  • Decision class analysis (DCA) is viewed as a classification problem where a set of input data (situation-specific knowledge) and output data(a topological leveled influence diagram (ID)) is given. Situation-specific knowledge is usually given from a decision maker (DM) with the help of domain expert(s). But it is not easy for the DM to know the situation-specific knowledge of decision problem exactly. This paper presents a methodology for sensitivity analysis of DCA under incomplete information. The purpose of sensitivity analysis in DCA is to identify the effects of incomplete situation-specific frames whose uncertainty affects the importance of each variable in the resulting model. For such a purpose, our suggested methodology consists of two procedures: generative procedure and adaptive procedure. An interactive procedure is also suggested based the sensitivity analysis to build a well-formed ID. These procedures are formally explained and illustrated with a raw material purchasing problem.

  • The present study was performed to identify morphologic sub-groupings in Korean children with Class I malocclusions, and to find out anatomic differences between the sub-groups. Standardized lateral cephalometric radiographs of 152 Korean children, aged between 6 and 12 years, with Class I malocclusions were analyzed by the Counterpart Analysis. A statistical method, Ward's Minimum Variance Cluster Analysis, was employed to divide the sample into sub-groups those with similar morphologic characteristics. The results were as follows; 1. There appeared two facial types, Type I and Type II, in Korean children with Class I malocclusions, 48.7% and 51.3%, respectively. 2. In both sub-groups, there existed strong Class III skeletal patterns due to a counterclockwise rotation of the Middle Cranial Fossa alignment, and strong Class II skeletal patterns due to the long Posterior Maxillary vertical dimension and a clockwise rotation of the Ramus alignment. 3. There were no significant differences in Upper Anterior Facial Height between Type I and Type II, $52.6{\pm}2.92mm\;and\;52.8{\pm}3.23mm$, respectively. 4. The Lower Anterior Facial Height in Type II was longer ($66.0{\pm}4.03mm$) due to the long Posterior Maxillary vertical dimension, the clockwise rotation of the Ramus alignment, and a clockwise rotation of the Mandibular plane alignment than that of Type I ($64.2{\pm}4.15mm$).

  • This study is to investigate the effect of the amusement factor and the motive of participation in skin-scuba class on the satisfaction with university life with the university students participating in the skin-scuba class and to provide the practical research data for the development of the marine sports, for the proper operation of skin-scuba class, and for the leisure life which the university students may lack. For these purposes, technical statistics between questions were disposed in order to grasp the average and standard deviation on each variables, exploratory factor analysis and reliability analysis were conducted for the reliability and validity of the scale, and correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis were conducted to test the casuality of amusement factor, the motive of participation in skin-scuba class and the satisfaction with university life as the research methods. Research results showed that it was confirmed that the amusement factor and the motive of participation in skin-scuba class act as the important variables in the satisfaction with university life and it was predicted that the motive of participation in skin-scuba class and the amusement factor had interrelation with parameter. Therefore, a variety of programs reflecting the amusement factors should motivate the university students to particiapte in the skin-scuba class to increase the satisfaction with university life and to encourage the re-participation of students.

  • Class components in a repository require exact information representation by reason of insufficiency of various visual information through search and extraction. In this paper, we have described syntax-analysis method and viewer facilities about class components. In the components analysis, we extracted class information which consists of class_names, methods, attributes, class inheritance relationship, and graphic information. viewer represents extracted class information and creates a new class. Also, it provides facilities of reuse, insertion, and deletion. Not only Viewer represents class hierarchy diagram, and shows detail information about each class, but also it creates new classes. In this paper, we implemented a Viewer using the components, inheritance, diagram information and process. And we enhanced understanding of programs through viewer, and supported prototype for class creation.

  • Purpose: In this study, we aim to provide primary source of data for developing a learning program that enhances the students' learning by critically analyzing and adopting the effective class participation factors of the students. Methods: A questionnaire survey has been conducted from the beginning of May to the end of October, 2017. Subjects of the survey was the dental technology students living in W-city et al by random sampling method along with written informed consent. Out of 630 distributed questionnaires, 584 results were used for our analysis. Results: Firstly, the average score of the class participation of all the subjects was 3.08 points out of 5.0, which was broken down into class activity (3.53 points), passion about class (3.51 points), communication factors (2.88 points), class preparation (2.77 points), class extension (2.76 points). Secondly, statistically significant correlations were found between class participation and class satisfaction as shown in (p<.01). Class participation factors that affect the class satisfaction were class preparation(p<.001), class activities(p<.001), passion about class(p<.001), which reveals positive and meaningful results. Explanatory power of the model turned out 50.3%. Conclusion : Considering that class preparation, class activities, and passion about class played a key role in class satisfaction of the student, teachers need to be open minded to reflect the learners' personalized demands and needs in preparing and managing their class.
