  • RR (Remote Reference)과 SNS (Signal Noise Separation) 기법을 도입하여 용인과 이천에서 측정된 지자기 전달함수를 분석하였다. RR 기법은 측정 사이트와 동시에 기록되는 원격참조 자료를 사용하여 자기장의 비상관 잡음 (un-correlated noise)을 제거하는 기법으로서 전달함수의 편향을 최소화한다. 한편 SNS 기법은 원격참조 자료가 잡음이 거의 없다는 가정을 바탕으로 신호에 의한 전달함수와 상관잡음(correlated noise)에 의한 전달함수를 분리하는 기법으로서, 측정 사이트에 상관잡음이 지배적인 경우에도 신호에 의해 전달함수를 성공적으로 추정할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 자료의 질이 양호하다고 판단되는 이천을 원격참조 자료로 사용하여, 용인에서의 전달함수를 분석하였다. RR기법을 적용한 곁과, 단일 로버스트 추정(Single robust estimation)에서 나타났던 편향이 감소되었고, 주파수에 따른 전달함수의 연결성도 향상되었다. 잡음원에 대한 보다 정량적인 분석을 위해 SNS 기법을 적용한 결과, 주기 100초 이하에서 용인의 서쪽에 존재하는 잡음원의 존재를 확인하였다. 이러한 잡음원은 용인의 서쪽을 지나가는 국철, 고속철도 등의 철도 시스템에 의한 것으로 생각된다.

  • Among the recent research ideas to reduce hydrocarbon emissions emitted from SI engines till light-off of catalyst since cold start are those exploiting non-thermal plasma technique and photo-catalyst that draws recent attention by virtue of its successful application to practical use to clean up the atmosphere using the feature of its relative independence on temperature. Based on the previous research results obtained with model exhaust gases using an experimental emissions reduction system that utilizes the non-thermal plasma and photo-catalyst technique, further investigation was conducted on a production N/A 1.5 liter DOHC engine during cold start to warm-up. For the effects of non-thermal plasma-photocatalyst combined reactor, 10% concentration reduction was achieved with the fuel component paraffins, and the large increase in non-fuel paraffinic components and acetylene concentrations were similar to those of base condition. However the absolute value was locally a bit higher than those of base condition since the products was made from the dissociation and decomposition of highly branched paraffins by plasma-photocatalyst reactor. Olefinic components were highly decomposed by about 75%, due to these excellent decompositions of olefins which have relatively high MIR values, and the SR value was 1.87 that is 30% reduction from that of base condition, then, the photochemical reactivity was lowered.

겔침전과 화학증착법에 의한 구형 UO2 입자와 TRISO 피복입자 제조 (Spherical UO2 Kernel and TRISO Coated Particle Fabrication by GSP Method and CVD Technique)

  • HTGR using a TRISO coated particles as nuclear raw fuel material can be used to produce clean hydrogen gas and process heat for a next-generation energy source. For these purposes, a TRISO coated particle was prepared with 3 pyro-carbon (buffer, IPyC, and OPyC) layers and 1 silicone carbide (SiC) layer using a CVD technique on a spherical $UO_2$ kernel surface as a fissile material. In this study, a spherical $UO_2$ particle was prepared using a modified sol-gel method with a vibrating nozzle system, and TRISO coating fabrication was carried out using a fluidized bed reactor with coating gases, such as acetylene, propylene, and methyltrichlorosilane (MTS). As the results of this study, a spherical $UO_2$ kernel with a sphericity of 1+0.06 was obtained, and the main process parameters in the $UO_2$ kernel preparation were the well-formed nature of the spherical ADU liquid droplets and the suitable temperature control in the thermal treatment of intermediate compounds in the ADU, $UO_3$, and $UO_2$ conversions. Also, the important parameters for the TRISO coating procedure were the coating temperature and feed rate of the feeding gas in the PyC layer coating, the coating temperature, and the volume fraction of the reactant and inert gases in the SiC deposition.

한국 전통 당초문양을 활용한 텍스타일 디자인 개발 (A study on Textile Designs Incorporating Korean Traditional Arabesque Pattern)

  • The purpose of this study was to re-interpret the traditional patterns in modern point of view and connect them to the apparel textile design to use them widely in our real life. For this, a documentary research on the traditional patterns and arabesque patterns was made first, and then, through the manual and photoshop workings, two apparel textile designs were suggested. As a result, the followings were acquired: First, the arabesque pattern, which is a traditional pattern of Korea, has a continuous life power and a natural formative characteristics. In its pattern, there is an abundant possibility of change. So, it has a wide usability regardless of time and space. As the symbolic image of the arabesque pattern is connected with the instinctive beauty sense of human beings, it has shown the more adhesive affinity that any other materials. Second, two kinds of textile design were suggested. The motif of work 1, "Fragrance of Woman," was the richness and the harmony, and so a lotus arabesque pattern was selected to present its concept, "Classic Elegance." The expression technique was to use a manual work and cloths to make it a voluminous one. The motif of work 2, "Green Field" was to show the clean beauty with a lotus arabesque pattern. Its concept was the "Natural Elegance," and the expression technique was to repeat the motif by using the Adobe Photoshop to complete the work.

