ESM기반 보육교사 정서 연구를 위한 데이터 표집기술 개발에 관한 기초연구 (A Basic Study on the Development of a Mobile Data Sampling Method based on ESM to Examine Child-care Teachers' Emotional Experience)

  • 경험표집연구법(Experience Sampling Method: ESM)은 연구 참여자의 즉각적인 반응을 통해 실제 생활에서 경험하는 즉각적인 실제의 정서 경험을 연구할 수 있는 새로운 연구방법이다. 경험표집연구법은 최근 보육교사관련 연구 중 특히, 보육교사의 정서 및 행복감을 연구하고자 할 때 적용가능성이 논의되고 있는 연구방법으로서 기존의 교사의 회상 및 설문을 기반으로 한 연구방법의 한계를 극복할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. 보육교사의 증가되는 스트레스 및 부정적인 정서 경험에 관한 연구의 필요성과, 이를 연구할 수 있는 적합한 대안적인 연구방법이 될 것이라는 기대에도 불구하고, 기존의 경험표집 연구법은 연구 참여자로 하여금 하루 일과 중 반복적으로 무선 호출기가 울릴 때마다 설문지 및 필기구를 휴대하도록 해야 한다는 제한점을 동반한다. 뿐만 아니라, 한 개인을 통해 수집한 방대한 양의 데이터를 효과적으로 database화하는 데에 많은 시간과 노력이 요구된다는 제한점이 보고되어져 왔다. 본 연구는 어린이집 보육교사의 정서경험 연구에 있어 경험표집연구법을 보다 효과적으로 적용하기 위하여 설문참여, 자료전달 등이 매우 불편한 아날로그 방식의 경험표집 방식을 개인용 무선 통신기기를 활용함으로써 실시간으로 설문을 수행할 수 있는 소프트웨어를 개발하고 이를 설문응답에 활용하는 방안을 고안하기 위한 융합연구이다. 본 연구는 기초적 연구로서 소프트웨어 개발을 위한 시스템구성과 프로토타입 제작에 관한 내용을 주로 다루며 이를 전문가 심층면접을 통하여 연구결과를 평가하였다.

유아 보건교육 프로그램 구성요소의 개발과 보건교육에 대한 보육교사의 인식과 실천율 (Development of Health Education Program Components for Early Childhood and the Investigation of Teachers' Awareness and Performance Rate of Health Education)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop health education program components for early childhood and to investigate teachers' awareness of the importance of health education and their performance rate of health education. Methods: Early childhood health education program components were developed using two rounds of the Delphi method. The Delphi group consisted of 21 experts in childhood education. After health education program components were developed, they were used in surveying child care teachers' awareness of importance and performance rate and 151 teachers sampled from 30 child care centers participated in the survey. Results: The early childhood health education program components consisted of 5 areas, 16 subjects and 33 specific contents. Early childhood teachers' awareness of importance was over 4.5 points in all the areas and in 11 out of the 16 subjects. The most frequently educated subjects were 'the importance of hand washing' and the least frequently educated subject was 'obesity prevention'. The teachers' awareness of importance and their performance rate of specific contents were high in 'maintaining order' and 'using children's rides safely,' and low in 'obesity prevention' and 'infectious disease prevention.' Conclusion: The components of this health program were developed in consideration of field feasibility and the relationship of health program education in elementary, middle and high school.

영아보육 프로그램의 질적 수준에 대한 보육시설의 자체평가 (Self-Evaluation of the Quality of Center-Based Infant/Toddler Care)

  • This research aimed to analyze the quality of center-based infant/toddler programs in Korea. Scale for infant and toddler programs divide accreditation standards into 4 areas(physical environment, curriculum, health care, management system) with 60 standards. Standards can be divided into basic criteria and general criteria. The subjects are 149 day care centers(44 infant day care centers and 105 day care centers), and raters(teachers or principal) assessed the quality of each item on a 5-point Likert scale. The results of this study are as follows: 1) Self-evaluation result have marked 3.67 as average(range : 2.32~4.90), which barely meets basic criteria level. 2) Physical environment area has received worst score(3.41) and Health care area has received best score(3.92). 3) Each standard's score indicate the quality of infant/toddler care program: Feed care(4.29), Affectionate teacher-infant interaction(4.14) were highly rated while Nature environment/anmal/plant(2.75) and Teacher's facilities(2.74) were rated low. 4) Some variation factors showed differences in the qualitative level; number of child, education level of principal.

