콘크리트 품질관리를 위한 단위수량 측정 기법의 적용성에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Application of Measuring Method of Water Content for Quality Control of Concrete)

  • 최근 건설 생산 현장에서 불량 레미콘의 반입 문제 및 콘크리트 구조물의 내구성 확보가 커다란 관심사로 대두되고 있으며, 이에 따라 일본 등의 선진 외국에서는 레미콘의 품질보증 및 관리를 위하여 다양한 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 단위수량 측정 기법이 개발되어 규준화를 도모하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 국내 외에서 연구 개발되어 적용을 도모하고 있는 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 단위수량 측정 기법 중 실제 건설 생산 현장에서의 레미콘 입수검사시 적용이 가능할 것으로 판단되는 전자레인지법, 에어메터법 및 정전용량법을 선정한 후 I, II 시리즈에서는 결합재 종류, 잔골재 종류 및 함수율, 단위수량, 물결합재비에 따른 단위수량 추정 성능을 평가하였으며, III 시리즈에서는 사용 재료의 물성 변화가 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 단위수량 추정 오차 발생에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구에서는 건설 생산 현장에서 레미콘의 품질관리에 굳지 않은 콘크리트의 단위수량 측정 기법을 실용화하기 위한 기초 자료를 제시하고자 하였다.

High Performance Current-Mode DC-DC Boost Converter in BiCMOS Integrated Circuits

  • A simulation study of a current-mode direct current (DC)-DC boost converter is presented in this paper. This converter, with a fully-integrated power module, is implemented by using bipolar complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (BiCMOS) technology. The current-sensing circuit has an op-amp to achieve high accuracy. With the sense metal-oxide semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) in the current sensor, the sensed inductor current with the internal ramp signal can be used for feedback control. In addition, BiCMOS technology is applied to the converter, for accurate current sensing and low power consumption. The DC-DC converter is designed with a standard 0.35 ${\mu}m$ BiCMOS process. The off-chip inductor-capacitor (LC) filter is operated with an inductance of 1 mH and a capacitance of 12.5 nF. Simulation results show the high performance of the current-sensing circuit and the validity of the BiCMOS converter. The output voltage is found to be 4.1 V with a ripple ratio of 1.5% at the duty ratio of 0.3. The sensing current is measured to be within 1 mA and follows to fit the order of the aspect ratio, between sensing and power FET.

질소가 도핑된 그라핀을 이용한 고용량의 조절이 가능한 플렉서블 울트라커페시터 (Flexible, Tunable, and High Capacity Ultracapacitor using Nitron-Doped Graphene)

  • We developed a simple method to synthesis a nitrogen doped graphene, nitrogen plasma treated graphene (NPG) sheets thought nitrogen plasma etching of graphene oxide (GO). X-ray photo electron spectroscopy (XPS) study of NPG sheets treated at various plasma conditions reveal that N-doping is classified to 3 kinds of binding configurations. The nitrogen doping concentration is at least 1.5 at % and up to 3 at% with changing of ratio of nitrogen configuration in NPG. Our group demonstrate ultracapacitor with high capacity and extremely durable using a NPG sheets that are comparable to pristine graphene supercapacitor, and pseudocapacitor using polymer and metal oxide with redox reaction, capacitance that are three-times higher, and a cycle life that are extremely stable. We also realized flexible capacitor by using the paper electrode that are coated by NPG sheets. NPG paper capacitor presented almost same performance compare with NPG on a metal substrate, and durability is much more enhanced than that. To additionally explain that how different kind of atoms in graphene layers can act as the ion absorption sites, we simulated the binding energy between nitrogen in graphene layer and ions in electrolyte. Increasing the energy density and long cycle life of ultracapacitor will enable them to compete with batteries and conventional capacitors in number of applications.

Electrical charateristics of MIS BST thin films

  • The variation of electrical properties of (Ba,Sr)$TiO_3$ [BST] thin films for Metal-Insulator-Semiconductor (MIS) capacitors was investigated. BST thin films were deposited on p-Si(100) substrates by the RF magnetron sputtering with temperature range of 500~$600^{\circ}C$. The dielectric properties of MIS capacitors consisting of AUBST/$SiO_2$/Si sandwich structure were measured for various conditions. We examined the characteristics of MIS capacitor with various oxygen pressure, substrate temperature and (Ba+Sr)/Ti ratio. It was found that the leakage current was reduced in MIS capacitor with high quality $SiO_2$ layer was grown on bare p-Si substrate by thermal oxidation. The BST MIS structure showed relatively high capacitance even though it is the combination of high-dielectric BST thin films and $SiO_2$ layer. The charge state densities of the MIS capacitors and Current-voltage characteristics of the MIS capacitor were investigated. By applying $SiO_2$ layer between BST thin films and Si substrate, low leakage current of $10^{-10}$ order was observed.