  • ;A new root canal instrument and instrumentation technique: a preliminary report. Cleaning and shaping the root canal system has been and continues to be a challenge for even the most experienced endodontist. Curved. narrow canals. in particular. cause difficulties for the beginner as well as the specialist. A new instrument designed to incorporate new concepts was developed to ameliorate the problems in cleaning and shaping root canal systems. This new instrument has been given the name of SW (Senia and Wildey). The new SW instrument uses controlled right and left rotational forces. This motion was used to clean and shape simulated root canals in plastic blocks and root canals in extracted teeth. Instrumentation appeared to be easier. faster. and more precise than with conventional instruments. especially in curved canals where there was remarkable reduction of canal transportation. A mechanical version of the SW instrument was also developed. It was used to flare the coronal portion of the root canal system. Wildey WL. Various factors must be considered in an analysis of instrumentation of the root canal system: the dentin that is cut: the technique used to cut it: the design of the instruments: the material and manufacturing process used to make the instruments: the irrigant used during the procedure: and the anatomic configuration of the root canal system. An analysis of these factors clearly indicates that existing root canal instruments and techniques are less than ideal and. in fact. do not accomplish what is expected of them. Root canals must be properly. but. at the same time. destructive and unnecessary removal of dentin should be kept to a minimum. The Flex-R and Canal Master instruments were developed to address some of the shortcomings of existing instruments and techniques. Determination of Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) in Fortified Foods by HPLC

  • This study was conducted to develop an HPLC method for determining vitamin B$_{12}$ in fortified foods which has typically been determined by microbiological assays according to AOAC and Korean Food Code approved methods. Vitamin B$_{12}$ (cyanocobalamin) was determined by reversed-phase HPLC with a triple column and UV/VIS dectector (550 nm) using the column switching technique after extraction with 5 mM potassium phosphate solution by sonication without a clean-up procedure. The recovery of spiked samples and limit of detection (LOD) by HPLC were 78.6 ∼107.5 % and 2 ppb ($\mu\textrm{g}$/kg), respectively. The LOD of the microbiological assay (MBA) was much lower than that of HPLC. The concentrations of vitamin B$_{12}$ analyzed in all tested samples (n=12) confirmed compliance with declared label claims. The range of recovery ratio by the HPLC method when compared to the microbiological assay was 76.2 ∼140.0 %. There was not significant difference between the HPLC and MBA methods (p < 0.01) with r=0.9791 and linear regression y=0.9923x-0.04. The HPLC method for determining vitamin B$_{12}$ using the column-switching technique appears to be suitable for determining vitamin B$_{12}$ concentrations above 1 $\mu\textrm{g}$/100 g in fortified foods.ied foods.

  • 고무-섬유로 이루어진 고무복합체 제조공정을 단순화하기 위한 직접블렌딩 기술을 본 연구에서 제시하였다. 직접블렌딩 방법은 레소시놀, 헥사메틸테트라민, NaOH로 이루어진 결합체를 고무혼합물 배합공정에 직접 혼합하여 보강섬율의 접착제 처리공정을 생략할 수 있는 방법이다. 이러한 직접블렌딩 메커니즘을 규명하기 위해 결합체를 직접 고무혼합물에 블렌딩한 경우와(Case I) 결합체를 수용액 상에서 반응시켜 경화물을 얻은 후 이를 분쇄하여 고무혼합물에 배합하는 경우를(Case II) 비교하였다. 모폴로지 분석결과에 의하면 Case II의 경우 결합체와 매트릭스 고무 사이에 뚜렷한 계면이 발생하였지만, Case I의 경우 적절한 가공조건 아래서 결합제와 매트릭스 고무 사이의 반응에 의해 새로운 상이 생성됨을 알 수 있었다. 또한, SBR-나일론 고무복합체의 최적 성능을 위한 결합제의 최적 조성은 레소시놀과 헥사메틸렌테트라민의 mole비가 1.2:1인, 즉 레소시놀과 포름알데히드의 mole비가 1:5인 조성이었다.

  • 원자력 발전의 고온 가스로(high temperature gas-cooled reactor, HTGR)의 냉각제로 사용되는 He가스의 열에너지를 이용하여 물을 분해해서 수소를 생산하는 "열화학적 수소제조 IS프로세스"에 대해 설명하였다. 특히, 분리막 기술의 이용에 관한 연구를 중점으로 정리하였다. 고온 원자력 열에너지를 이용한 열화학적 수소 제조법은 실현 가능한 단계까지 왔다고 생각되며, 아직 연구 개발 과제가 많이 남아 있지만, 미래의 청정에너지 중의 하나인 수소를 대량 생산할 수 있는 가능성을 갖고 있다.

In-depth morphological study of mesiobuccal root canal systems in maxillary first molars: review

  • A common failure in endodontic treatment of the permanent maxillary first molars is likely to be caused by an inability to locate, clean, and obturate the second mesiobuccal (MB) canals. Because of the importance of knowledge on these additional canals, there have been numerous studies which investigated the maxillary first molar MB root canal morphology using in vivo and laboratory methods. In this article, the protocols, advantages and disadvantages of various methodologies for in-depth study of maxillary first molar MB root canal morphology were discussed. Furthermore, newly identified configuration types for the establishment of new classification system were suggested based on two image reformatting techniques of micro-computed tomography, which can be useful as a further 'Gold Standard' method for in-depth morphological study of complex root canal systems.

Supply Chain Analysis in Public Works: The Role of Work Climate, Supervision and Organizational Learning

  • The study aims to analyze the supply chain role of supervision, discipline, work climate, and organizational learning on the performance of community services at the public works. This study took a sample of employees through purposive sampling technique at the Public Works Office and Bina Marga in a regency in East Java. Data through questionnaire was collected through a 5-point Likert scale model. The results show that the application of employee discipline affects the performance of public services, with a contribution of 39.7%, meaning that discipline and organizational learning are implementation factors that have an effect on public service performance. In stepwise regression analysis, the supervisory factor has a correlation with service performance, but it is less relevant, while the work climate is not relevant as a predictor variable to improve public service performance. The study revealed the importance of the supply chain policy of implementing good and clean governance and the enactment of the performance appraisal of the government apparatus established through Good Corporate Governance of the state apparatus. The findings provide a basis to encourage the public sector performance to smooth every step of supply chain management of every government project work, especially in the field of public services.