암으로 자녀와 사별한 어머니의 슬픔단계와 반응 (Grief Stages and Responses of Bereaved Mother Who Lost Her Children with Cancer)

  • Purpose: This study was done to develop a bereaved family care program by identifying characteristics of a grief healing process in a child loss. Method: The subjects were five bereaved mothers who have lost their children with cancer. Data was collected with in-depth interviews using grief phase assessment tool and grief reaction assessment tool from 1, February, 2001 to 31 August, 2002. Data was analyzed on the basis of two tools. Result: Process of grief in general was as follows: evading phase was within one week - one month, confrontation phase was 5 - 12 months, and reconciliation phase was after 9 months and still going on when the study was finished. Grief reaction in five (physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and spiritual) dimensions was stabilized when the phase moved into reconciliation phase. Influencing factors were intimacy and expectation towards child, social support, personality, prior loss experience, coping style, religion, culture, family cohesion, openness of communication, and stress events. Conclusion: These results suggest that a bereaved family care program considering characteristics of Korean culture should be developed and activated.

가족친화마을 환경조성을 위한 주민들의 아파트 내.외부 및 근린환경 선호에 관한 연구 - 대전시 아파트 거주자를 중심으로 - (A Study on Preferences for Apartment Interiors, Exteriors, and Neighborhood Environment for a Family Friendly Community Environment - Focused on Apartment Dwellers in Daejeon City-)

  • Since 2008, a communal child care and 'Family Pumasi' program have been conducted as a pilot project for the Healthy Family Support Center. These programs have been positioned as a step toward a family friendly community project. For the Healthy Family Support Centers, a family friendly community project is an essential program as a part of the policies in response to the country's low fertility. However, the people in charge face difficulties, because they do not have much experience in such projects. This study attempted to explore the preferences regarding interior and exterior apartment spaces, and neighborhood environment to provide information about how to better implement a family friendly community program. For this purpose, data were collected from 418 housewives who are apartment dwellers in Daejeon city. The results were as follows; first, the person in charge must consider child care facilities, culture, and sports centers in order to start building a community lifestyle. Second, people with relatively low levels of education and short terms of residence are more deeply motivated by community lifestyle compared to others. Third, families with their first young child showed much interest in communal child care facilities. If the people in charge can motivate and encourage such residents to be engaged in family friendly community projects, the project will effectively progress.

보건소 건강증진 사업 중 한방아토피교실의 역할과 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study for Role and Effects of Atopic Dermatitis Care Program with Korean Medicine in Public Health Center)

  • Objectives: The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects and develop the role and contents of the atopic dermatitis care program with Korean medicine in a public health center. Methods: The data were collected from 180 parents and 43 kindergarten teachers who participated in a child care program with Korean medicine. The program ran from April to October of 2012. The atopic dermatitis conditions of children were reported by SCORAD index; the questionnaires to measure effect and satisfaction of the program were composed of demographic items, children's life habit change checklist, etc. The questionnaires were executed before and after the program. Results: The SCORAD index total scores decreased (1.3908) after the program, especially itching scores (1.1) and sleep disorder scores (0.5693) significantly. The satisfaction with the program was 88% and 77% of parents and teachers groups, respectively. Making food and treatment were mentioned as the best program. The Children's food preference for junk food, irritability, and anger also decreased after the program. Conclusions: From this study, the atopic dermatitis care program with Korean medicine is worthwhile for treating atopic dermatitis.

