한국 미숙아 관리의 현황과 전망 (Current Status of Korean Premature Infant Care and its Prospective)

  • Advances in neonatal care system and research have resulted in an increased survival rate among low birth weight infants in the industrialized countries. Recent Korean neonatal mortality and morbidity statistics, and current status of Korean neonatal intensive care facilities were reviewed here for the sake of future improvement and research. Morbidity statistics revealed that perinatal diseases accounted for 80% of the death of premature infants implying the possibility of its reduction by the vigorous prenatal care service in future.On the basis of extensive studies of nutritional support and growth rate of premature infants, commercial formulas for premature infants have been developed and various aspects of feeding techniques are standardized. However, problem of growth deficit of premature infants remains unsolved as medical problem. NICU specialists are challenged with the tasks of prenatal education or provision of care that minimizes the neurodevelopmental problems seen in preterm infants, various short-term outcome researches have been reported and those are reviewed here to promote research interest in the field of neonatal nursing. Systemic long-term outcome studies are also awaited in Korea for the formulation of welfare policy in future. Nursing science has to embrace all these interdisciplinary studies as their own research field in collaboration with neonatologist, nutritionist, rehabilitation therapist, social workers and teachers.

보육교사의 소진에 대한 인간관계와 업무보상 및 업무과중의 영향 (The Influence of Human Relationships, Compensation and Heavy Work on the Burnout of Childcare Teachers)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of human relationships, compensation, and heavy work on the burnout of childcare teachers. The subjects were 290 childcare teachers in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do province. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, Pearson's correlation, and the multi regression analysis. The main findings of this study were as follows. First, there were significant differences in the burnout according to individual characteristics such as types of childcare center, daily working hours, and monthly incomes. Second, human relationships, compensation, and heavy work directly influenced the burnout of childcare teachers. A heavy workload was the most important variable in burnout of childcare teachers. Next, the relationship with directors, relationship with parents, compensation, and relationship with co-workers had an effect on burnout of childcare teachers. The results of this study provide basic data to reduce burnout of childcare teachers.

아동중심의 지역사회개발 실천연구 -'포괄적 지역사회 계획(CCIs)'관점 적용- (A Study on Community Development Practice for Children: Applying the Perspective of CCIs)

  • 본 연구는 포괄적 지역사회계획 관점을 적용하여 아동중심의 지역사회개발 실천의 시사점을 찾는 것이다. 연구 참여자는 구룡포 마을(어촌)과 가능1동 마을(도시)에서 아동중심의 지역사회개발 실천경험을 가지고 있는 6명의 사회복지사이고 이들을 대상으로 FGI방법을 사용하였다. 발견된 주요 연구 결과는 첫째, CCIs 초기 단계에서 지역사회 사정기술이 중요하였다. 둘째, 어촌지역 실천에 있어서 현지화 전략이 유용하였다. 셋째, 빈곤한 아동의 부모를 조직화 하는 것이 중요하였다. 마지막으로, 외국의 연구와는 달리 어촌 마울에서의 아동중심의 지역사회개발 실천의 성과가 높게 나타났다.

누가 행복한 직장인인가?: 인구통계적·심리분석적 요인과 행복수준 간의 관계 (Who is Happy at Work?: The Relationship between Demographic·Psychographic Factors and Happiness Level)

  • 본 연구의 주된 목적은 누가 행복한 직장인인지를 파악하는 것이었다. 이를 위해 본 연구는 성별, 연령대, 결혼여부, 자녀수, 종교, 학력, 직급, 직업, 소득 등과 같은 인구통계적 요인, 외향성, 신경증적 예민함, 긍정신념과 같은 심리분석적 요인 그리고 행복 수준으로 구성된 이론모형을 제안하였고 분석하였다. 주요 분석 결과는 첫째, 인구통계적 요인과 심리분석적 요인 모두 직장인의 행복 수준에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 자녀수, 신경증적 예민함, 긍정신념은 직장인의 행복을 예측하는 주요 요인인 것으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로 본 연구는 직장인의 행복 수준을 증진시킬 수 있는 요인들을 실증했다는 점에서 시사점이 있다.

