  • LCD Backlight 구동 응용을 위한 새로운 인버터 회로 Topology인 Dual Active Clamp Forward (ACF) Inverter를 제안한다. 제안된 회로는 LCD의 광원 역할을 하는 냉음극 형광램프(Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamp, CCFL) 구동을 위한 회로로서, 넓은 입력 범위 및 부하 범위에서도 영 전압 스위칭 동작을 보장하며, 출력 AC 전류의 대칭성을 보장한다. 더욱이 기존 Symmetric Phase Shift Full Bridge방식은 특허 우선순위가 있는 방법으로써, Dual ACF Inverter를 사용할 경우 특허 Royalty 부담을 줄일 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 제안된 회로의 동작원리에 대한 타당성을 이론적 분석 및 모의실험을 통하여 검증한다.

  • Conventional active-clamp forward converter shows good performance in low power applications, however it suffers from a high voltage stress of switch and is not suitable for high input voltage applications. To solve this problem, a new multi-level active-clamp forward converter is proposed in this paper. Utilizing low rating switches, the proposed converter features high efficiency and low cost promising for high input voltage applications.

  • This paper analyzed PFC of active clamp ZVS flyback converter by adding two method PFC (Power Factor Correction) circuit - Two-Stage and Single-Stage. It improves on Flyback converter's disadvantage - loss increasing by switching, noise increasing, high voltage stress of switch - by adding active clamp circuit. Simulation results show to improve the input PF of 300W ZVS flyback converter by adding Single-Stage, Two-Stage PFC circuit.

  • 하나의 태양전지에 모듈화 시킨 소용량 MIC는 크기제한 및 신뢰성, 고효율이 가장 큰 문제가 되고 있다. 이러한 문제로 MIC는 태양전지의 높이에 맞게 설계하기 위해 변압기 코어와 컨버터 스위칭손실을 감소시켜야 한다. 본 논문에서는 Active Clamp방식의 인터리브드 플라이백컨버터를 적용하여 소형화 및 스위칭손실을 줄이는 고효율 MIC를 제안하였다.

  • 본 논문은 FAC (Forward converter Active Clamp) 회로를 통해 변압기 자화인덕턴스에 저장된 에너지를 셀 밸런싱에 재사용하는 Active Clamp Forward converter 기반 셀 밸런싱 회로를 제안한다. 제안 회로는 클램프 커패시터의 충전 균형으로 스위치를 전압 스파이크로부터 보호하고 전력손실을 초래할 수 있는 변압기의 자기포화를 방지할 수 있다. 제안한 셀 밸런싱 회로는 RCD 포워드 셀 밸런싱 컨버터 보다 더 높은 전력 전달 효율과 낮은 전압 스트레스를 갖는다. 제안한 액티브 셀 밸런싱 회로는 동시에 모든 셀이 균등화 되도록 작동하므로, 셀밸런싱 시간이 짧다. 본 논문에서는 제안 회로의 배터리 상태에 따른 제어모드를 설명하고 회로의 타당성 검증을 위해 Powersim 사(社)의 Psim 시뮬레이션 연구를 수행하였다.

  • Four neonates with critical pulmonary outflow obstruction underwent emergency palliative operation between February 1988 and May 1989 at the department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Kyungpook National University Hospital. There were three boys and one girl, the mean age was 12.25 days [ranging from 3 days to 26 days], and the mean body weight was 3,625 gm [ranging from 3,450 gm to 4,200 gm]. Two patients had severe pulmonic valvular stenosis with intact ventricular septum, a third had pulmonary atresia with intact ventricular septum, and another had pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect. All were cyanotic, showed arterial desaturation with metabolic acidosis, and had congestive heart failure. To relieve the pulmonary outflow tract obstruction, we performed transventricular pulmonary valvulotomy [Brock operation] with a mosquito clamp in all cases without extracorporeal circulation. Three patients survived the operation and showed satisfactory postoperative results. The patient who had pulmonary atresia with ventricular septal defect expired 5 days after surgery. We consider transventricular pulmonary valvulotomy [Brock operation] with a mosquito clamp as one of the preferable procedures for critical pulmonary outflow obstruction in the neonatal period.

  • In order to remove rust and impurities from surface of raw SUS circular bar, peeling machine is used to make lustrous and clean surface of SUS circular bar. Drawing process system is used to manufacture SUS hexagonal bar. SUS hexagonal bar have been widely used to make hexagonal bolt/nut, adapter and fittings and so on. The purpose of this study is to investigate the stabilities for guide bar of clamp in drawing process system. As the results, the guide bar showed structural stability in cases of below load of 50 Ton and over hook radius of 3.0mm. Further as the thickness of guide bar hooking with jaw was increased, minimum safety factor was decreased.

  • In this paper, a high-efficiency double-ended active clamp ZVS forward converter is proposed. This converter can be used in compact size AC/DC converter applications such as a notebook adapter. The principles of operation are described and the zero voltage switching characteristics are analyzed. High efficiency of this converter is verified by the experimental results.
