금속 몸체를 갖는 휴대단말기를 위한 MediaFLO/GPS/Bluethooth용 새시 모드 안테나의 설계 (Design of MediaFLO/GPS/Bluetooth Chassis Mode Antenna for Mobile Handset with Metallic Body)

  • 본 논문에서는 아래위로 7.6 mm의 간격을 갖고 있는 두 개의 금속판을 단락 핀으로 연결하고, 그 사이에 급전점을 위치시킴으로써 MediaFLO(Media Forward Link Only)/GPS(Global Positioning System)/Bluetooth 대역의 안테나 구현하였다. 안테나는 각각 사용 주파수 밴드별로 $0.5\;{\lambda}$ 슬롯 안테나와 단락된 패치 안테나의 배열로 해석이 가능하다. 제안된 안테나는 최근에 늘어나고 있는 금속 몸체를 갖는 이동 통신 단말기에서 별도의 안테나 없이, 단말기의 몸체를 안테나로 재활용할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • 최근 지구환경에 대한 전 세계적인 관심증가에 따른 친환경 이동수단에 대한 수요가 늘고 있다. 휘발유를 에너지원으로 하는 내연기관 이륜차의 경우 소음 공해와 배기가스 배출로 인해 국제적으로 전기이륜차로의 보급을 추진하고 있다. 이에 정확한 전기이륜차 성능평가의 필요성이 증가하고 있다. 전기이륜차의 성능을 평가하는 방법은 도로에서 주행 시험하는 방법과 실내에서 차대동력계를 이용한 시험방법이 있다. 차대동력계는 전기이륜차가 도로에서 주행하는데 받는 주행 저항을 전기모터에 의해 재현시켜 준다. 이때 도로부하 설정은 차대동력계에 의한 시험의 결과에 영향을 준다. 본 논문에서는 차대동력계를 이용한 성능평가의 중요한 설정 값인 도로부하 설정에 대한 방법인 테이블법과 타력주행 시험에 의한 도로부하 설정의 차이에 대해 비교 분석하였다.

후륜 조향각 결정을 통한 통합 섀시 제어기의 성능 향상 (Performance Improvement of Integrated Chassis Control with Determination of Rear Wheel Steering Angle)

  • 본 논문은 자세 제어 장치(ESC)와 후륜 조향 장치(RWS)를 장착한 통합 섀시 제어기의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 후륜 조향각을 결정하는 방법을 제안한다. 차량을 안정화시키기 위해 필요한 제어 요 모멘트는 자세 제어 장치와 후륜 조향 장치를 이용하여 만들어진다. 각 장치의 타이어 힘을 결정하기 위해 의사역행렬 제어할당 방법을 적용한다. 제어기의 성능을 향상시키기 위해 후륜 조향 장치의 조향각을 결정하는 데에 네 가지 방법을 적용한다. 차량 시뮬레이션 패키지인 CarSim에서 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 제안된 방법들이 통합 섀시 제어기의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있음을 검증한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 축소 로터의 성능시험과 축소 헬기 Flight Test Bed 개발이 가능한 헬리콥터 섀시다이나모미터(HCDS)를 개발하여 지상시험을 수행하였다. 축소 헬기는 엔진 출력에 따른 컬렉티브 피치각의 상호 관계로부터 로터의 일정 회전속도에 대한 추력과 동력의 변화를 확인하고, 그 결과로 OGE에서의 정지비행효율(F.M.)이 0.76으로 비행시험 가능성을 점검하였다. 본 헬리콥터 섀시다이나모미터(HCDS) 시험 결과는 축소 헬기 개발과 로터 블레이드의 성능 평가에 활용할 것이다.

Composite material optimization for heavy duty chassis by finite element analysis

  • In the study, investigation of fiber- reinforced composite materials that can be an alternative to conventional steel was performed by finite element analysis with the help of software. Steel and composite materials have been studied on a four axle truck chassis model. Three-dimensional finite element model was created with software, and then analyzes were performed. The analyses were performed for static and dynamic/fatigue cases. Fatigue cases are formed with the help of design spectra model and fatigue analyses were performed as static analyses with this design spectra. First, analyses were performed for steel and after that optimization analyses were made for the AS4-PEEK carbon fiber composite and Eglass-Epoxy fiber composite materials. Optimization of composite material analyzes include determining the total laminate thickness, thickness of each ply, orientation of each ply and ply stacking sequence. Analyzes were made according to macro mechanical properties of composite, micromechanics case has not been considered. Improvements in weight reduction up to %50 provided at the end of the composite optimization analyzes with satisfying stiffness performance of chassis. Fatigue strength of the composite structure depends on various factors such as, fiber orientation, ply thickness, ply stack sequence, fiber ductility, ductility of the matrix, loading angle. Therefore, the accuracy of theoretical calculations and analyzes should be correlated by testing.

