고등학생의 진로체험 유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Career Experiential Learning and Parental Support on Career Maturity of High School Students)

  • 본 연구는 고등학생 진로성숙도를 함양하기 위하여 진로체험 유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙도 하위영역인 태도적 차원(진로계획성, 직업태도, 진로독립성)과 능력적 차원(자기이해, 진로탐색)에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 최근 1년 이내에 진로체험 프로그램에 참여한 경험이 있는 고등학교 1~3학년을 대상으로 온라인을 통해 자료를 수집하였으며, 최종 290명을 분석에 사용하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 진로성숙도의 태도적 차원인 진로계획성은 대화형, 견학 방문형 경험을 한 경우, 직업태도과 진로독립성 수준은 대화형, 견학 방문형, 현장체험형 경험을 한 경우 높게 나타났다. 능력적 차원인 자기이해와 진로탐색은 이론형, 대화형, 견학 방문형 경험이 있는 경우 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 진로관련 부모지지인 정서적, 정보적, 물질적 지지와 진로성숙도의 모든 하위영역은 유의미한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 셋째, 진로체험 유형이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 대화형과 견학 방문형은 태도적 차원(진로계획성, 직업태도, 진로독립성)과 능력적 차원(자기이해, 진로탐색) 모두 진로성숙에 유의한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났으며, 이론형은 능력적 차원에 영향을 끼치는 요인으로 나타났다. 다음으로 부모지지를 투입하여 체험유형과 부모지지가 진로성숙에 미치는 상대적 영향력을 살펴본 결과, 정서적 지지가 진로탐색을 제외한 모든 진로성숙의 하위영역에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 정보적 지지는 진로계획성, 진로독립성, 진로탐색에 물질적 지지는 직업태도, 자기이해, 진로탐색에 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 고등학생 진로성숙도의 하위 역량을 함양하기 위한 진로체험 프로그램의 핵심 구성과 실행에 의미 있는 정보적 역할을 하며, 부모지지와 연계한 실천적 측면을 강조하는 진로교육 운영지침에 유용한 자료로 제공될 것이다.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the effects of social support and, career decision-making self-efficacy on career maturity of adolescents of different gender and grades. Further, it aims to provide basic information for career maturity to create career educational program for adolescents. The participants of the study were 447 middle and high school students who were selected from second grade of five schools in Daegu. All participants were tested on social support, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity scale. The results were analyzed using two-way ANOVA, Pearson's Correlation Analysis, Regression Analysis with SPSS 18.0. The results of the present research are summarized as follows: first, the results of the ANOVA subscales revealed that there were significant gender and grade main effects and interaction effects of social support, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity. Second, the results of the correlation analysis among of the social support, career decision-making self-efficacy and career maturity showed a positive and negative correlation. Third, in terms of the influence of social support, career decision-making self-efficacy had a significant meaningful influence on career maturity. The results of this study can be used as a fundamental reference in career counseling at school for enhancing adolescent's career development and success.

청소년이 지각한 심리적 독립과 진로결정 자기효능감이 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Effects of Psychological Independence and Career Decision-Making Self-Efficacy on Career Maturity among Adolescents)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the influences of psychological independence(functional independence and emotional independence) and career decision-making self-efficacy(self-estimation, career goal, occupational-knowledge, and problem solving) on career maturity(preparation, objective, decisiveness, and certainty) among adolescents. The subjects were 447 students in the second grade of middle school and high school in D. The questionnaire consist of measures of psychological independence, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career maturity. The data were analysed with factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, ANOVA, correlation and multiple regression by using the SPSS(SPSS/WIN 19.0) program. The major results were as follows. First, adolescents' the career maturity was significantly different depending on the socio-demographic variables. Second, it was shown that middle and high school students have a statically relation, in a relation among psychological independence, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career maturity. Third, it was found that psychological independence and career decision-making self-efficacy gave statistically meaningful influence on the career maturity of adolescents. This study is significant in that it suggests a plan for improving career maturity, and provides a basic material to improve one's active role in their parents. In addition, the results of this study can be used as a fundamental reference in career development programs and career-counseling centers at schools for enhancing adolescents' career development and success.

