  • Semiconductor processes need measurement to confirm where there are problems in quality after progresses manufacturing process. This paper suggests equipment and automatic measure sampling method that control monitoring ratio according to change point occurrence availability of process that is not measure method by the existent simple ratio rate. This paper defines measure section as ailment section, metastable section and stability section by change point standard and create statistical model of each section and developed suitable measure rate model by section. As a result, we have accomplished maximum throughput and minimum sampling number that needs to maintain constant level of quality. Proposed method minimizes load of measure process by brings production quality sophistication and decrease of process badness and lowers measure rate in stable section making perception about problem occurrence quick heightening measure rate at change point occurrence.

  • A simple measure of uncertainty importance based on normalized metric distance to quantify the entire change of cumulative distribution functions (CDFs) has been developed for use in probability safety assessments (PSAs). The metric distance measure developed in this study reflects the relative impact of distributional changes of inputs on the change of an output distribution, white most of the existing uncertainty importance measures reflect the magnitude of relative contribution of input uncertainties to the output uncertainty. Normalization is made to make the metric distance measure a dimensionless quantity. The present measure has been evaluated analytically for various analytical distributions to examine its characteristics. To illustrate the applicability and strength of the present measure, two examples are provided. The first example is an application of the present measure to a typical problem of a system fault tree analysis and the second one is for a hypothetical non-linear model. Comparisons of the present result with those obtained by existing uncertainty importance measures show that the metric distance measure is a useful tool to express the measure of uncertainty importance in terms of the relative impact of distributional changes of inputs on the change of an output distribution.

  • In this paper, we firstly define a new combined segmentation measure and propose a segmentation algorithm using this measure. The combined segmentation measure is a weighted sum of intensity, motion, and a change segmentation measure that is extracted from the resulting image of the proposed change detector. The change segmentation measure is defined as an absolute change value difference between an pixel and its neighboring region from the eroded image, which results from morphological erosion filtering to eliminate many inaccurate components included in the resulting image of a conventional change detector. The change segmentation measure can be used as an efficient segmentation measure for the accurate segmentation of neighboring moving objects and static background regions. Therefore, the proposed combined segmentation measure can determine exact boundaries in the segmentation process of region-based coding even though the estimated motion vectors around the boundaries of moving objects and static background regions are inaccurate and the intensities around the boundaries are similar.

  • According to related studies, it was revealed that the procedural deviation plays a significant role in initiating accidents or incidents. This means that, to maximize safety, it is indispensable to be able to answer the question of “why the operators deviate from procedures\ulcorner” In this study, the SC (step complexity) measure is introduced to investigate its applicability for studying the procedural deviation, since it was shown that the change of the operators' performance is strongly correlated with the change of SC scores. This means that the SC measure could play an important role for researches related to the procedural deviation, since it is strongly believed that complicated procedures would affect both the operator' performance and the possibility of the procedural deviation. Thus, to ensure this expectation, the meaning of the SC measure is investigated through brief explanations including the necessity, theoretical basis and verification activities of the SC measure. As a result, it is confirmed that the SC measure can be used to explain the change of the operators' performance due to the task complexity implied by procedures. In addition, it seems that the SC measure nay be useful for various purposes, particularly for scrutinizing the relationship between the procedural deviation and complicated procedures.

  • In this paper, we propose the unsupervised change detection algorithm that apply the similarity measure techniques to the hyperspectral image. The general similarity measures including euclidean distance and spectral angle were compared. The spectral similarity scale algorithm for reducing the problems of those techniques was studied and tested with Hyperion data. The thresholds for detecting the change area were estimated through EM(Expectation-Maximization) algorithm. The experimental result shows that the similarity measure techniques and EM algorithm can be applied effectively for the unsupervised change detection of the hyperspectral data.

