Petri Net 형식론을 이용한 철도차량 주차단기 제어회로 모델링 (MCB ladder diagram modeling for Rolling stock using Petri Net formalism)

  • The computer system is used in many application domains and any system error in these domains may either cause critical loss or threaten environment or human life. Though examples of these domains can be found in many areas, the system, which is used in domains for carrying passengers including rolling stocks in particular, is expected to show satisfactory operation all the time. The relay control logic, which is used in rolling stocks, is complex in hardware and occupies considerably large volume. Nevertheless, it has been used for a long time, to let the system safely operate even in the occurrence of an error in the computer system. However, the relay control logic circuit is so complex that the analysis of proper circuit operation and interlocking tends to be dependent only on the designer's experiences instead of being systematically performed. Especially, the analysis following a change, addition and deletion of a previous circuit according to the requirements from a source of demand is significantly limited. In this paper, the accuracy of relay control logic is verified by the use of properties of Petri Net model. In addition, how main circuit breaker (MCB) control circuit is modeled and analyzed by the design methodology is shown.

CRT 디스플레이용 고전압 발생기 시스템의 이론적해석 (Theoretical Analysis of the High Voltage Generator System for CRT Displays)

  • 본 논문에서는 귀선기간동안 CRT 디스플레이용 수평출력 및 FBT단을 새로운 간략화된 등가회로로 나타내었다. 이 등가회로를 사용하여 회로해석을 한 후 계산결과와 측정결과를 비교하였다. 결과에 의하면, 다른 회호변수들이 일정할 경우 고전압 변동이 변압기의 결합계수, 정류다이오드으 전압-전류 특성 및 전하축적에 의존함을 보여준다. 계산결과는 측정결과보다 약 3.9% 내지는 5.8% 정도 높게 나타내는데 이것은 변압기 손실을 무시한 결과라 생각된다. 이러한 계산오차로 미루어, 본 등가회로는 그 타당성이 인정된다.

광대역 디커플링 캐패시터 모델을 이용한 정확한 SSN 분석 (Accurate SSN Analysis using Wideband Decoupling Capacitor Model)

  • 고속 다층 인쇄 회로 기판의 전원 평면과 접지 평면을 통해 전파되는 SSN 잡음의 영향을 감소시키기 위하여 일반적으로 디커플링 캐패시터를 사용한다. 본 논문에서는 디커플링 캐패시터에 대한 간단한 고주파 측정 방법 을 제시하고 고주파 기생 성분들을 고려한 광대역 (50 MHz ~3 GHz) 등가 회로 모델을 제안하였다. 제안된 모델은 SSN의 영향을 분석하기 위한 전원 평면과 접지 평면의 SPICE 모델과 쉽게 결합할 수 있다. 제안된 모델이 연결된 회로 해석 결과는 측정 결과와 잘 일치하며, 제안된 모델을 이용한 회로 해석을 통해 디커플링 캐패시터 값에 따른 잡음 감소 효과를 빠르고 정확하게 분석할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

Prediction of Insulation Capability for Ground Fault to Consider Asymmetry in SF6 Circuit Breaker

  • Currently, most high-voltage gas circuit breakers (CBs) include asymmetrical geometries in the shield, the tank, the hot-gas exhaust, and the connection parts for bushings. For this reason, a 3-dimensional (3-D) analysis of the insulation capability is necessary, rather than a 2-D analysis. However, a 3-D analysis has difficulties due to the computational time and complex modeling. This paper presents a 3-D analysis considering the asymmetry in high-voltage gas CBs and a technique to reduce the calculation time. In the proposed technique, the arc plasma requiring the most computational time is first calculated by a 2-D analysis. Then, the results such as pressure, temperature, and velocity are input as a source for the 3-D analysis. This technique is applied to a 145kV self-blast-type CB and the analysis result exhibits good agreement with the experimental result.

  • Depending on the operating characteristics, track circuit is installed for the purpose of control directly or indirectly of the signal device, point switch machine and other security device. These are mainly used for train detection, transmission of information, broken train detection and transmission of return current. Especially, the return current is related to signal system, power system and catenary line, and track circuit systems. It is one of the most important component shall be dealt for the safety of track side staff and for the protection of railway-related electrical system according to electrification. Therefore, an accurate analysis of the return current is needed to prevent the return current unbalance and the system induced disorder and failure due to an over current condition. Also, if the malfunction occurred by the return current harmonics, it can cause problems including train operation interruption. In this paper, we presented measurement and analysis method at return current and it's harmonics by train operation. By the test criteria, we evaluated for safety. Hereafter, it is expected to contribute to the field associated with it.