중학생의 진로성숙도와 성취 목표, 학습 태도 및 학업성취도 실증적 고찰 : 교과연계 진로교육 경험을 중심으로 (An Empirical Study on Career Maturity, Achievement Goal, Learning Attitude and Academic Achievement of Middle School Students : Focused on Subjects-Related Career Education)

  • The purpose of this study is to verify career maturity, achievement goal, learning attitude and academic achievement relation with subjects-related career education of middle school students. To achieve these aims, this study used SELS(Seoul education longitudinal study) of Seoul Education Research & Information Institute. Also, analysis as well as descriptive statistics calculation on average, deviation, skewness and kurtosis of variable factor and calculated characteristic item and degree of reliability(Cronbach ${\alpha}$). For goodness of fit test, this study used TLI(Tucker-Lewis index) and RMSEA(Root mean square error of approximation). To achieve the ultimate objects, this study used LMA(latent mean analysis) for analysis of difference career maturity, achievement goal, learning attitude and academic achievement relation with subjects-related career education in middle school students. The results are as follows. First, experience relation with subjects-related career education were influenced on career maturity with career cognition. Second, experience relation with subjects-related career education were influenced on achievement goal, learning attitude, and larger than career maturity and academic achievement. Third, experience relation with subjects-related career education were influenced on middle school students more than inexperienced relation with subjects-related career education.

공학전공 대학생의 전공만족도, 진로결정 효능감 및 진로태도성숙이 진로결정수준에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Major Satisfaction, Career Decision Efficacy and Career Attitude Maturity of Engineering College Students to the Career Decision Level.)

  • 본 연구에서는 공학전공 대학생의 진로결정수준에 미치는 진로 관련 변인, 즉 전공만족도, 진로결정 효능감 그리고 진로태도성숙의 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 달성하기 위하여 부산지역 대학교 공학계열 남녀학생 총 435명이 본 연구에 참여하였다. 이들을 대상으로 전공만족도, 진로결정 효능감, 진로태도성숙 및 진로결정수준 검사를 실시하였다. 상관분석 및 중다회귀분석의 결과를 통해 다음과 같은 결론이 도출되었다. 첫째, 공학전공 대학생의 전공만족도, 진로결정효능감, 진로태도성숙 및 진로결정수준간에는 유의한 관계가 있다. 둘째, 공학전공 대학생의 전공만족도, 진로결정 효능감 및 진로태도성숙 중에서 진로결정수준에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 변인은 진로태도 성숙으로 나타나, 진로결정수준을 높이기 위해서는 공학전공 대학생의 진로태도 성숙을 높일 수 있는 방안을 강구할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 진로결정 효능감 역시 진로결정수준에 영향을 주는 변인으로 나타났기 때문에 진로태도성숙과 함께 진로결정 효능감을 높일 수 있는 대학생 대상의 진로 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

대학생의 학과만족도, 진로성숙도의 차이와 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Difference among College Students' Department Satisfaction and Career Maturity and the Influence on Career Stress)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 학과만족도와 진로성숙도, 진로스트레스에 대한 차이를 분석하고 학과만족도와 진로성숙도가 진로스트레스에 미치는 영향에 대해 알아보고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해 대학생 824명을 대상으로 학과만족도, 진로성숙도, 진로스트레스 척도를 사용하여 조사를 실시하였다. 그 결과 첫째, 학과만족도, 진로성숙도, 진로스트레스는 학년, 연령, 학교성적, 입학동기, 교우관계, 건강상태에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 둘째, 학과 만족도 하위요인 교과만족도, 관계만족도, 일반만족도, 인식만족도는 연령, 성별, 학교성적, 입학동기, 교우관계, 건강상태에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 셋째, 진로성숙도 하위요인 결정성, 참여도, 독립성, 성향, 타협성은 학년, 연령에 따라 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다. 넷째, 진로성숙도와 학과만족도는 진로스트레스에 상당한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 학과만족도와 진로성숙도가 낮을수록 진로스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 학과만족도와 진로성숙도가 진로스트레스와 상관관계임을 의미한다. 이를 바탕으로 학과만족과 진로성숙이 낮은 상태로 유지하는 대학생을 위한 적극적인 지도와 교육이 필요함을 보여준다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate relationships between major satisfaction and career decision efficacy and career attitude maturity of engineering college students by performing canonical correlation analysis. A total of 492 engineering students(male=380, female=112) completed 3 tests. The results of canonical correlation analysis showed a) major satisfaction were significantly associated with career decision efficacy, b) major satisfaction were significantly associated with career attitude maturity, and c) career decision efficacy were significantly associated with career attitude maturity.