  • This study was performed to provide preliminary data for the development of a useful instrument to measure the effect of sex education. The study was conducted with the voluntary participation of 155 college students enrolled in the course "Sexuality and Relationship" at Y university in Seoul. At the end of that course, they were asked to write freely about the change they had experienced on sexuality. All meaningful statements were elicited and classified into 7 categories; "Change of Knowledge", "Enlightenment", "Change of Attitude on Sexuality", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of. Identity", "Change of Emotion", "Change of Behavior:' There were significant changes in the areas of knowledge(28. 6%), enlightenment(27.4%), and attitudes(20.3%) about sexuality among these 7 categories. The Change of Knowledge category consists of 3 areas: "concretion of knowledge", "increase of information", and "correction of misunderstanding." In the category of Enlightenment, total 12 areas are included: "sex role", "erception of lack of knowledge", "importance of family", "life plan", "parent role", "value of life", "equality", "sexual autonomy", "importance of sexuality", "freedom of sexuality", "perception of sexual problem", and "meaning of love." The Attitude Change category consists of 8 areas. These are "being natural", "being progressive", "being sensitive", "being truthful", "being expressive", "being cautious", "being responsible", and "being confident". The category of Buildup of Ability includes 4 areas: "problem solving", "sex education", "relationship", and "communication". The category of Buildup of Identity includes "sexual identity", and "value of sexuality". The Emotional Change category includes 3 areas: "positive feeling", "negative feeling", and "breaking from negative feeling on sexuality". The Behavior Change category includes "sex-related behavioral change". In conclusion, up to now most researches on sex education effect measures only changes of knowledge, attitude, and behavior. But we believe the changes in "Enlightenment", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of Identity", "Change of Emotion", should be included in addition to knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the development of an instrument to measure the sex education effects. And the effect of sex education should measure the degree of learning of autonomy, enlightenment, and ability of behavior and so on rather than studying the simple changes in sexuality.enment", "Buildup of Ability", "Buildup of Identity", "Change of Emotion", should be included in addition to knowledge, attitude, and behavior in the development of an instrument to measure the sex education effects. • The urban stream include the channel and its adjacent banks, or hillslopes and it consists of various landscape elements. The riparian ecosystem is important to people. Its water is extracted for irrigation and drinking supplies. Biodiversity and many wetland species are protected here. The riparian ecosystem is diverse and needs to be preserved well. So, it is necessary to measure the features of the urban stream accurately to figure out the change of the riparian ecosystem. However, the traditional Electronic Distance Measurement(EDM) surveying is difficult to measure the curvilinear features of the stream - e, g, angle, curve. The beacon Differential Global Positioning System(DGPS) can handle to measure the curvilinear shape. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to measure the change of the river bed in urban stream accurately using realtime beacon DGPS, and ultimately to provide the basic data for identifying the change of the river ecosystem.

  • It has long been known that Wiener measure and Wiener measurbility behave badly under the change of scale transformation [3] and under translation [2]. However, Cameron and Storvick [4] obtained the fact that the analytic Feynman integral was expressed as a limit of Wiener integrals for a rather larger class of functionals on a classical Wienrer space.

  • Commercial banks play an important role as the main source of funding in the transition process of Vietnam as a market economy. As a result, enhancing the efficiency and productivity of Vietnamese banks can decrease the lending cost for individuals and enterprises. This study is to measure and analyze the productivity change of Vietnamese banking system in different ownership cohorts and sources of this change during the period of restructuring (2011-2019). The Hicks-Moorsteen total factor productivity index is utilised to measure the productivity change and to identify the sources of this change. For an empirical analysis, the data of 28 Vietnamese commercial banks from 2011 to 2018 is collected from their financial statements including balance sheets and income statements. The results show an increase of Vietnamese bank productivity due to the technological progress. While foreign and joint-venture banks are the most advanced cohort, state-owned banks have the lowest rate of productivity growth. The restructuring program negatively impacts scale efficiency and this measure attributes to a decline in the overall efficiency of the banks. We also found that state-owned commercial banks are the most efficient group in the sense that they can achieve the maximal level of revenue from a given amount of expense.

  • In this research, the automatic level measurement system used in land leveling was developed. By using a laser transmitter and a receiver as measuring equipments, level was measured automatically. The driving part of this system was composed of stepping motor, timing belt and pulley. It drived the laser receiver to track laser beam generated form the laser transmitter. The level measuring experiments were performed about three level change shapes (step, random, sine). This system could measure step level change of which amplitude was 40mm in 0.5s, random level change within .+-. mm, maximum measurement error. In case of sine level change, experiment was executed with varying the spatial frequency of level change. As a result, this system was able to measure sine level change of which spatial frequency was 0.5m $^{-1}$ accurately.
