이종이관능형(異種二官能形) 반응성 Blue 염료의 개발 (Development of Reactive Blue Dyestuffs with Bi-functional Reactivity)

  • Diazotization of STA synthesized by the indirect diazotization method. The effect of catalyst and agitation (rpm) about STA and H-acid reaction were examined and the optimum conditions were investigated experimentally. The yields and characteristics of $1^{.st}$ coupling and diazotization synthesis were identified by HPLC and FT-IR analysis. $1^{.st}$ condensation of CNC and mPDSA were synthesized at $5^{\circ}C$ and pH=6.5. The conditions of alkaly coupling of H-acid were synthesized at $5^{\circ}C$ and pH=8. The condensation of products was identified by U. V. analysis. From this results, It was obtained to reactive dyestuffs of bi-functional reactivity with high fastness and high adsorption.

Easy Filling 및 Quick Obturation System을 이용한 열연화 충전법의 치근단 밀폐도 평가 (A COMPARISON OF THE APICAL SEAL PRODUCED BY EASY FILLING SYSTEM AND QUICK OBTURATION SYSTEM)

  • The aim of this study was to compare the apical sealing ability of a new thermoplasticized gutta-percha filling technique, the Easy Filling and the Quick Obturation system with lateral condensation technique and Thermafil system to evaluate their clinical acceptabilities. Fifty-two extracted single-rooted teeth were instrumented to #35 using the .04 taper ProFile system. Four groups of 12 teeth were obturated by lateral condensation technique. Thermafil system and two new thermoplasticized gutta-percha techniques, the Easy Filling system and Quick Obturation system (Meta Dental co. Ltd. Korea), respectively. Four teeth served as controls. After the teeth were immersed in 2% methylene blue dye for 48 hours, they were resected horizontally at 1mm to 5mm level from the anatomical apex using a low-speed microtome. Each section was examined under a stereomicroscope at ${\times40}$ magnification and photographed. After each image was scanned, the leakage area was measured at each level using Brain 3 (Nosdia Tech., Korea) software. Leakage ratio was calculated for each group and was analyzed statistically to come up with the following results: 1. At 1mm level, the Quick Obturation system had the largest amount of apical leakage and it was statistically significant when compared with the lateral condensation group and the Thermafil group (p<0.05). 2. At 2mm and 3mm level, there were no significant difference of apical leakage among all four groups (p>0.05), and from 4mm level, no apical dye penetration was observed in all the groups. In conclusion, the apical seal produced by Easy Filling system and the Quick Obturation system was comparable to lateral condensation technique and Thermafil system except for the 1mm level. More improvement of the apical seal can be expected as the operator becomes skillful with the new techniques.

모의 수출 조건에서 수확 후 CO2와 부직포 패드 처리가 느타리버섯 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Postharvest High CO2 Treatment and Anti-moisture Pad on the Quality of Fresh Oyster Mushroom during Export Simulation)

  • 느타리버섯 수출력 증진방안을 모색하기 위하여 선적전 고농도 $CO_2$ 및 흡습지 처리가 모의 수출과정에서 버섯의 품질에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 수출과정의 온도 변화는 표장용기 내부에 응축수를 만들어 품질을 떨어뜨리는 원인이 되며 흡습지는 경도 유지, 갈변 예방 등에서 효과적이었다. 그러나 모의소매과정에서의 고온($15^{\circ}C$) 노출은 그 효과를 크게 감소시켰다. 선적전 고농도의 $CO_2$ 처리는 경도에 대한 영향은 뚜렷하지 않았지만 버섯의 색택변화를 지연시켰다. 총당, 페놀 등 내적성분은 처리간 일정한 경향을 보이지 않았다. 전반적 수출잠재력은 현행 수출용 규격인 작은 버섯에서 높았다. 수출용 버섯의 품질저하는 포장용기내 응축수 발생과 온도변화의 영향을 크게 받아 이를 개선하기 위한 노력이 필요하다.

유·무기 혼성 메조포러스 물질의 휘발성 유기화합물 제거능 (Removal of Volatile Organic Compounds with Organic-Inorganic Hybrid Mesoporous Materials)

  • Tetraethyl orthosilicate (TEOS) 혹은 1,2-bis(triethyoxysilyl)ethane (BTSE)과 여러 종류의 organosilane들을 공중합하여 유 무기 혼성 메조포러스 물질들을 제조하고, 이들이 공기 중의 휘발성 유기화합물(VOC)들을 흡착 제거하는 능력을, TEOS 만을 사용하여 제조한 친수성 무기 메조포러스물질인 SBA-15와 비교 평가하였다. 유기 구조의 도입에 의한 소수성의 증대는 메조포러스 물질이 VOC를 흡착 제거하는데 긍정적 효과를 줌을 관찰하였다. 특히 BTSE와 phenyl triethoxysilane을 중량비 90:10으로 공중합한 유 무기 혼성 메조포러스 물질의 VOC 제거 능력은 우수하였다. 또, 물속에 분산된 기름 성분을 흡착 제거하는데 유 무기 혼성 메조포러스 물질들을 유용하게 응용할 수 있음도 정성적으로 관찰하였다.

  • Nano-sized tungsten disulfide ($WS_2$) powders were synthesized by chemical vapor condensation (CVC) process using tungsten carbonyl ($W(CO)_6$) as precursor and vaporized pure sulfur. Prior to the synthesis of tungsten disulfide nanoparticles, the pure tungsten nanoparticles were produced by same route to define the optimum synthesis parameters, which were then successfully applied to synthesize tungsten disulfide. The influence of experimental parameters on the phase and chemical composition as well as mean size of the particles for the produced pure tungsten and tungsten disulfide nanoparticles, were investigated.

Development of a PM Sampler for Collecting Fine Particles via Condensation Magnification

  • In this study, a new PM (particulate matter) sampler was developed and fabricated to collect fine particles in the atmosphere, and laboratory and field tests were carried out to evaluate the performance of the sampler. The PM sampler, which was based on impingers, employed an aerosol condensation system as a PM magnifier to improve its collection efficiencies. Sodium chloride, ammonium sulfate and ammonium nitrate aerosols were used as test particles, because these components are rich in ambient aerosols. As a result, it was found that the collection efficiency of the novel PM sampler was very high. Thus, it is believed that the PM sampler is an effective device for sampling fine particles. In addition, it was demonstrated that this work could contribute to the collection or removal of fine particles and be applied to the semicontinuous sampling of ambient aerosols for chemical composition analysis.

형상이 다른 수평 원형 전열관의 응축 성능에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Condensation Performance for the Horizontal Heat Transfer Tubes with Various Fin Attached)

  • An experimental study was carried out to investigate the condensation performance for the horizontal cylindrical heat transfer tube with various fin attached using R-11 vapor. The heat transfer tube used in this study was supplied by SUNG HYUNG METAL CO., LTD. Four different types of heat transfer tubes (plain tube, SH-CYR tube, thermocor tube and thermoexcel tube) were used. Each tube was surrounded by circular acrylate tube, and R-11 gas heated by boiler flows into the acrylate tube. Cooling water counter-flows in heat transfer tubes. Heat transfer coefficient of the plain tube from measured data was compared with those of three other tubes. The results are summarized as follows: 1. As the cooling water temperature decreased, the liquid film of R-11 turned to droplet drop on the top surface of the horizontal tube. 2. Heat transfer coefficient calculated theoretically was higher than that obtained from the experimental data. 3. As far as the condensation concerns the thermocor tube is the highest, the SH-CYR tube is the second, and the thermoexcel tube is the third excluding the plain tube.
