A Practice Patterns of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists in South Korea (한국 소아청소년정신과 의사의 전문적 치료 현황)

  • Objectives : The aim of this study is to assess the career paths and practice patterns of child and adolescent psychiatrists in South Korea. Methods : A survey on demographic data, work environment, opinion on fellowship training program, and current practice patterns was conducted in 76/223 (34.0%) of all child and adolescent psychiatrists (N=223) were from 1980 to 2008. The survey data from the responders were analyzed. Results : More than half of those surveyed were women. The mean age of survey participants was 40.8 years; most were married, and lived in the Seoul National Capital Area. In general, the responders were very satisfied with their work. They worked in private practice, public sector, group practice, and as consultants. Up to 87% of the patients treated were children and adolescents. The most common treatment modalities were medication and parent psychoeducation. Social skills training and play therapy were applied mainly for children aged 4 to 12 years old. Cognitive behavioral therapy and counseling were preferred in adolescents. Conclusion : The current study used a database approach in order to define current practice patterns. These data may be helpful in consideration of future training programs, workforce issues in child and adolescent psychiatry in South Korea, and also in collaboration with other mental health providers.

The Relationship between the Nurse's Followership, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment. (임상간호사의 팔로워십(followership)과 직무만족, 조직몰입과의 관계)

  • This study investigated the relationship between the nurse's followership, job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The sample consisted of 173 nurses of 2 private university hospitals. The instruments used in this study were the followership scale (Kelly, 1994), the job satisfaction scale (Slavitts et al., 1978), the organizational commitment questionnaire (Mowday et al., 1979) and the demographic questionnaire. SPSS/WIN program was used for descriptive statistics, ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis of data. The results were as follows: 1) The styles of followership were classified as pragmatist followers (73.4%), exemplary followers (19.7%), passive followers (4.6%), and alienated followers (2.3%). 2) The mean of independent/critical thinking was 3.32 (M=3.0), and active involvement was 3.04 (M=3.0). As a whole, the mean of followership was 3.18 (M=3.0), job satisfaction was 2.82 (M=2.5), and organizational commitment was 3.97 (M=3.5). 3) Significant differences were found in the degree of clinical nurses' perception of followership according to the demographic characteristics such as age, education, position, and career. 4) Significant differences were found in the degree of clinical nurses' perception of followership according to followership styles. 5) The followership was significantly related to job satisfaction and organizational commitment. In conclusion, the nurse's followership is considered as an important concept and this suggested that the concept could be used as a major variable in measuring effectiveness of nursing organization.

  • In this thesis which takes fashion advertising that functions a marketing communication as an objective, I try to bear witness to the signifying system of garments though analyzing with semiotic methodology the signifying procedure on the base of the structural concept of Ferdinand de Saussure and the advertisement semiotic theory of Roland Barthes, to make clear their signifying structure and it meaning by understanding the characteristics of contemporary society and its cognitive system. Each sign of fashion advertising transfers the brand image through syntagmatic signification which contains the mythology of goods. Mannish style is encoded as tailored jacket, white shirt, H-silhouette and pants, non-color or being color, and it is presented as a clothing sign of casual wear for career women. Feminine style is encoded as X-silhouette, soutien collar suit style, various colors, and other details with womanly image, and it is presented as a clothing sign for maid or young wife 20\`s or 30\`s. Formal style is encoded as jacket vest, inner wear(blouse), two and three piece dress by pants or skirt and one-piece dress, and it is used in every age and class. Casual style is similar to formal style, but differs only in textile code. Clothing sign for housewives in middle age is encoded as H-silhouette of formal style, long jacket and pants and brown, being and grey colors. Contemporary popular phenomena in the signification of fashion advertising, and its temporal ideology reflected are as follows; According to the context of fashion advertising in the middle of 1990\`s, its fashion is that first, military look applied from the designs of various sort of military uniform and vest look and pant style applied from dandy-style imitated from man\`s wear are popuar. This mean that it reflects the change of point of view on woman\`s role in society today. That is, due to the equality between man and woman, it mirrors the ideology of feminism, and then, describes beautifully professional woman with carrer. Second, because that individualism is underlied for the change of consumer\`s consciousness, standardized popularity is disappeared, and in accordance with the mixture of various trends and personalities proposed every season, layered look that emphasizes individualism, easiness and naturalness is popular.