아동이 지각하는 어머니의 양육태도가 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 : 진로성숙도의 매개효과 (The Influence of Mother's Child-rearing Attitudes on Children's School Adjustment : The Mediating Effects of Child's Career Maturity)

  • This study aimed to identify the mediating effects of the child's career maturity on the relationship between mother's child-rearing attitudes and children's school adjustment. In order to achieve our goals, the present study 1) analysed the differences in the mother's child-rearing attitude perceived by child, child's career maturity, and school adjustment according to child's sex, and 2) examined the direct and indirect effects of mother's child-rearing attitude and child's career maturity on school adjustment. A total of 430 $6^{th}$ grade elementary school students living in Gwangju participated in this study. The summary of this study is as follows. First, there were some differences in achievement child-rearing attitude according to child's sex. Boys perceived their mother's child-rearing attitude as more achievement-oriented than girls. Second, child's career maturity mediated the relations between mother's child-rearing attitude perceived by child and their school adjustment. Specifically, the partial mediating effects of career maturity were found in all of the relations between sub-factors of child-rearing attitude(affection, autonomy, achievement, and rationality), and child's career maturity fully mediated the relation between autonomy and peer relationship. The results of this study mean that mother's child-rearing attitudes have both direct and indirect impacts on child's school adjustment and child's career maturity are all very important factors on their school adjustment. The present study suggests that it is necessary to provide diverse career programs to improve child's career maturity.

대학생이 지각한 부모통제가 진로성숙도에 미치는 영향: 자기결정성과 자기효능감의 다중매개효과를 중심으로 (The Effects of Parental Control Perceived by College Students on Career Maturity: Focusing on Multiple Mediating Effects of Self-Determination and Self-Efficacy)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine that multiple mediating effects of self-determination and self-efficacy in the relationship between the parental control and career maturity. In the study, 747 university students in Daegu, Busan and Seoul area were surveyed on their perceived level of parental control, career maturity, self-determination and self-efficacy. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson correlation analysis with SPSS 25.0 program, Hayes'Process Macro program and bootstrapping. The major results of this study were as follows; First, there were significant differences in college student's career maturity by grade, major, experience in career-related services and part-time job experience period. Second, there were significant correlations between parental control(behavioral control and psychological control), career maturity, self-determination and self-efficacy. Third, self-determination and Self-efficacy had multiple mediating effects in the relationship between parental control and career maturity. In conclusion, this study found multiple mediating effects of self-determination and self-efficacy in the relationship between parental control(behavioral control and psychological control) and career maturity. It was also found that parental behavioral control had a positive effect on career maturity by increasing self-determination and self-efficacy while parental psychological control had a negative effect on career maturity by decreasing self-determination and self-efficacy.

Effects of Parental Support, Bicultural Acceptance, and Self-Esteem on Career Attitude Maturity of Multicultural Adolescents

  • At a time when children of multicultural families have begun to enter adolescence in Korea, this study examined the effects of parental support and bicultural acceptance on the career attitude maturity of multicultural adolescents. This study tried to derive the implications related to the career path of multicultural adolescents by verifying the effects of self-esteem on the relationship between parental support, bicultural acceptance, and career attitude maturity. Using the 8th Multicultural Adolescent Panel Survey data (MAPS), the relative influence of antecedent variables on career attitude maturity was confirmed by hierarchical regression analysis of the data from 1,197 respondents. Model 1 included gender and parental support, Model 2 added bicultural acceptance to Model 1, and Model 3 added self-esteem to Model 2. As a result of the study, in Model 1, women had higher career attitude maturity than men, and the more supportive their parents were, the more positive the level of career attitude maturity. The adjusted R2 of Model 1 was .058, which did not have much influence. In Model 2, gender, parental support, and bicultural acceptance had statistically significant effects on career attitude maturity, and the amount of change in F was also significant. The adjusted R2 of Model 2 was .132. In Model 3, parental support was not statistically significant, and gender, bicultural acceptance, and self-esteem had statistically significant effects on career attitude maturity. The amount of change in F was statistically significant and the adjusted R2 was .185. That is, it was confirmed that the more the women, the more the bicultural acceptance, and the higher the self-esteem, the more prepared and determined the career path. Based on the research results, the implications related to career preparation of multicultural adolescents were presented.
