  • The augmenting hydrologic data using a correlation procedure has been used to improve the estimates of the mean and variance at the site of interest with short record when one or more near by sites with longer records are available. The variance of the unbiased maximum likelihood estimator of $ derived by Moran based on the multivariate normal distribytion is modified into the form of Matalas and Jacobs for the biveriate normal distribution to get the critical minimum values of the multiple correlation coefficient which give the improvement for estimating the variance at the site of interest. Those values are tabulated for various lengths of short records and the number of sites.

  • In this paper, we introduce and investigate a new subclass of meromorphic functions associated with a certain integral operator on Hilbert space. For this class, we obtain several properties like the coefficient inequality, extreme points, radii of close-to-convexity, starlikeness and meromorphically convexity and integral transformation. Further, it is shown that this class is closed under convex linear combination.

  • In this paper, we have constructed subclasses of bi-univalent functions associated with ${\lambda}$-bi-pseudo-starlike functions in the unit disc U. Furthermore we established bound on the coefficients for the subclasses $S^{\lambda}_{\Sigma}(k,{\alpha})$ and $S^{\lambda}_{\Sigma}(k,{\beta})$.

  • In the present investigation, the author introduces two interesting subclasses of normalized meromorphic univalent functions $w=f(z)$ defined on $\tilde{\Delta}:=\{z{\in}\mathbb{C}:1<{\mid}z{\mid}<{\infty}\}$ whose inverse $f^{-1}(w)$ is also univalent meromorphic in $\tilde{\Delta}$. Estimates for the initial coefficients are obtained for the functions in these new subclasses.

  • A comprehensive class of starlike univalent functions defined by Dziok-Srivastava operator is introduced. Necessary and sufficient coefficient bounds are given for functions in this class to be starlike. Further distortion bounds, extreme points and results on partial sums are investigated.

  • In this paper, we defined new subclasses of Spirallike and Robertson functions by using concept of q-derivative operator. We investigate convolution properties and coefficient estimates for both classes q-Spirallike and q-Robertson functions denoted by ${\mathcal{S}}^{\lambda}_q[A,\;B]$ and ${\mathcal{C}}^{\lambda}_q[A,\;B]$, respectively.

  • In this paper, we investigate a new subclass $S^{{\varphi},{\lambda}}_{{\Sigma}_m}$ of ${\Sigma}_m$ consisting of analytic and m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions satisfying subordination in the open unit disk U. We consider the Fekete-$Szeg{\ddot{o}}$ inequalities for this class. Also, we establish estimates for the coefficients for this subclass and several related classes are also considered and connections to earlier known results are made.

  • We study a maximum principle for a uniformly elliptic second order differential operator in nondivergence form. We allow a bounded positive zeroth order coefficient in a certain type of unbounded domains. The results extend a result by J. Busca in a sense of domains, and we present a simple proof based on local maximum principle by Gilbarg and Trudinger with iterations.

  • In this paper, we consider a convex univalent function fα,β which maps the open unit disc 𝕌 onto the vertical strip domain Ωα,β = {w ∈ ℂ : α < ℜ < (w) < β} and introduce new subclasses of both close-to-convex and bi-close-to-convex functions with respect to an odd starlike function associated with Ωα,β. Also, we investigate the Fekete-Szegö type coefficient bounds for functions belonging to these classes.

Further, inclusion relations and necessary and sufficient conditions for the Poisson distribution series to belong to these subclasses are established.