  • The purpose of this research is to analysis of difference about university curriculum of secretary from ethnographic research. The research participant 4 years is the university graduate. The participant who is selected is the practical career person of 3 or more years that Works at the Seoul individual enterprise. The specialist verified continuously about research truth and ethical from collection of data and analytical process. The research method and analysis results are as follows : First, Martial art and sports relation subject is more protocol secretary and secretary subject. But emphasized an importance about protocol secretary and secretary subject. Second, The male emphasized that Specialist training and segmentation in major field of study. The woman emphasized that women's studies and protocol secretary, culture of high-level class. Third, They have emphasized difference about private security in professionalism of curriculum.

  • The purpose of the study was to examine the vocational educational system of Egypt, focusing on the effectiveness of the three consecutive cycle-based curriculum and integrated technical education clusters (ITECs) in order to suggest some implications for innovating the current vocational education system of Korea. The vocational education system of Egypt is similar to that of Korea, in terms of general education to go to university and vocational education to go to labor market. However, the Egyptian system is different from the system of Korea in light of the three consecutive cycle-based curriculum that links secondary vocational education, vocational education of college level, and advanced technical and vocational education. In addition, the Egyptian system has adopted the "cluster" approach which integrates technical secondary school, intermediate technical college, and advanced technical college around one physical area so as to promote vocational education in collaboration with regional industries and to guarantee education quality. In the last part, some potential implications were suggested for upgrading the quality of vocational education of Korea based upon the benchmark results of the Egyptian vocational education system and career development of students.

  • We will investigate in depth the reasons why companies have a negative mindset and produce complaints about the internship system itself. On the other hand, we try to find out the success factors of domestic companies that have introduced and operate the exemplary internship system, and prepare policies to disseminate them. In order to do this, I would like to diagnose the problems related to the internship system in the current industry through questionnaires or interviews with existing internship students. It is hoped that this will help the participating students to have a positive mindset about the company and further contribute to the career search and adaptation to the firm from the university to the firm.

  • Social commerce is a kind of internet shopping mall in which consumers purchase the products with other consumers through mutual interactions including the development of SNS(social network service). Social commerce has expanded rapidly as a mainstream online shopping mall over the past five years driving consumers to purchase more fashion products providing the cheaper prices than open market internet shopping mall. The purpose of this study is to identify the important parameters of social commerce characteristics and consumer characteristics that affect repurchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. A 221 survey questionnaire was distributed to men in their 20's and 30's who live in Seoul metropolitan area. The data were analyzed utilizing Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, and regression analysis using the SPSS 18.0 program. The results revealed, first, that in terms of social commerce characteristics, three variables(website reputation, interactivity, and product scarcity) influenced repurchase intention. Among them, website reputation identified as the most important factor influencing repurchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. Second, with regard to consumer characteristics, interest and a tendency toward impulse buying affected the repurchase intention, and interest and internet shopping experience have influenced the word-of-mouth intention. Among three variables interest in social commerce identified as the key factor affecting both repurchase intention and word-of-mouth intention. The results of the study provide the practical implications and suggest the business strategies to enhance social commerce in the future by identifying the key social commerce characteristics and consumer characteristics that influence male consumers' buying behaviors.

A Study on Geisha's Dress Expressions in the Movie Focused on (영화 <게이샤의 추억>을 중심으로 본 게이샤복식 표현에 관한 연구)

  • Geisha's gorgeous kimonos and grotesque make-up was the object of envy to Japanese women. There is a line in the movie like "Kimonos to the Geisha is the same as colors to the painter." Likewise, splendid patterns and colorful kimonos were an indispensible method or symbol for showing their artistic accomplishments. The purpose of this study is to investigate concept and origin of Geisha and their dress and decoration, analyze the dress of the people which appear in the movie, , arrange the expression of Geisha's dress as a movie costume, compare the difference of the dress by the career of Geisha and look back the disappearing aesthetic sense of Geisha. First, since Geisha appeared for the first time in Kyoto in 1751, it has become the world-wide representative of Japanese woman's images so that its existence oneself has become the tradition. Second, Geisha created fashion of various clothes, adornments, and hair styles as a creator of the popularity. Third, the strict regulation without exception is applied in Geisha's clothing, make-up, and motion tuned Samisen, Japanese traditional strings, and there is some difference in their hair style and dress by age of Maiko. Fourth, it is famous for unique make-up that Geisha makes up their faces, necks, and shoulders white, newly paints eyes, nose, lip line like drawing a picture in a pure white paper. Geishas put a little make-up as they have a higher position. Fifth, a heroin, Chiyo, shows clothing as a maid, an apprentice Geisha-Maiko- and a formal Geisha according to time flow. The length of kimono, textures, and hair decorations are longer, more splendid, and are more various as time goes. On the other hand, her make-up is lighter.