Passivation Properties of Hydrogenated Silicon Nitrides deposited by PECVD

  • Silicon nitride (SiNx:H) films are generally used as passivation layer on solar cell and they are usually made by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). In this study, we investigated the properties of silicon nitride (SiNx:H) films made by PECVD. Effects of mixture ratio of process gases with silane (SiH4) and ammonia (NH3) on the passivation qualities of silicon nitride film are evaluated. Passivation properties of SiNx:H are focused by making antireflection properties identical with thickness and refractive index controlled. The absorption coefficient of each film was evaluated by spectrometric ellipsometery and the minority carrier lifetimes were evaluated by quasi-steady-state photo-conductance (QSSPC) measurement. The optical properties were obtained by UV-visible spectrophotometer. The interface properties were measured by capacitance-voltage (C-V) measurement and the film components were identified by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR) and Rutherford backscattering spectroscopy detection (RBS) - elastic recoil detection (ERD).

  • A novel transflective-type LC mode with good display performance has been developed In order to drive both transmissive and reflective modes simultaneously without any modulation of gamma in a single-gap structure, we have introduced a new design concept in the reflective region, where the capacitance is separated into liquid crystal($C_{LC}$} and organic layer($C_{OL}$), playing a key role as a voltage divider in our cap-divided VA-mode. With this cap-divided method having both merits of simplifying process and good legibility, we have achieved good optical characteristics such as high contrast ratio and wide viewing angle in a single-gap homeotropic panel design.

$SrTiO_{3}$ 세라믹 박막의 Ca 치환량에 따른 특성 (Properties wRh Ca Substitutional Contents of $SrTiO_{3}$ Ceramic Thin Film)

  • The ($Sr_{1-x}Ca_x)TiO_3(SCT)$ thin films are deposited on Pt-coated electrode (Pt/TiN/SiO$_{2}$Si) using RF sputtering method with substitutional contents of Ca. The optimum conditions of RF power and Ar/O$_{2}$ ratio were 140(W) and 80/20, respectively. Deposition rate of SCT thin film was about $18.75{\AA}$/min. The dielectric constant was increased with increasing the substitutional contents of Ca, while it was decreased if the substitutional contents of Ca exceeded over $15[mol\%]$. The capacitance characteristics had a stable value within $\pm4[\%]$ in temperature ranges of $-80\~+90[^{\circ}C]$. All SCT thin films used in this study show the phenomena of dielectric relaxation with the increase of frequency, and the relaxation frequency is observed above 200[kHz].

전력용 변압기 보호용 시제품 IED 설계와 개선된 기법의 시험 (Testing of Advanced Relaying and Design of Prototype IED for Power Transformer Protection)

  • A popular method used by primary protection for power transformer is current ratio differential relaying (RDR) with 2nd harmonic restraints. In modern power transformer due to the use of low-loss amorphous material, the 2nd harmonic component during inrush is significantly reduced. The higher the capacitance of the high voltage status and underground distribution, the more the differential current includes the 2nd harmonic component during internal fault. Thus the conventional method may not operate properly. This paper proposes an advanced relaying algorithm and the prototype IED hardware design and it's real-time experimental results. To evaluate performance of the proposed algorithm, the study is well constructed power system model including power transformer utilizing the EMTP software and the testing is made through simulation of various cases. The proposed relaying that is well constructed using DSP chip and microprocessor etc. has been developed and the prototype IED has been verified through on-line testing. The results show that an advanced relaying based prototype IED never mis-operated and correctly identified all the faults and that inrushes that are applied.

Inductive Micro Displacement Detecting System with High Sensitivity and Low Linearity Error

  • A newly designed inductive micro displacement detecting system is presented. The proposed inductive system consists of driving coils, position-detecting coils, cores, and closed-loop formed magnetic blocks. The cores and magnetic blocks are made of Mn-Zn ferrite. When AC sine wave is applied to the driving coils, the time derivative flux is generated within the system, and then induced voltages arise in the position-detecting coils according to the core\`s position. Putting the cores to be moved proportionally to the input displacement, the induced voltage is proportional to input displacement. The parameters that affect the system characteristics are turn ratio, air-gap size, excitation frequency, overlap area, load resistance, capacitance effect, and so forth. Based on the experimental results, the system parameters are selected in such a way as to have high sensitivity ad stable responses. The sensitivity of the proposed inductive displacement-detecting system is greater than 2800mV.V-1mm-1 and the linearity error is below $\pm$0.10% in the range of $\pm$200㎛.

  • When the lightning currents flow through the ground electrode, the grounding system should be evaluated by the grounding impedance rather than the ground resistance because a grounding system shows the transient impedance characteristic by the inductance of the ground electrode and the capacitance of the soil. The ratio of the peak values of electric potential and currents is the conventional impedance that shows the transient characteristic about impulse currents of the grounding system in a roundabout way. The grounding system having low conventional impedance is a fine grounding system with low electric potential when the lightning currents flow. In this paper the conventional impedance of the counterpoise is calculated by using the distributed parameter circuit model and embodied the distributed parameter circuit model by using the EMTP program The adequacy of the distributed parameter model is examined by comparing the simulated and the measured results. The conventional impedance of the counterpoise is analyzed for first short stroke and subsequent short stroke currents.
