An average of 20 million individual transit unit activities per day on the Seoul-Gyeonggi-Incheon public transportation network are provided as transportation card analysis data by the metropolitan district (99.02% by 2014 standard, Humanlive, 2015.4). The metropolitan transportation card data can be employed in a comprehensive analysis of public transportation users' current transit patterns and by means of this, an effective use plan can be explored. In enhancing the existing information on the bus and rail integrated network of the metropolis with public transportation card data, the constraints in the existing methodology of metropolitan transit analysis, which functions on a zone unit origin and destination basis, can be overcome. Framework for metropolitan public transportation card data based integrated public transportation analysis, which consists of bus and rail integrated transport modes, is constructed, and through this, a single passenger's transit behavior transit volume can be approximated. This research proposes that in the use of metropolitan public transportation card data, integrated public transportation usage, as a part of individual passenger spatial movements, can be analyzed. Furthermore, metropolitan public transportation card usage data can provide insights into understanding not only movements of populations taking on transit activities, but also, characteristics of metropolitan local space.
Users of metropolitan railroad is increased continuously because of its various advantage such as comfortableness, convenience and punctuality. Thus, several local government including Seoul considered new installation or extension of railroads and four railroad operators maintain seventeen lines at present. After public transportation reforms in 2004 and integrated discount fare system in 2007, public transportation become more convenient in many aspects. However, these trials gives much more complex allocating problems of revenues among public transportation operators. In this paper, we deal with revenue allocating problems among public transportation operators after integrated discount fare system in 2007. Specifically, this study focuses on allocating revenues to metropolitan railroad operators by using RF card data. This research roughly proposes the methodology of O/D extraction from RF card data, generalized cost estimation and allocating revenue algorithm. We use RF card data in order to draw out exact individual O/D data and try to compare our results with those of Korea Smart Card Company. In generalized cost estimation, survey study about transfer factors is conducted for accurate estimation of generalized cost function. Lastly, new allocating revenue algorithm using k-path and non-dominated path concept is suggested. It is expected that case study is also performed with real revenues and O/D data in order to check up the application. Preposed methodology in this research can contribute to solve present and future revenue allocating issues according to the introduction of LRT and private railroad.
Recently, smart card system which is known as easy to portable and also safe from physical, electrical, and software attack is observed to manage information that becomes the target of security in safety. And java card graft upon java technology to smart card platform is having very good advantage with object-oriented techniques and also, java card have the open type OS that can show the same action in different hardware characteristic which allows various application programs. In this paper, we introduced independent execution characteristic of java platform because being set to each smart card was uncomfortable till now and we designed access control member card that allows several administrators in different access privilege by single card using java card. Several administrators can approach to various information of file type that is included on issued card to user by using different PIN. In the proposed method, confirmation of personal information, administration contents update, demand by contents, is possible by single card. At this moment, wish to do safer user certification that improve security limitation which is from PIN, used for user certification, and signature data. In the proposed method, as design and implementation of utilization technology of java card, biometrics, user certification which uses multi PIN, provide that more safety and conveniently.
The purpose of this study was to firstly, analyze how childcare center directors and parents experienced the 'I-Sarang Card Business' and secondly, to evaluate the effects of the business, and thus to suggest the ways to improve business strategies. The subjects consisted of 104 childcare center directors and 304 parents using the 'i-sarang card' in Gyeonggi province. The surveys were administered to the subjects, and the data were analyzed by means of the SPSS 12.0 program. The major results of this study were as follows : After the introduction of the 'I-Sarang Card Business', parents found the payment of childcare fee to be more convenient than previously and evaluated the effects of 'I-Sarang Card Business' to be more positive than the childcare center directors. On the other hand, childcare center directors had difficulties in taking care of 'I-Sarang Card Business' related administration and their evaluations were therefore more negative. Based on these results, several ways to improve the business were suggested.
Recently, there has been a growing interest in using smart card data. However, there are restrictions on the utilization of data in many areas outside the Seoul metropolitan area because the data does not contain alighting information. This paper presents a methodology for estimating alighting stops of smart card data. Estimation results were verified by smart card data from Seoul and Gwangju. The estimation rates were 78.2% and 81.6% in Seoul and Gwangju, respectively. The matching accuracy was 54.2% and 33.4%, respectively. However, if up to two stops of error are allowed, the accuracy values were 93.6% and 94.0%, respectively. We also discussed changes in estimation results due to adjusting the allowable walking distance, which is a key parameter of trip chaining methods. As the allowable walking distance increases, the estimation rate increases, while the accuracy decreases, and it is found that the estimation results change by around 500m.

