전차선로 시스템의 축약 등가 선로정수에 관한 연구 (A Reduced Equivalent Line Constant of the Catenary System)

  • Line constants are composed by impedances and susceptances. A paper which was published estimated only impedances of line constants. Therefore, this paper estimates susceptances as well as impedances of equivalent five-conductors model using the reduced equivalent method. In order to verify estimated line constants, we measured line constants of real railway system. And we compared calculated results with measured data on 60Hz∼3000Hz. For the other verification, the calculation results from the proposed model and the measurement data from the test are compared focused on the amplification of harmonic current in the paper.

사전 이도가 주어진 기설 전차선로에서 전차선 장력을 증가시켰을 때 전차선 기하학적 형상 변화 연구 (A Study on the Geometry Change for the Increased Contact Wire Tension in the Pre-sagged Existing Catenary)

  • 본 논문은 경부 고속선과 같이 사전이도가 주어지는 기설 전차선로에서 전차선 장력만을 증가시켜 임시적인 속도 향상 도모하는 경우에 팬터그래프와 습동하는 전차선의 접촉 평면상의 기하학적 형상의 변화가 어떻게 될 것인가를 검토한 것이다. 검토를 위하여 우선 사전이도가 있는 경우에도 정확히 드로퍼 길이를 계산해 낼 수 있는 드로퍼 길이 계산 수식에 대하여 알아보았다. 다음으로 드로퍼 길이 계산 수식을 프로그램화한 전용계산 프로그램을 이용하여 경부고속선 전차선로의 49.5m 경간을 대상으로 전차선 장력을 20kN에서 23kN 및 25kN으로 증가시켰을 때 사전이도량의 변화를 계산하여보았다. 그리고 경부 2단계 구간 현장에서 실제 장력 증가 실험을 실시하여 사전이도량의 변화를 측정하였다. 측정 결과는 계산 값과 비교 검토를 수행하였으며, 결론적으로 전차선 장력을 증가시켜도 기하학적 형상의 변화는 미미하며 집전 성능에 별 영향이 없을 것임을 확인하였다.

  • 전기철도 차량은 검수를 위한 단계가 복잡하며, 안전사고에 대한 위험도 내포하고 있다. 이동식 전차선 시스템은 복잡한 과정의 검수고 입환 시스템에 대해 단순화가 가능하도록 하며, 사용자 편의성을 제공하고 안전성을 확보한다는 측면에서 매우 유용한 시스템이다. 본 논문에서는 기존 이동식전차선 대비 사용상 장점이 있고 국내 직류 시스템에 첫 적용되는 강체전차선을 적용하여 기계적인 내구성, 편의성, 작업자 안전성을 확보한 철도차량용 이동식 전차선 시스템에 대해 성능평가 및 연구개발 결과를 정리를 포함하여 현장설치를 위한 기본적인 특성을 종합적으로 분석하였다. 결론적으로 반복적인 사용 환경에 대한 내구성, 기계적인 하중에 대한 내구성, 안전성 등 요구 사양에서 우수한 결과를 나타내었다.

Numerical characterization of real railway overhead cables

  • This paper presents a numerical characterization of real railway overhead cables based on computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Complete analysis of the aerodynamic coefficients of this type of cross section yields a more accurate modelling of pressure loads acting on moving cables than provided by current approaches used in design. Thus, the characterization of certain selected commercial cables is carried out in this work for different wind speeds and angles of attack. The aerodynamic lift and drag coefficients are herein determined for two different types of grooved cables, which establish a relevant data set for the railway industry. Finally, the influence of this characterization on the fluid-structure interaction (FSI) is proved, the static behavior of a catenary system is studied by means of the finite element method (FEM) in order to analyze the effect of different wind angles of attack on the stiffness distribution.

부 타이어 소파제의 정적 장력 해석 방법 (Static Tension Analysis Method for Floating Tire Breakwater)

  • This paper deals with static tension analysis method for Floating Tire Breakwater(FTB). FTB can be used for the limited wave height. It is especially focused on Goodyear type FTB easily applied to the breakwater for the fisheries cultivating region. The numerical examples for FTB design procedure was reviewed. It is also studied the static analysis method of offshore catenary spread mooring system. The general calculation procedure for the tension versus excursion curves for the multi-line system using the basic catenary relationship was studied. Calculation results showed good agreement with some existing mooring results. To extend this mooring force calculating method to the floating fisheries caitivating cages, the strength of synthetic fiber was considered. This analysis method can be used to the estimation of the mooring force for the floating structures such as floating breakwaters and floating artificial reefs.

  • The Korean High Speed Train(KHST) had been developed and evaluating on the Kyoung-Bu High Speed Line by through 'G7-R&D project'. In order to evaluate the function and characteristics of high speed train system, various experimental conditions have been considered and conducted. In this paper, current collection characteristics of KHST between pantograph and catenary system and dynamic behaviors are measured and analysed over 300 to 350km/h in running speed of KHST. A measuring system which was developed and installed on the Korean High Speed Train for the performance and mechanical characteristics of the KHST pantograph is used for this trial running test and we proofed that KHST has a remarkable and stable current collection characteristics as it had been designed.

  • In recent society, the electricity is so essential for the human lives. Lots of modern people take many cultural benefits owing to the development of the power systems, the cell phone, the electrical appliances, and etc. However, the problems related to the electromagnetic field generate as the side effects. Examples are the fault in the electric machinery due to the electromagnetic coupling, the fault in the communication devices due to the electromagnetic field around the power line equipments, and the effect upon the human beings due to the electromagnetic field, and etc. In this paper, we induce the vector equation about the magnetic field based on Biot-Savart law. We calculate the magnetic field at the surface of the high speed train with this induced equation and the current in the high speed railroad catenary wire. Finally, we calculate the magnetic field in the high speed train considering the material property like the permeability, the conductivity, and so on.

  • Protective equipments have a very important protection role in power accident on catenary line. These equipments are installed on electrical pole. The poles have complicated with many bands(moveable bracket, branch wire anchor, shield wire, etc). So we have improved bands and installed bands on pole to test technical condition. The Result has showed effectiveness due to fixed position change of fault protective wire and to improve band shape. For example, reduction of band made cost, simplification of installing, correct position of protective wire and shield wire.

사전이도 적용에 따른 드로퍼에 작용하는 하중 예측 (Prediction of the force on the dropper according to the pre-sag)

  • For the improvement of a train speed in the conventional line from overhead system point of view, it is necessary to approach not only in the aspect of the increasement of tension for catenary but the application of a pre-sag. A certain tension acting on a dropper is removed when it is slack by the pantograph passing. Right after the pantograph passes, the dynamic force caused by the mass of contact wire acts on the dropper. If the pre-sag is applied to the catenary, the static force on the dropper is increased. For the assurance of the safety for the dropper, it is necessary to predict the dynamic force. The purpose of this study is to predict and analyze the force on the dropper according to the applied pre-sag.

  • Uplift of contact wire and dynamic characteristics between pantograph and contact wire are key interaction performance of OCS (Overhead Catenary System). These two evaluation items are the approval criteria for the performance between OCS and pantograph. A telemetry system or DAQ (Data Acquisition) System based on wireless communication make it monitor a dynamic behavior which is measured directly in a 25 kv like parts. While permissible working time is too short time to install is too long. In this paper, it is described that optimization the telemetry measurement system for OCS and increasing accuracy, easy adaptation, and faster handling can be also achieved through the study.