Study on Sleeve Pattern of Tailored Jacket of Females in their Twenties (20대 여성의 테일러드 재킷 소매패턴에 관한 연구)

  • This study aims to develop sleeve pattern of tailored jacket which shows seamlessly beauty of females in their twenties who have relatively smaller change of body compared people of other ages and has outstanding functional operation. So we selected a pattern of manufacturer who received highest score after evaluating wearing condition of three types of jacket in the industry, whose targets are career women in their twenties and then tested its appearance and functional operation of 6 experimental jackets with armhole depth of B/4 and B/4-1(cm) along with sleeve cap height of A.H/3, A.H/3+1, A.H/3+2. As a result, the pattern which has good result of external appearance evaluation were sleeve with armhole depth of B/4-1 and sleeve cap height of A.H/3+2 as well as sleeve with armhole depth of B/4-1 and sleeve cap height of A.H/3+1. The pattern of good result for movement adaptation were sleeve with armhole depth of B/4-1 and sleeve cap height of A.H/3 as well as sleeve with armhole depth of B/4 and sleeve cap height of A.H/3. So we could find that the larger is the armhole depth and height of sleeve, the better influence on adaptability of jacket it makes and that the smaller is the armhole depth and height of sleeve, the better influence on movement adaptability of jacket it makes. It has been proved that armhole depth of tailored jacket of females in their twenties doesn't affect significantly on its appearance when designing it but it makes good influence on movement adaptability when experimental clothing has armhole depth of B/4-1and that sleeve cap height of A.H/3 that is 1cm shorter than A.H/3+1 which is used in industry makes good influence on appearance and functional operation.

Individual and Family Background Predictors of Nontraditional Career Orientation among U.S. College Women (전통적으로 남성 주도적인 전문직 진출을 희망하는 여대생의 성격 및 가족환경의 특성 연구 : -법률가 및 의사직을 준비하는 미국 여대생을 중심으로-)

  • 이 연구의 목적은 전통적으로 남성 주도적인 전문직 진출을 희망하는 여대생(이 연구에서는 법률가 및 의사직, 이하 비 전통적인 여성이라 부름)과 전통적으로 여성 주도적인 전문직 진출을 준비중인 여대생 (이 연구에서는 교사 및 간호사직, 이하 전통적으로 여성 이라 부름)을 구분 할수 있는 개인의 성격 및 가족환경의 특성을 검토하는 것이었다. 남성 주도적인 전문직에 진출을 준비하거나 그 분야에 종사하는 여성들의 특성에 대한 연구가 많이 발표되었으나 그 특징들의 중요성이 상대적으로 얼마나 비중이 있는지는 연구되어 있지 않다. 발단론적 환경이론(Developmental-Contextualism)과 직업 발달에 대한 역동적 상호관계 모델(Dynamic Interaction Model)이 본 연구의 이론적 체계를 이루고 있다. 이 연구에 포함성의 위치, 심리적 남성특성, 출신가정의 사회경제수준, 그리고 부모의 뒷받침과 이해였다. ANOVA 결과에 의하면 비전통적인 여성들이 자아존중감, 학교성적 성취도, 내적 통제성, 심리적 남성특성, 그리고 출신가정의 사회경제수준 면에서 전통적인 여성에 비해 훨씬 높은 수준을 나타내었다. 단계적 분별 분석 (Stepwise Discriminant Analysis) 결과에 따르면, 심리적 남성 특성, 내적 통제성, 학교성적 성취도, 그리고 출신가정의 사회경제수준이 위 두집단의 여성들을 분별하는 가장 뛰어난 특성들이었으며 전체 표본의 76.99%가 이 요인들에 의해 정확하게 분류되었다. 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 볼 때, 역동적 상호관계모델은 여성의 직업발달을 연구하는데 있어서 이론정립과 검사에 유효한 도구로 보이며, 이 연구에 포함한 변수들은 비 전통적인 여성들의 특성을 정확하게 묘사하는데 상당한 공헌을 하고 있었다. 마지막으로, 비전통적인 여성들의 직업발달을 연구하는데 있어서 "능력특성군(Competency-related traits)"의 변수들을 좀 더 정확하게 분류할 필요가 있으며, 이 변수들과 여성의 직업발달의 관계를 자세히 연구할 필요가 있다고 본다.요가 있다고 본다.
