At a time when the direction of the middle and high school curriculum is being discussed in line with the change in the future education paradigm to the 4th industrial revolution and the post-COVID-19 era, this study attempted to establish the identity of middle and high school clothing life education by exploring the clothing life contents with content analysis method and analyzing the 'clothing life industry' related educational content of the curriculum revision period. Following the revision of the curriculum, the contents related to the middle and high school 'clothing life industry' were not systematic. In the 2022 revised curriculum, the 'clothing life industry' and the digital fashion industry are presented as content related to the 'clothing life industry', so it is expected that the textbooks implemented in the educational field in the future will mention specific content about this. In addition, research on the direction of sustainable clothing life is also needed because the 'clothing life industry' can be an important cause of environmental pollution from production to consumption. Above all, it is expected that follow-up studies will be conducted to enhance the value of clothing life education in the future in the reality that the awareness of middle and high school clothing life education is low.

제4차 산업혁명, 포스트 코로나 시대로의 전환 등 사회적 혁신을 기반으로 모두를 위한 삶의 질을 제고할 수 있는 교육 패러다임의 전환이 필요한 시기이다. 이러한 시대 변화의 흐름을 파악하여 교육과정의 변화를 준비하여야 한다. 이에 본 연구는 4차 산업혁명, 포스트 코로나 시대로의 패러다임의 변화에 따른 미래 초·중등교육의 방향성이 논의되고 있는 시점에서, '미래교육환경의 변화에 따라 의생활교육은 어떤 혁신적 과제를 수행해야 하는가?'의 문제의식에서 출발하여 미래 교육환경의 변화의 특징과 의생활교육과정을 분석해보고, 이를 바탕으로 의생활교육과정의 방향을 탐색하는데 목적을 두었다. 이러한 연구목적을 수행하기 위해 제1차 교육과정에서부터 2015 개정 교육과정의 의생활교육과정 분석결과를 활용하였다. 결론적으로 미래 교육환경의 변화에 따른 의생활교육과정의 방향으로는 먼저 인재상으로 인공지능(AI)에 인간의 감성과 환경, 의생활문화를 더하는 융·복합교육인재양성, 소프트웨어 역량과 실천적 문제해결 역량을 연계하는 의생활교육, 인공지능(AI)을 활용한 패션 메이커교육과 가치 지향적인 의생활교육 등을 도출하였다. 본 연구를 통해 실제적 교육현장 적용인 의생활 교수·학습방법에 대한 후속연구가 진행되기를 기대한다.

This study was conducted with the budgetary support of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Department of Education as curriculum preparation (frequently revised since 2007) for the enhancement of teacher professionalism in Clothing, Food, and Housing Life education. This study promotes changes in student learning through the enrichment of Home Economics content and the classroom-learning environment through the reinforcement of teacher professionalism and attitudes towards Clothing, Food, and Housing Life education. This study enhances the comprehension of Home Economics and understanding by educators on the importance of Home Economics. The training program was evaluated through an analysis of the motive of application, level of satisfaction with the program, change in the view of Clothing Life education, and level of expectation and contributions of the program towards the curriculum development of teaching. The trainees were motivated by the opportunity to practice, uniqueness of the curriculum of the training program, and expectations for professional enhancement. The level of satisfaction is very high. Regardless of subjects, trainees recognized the necessity of practical exercise, cultural & artistic approach, and integrated teacher training in Clothing Life education. The teachers of other subjects recognized the importance of Home Economics and the historical background of Clothing, Food, and Housing Life.

The attitude of Eco-friendly clothing is based on environmental awareness and Low-carbon green growth awareness. It can be developed through our education. I studied and analyzed the survey which targeted on highschool students whether the recognition of low-carbon green growth can be effected to the eco-friendly clothing attitude or not, and school education effect. The research shows the green growth recognition affects significantly to the eco-friendly clothing attitude. Also the study proves the education of green growth awareness and the eco-friendly clothing attitude informs the realizations of environmental and green growth concepts. The education of clothing habits affects our eco-friendly clothing attitude. Therefore this education is necessary for school curriculum and it must be expanded in any areas both in 'environment and green growth' course and 'home economics' courses in secondary education. The education of Eco-friendly clothing habit should be keep researched specifically and develop further and further.