노드 기반 스케줄링 방법을 이용한 FlexRay 네트워크 시스템의 구현 (Implementation of FlexRay Network System using Node-based Scheduling Method)

  • As vehicles become intelligent for convenience and safety of drivers, in-vehicle networking (IVN) systems are essential components of intelligent vehicles. Recently, the chassis networking system which require increased network capacity and real-time capability is being developed to expand the application area of IVN systems. Also, FlexRay has been developed for the chassis networking system. However, FlexRay needs a complex scheduling method of static segment, which is a barrier for implementing the chassis networking system. Especially, if we want to migrate from CAN network to FlexRay network using CAN message database that was well constructed for the chassis networking system by automotive vendors, a novel scheduling method is necessary to be able to reduce design complexity. This paper presents a node-based scheduling method for FlexRay network system. And, in order to demonstrate the method's feasibility, its performance is evaluated through an experimental testbed.

국내에서 운영중인 시내버스의 시험모드에 따른 배출특성 비교 연구 (A Study on the Comparison of Emission Characteristics of In-Use Urban Bus by Test Modes)

  • Recently, emission tests for heavy-duty vehicles have been conducted by heavy-duty engine dynamometer. But, it contains weaknesses that present inconveniences to install and uninstall engines and limitations to reflect on practical characteristics for vehicle driving. On the other hand, chassis dynamometer test is able to differentiate characteristics of real driving patterns due to the reason that vehicles can be examined by utilizing chassis dynamometer. This study aimed at comparing the characteristic of emitting regulatory substances of urban buses on Heavy-duty chassis dynamometer. The characteristic was analyzed based on vehicle speed by using both domestic and overseas developed heavy-duty vehicle test modes. As a result, this work attempted to investigate possibilities to take advantage of Heavy-duty vehicle test modes as a method to manage emissions from heavy-duty vehicles.

승용차의 도로면 소음 평가를 위한 시험절차 고찰 (A Test Procedure for Road Noise Evaluation)

  • Several tests are performed to evaluate road booming noise. Baseline test delivers the information of road noise characteristics. Coupling effect between structure and acoustics is obtained from the mode shapes and the natural frequencies by the modal test. Equivalent stiffness at joint areas between chassis and car-body system can be determined by the input point inertance test. Noise sensitivity of body mounting point of a chassis part can be obtained from the noise transfer function test with input point inertance test. Operational deflection shape makes us analyze the actual vibration modes of the chassis system under actual loading and find noise sources very easily. finally, the transfer function analysis is used to identify noise paths through the chassis system. However, all of the tests above mentioned must be performed to evaluate road booming noise. The objectives and the procedures of the tests are described in this paper. Also, the guideline for efficient road noise evaluation test can be found.

샤시부품 동특성 해석을 위한 전차량 해석모델 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Vehicle Dynamic Model for Dynamic Characteristics Analysis of Chassis Parts)

  • This study presents full vehicle dynamics model for the dynamic characteristic analysis of chassis parts which are suspension and brake system. This vehicle dynamics model is appled to kinematics and quasi-static analysis for each chassis part. In order to develop the vehicle dynamics model, the parameters of each chassis element part which are bush, spring and damper are measured by experiment. Also the wheel forces and moments of 6 DOF are measured at each wheel center. These data are applied to input parameter for vehicle dynamics model. And the verification of the developed model is achieved to comparison with the experimental force data of spring, trailing arm and assist arm by using the load response by strain gauge. These experimental force data are acquired by road test at event surfaces of P/G which are belgian and chuck holes roads.

  • Recently, the automotive technology has developed with electronics and information technology as convergence technology while vehicles had been regarded as machines. Moreover, vehicles are becoming more intelligent and safer devices, assembly of advanced technologies by customers' demand. Even though all of installations of vehicle have attracted as diverting devices, it cause drivers' mistakes like delay of response on traffic condition. Here, we proposed the Field Operational Test (FOT) environment which could be used as driving and road conditions collector(Vehicle motion, Traffic condition, Driver input, Driver state, etc.) for researches about Driver Friendly Intelligent System(SCC, LDWS, etc.), Human Vehicle Interface(Driving Workload, etc.) and Economic Drive Model. Furthermore driving patten and fuel consumption patten of drivers were analyzed by measured data and direction of future research was suggested.
