심층 학습 기법을 이용한 탄성파 자료 잡음 제거 적용사례 분석 (Case Analysis of Applications of Seismic Data Denoising Methods using Deep-Learning Techniques)

  • 최근 컴퓨터 하드웨어 성능의 급속한 발전으로 인해 계산 비용이 상대적으로 낮아지면서 기계 학습 기법을 지구물리학적 문제에 적용하는 사례가 점차 증가하고 있다. 특히 심층 학습 기법이 복잡하고 비선형적인 문제를 성공적으로 해결하는 사례가 많아지면서 큰 인기를 얻고 있다. 이 논문에서는 심층 학습 기법을 이용한 탄성파 자료 잡음 제거 적용사례를 조사하고 소개하였다. 감쇠하고자 하는 잡음 유형에 따라 일관성 잡음 적용사례, 무작위 잡음 적용사례, 일관성 잡음 및 무작위 잡음 적용사례로 분류하였고 해당 잡음 제거에 사용된 심층 학습 기법에 대해 조사하였다. 대표적인 심층 학습 기법인 심층 신경망은 탄성파 잡음 제거에 사용된 기존 기법과 달리 잡음의 특징을 스스로 학습하며 매개변수를 자동으로 최적화한다. 따라서 기존 기법에 비해 일반화 문제에 덜 민감하며 인적 비용을 절감할 수 있다. 또한 여러 연구 사례를 통해 계산 비용이나 잡음 제거 성능 측면에서도 심층 학습 기법이 뛰어난 성과를 달성하는 것을 보여주었다. 연구 결과들을 토대로 탄성파 잡음 제거에 사용된 심층 학습 기법의 장단점에 대해 분석하고 논의하였다.

A Study on High Resolution Ranging Algorithm for The UWB Indoor Channel

  • In this paper, we present a novel and numerically efficient algorithm for high resolution TOA(Time Of Arrival) estimation under indoor radio propagation channels. The proposed algorithm is not dependent on the structure of receivers, i.e, it can be used with either coherent or non-coherent receivers. The TOA estimation algorithm is based on a high resolution frequency estimation algorithm of Minimum-norm. The efficiency of the proposed algorithm relies on numerical analysis techniques in computing signal or noise subspaces. The algorithm is based on the two step procedures, one for transforming input data to frequency domain data and the other for estimating the unknown TOA using the proposed efficient algorithm. The efficiency in number of operations over other algorithms is presented. The performance of the proposed algorithm is investigated by means of computer simulations.. Throughout the analytic and computer simulation results, we show that the proposed algorithm exhibits superior performance in estimating TOA estimation with limited computational cost.

Partially Coherent MC-CDMA Downlink Performance in Rayleigh Fading Channels

  • Multucarrier code-division multiple access(MC-CDMA) is one of the promising technique for high capacity wireless communication. Hower the carrier phase error and frequency offest cause the performance degradation of MC-CDMA due to the inter-carrier interference. In this work, downlink performance of the partially coherent MC-CDMA is analytically derived in Rayleigh fading channels. The bit error rate sensitivity by combining method, Maxiaml ratio combining (MRC)and Equal gain combining(EGC), is compared as functions of phase errors. multi-user interference, and received signal-to-noise ratio. The results show that the susceptibility for the performance degradation of EGc and MRC is negligible for loop SNR's of above 15 dB and above 10 dB, respectivtely.

효율적인 대역폭을 갖는 QORC 변조의 성능 (Performacne of Bandwidth Efficient QORC Modulation)

  • 본 논문에서는 MSK보다 훨씬 효율적인 주파수 대역 특성을 갖는 QORC 변조 방식의 성능을 가진 백색 가우시안 잡음 하에서 분석하였다. 수신기는 QPSK 방식에서 사용되는 동기(Coherent) 수신기를 사용하고 신호 검출을 위한 샘플링 시간은 QORC 신호를 고려하여 [(2n-1)T, (2n+1)T]로 하였다. 분석 결과 QORC는 대역폭이 MSK에 비하여 1/16정도로 압축되며 성능면에서는 낮은 오류 발생 확률에서 약 1dB 정도의 전력을 더 필요로 하여 거의 동등하였다.

  • Reliable detection and parameter estimation of a radar cross section(RCS) fluctuating target have been known as a difficult task. To reduce the effect of RCS fluctuation, various diversity techniques have been considered. This paper presents a new method for synthesizing a covariance matrix applicable to a coherent multi-input multi-output(MIMO) radar with frequency diversity. It is achieved by efficiently combining covariance matrices corresponding to different carrier frequencies such that the signal-to-noise ratio(SNR) in the combined covariance matrix is maximized. The value of a synthesized covariance matrix is assessed by examining the phase curves of its entries and the improvement on direction of arrival(DOA) estimation.

  • 임펄스 잡음과 동일 채널 간섭 환경하에서 PSK 시스템의 오율 특성을 반송파대 잡음 전력비, 반송파대 간섭파 전력비, 임펄스 지수 및 신호와 간섭파간의 위상차의 함수로써 구명했다. 동기 위상 검출기의 출력에 대한 확률 밀도 함수(p.6.f.)의 일반식을 도출하여 2상 PSK 신호의 경우에 대한 수치 계산의 결과를 그래프로 나타냈다. 해석 결과 신호와 간섭파 간의 상대 위상차가 90℃일때 오율 특성이 가장 좋게됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • Sound intensity distributions and energy flow in the near field of dipole source system and flat plate were investigated. First, the effectiveness of complex acoustic intensity was proved by using mathmatical and experimental methods in order to indentify noise sources and transmission paths of dipole field which is effected by the presence of neighbouring coherent sources. Next, analytical complex acoustic intensity method was discussed and the characteristics and energy flow of sound induced from the plate are clarified. The velocity of plate obtained from Finite Element Method was used for calculation of complex acoustic intensity in the near field. Finally experimental complex acoustic intensity method was applied to a passenger car. It can be seen that complex acoustic intensity method using both of active and reactive intensity is vital in devising a strategy for the identification and the reduction of vibration and noise.

  • DPSKtlsgheodursodp 상가성 잡음과 간섭도가 존재할 경우, 다상 DPSK신호의 의 수신오율에 대한 이론적 해석을 행했다. 이에는 수신합성위상의 확율밀도함수(pdf)를 이용, 다상 DPSKtls호의 수신오율를 구하기 위한 간결한 일반식을 도출하여 2상, 4상 및 8상에 대해 수치계산후 상응한 CPSK 결과와 비교검토를 행했다.

Random Noise가 2차 Analog Phase-Locked Loop에 미치는 영향 (Random Noise Effect Upon 2nd Order Analog Phase-Locked Loop)

  • The phase-locked loop(PLL) is a communication receiver which operates as a coherent detector by continuously correcting the phase error. In this paper analysis for the Phase-error behavior of analog phase-locked loop (APLL) in the presence of additive white gaussian noise has been done theoretically and experimentally. A close form solution of the first-order loop is obtained and approximate solutions are derived for the second-order loops with RC, leadlag and perfect integrator filters. The perdormance of APLL's and their characteristics are also thoroughly investigated through experiments. In order to analyze the effect of the stochastic nature on nonlinear dynamics characteristics of the second order APLL, the phase error distribution and its variance have been obtained by using the Fokker-Planck equation. Theoretical results agree closely with those of experiment.