전자그림책의 활용실태와 인식: 아이돌보미와 유아교육과 학생의 비교를 중심으로 (Actual Utilization and Recognition of Electronic Picture Books: Based on the Comparison between In-Home Childcare Providers and ECE Students)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic information related to electronic picture books and implications for the development of high-quality in-home child care service programs by examining the perceptions and actual conditions of electronic picture books. A survey was conducted with 216 in-home childcare workers from the one Healthy Family Support Center who participated in the workshop on electronic picture books and 161 students from the Department of Early Childhood Education at two Universities as a comparison group. The findings are as follows. First, there was no difference between the two groups in recognition of ICT competencies and satisfaction with electronic picture books. Second, both groups viewed electronic picture books are effective in preparing for the information age and very positive in providing electronic picture books. Third, the valuation of electronic picture books in both groups was higher than that of paper picture books. Fourth, there was no significant difference between the two groups in valuing e-picture books by ICT competence. The results of this study provide implications for the development of systematic educational programs to enhance the job performance of in-home child providers, which will be expanded in the future, by examining ICT competencies, e-picture book actual utilization, and recognition between the in-home childcare providers and ECE students.

자연을 통한 자연친화적 활동 프로그램이 유아의 태도에 미치는 효과 (The effects of environment-friendly activities through nature to attitude of children)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate how environment-friendly activities through nature affects attitude of children. 5-6 years old children were targeted for study from March to December, 2014. Rapid changes of modern society made increase of female workers and their participation rates in economic activity which results children to play more time with artificial toys and media. There are 3 stages to investigate effects. $1^{st}$ stage is to know about woods by visiting woods and experience environment-friendly activity. $2^{nd}$ stage is to experience woods with 5 senses not only in real woods but also in classroom. Lastly $3^{rd}$ stage is to make art work with natural object and make woods in classroom. Changes of hildren's attitude and view toward to the nature were recorded and analyzed by anecdotes perpetual inventory and environment-friendly attitude examination. By analysis of infant gives you the opportunity to encounter nature, often in conjunction with ongoing enjoys nature-friendly program in the classroom to play with toys, rather than a complete natural objects gradually formalized when presenting a natural, concentrated than the previous game this time is enhanced and creativity through nature through the promotion doeeojim and attitude to nature is also eco-friendly activities byeonhwadoem program showed that the impact on the attitude of the infant.

A Systematic Review on the Mental Health Status of Patients Infected With Monkeypox Virus

  • Objectives: This study aims to extract and summarize the literature on the mental health status of patients with monkeypox. Methods: This review was carried out according to the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines using different databases and publishers such as Scopus, Sage, ScienceDirect, PubMed, BMJ, Wiley Online Library, Wolters Kluwer OVID-SP, and Google Scholar. The literature review was based on monkeypox and mental health. The year of publication was 2021-2023, during the monkeypox disease period. Data were extracted from opinions, editorials, empirical studies, and surveys. Results: Based on the literature related to the mental status of patients with monkeypox, the following themes and subthemes were identified: anxiety and depression, self-harm and suicidal tendencies, neuropsychiatric symptoms, mental health, social stigma, sex workers, vaccination, and stress-related diseases. Conclusion: A review of monkeypox virus infection studies reveals that 25%-50% of patients experience anxiety and depression due to isolation, boredom, and loneliness. Factors such as infected people, a lack of competence among healthcare professionals, and shame over physical symptoms exacerbate mental insults. The implications of society include increased self-harm, suicide, low productivity, fear of stigmatization, and transmission of infection.