The purpose of this study was to research high school students’ practical awareness about the contents(classify them into four units. choice and dressing of clothes. textile and management of clothes. design and sewing of clothes. knitting and embroidery) clothing and textiles education in their real life. This is the investigation of which 576 high school students located in Choongchungnam$.$bukdo. Junrabukdo, Daeseon. In this statistical analysis. SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was utilized to calculate percentage. mean and standard deviation. Also. these materials were verified by t-test. One-way Anova . Pearson’s correlation coefficient. The main results of obtained this study are as follows High school students’ practical awareness about the contents of clothing and textiles education in their real life appears to be low(only 9 items were over median point of 3.0). There was a significant difference in Practical awareness of contents of clothing and textiles education according to demographic variables. and correlation of variables differed significantly. These results should be provide fundamental information for improving students’ practical practice in their real life Since this study has touched only limited research on the topic of clothing and textiles education. it is essential that further research covering a wider array of themes be done in the future.

The purpose of this study is to seek improvement in clothing life education through a development and application of the clothing life education program for middle schools based on the education and experience in arts & culture. On the basis of art & culture education as well as, Dewey's experience, the clothing life area education program was designed and developed for the 2nd year students in the middle school. This program was applied to 350 students of 9 2nd year classes in M middle school during the 17 periods of clothing life area classes, beginning from May 23rd, 2011 and lasting to September 30th, 2011. The leaner-evaluation was performed in terms of the level of learning interest and academic achievement. To measure the level of academic achievement, a mind-map evaluation was performed and a learning effect survey, which evaluates the level of achievement of learning objectives, was carried out. For the purpose of class observation, classes were filmed and analyzed. Characteristics of a class were recorded on a teacher's diary and was used to support the qualitative evaluation. According to the results, the education program is analyzed as being helpful and useful in student understanding of fiber, textile and, clothes, which are materials and outcomes of culture and art; moreover, they have a historical, cultural and artistic value in themselves. It is also analyzed as being helpful for the development of student aesthetic sensibility and emotion, for the construction of meaningful experience through a learning process, for the improvement of learning interest and the level of academic achievement, and for the positive recognition of the learning effect.

Elderly population of Korea has been significantly increasing, therefore, social and economical influence of the elderly people has been increasing, too. Recently, research regarding elderly people is important because many elderly men take care of their appearance and clothing, and clothing plays an important role in everyday life. The purpose of this study is to investigate the clothing behavior of men aged 55 years and older who were residents of Seoul. The data were collected with a interview and self-administered questionnaire at various places. The importance of various factors on clothing behavior is different. 2. Age has a negative relationship with conformity, but a positive relationship with aesthetics and satisfaction of clothing. Allowance has a positive relationship with all clothing behaviors factors excepts conformity. 3. Life satisfaction has a positive relationship with education and allowance, also, life satisfaction of occupation group is higher than no occupation group is higher than no occupation group. 4. Appearance satisfaction has not a significant relationships with age, but, has a positive relationship with education. 5. There are positive relationships between not only life satisfaction and clothing behavior factors, but also appearance satisfaction and clothing behavior factors except conformity.

The purpose of this study was to research university students' awareness of gender equality and practice of clothing and textiles education contents(classifying them into four units; choice and dressing of clothes, textile and management of clothes, design and sewing of clothes, and knitting and embroidery) in their real life. This is the investigation of 344 university students living in Choongchungnam bukdo, Junrabukdo, and Daejeon. In this statistical analysis, SPSS 10.0 for Windows Program was utilized to calculate percentage, mean and standard deviation. Also, these data were verified by t-test, One-way Anova, Duncan's multiple range, Pearson's correlation coefficient. The results of this research were as follows: The more university students have awareness of gender equality, the more they have practice of clothing and textiles education content in their real life. There was a significant difference in practical awareness of contents of clothing and textiles education according to demographic variables and correlation of variables differed significantly. As a conclusion, university students' awareness of gender equality plays an important role in practice of clothing and textiles education contents in their real life. These results would provide fundamental information for improving students' critical practice.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of home environment school life adjustment and demographic variables on the adolescents' clothing attitudes The subjects were 682 middle and high school boys and girls(boys. 342, girls:340) in Seoul Korea. Modesty of boys was influenced by parent's education(-) academic record achievement tendency of home and allowance(-) $(R^2$=8.6%) and girls influenced by affection of home(-) allowance(-) age and academic record$(R^2$=11.2%). Clothing satisfaction of boys was influenced by parents' education self-control tendency of home and school life adjustment$(R^2$=19.4%). girls influenced by allowance affection of home parents' education school life adustment and self-control of home$(R^2$=20.3%) Age was most important in predicting the wearing of regulative clothes of boys. followed by allowance and academic record(-)$(R^2$=26.7%) allowance was most important in girls followed by academic record(-), and achievement tendency of home $(R^2$=19.0%). The present findings mean that the more allowance adolescents received and the lower the academic record the lower the modesty and the their the wearing of regrlative clothes. The school life adjustment and home environment such as achievement affection and self-control tendency were meaningful variables That affect clothing attitude of adolescent.

These results should be provide fundamental information for improving students' critical practice in their real life.
