  • Caves have the values of learning sites and tourism resources. But show caves are at risk of being ravaged, destroyed, and Polluted. The Purpose of this study is to analyse the management condition and the problems of the show caves, and to suggest the alternative improvement for the cave management. The research of the Cultual Properties Administration revealed many Problems including the management system, safety diagnosis, the demand for comprehensive academic research and so on. An analyzing of the questionnaire about cave manager demanded to reform working conditions, tourist education, an amendment of the Cultural Properties Protection Act, expert education for cave manager. In conclusion, It is necessary that construct the mutual cooperation system of an administrative organization, cave manager and tourist, and the Cave Management information System to manage database of cave environment.

  • PURPOSES : The objective of this research is establishing system components and optimizing operational procedures in order to systematically manage road cave-ins in urban areas. METHODS : Based on the literature review and alternative comparison, optimization methods is suggested. RESULTS : Throughout the study, location referencing system, database structure, and operation strategy(procedure) were clarified, and the optimization methods for each item were suggested. CONCLUSIONS : Road cave-in management should be focused on user safety rather than focusing on economic aspects. The occurrence of road cave-in should be addressed thoroughly by road management system(location referencing system, database structure, and operation strategy(procedure), and the optimization methods), since they are closely related to road users' safety.

With activation plan of cave resources home page of Speleological Society of Korean like home page of Speleological Society of Japan cave crane information, caving information, cave Q/A, cave publication, the relation site back the possibility of seeing information regarding the cave which is various in order to be, it reorganizes. The possibility of coming in contact in order to be, various branch information also the general rain specialist regarding the cave resources. Currently the Possibility of seeing the various branch data for the application of the cave resources at any time it is, home page of Speleological Society of Korean the possibility of doing to lead in order to be, it proposes the plan. From one person it will be able to study the data regarding the cave of various field in order, all curricular materials regarding the cave resources the educational program which leads a home page about under developing it proposes the activation plan of the cave resources.

  • There are lots of natural caves in northeastern area of China. in this paper emphasis on the securities of cave management and cave survey. And discussed about the securities of the tourist and the members of the survey team. Therefore, it is necessary to keep the items of the security management as a sightseeing caves and management environment and the situation of the conservation.

  • The Ondal cave, as limestone cave, located in 37$^{\circ}$ 03'N, 128$^{\circ}$ 29'E and in Ha-ri, Yongchun-myeon, Banyans-gun, Chungchongbuk-do. This study analyzed the groundwater of Ondal Cave with 44 items. On investigation almost of items were low and only germs were high than a base numerical value, this is supposedly caused by tourist entrance. For the better management of the Ondal cave the preventing is required.

If I am replaced in winker and I install a sensor light in the outlet by addition and use the electricity illumination that I installed for a tourist in the cave, it is expected that I can be available all the time that it is possible for electricity reduction more than the present and watches tourist passage plan private business Electric illumination in the cave for the environmental save in the cave because it is possible for

  • Geophysical exploration using electric resistivity, ground penetrating radar (GPR), and impedance high-frequency (ZHF) surveys was conducted in Gujwa-eup, Jeju City, Jeju Island, an island in the Korea Strait, to confirm the existence of new caves near known caves. The exploration revealed a number of anomaly zones, presumed to be caves; 27 sites at suitable locations and depth ranges were selected for drilling and further surveys. However, contrary to predictions, most of the anomaly zones were clinker layers or paleosols intercalated with lavas. Only five boreholes intersected caves. The clinker layers and paleosols were possibly detected as anomalies owing to their different physical properties from the other rocks. Two of the five cave-finding boreholes penetrated Yongcheon Cave; a new cave was found at the other. The two boreholes that penetrated Yongcheon Cave were drilled in areas where the cave has not been previously reported, and thus helped correct an error in the cave distribution map. The cave newly discovered in this boring exploration is 180 m long, and it is connected to the upstream part of Dangcheomul Cave (110 m). The cave contains well-developed lava helictites, lava levees, and ropy structures; carbonate speleothems such as soda straws, stalagmites, columns, and curtain shawls are also well preserved. Notably, the unique shape of the carbonate speleothems is attributed to their growth in relation to the cavern water that flowed into the cave along plant roots.

  • This study evaluated the stability through a three-dimensional numerical analysis method when a natural cave exists under a road in operation in Jeju Island. In order to confirm the geometric and geotechnical characteristics of the Jeju natural cave passing under the road, existing geotechnical survey reports were collected, and were studied the characteristics. In order to evaluate the effect of vehicle vibration loading on the natural cave in Jeju, three-dimensional numerical analysis was performed considering discontinuities. Through this, the stability of roads and caves with respect to vehicle speed and the depth of cover (distance from the road to the top of the natural cave) was evaluated and countermeasures were suggested. In order to secure the long-term stability of the Jeju natural cave that penetrates the lower part of the road, it was evaluated that systematic management such as long-term measurement management, reinforcement measures, and emergency measures would be necessary depending on the depth of the cover.