희망과 자기주도학습과의 관계에서 성장 마인드셋과 그릿의 역할 (The roles of growth mindset and grit in relation to hope and self-directed learning)

  • 최근 지식 기반사회의 도래에 따라 직장인들에게도 끊임없는 자기 학습이 필요하다. 특히 희망이 강한 사람은 자기주도학습이 강한 것으로 나타났는데 그 사이에서 심리적인 특성이나 신념인 성장 마인드셋과 Grit이 매개역할을 할 것으로 판단된다. 이에 본 연구는 직장인들의 희망과 자기주도학습 사이에서 성장 마인드셋과 그릿의 매개효과를 파악하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 연구대상은 서울, 대전, 충남, 충북 지역에 위치하는 총 32개의 직장에서 선정하였고 총 368명이었다. 자료 분석은 빈도분석, 상관분석 및 구조방정식 모형 분석을 실시하여 수행하였고 주된 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석 결과 희망과 성장 마인드셋, 그릿, 자기주도학습의 모든 하위 요인에서 유의한 정적인 상관관계가 있었다. 둘째, 경로분석 결과 희망은 자기주도학습에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 셋째, 희망은 성장 마인드셋과 그릿을 매개로 하여 간접적인 영향을 미치고 있었다. 끝으로 본 연구의 제한과 직장인들의 자기주도학습을 높이기 위하여 희망, 성장 마인드셋, Grit을 촉진시키기 위한 정책적 함의를 하였다.

직장인의 '졸혼' 찬반 관련 요인 : 판별분석의 적용 (Factors related to the pros and cons of 'Jol-hon' of workers : the application of discriminant analysis)

  • 본 연구는 직장인들의 졸혼 찬반 여부에 영향을 미치는 요인을 파악하는데 목적을 두었다. 이를 위하여 충남지역에서 근무하는 직장인 288명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 주요 변인 간의 상관분석을 수행하였으며, 졸혼 찬반 여부에 따른 희망, 성장 마인드셋, 조직소통의 차이점을 분석하기 위해 판별분석을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상관분석 결과 희망, 성장 마인드셋 및 조직소통은 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 판별 분석 결과, 연령이 낮을수록, 미혼자인 경우, 희망이 낮을수록, 조직소통이 낮을수록 졸혼에 찬성하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 기혼자의 경우 졸혼 찬반 집단 간 주요 변수의 차이가 없었으나, 미혼자의 경우 조직소통이 낮을수록 졸혼에 찬성하는 것으로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 제한점과 추후 졸혼을 연구하기 위한 이론적 기반을 마련하는데 의의가 있음을 밝혔다.

어린이 급식소 조리종사자의 직무만족도 조사 -100인 미만의 어린이 급식소를 중심으로- (Job Satisfaction of Children Foodservice Employees at Daycare Centers)

  • The research was conducted by center for children's foodservice management in Hanam-si. In order to improve job satisfaction, a survey was carried out by working conditions and job satisfaction in children foodservice employees working at child daycare centers registered from January to April. Ninety-five surveys out of 120 were collected, and 76 surveys were analyzed. Job satisfaction consisted of four elements, working environment, welfare, human relationships, and job-itself, analyzed by general characteristics. Pearson's correlation was carried out between job satisfaction and intention to change job by Likert 5 scales using SPSS statistic program. The percentages of child daycare centers owned by civilians was 52.6%, high school education level was 65.8%, permanent workers was 68.4%, and less than 1 year of foodservice was 34.2%. Average scores of job satisfaction were as follows: working environment scored 20.6 out of 25 points, welfare scored 10.3 out of 15 points, human relationships scored 17.5 out of 20 points, and job-itself scored 13.2 out of 15 points. The lowest job satisfaction average was 'I get paid fairly regarding the working hours and the amount of work' with a score of 3.6 points. Job satisfaction based on facility type, age, education level, and working period did not show significant differences, whereas hired status, numbers of foodservice children, and intention to change jobs showed significant differences. Hired status showed significant differences with welfare satisfaction (P<0.05). Numbers of children showed a significant difference with welfare and human relationship satisfaction (P<0.01, P<0.05). Intention to change job showed a significant difference with four elements of job satisfaction (P<0.05, P<0.01, P<0.01). In conclusion, to improve job satisfaction of children foodservice employees, working conditions and welfare satisfaction should be increased.