The number of elderly people worldwide is rapidly increasing and the mobility handicapped suffering from inconvenient public transportation service is also increasing. In Korea and abroad, various policies are being implemented to provide high-quality transportation services for the mobility handicapped, and budget support and investment related to mobility facilities are being expanded. The mobility handicapped spends more time for transit transfer than normal users and their satisfaction with transit service is also lower. There exist transfer inconvenience points of the mobility handicapped due to various factors such as long transfer distances, absence of transportation facilities like elevators, escalators, etc. The purpose of this study is to find transfer inconvenience points for convenient transit transfer of the mobility handicapped using Smart card Big data. This study process traffic card transaction data and construct transfer travel data by user groups using smart card big data and analysis of the transfer characteristics for each user group ; normal, children, elderly, etc. Finally, find transfer inconveniences points by comparing transfer patterns between normal users and the mobility handicapped. This study is significant in that it can find transfer inconvenience points for convenient transit transfer of the mobility handicapped using Smart card Big data. In addition, it can be applicated of Smart card Big data for developing public transportation polices in the future. It is expected that the result of this study be used to improve the accessibility of transit transportation for mobility handicapped.

In this paper, we designed a low cost data logger system using single chip microcontroller. It detects the normal and abnormal current in distribution system. A sampled analog signals are stored on RAM card(4Mbit) after digitalized by internal A/D converter. Stored data can be transmitted to the personal computer either by internal serial communication port or by external parallel communication port. The transmitted data are analyzed and displayed on personal computer.
Background: A behavior-based safety initiative card-issuing system was introduced at a cement-manufacturing company in Zimbabwe in 2008 to try and curb accident occurrence. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of the Behaviour Based Safety Initiative card system as a tool used for reducing accident frequencies. Methods: A mixed-method approach that involving administering piloted questionnaires to 40 out of 244 randomly selected employees, making observations, and reviewing secondary data were done to collect data from different sources in the organization in 2013. A paired t-test was conducted to test whether there was significant difference in accident occurrence before and after the implementation of the BBSI. Scatterplots were also used to establish the correlation between the issuance of cards and the accident and injury occurrence. Results: The findings suggest that the introduction of the card system brought a significant decrease in accident and injury occurrence. A negative correlation between card issuance and accident occurrence was observed, i.e., the greater the number of cards issued, the fewer the number of accidents. It was also noted that the card system positively influenced the mindset of workers towards safe work practices. Conclusion: The card system had an influence on the reduction of accidents and injuries. The organization should leverage on issuing more cards to further reduce the number of accidents and injuries to zero.

Public transportation card data, which is collected for purposes of the Integrated Public Transportation Fare System, provides neither transfer time nor transfer frequency occurring on the metropolitan city-rail (MCR). And because there are no transfer toll gates installed on the MCR, data on transfers between lines are estimated through means such as elicitations using survey questionnaire, or otherwise through macroscopic observations, which poses the risk of transfer time and frequencies being underestimated. For the accurate estimation thereof, an explanation of the transit path that arises between the Entry-and Exit-Gates must be provided. The purpose of this research is twofold : 1) to build a transit path model to reflect the current state of transfer movements on the basis of transportation card reader data, and 2) to deduce information on transfers occurring in the greater metropolis. To achieve these aims, the idea of Big Nodes is introduced in the model to align transportation card reader operation system characteristics with those of the MCR network. The link-label method is applied in the model as well to make certain that the MCR network runs in an effective manner. Administrative information obtained by the transportation card reader is used to derive transfer time and frequency both in the city's mid-zones, and in the Seoul-Gyeonggi-Incheon district's large-zones. Public transportation card data from a single specific day in year 2014 is employed in the building of the quantified transfer specific data. Extended usage thereof as providing comprehensive data of transfer resistance on the MCR is also examined.
In the research, we develope and use the digital score card to prevent disqualifying with error as inputting wrong score card and to protect the player in this paper. Also, it will lead the world wide market as IT and golf strong country. Therefore, we checked the mutual relationship through the analysis and verification with research of contents and collection of questionnaire regarding the research. In the result of analysis, S/W need output function and data management to play golf and H/W need the simple design and durability for user easy access and multi function excluding score card. Therefore, the development of digital golf score card will contribute athletic performance through removing the inconvenience of current score card. And we confirmed that developed digital golf card model and system is very important to open world market.
