict management styles, hyperarousal, and ICU experience are factors predicting the successful performance of ICUs. These findings emphasize the need of developing interventions to reduce stress symptoms and conflicts in ICUs.

The creation of academic start-up firms is an important and practical issue in the management of technology in Japan. The present study designs a model for creating academic start-up firms that fits into the social context. It focuses on the case of FIRST Program, an initiative that consists of 30 projects in innovative arenas, analyses the presence of large-scale public funding, and investigates the role of venture capitalists as support personnel in each project. As a result, the presence and significance of 'long-term escort' by an 'entrepreneurial venture capitalist (EP-VCist)' were confirmed as common features across the cases observed. EP-VCist refers to a person who can maintain and fulfil dual roles at a university and a venture capital firm, and who can take the lead throughout the venturing process as a risk taker. 'Long-term escort' is a form of support that reduces risks in the venturing process by supporting university researchers in the pre-entrepreneurial stage and by exerting a robust bridging role between a university and an industry.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the programs and the roles of Architectural Centers by their types in terms of the main body of organization. In order to figure out the programs and the roles, we examined the possibility to have different roles and varied collaboration ways depending on their main body types : central, municipal, architectural associations, and other private sectors. We also investigated the process of establishment of the Centers, their programs to promote the public and private partnerships focusing on the quality improvement of public architecture, research & investigations, education & publication, and cultural exchange & events. From this study, we could find out the differentiated management strategies and the ways of collaboration in public & private sectors for architectural centers and understand which aspects should be taken into consideration in the establishment of architectural centers. Centers initiated by public sectors generally have been focusing on supporting funds and centers initiated by private sectors relatively have developed the field oriented programs activating collaborative network and public participation.

Purpose: Focusing on the role of the special contract to collaborate the supply chain operations, this study investigates how the revenue sharing contract affects the performance of Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI). Research design, data, and methodology: The optimization model is formulated to represent two stage supply chain system where the supplier and retailer manage the operations to maximize their own profits. Three supply chain models including the traditional system, VMI, and VMI with revenue sharing contract are compared in the numerical examples. Results: According to the numerical analysis, the entire supply chain system has greater profit under VMI than the traditional system, while VMI alone sacrifices the supplier's profit. With the proper sets of revenue share ratio and wholesale price discount rate, VMI with revenue sharing contract results in the increased profit for both supplier and retailer compared with VMI alone as well as the traditional system. Conclusions: The numerical examples imply that VMI, when it is combined with the revenue sharing contract, can be the effective collaboration program that satisfies every supply chain member. To make VMI with revenue sharing contract to be fair to all supply chain members, they need to agree on the appropriate contract content.

The purpose of the domestic physician scientist support program is to promote the development of various biotechnology. Therefore, it can be said that examining whether the purpose of support is being faithfully implemented has an important meaning for the future domestic biotechnology development ecosystem. Therefore, this study limited the subject of analysis to 79 MD-PhD experts who participated or participated in doctor scientist programs at major universities in Korea. Among them, a total of 25 researchers, one researcher from each classroom in parasitology, microbiology, pharmacology, biochemistry, physiology, and anatomy, which had the highest paper citations in the last five years (2016-2021), were selected to examine the relationship between joint research. It was selected as the subject of review. As a result, 25 selected pseudo-scientists(MD-PhD) identified domestic and foreign researchers who participated as co-researchers when publishing in overseas academic journals for the last 5 years(2016-2021), and identified the affiliation and name of the top 5 among them, as well as the pseudo-scientist(MD-PhD), it was possible to identify the relationship of a total of 123 co-researchers(excluding 2 missing values) of the top 5 co-researchers with a high degree of cooperation with respect to the researcher(25 in total), and the collaboration of pseudo-scientists. Relationships, major researchers, and research institutes were examined. Nodexl Basic 2018 ver. (Microsof) was used for the analysis, and the relationship between researchers could be visualized by applying network analysis techniques.

Purpose: Focusing on the complex supply chain operations beyond the simple dyadic relationship, this study evaluates the performance of the revenue sharing contract in three stage supply chain system. Research design, data, and methodology: The optimization model is developed to describe the supply chain system where one manufacturer, one wholesaler, and one retailer exist and pursue the maximum level of their own profits. In the numerical examples of the proposed supply chain model, two types of the revenue sharing contract, pairwise and spanning methods, are tested and their performances are compared with the traditional system. Results: The numerical analysis reveals that both types of the revenue sharing contract outperform the traditional system. All supply chain members can achieve the improved profits only when they determine the proper combination of revenue share ratios and price discount rates. Conclusions: This study finds out that both pairwise and spanning revenue sharing contracts can make the positive outcome that is acceptable to all members in three stage supply chain system. When the proper contract content is agreed among the supply chain members, the revenue sharing contract has the potential to be the practically feasible collaboration program for the multiple stage supply chain system.

Based on the analysis of 174 Young Startups Project Papers from university students majoring in entrepreneurship, this study aimed to identify the thoughts and characteristics of prospective entrepreneurs and derive their main agendas. Detailed information was collected on their preparation and ambitions for entrepreneurship, market research in their fields of interest, analysis of potential target users, requirements, and team management. We refined, categorized, and interpreted 84,818 words across 396 digital pages on LMS, and visualized using word clouds program. Additionally, interviews about peer learning were conducted by Zoom. The analysis revealed unique differences in students' perspectives on entrepreneurship based on their major, academic year, and gender. Also we could find that they actively utilize AI tech with a strong spirit of challenge in the startups. Interestingly, they emphasized horizontal communication and collaboration capabilities to improve productivity. This suggests the need to consider diversity in the design of entrepreneurship incubating content and programs for generation Z technically and academically.

"The engineering education program for environmental intention and value creation" has been executed from 2008 to 2010 in Suzuka National College of Technology, which program was promoted as "Good Practice for Education" by Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Japan. "Eco-car project" is one of these practical ecology/environment education programs. The project's members have been learning and researching the environmental managements by the process of design, manufacturing, and assembly of solar car, highly effective fuel consumption car (Eco-run car), electric vehicle and fuel-cell car. Also this project was supported by some professional experts of the local industries and community. The students learned the actual industrial technique, the engineering management and the structure of local industries by this project. In this paper, the environmental intention engineering design education with local industry collaboration is introduced.
