베인형 진공펌프의 내부유동과 구조 강성에 관한 해석적 연구 (Analytical Study on Inner Flow and Structural Stiffness in Vane Type of Vacuum Pump)

  • In the study, the inner flow characteristics were analyzed by modifying the inner design parameter of the vane-type vacuum pump. The effect of pressure generated by the inner flow of pump on the rotor and vane was analyzed. The design parameter was analyzed using the angle variation of tilting and rotation of the vane. MRF was used for the analysis conducted using a virtual condition where the rotor and vane are rotated. The pressure gained from the load of the rotor and vane in the flow analysis is used for the structure analysis. Based on the results, the effect of variable vane design was revealed in structural strength. The effect of centrifugal and friction force generated during pump operation on structural strength was also analyzed.

  • In this paper, a modeling method for the vibration analysis of rotating structures composed of beams and shells employing multi-reference frames is presented. The rotary inertia effect and the geometric stiffening effect that results from centrifugal inertia force we considered for beams and shells with lumped mass model. In most previous studies, single reference frame has been employed for the vibration analysis. In the present study, a modeling method employing multi-reference frames is presented and the effects of employing multi-reference frames on the analysis accuracy are investigated through solving numerical examples.

  • This paper describes the effect of rotating frequency on the pulse tube of Stirling type pulse tube refrigerator. Various conditions were analyzed by two-dimensional analysis with several dominant non-dimensional parameters. With the additional pressure term influenced by centrifugal force in rotating condition, the linearized conservation equations of mass, momentum, energy of the gas were solved to obtain the first order variables and calculate the enthalpy flow in rectangular coordinates. The rotational effect in pulse tube for the refrigerator's performance were quantitatively evaluated. According to the first order analysis, the enthalpy flow decreases with the rotating speed.

급액속도가 원심식 박막증발기의 운전 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Feeding Rate for Operation Properties of Centrifugal Thin Film Evaporator)

  • 원심식 박막증발기를 이용해 마늘착즙을 증발 농축하면서 급액속도가 증발표면에서의 액의 흐름상태와 운전 특성에 미치는 영향에 대해서 조사하였다. 급액속도 $25{\sim}125kg/h$의 운전 조건하에서 증발표면에서의 이론적인 박막의 두께는 $0.52{\sim}0.89mm$ 그리고 체류시간은 $1.77{\sim}6.75$초로 계산되었다. 한편 Reynolds number로 판단해 볼 때 증발표면에서의 마늘착즙의 흐름은 대체로 층류로 여겨졌다. 일정한 증기 및 증발온도 조건하에서 농축비는 급액속도가 증가함에 따라 감소한 반면 증발속도와 총괄열전달계수는 어느 일정한 값까지 증가하다가 감소하는 경향을 나타내었다. 그리고 급액속도 $25{\sim}125kg/h$(증발온도 $40^{\circ}C$, 증기온도 $95{\sim}120^{\circ}C$, 급액의 초기농도 $32^{\circ}Brix$)에서 농축비는 $1.04{\sim}2.04$, 총괄열전달계수는 $3,074.33{\sim}17,614.70kJ/m^{2}{\cdot}h{\cdot}^{\circ}C$ 였다.

나선 홈 펌프 실의 누설 및 로터다이내믹 해석 (Leakage and Rotordynamic Analysis of Spiral-Grooved Pump Seal Based on Three-Control-Volume Theory)

  • In this paper the leakage prediction md rotordynamic analysis of an annular seal with a smooth rotor and spiral-grooved stator is performed. For the development of a theoretical model, the three-control-volume analysis of the circumferentially-grooved seal is expanded by considering pressure reduction due to the pumping effect of spiral groove and pressurized flow through the spiral groove. Validation on the present analysis is achieved by comparisons with available experimental data. For the leakage prediction the present analysis generally shows a reasonable agreement with experimental results. Rotordynamic coefficients for rotor speed with spiral angles show same trend, but the magnitudes of rotordynamic coefficients yield differences between analysis and experimental results.

  • This paper deals with the stress concentration of the rotating disc in detail. We studied maximum stress of rotating disc with respect to the various parameter of circular hole such as position, size, number of the hole, then the mollified effect of maximum stress due to pin-hole around circular hole, using FEM, the results are as follows: 1. The more the number of circular hole and the further from the center, the maximum equivalent stress reduces. 2. When the pin-hole is located 60$^{\circ}$ from the x-axis, the maximum stress reduces significantly due to the effect of interference.

Differential actions of intracerebroventricular (ICV) opioid receptor agonists on the activity of dorsal horn neurons (DHN) in the cat spinal cord

  • ICV infusion of morphine (MOR) produces strong analgesia in man and animals. The analgesic effect is thought to be mediated by the centrifugal inhibtory control, But neural mechanisms of the analgesic effect of ICV morphine are not well understood. For example, in the previous studies, ICV morphine does not inhibit nociceptive transmission in the spinal cord. On the contrary, ICV MOR often excites activity of dorsal horn neuron in the spinal cord. In the present study, we found that ICV MOR had dust actions on activity of dorsal horn neuron that it produced both inhibition and excitation of dorsal horn neurons. Since MOR exerts i Is action via three different types of opioid receptors, we further sought to investigate if there are differential effects of opioid receptor agonists on dorsal horn neurons when administered ICV.

  • Effect of tempering treatment on the mechanical properties of 12Cr heat resistant steel with ferrite phase was investigate in this study. As time and temperature of tempering treatment were increase, C and Cr contents in matrix structure were decreased. Due to increase of the amount of Cr26C6 type carbides. It was confirmed in mechanical properties experimental that tensile strength and hardness were decreased, while elongation and impact value were, increased with increasing the time and temperature.

  • Vibration analysis of rotating blade is the main purpose of present study. In this work, general formulation is proposed to analyze rotating shell type structures including the centrifugal force, Coriolis acceleration and initial twist. Futhermore, simplified equations are derived for the case of an open circular cylindrical shell. Based on the concept of degenerated shell element with the Reissner-Mindlin's assumptions, the finite element method is adopted for solving the governing equations. (onitted)
