  • Although the importance of the construction lift is increasing, no improvements are being made to its operating system. This study proposed an optimal call-response algorithm of the construction lift for high-rise building construction by using image sensing technology, height measuring sensor, and load cell. This algorithm makes turn-around decision of the construction lift by considering the information and the number of user. It occurs when the call comes from a floor where the construction lift already have passed. The purpose of this study is to reduce the total latency of the construction lift user. Furthermore, it is possible to prevent delay in construction duration by carrying out a priority operation of the construction lift for the critical workforce.

음성인식을 이용한 고객센터 자동 호 분류 시스템 (Automated Call Routing Call Center System Based on Speech Recognition)

  • This paper describes the automated call routing for call center system based on speech recognition. We focus on the task of automatically routing telephone calls based on a users fluently spoken response instead of touch tone menus in an interactive voice response system. Vector based call routing algorithm is investigated and normalization method suggested. Call center database which was collected by KT is used for call routing experiment. Experimental results evaluating call-classification from transcribed speech are reported for that database. In case of small training data, an average call routing error reduction rate of 9% is observed when normalization method is used.

  • This paper describes the automated call routing for train ticket reservation aid system based on speech recognition. We focus on the task of automatically routing telephone calls based on user's fluently spoken response instead of touch tone menus in an interactive voice response system. Vector-based call routing algorithm is investigated and mapping table for key term is suggested. Korail database collected by KT is used for call routing experiment. We evaluate call-classification experiments for transcribed text from Korail database. In case of small training data, an average call routing error reduction rate of 14% is observed when mapping table is used.

  • 현재 Collective Control 알고리즘은 가장 대중화되어있는 엘리베이터 알고리즘이다. Collective Control 알고리즘은 엘리베이터의 움직임 방향과 사용자의 도착지 방향이 같을 때 사용자가 엘리베이터를 이용할 수 있다. 하지만, 해당 알고리즘은 사용자의 엘리베이터의 대기시간과 여러 대의 엘리베이터를 사용할 경우, 주로 한 엘리베이터만 사용자들의 호출에 반응하는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자 본 논문에서는 HRN (Highest Response Ratio Next) 알고리즘에서 착안한 새로운 Hybrid HRN 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 일반적으로 HRN 알고리즘은 사용자의 탑승 시간과 하차 시간이 필요하지만 엘리베이터 특성상 사용자의 호출이 언제 발생할지 예측이 어렵다. 따라서 이러한 한계를 극복하고자 본 논문에서는 사용자의 호출 위치와 도착 위치의 거리를 고려하는 Hybrid HRN 알고리즘을 제안한다. 본 논문에서는 실험을 통하여 제안한 Hybrid HRN 알고리즘이, 임의의 100명에 대한 사용자의 평균대기 시간은 23.34초, 표준 편차는 11.86, 엘리베이터의 총 움직인 거리는 535.2m, 총 운행 시간 84sec, 두 엘리베이터 사이의 운행 Balance는 92m의 성능을 나타냄으로써, 사용자 탑승대기 시간을 고려했을 때 기존에 제시된 Collective Control, Zoning, 3-Passage 알고리즘보다 보다 우수함을 보여준다.

  • It is discussed how to determine the home location of idle vehicles in an AGVS with a loop guide path in a way of maximizing the request-call response probabilities for all demand. Optimal home position is selected by solving the simultaneous equations easily. Static positioning strategy is analyzed in which a single home position is allocated to which every vehicle is routed whenever it becomes idle. The cases of unidirectional guidepath is considered only. We provide a numerical example to illustrate the search algorithm developed for the case and compare the searched optimal solutions with the others.

  • In this paper we studied the control of overload which could bring the degradation of performance and threaten the stability of the electronic switching system. In order to get the essential requirement for overload control algorithm, we tried to extract the characteristics of commonly used algorithms by means of simulating overload control alogrithms in numerical stored program control switching model. As the result, we could find that the overload control algorithm which monitored the CPU occupancy had the best call complete rate and good response characteristecs and the algorithm using the offered load as a system state variable had a good grade of service which was represented by a short dial tone delay and 3rd quartile of deal tone delay. however, these control algorithms have no generality and need to get the control parameters by the trial-and-error method. We suggested the guidelines on the design of the overload control algorithm.

  • 웹 클러스터 시스템에서 사용자들의 접속 요구를 효율적으로 real 서버에 분산시키기 위하여 기존의 부하분산 알고리즘들과 현재 많이 사용중인 WLC(Weighted Least Connection) 알고리즘에 대하여 연구하였다. 이 부하분산 알고리즘들은 서버들의 부정확한 부하상태 파악과 파악 시점에 문제가 있어 서버들 간에 부하 불균형이 발생함으로써 효율성이 저하된다. 본 연구에서는 사용자의 접속 요청 시 broadcasting RPC(Remote Procedure Call)를 이용하여 서버들의 다양한 부하상태를 실시간으로 파악하여 부하를 분산하는 알고리즘을 제안하고, prototype을 구현하여 성능을 실험하였다. 실험 결과, real 서버 간 부하 불균형 현상이 기존 방법에 비하여 크게 향상되었고, 응답시간이 단축되는 효과로 웹 클러스터 시스템의 성능이 향상되었다.

A Robust Estimator in Multivariate Regression Using Least Quartile Difference

  • We propose an equivariant and robust estimator in multivariate regression model based on the least quartile difference (LQD) estimator in univariate regression. We call this estimator as the multivariate least quartile difference (MLQD) estimator. The MLQD estimator considers correlations among response variables and it can be shown that the proposed estimator has the appropriate equivariance properties defined in multivariate regressions. The MLQD estimator has high breakdown point as does the univariate LQD estimator. We develop an algorithm for MLQD estimate. Simulations are performed to compare the efficiencies of MLQD estimate with coordinatewise LQD estimate and the multivariate least trimmed squares estimate.