자녀출산 전후의 부모들을 위한 양육여건 및 부모교육 실태 조사 - 대전광역시를 중심으로- (A Survey on Child Rearing Conditions and Parent Education for Parents before and after Childbirth)

  • The purpose of this study was to obtain a fundamental data for developing a policy concerning women and child rearing and a parent education program for young parents who are around their childbirth, a period crucially important both for the parents in terms of the role adjustment, career management, and family finance, and for the infants in terms of its physical and psychological well-being. The subjects were 509 mothers before and after childbirth currently living in the Metropolitan City of Daejeon. Data were obtained through questionnaires and interviews in two major areas of pregnancy-delivery-childcare and parent education. Data were analyzed using SAS, mostly through frequency analysis, percentiles, t-tests, and F-tests. Results of descriptive analyses were organized along the following areas and issues: Pregnancy(family planning, regular check-ups, difficulties, prenatal education, costs, etc.); delivery(type of delivery, delivery related experience, costs, clinic/medical institute of choice, worries/problems, help/supports, etc.); postpartum care(place, kinds of help and helper, costs, postpartum care facilities, etc.); childcare circumstances(place, carer, time schedules, childcare centers or facilities feeding and weaning, etc.); husband's attitudes and involvement in the overall process; working mothers(maternity leave, temporary retirement for child rearing, etc.); and, parent education(family planning, pregnancy, delivery, postpartum care, child rearing, areas or issues needing parent education, facilitative and hindering factors to ideal parenting, etc.). Differences between groups of pregnant mothers and postpartum mothers, working- and non-working mothers, groups of different income levels, mothers and fathers of different educational levels, mothers of first pregnancy(or childbirth) and experienced mothers were also analyzed. Several conclusions with suggestions were drawn in relation to the need for strong implementation as well as developing of policies on women and childcare and for developing a new parent education program for parents before and after childbirth.

시뮬레이션 기반 신생아 응급간호 교육 프로그램 개발을 위한 요구도 조사 (Educational Needs in the Development of a Simulation Based Program on Neonatal Emergency Care for Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the current status and needs in neonatal emergency training for nursing students in Korea and to obtain preliminary information to develop a simulation based educational program on neonatal emergency care for nursing students. Methods: Structured questionnaires were distributed to five hospitals and ten nursing schools during April and May, 2012. Data were collected from 59 nurses who worked in the nursery or Neonatal Intensive Care Units and 13 nursing educators who had specialized in pediatric nursing. Results: Most nurses (86.4%) reported that they had experienced an emergency situation with newborns. Most nursing educators (84.6%) claimed that more intensive training with newborns is needed for nursing students. In particular, training in neonatal resuscitation (72.2%), respiratory distress (59.7%), and neonatal seizures (18.1%) were highly recommended as simulation based training for nursing students. Conclusion: A significant need for neonatal emergency educational programs was found. More efforts should be made to provide nursing students with knowledge and skills for working with neonates. The findings of this survey will ultimately provide a basis for developing a simulation based educational program on neonatal emergency care for nursing students.

영유아 보육프로그램 실태 분석 연구 (An Analysis of Edu-care Programs in Korean Day Care Centers)

  • This study analyzed Korean edu-care programs for young children, including such parameters as educational planning and management, instructional materials, health, social life, expressiveness, language, and discovery. Using a questionnaire consisting of 170 items developed for the study, 830 parents evaluated the programs of 200 day care centers which their young children were attending Results showed that the programs serving children from birth through 2 years of age need to be better tailored to their developmental level by months of age, and the quality of programs for 3- to 5-year-olds needs to be enhanced. Suggestions were presented for the improvement of edu-care programs.

감각적 영성 활동이 유아의 자기 효능감에 미치는 효과 (The effect of the program for sensory activities devised to encourage spirituality on children self-efficacy)

  • 본 연구에서는 감각적 영성 활동이 유아가 지각한 유아의 자기 효능감에 미치는 효과를 규명하는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 U시에 소재한 C 보육시설과 H 보육시설에 다니는 만 4, 5세 유아 36명이었다. 실험을 하기에 앞서 전인옥(1996)이 번안하고 본 연구자가 재수정한 자기 효능감 검사를 실험집단과 비교집단 유아에게 실시하였다. 감각적 영성 활동은 통제 집단 유아를 대상으로 2009년 1월 19일에서 2월 16일까지 이루어졌고, 비교집단에는 일반적인 보육과정을 실시했다. 실험이 끝나고 나서 실험집단과 비교집단에 사후검사를 하였다. 연구 결과 감각적 영성 활동은 자기 효능감에 유의한 효과가 있었다. 하위영역인 신체적 영역, 사회정서적 영역, 인지적 영역에서 모두 효과가 있었다.