  • This study investigates magnetic circuit design of the Single-phase Line-start Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (LSPM) to develop the characteristics in steady state. In this paper, the saliency ratio, that is the ratio of q-axial inductance to d-axial inductance, and the inductance difference between q-axial inductance and d-axial inductance are increased. Design factor is selected permanent magnet position and rotor diameter. The analysis method of the synchronous motor on d-/q- axis coordinates is used for the positive component and the equivalent circuit of the induction motor is applied for the negative component analysis. Back-emf and d-q- axial inductance is analyzed by using 2 dimensional Finite Element Method (FEM). Characteristic analysis results with variation of design factor are reflected magnetic circuit design of LSPM. The characteristics of design model are compared with the characteristic of initial model.

외부화염에 의해 소손된 비닐 코드의 단락 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Short-Circuit Characteristics of Vinyl Cords Damaged by External Flame)

  • 본 연구에서는 외부화염에 의한 비닐코드의 손상에 따른 단락 진행과정, 외형 및 표면 구조,조성 변화 등 단락 특성을 연구하였다. 초고속이미지시스템(HSIS)을 이용하여 단락과정을 분석한 결과, 열적피로에 의해 피복이 소실되면서 전선 도체가 닿아 수회에 걸쳐 단락이 발생하였으며. 실체현미경과 SEM을 이용하여 외형과 표면구조를 분석한 결과, 전원 측 전선은 두 가닥 모두에 용융흔이 형성되었으며 V자형의 흠을 나타냈다. 부하 측 전선의 용융흔은 전원 측 보다 큼을 알 수 있었다. EDX에 의한 조성분석 결과. 전원 측에서는 Cu와 O가 검출되었으며 부하 측에서는 Cu와 O 이외에 피복재료인 Cl과 Ca를 검출할 수 있었다. 이와 같은 실험과 분석결과를 바탕으로 전기화재의 원인을 규명하는데 많은 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.

계통연계형 PMSG 풍력발전시스템의 LVRT 동작 분석을 위한 하드웨어 시뮬레이터 (Hardware Simulator for LVRT Operation Analysis of Grid-Tied PMSG Wind Power System)

  • This paper introduces a hardware simulator for the LVRT operation analysis of the grid-tied PMSG wind power system with a power dissipation circuit. The power dissipation circuit, which is composed of chopper and resistor, suppresses the sudden increase of DC-link voltage in the back-to-back converter of the grid-tied PMSG wind power system. The LVRT operation was first analyzed using computer simulations with PSCAD/EMTDC. A wind power simulator including the power dissipation circuit and the fault simulator composed of variac and IGBT were built to analyze the LVRT operation. Various experiments were conducted to verify the effectiveness of the power dissipation circuit for the LVRT operation. The developed hardware simulator can be extensively utilized for the analysis of various LVRT operations of the grid-tied wind power system.

Circuit Modelling and Eigenfrequency Analysis of a Poly-Si Based RF MEMS Switch Designed and Modelled for IEEE 802.11ad Protocol

  • This paper presents the equivalent circuit modelling and eigenfrequency analysis of a wideband robust capacitive radio frequency (RF) microelectromechanical system (MEMS) switch that was designed using Poly-Si and Au layer membrane for highly reliable switching operation. The circuit characterization includes the extraction of resistance, inductance, on and off state capacitance, and Q-factor. The first six eigenfrequencies are analyzed using a finite element modeler, and the equivalent modes are demonstrated. The switch is optimized for millimeter wave frequencies, which indicate excellent RF performance with isolation of more than 55 dB and a low insertion loss of 0.1 dB in the V-band. The designed switch actuates at 13.2 V. The R, L, C and Q-factor are simulated using Y-matrix data over a frequency sweep of 20-100 GHz. The proposed switch has various applications in satellite communication networks and can also be used for devices that will incorporate the upcoming IEEE Wi-Fi 802.11ad protocol.

이산 시스템의 설계와 해석을 위한 확장된 마크흐름선도의 재정의와 회로변환 (A Redefinition and Circuit Translation of the Extended Mark Flow Graph for the Design and Analysis of the Discrete-event System)

  • 확장된 마크흐름선도(EMFG: Extended Mark Flow Graph)는 이산 시스템을 개념적으로 또는 상세하게 설계할 수 있는 강력한 도구 일 뿐만 아니라 시스템을 직접적으로 구현하기 위한 적당한 표현이다. 그러나 EMFG의 다소 복잡한 표현으로 인해 수학적인 해석이 불가능하여 시스템의 설계나 해석에 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 수학적인 해석이 가능하도록 EMFG의 표현을 재정의하였고, 표현 불가능한 부분이 가능하도록 트랜지션에 출력 역 아크를 도입하였다. 또한 EMFG의 회로변환에서 잘못 변환되는 부분들을 해결하였으며, 수식을 사용한 회로변환 방법을 제안하였다. 마지막으로 기존의 EMFG와 재정의된 EMFG를 비교하였고, 재정의된 EMFG로써 0101 감지기 회로를 설계하고 대응하는 회로로 변환하였다.
