진동신호 무선 수집에 대한 연구 (Study on Wireless Acquisition of Vibration Signals)

  • A Wi-Fi signal network (WSN) system is introduced in this paper. This system consists of several data-transmitting sensor modules and a data-receiving server. Each sensor module and the server contain a unique intranet IP address. A piezoelectric accelerometer with a bandwidth of 12 kHz, a 24-bit analog-digital converter with a sampling rate of 15.625 kS/s, a 32-bit microprocessor unit, and a 1-Mbps Wi-Fi module are used in the data-transmitting sensor module. A 300-Mbps router and a PC are used in the server. The system is verified using an accelerometer calibrator. The voltage output from the sensor is converted into 24-bit digital data and transmitted via the Wi-Fi module. These data are received by a Wi-Fi router connected to a PC. The input frequencies of the accelerometer calibrator (320 Hz, 640 Hz, and 1280 Hz) are used in the data transfer verification. The received data are compared to the data retrieved directly from the analog-to-digital converter used in the sensor module. The comparison shows that the developed system represents the original data considerably well. Theoretically, the system can acquire vibration signals from 600 sensor modules at an accelerometer bandwidth of 15.625 kHz. However, delay exists owing to software processes, multiplexing between sensor modules, and the use of non-real time operating system. Hence, it is recommended that this system may be used to acquire vibration signals with up to 10 kHz, which is approximately 70% of the theoretical maximum speed of the system.   • For evaluation of partial discharge performances of electrical power appratus such as Insulator, circuit breaker and transformer and so on, Partial discharge measuring system(ERA) consisted of PD detector including amplifier, coupling capacitor, PD calibrator and voltage divider are used PD measuring system is very important factor which affect the test result and show reliability of test result in test laboratory, In this paper, we describe tracebility and uncertainty of PD measuring system in test laboratory based on IEC 60270.

  • IEC 60270 에서는 부분방전 시험회로와 측정 시스템에 관하여 기술하고 있을 뿐 아니라 측정 시스템의 교정 및 교정기(Calibrator) 와 측정 시스템의 유지 관리 방법에 대해서 규정하고 있다. 유지관리 방법으로는 type tests, routine tests, performance tests, performance checks 가 있으며, 본 논문에서는 사용자가 주기적으로 시행하는 performance tests, performance check 에 관하여 기술한다.

  • This paper describes the standard system for calibrating pulse generator of partial discharge(PD) and its uncertainty. The system is consisted of digital pulse generator, digital recorder and evaluation software. The uncertainty requirement of calibrator charge is less than $\pm$ (0.1pC + 0.03q) and that of pulse duration is less than $\pm$ 10 %. The system can generate various kind of calibration pulses such as single pulse, double pulses, oscillation pulse, long-duration pulse, random pulses and evaluate their uncertainty.

파이프 프루버의 측정불확도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Measurement Uncertainty of Pipe Prover)

  • A pipe prover is a flowmeter calibrator used in flow measurement field. Gravimetric and volumetric methods were applied to determine the basic volume of the pipe prover. Uncertainty of its basic volume measurement was evaluated in accordance with the procedure recommended by International Organization for Standardization. The combined standard uncertainty of determining the basic volume was estimated from the sensitivity coefficient and the standard uncertainty of independent variables. It was found that the uncertainties of the weighing and volume measurements have dominant influence on that of the basic volume determination. With the quantitative analysis of the sensitivity coefficient, the contribution of the each variable uncertainty to the combined standard uncertainty of the basic volume is shown clearly.

  • This paper describes the calibration method and the evaluation method of relative expanded uncertainty for a multi-axis force/moment sensor. This sensor should be calibrated to be use in the industry. Now, the confidence of the calibration result is expressed with interference error. But it is no inaccurate, because an interference error, besides, a reproducibility error of the sensor, a error of this six-axis force/moment sensor calibrator, and so on. Thus, in order to accurately evaluate the relative expanded uncertainty of it, the concept of the uncertainty should be induced, and these errors must be contained in the relative expanded uncertainty. In this paper, the calibration method is exhibited and the evaluation method of the relative expanded uncertainty is also exhibited. And, a six-axis force/moment sensor was calibrated and the relative expanded uncertainty was evaluated.

  • We report the number of calibration and test for acoustic field which were conducted in KRISS between the year of 1990 and 1999. The items contain sound level meter and calibrator for calibration and sound absorption coefficient, transmission loss, sound pressure level of siren, sound pressure level and power of acoustic instrument and relative accessories for test. The data show that the number of them have been increased continuously.

국가교정검사기관(액체유량)의 측정불확도 평가 및 비교연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Measurement Uncertainty for the National Calibration and Test Organizations (Liquid Flow))

  • A proficiency test is one of programs which Korea Research Institute of Standards and Science(KRISS), as national metrology institute, is putting in operation for the mutual recognition arrangement. The Fluid Flow Group of KRISS evaluated the measurement capability for liquid flowmeter calibrator of the national calibration and test organizations. The uncertainty of national standard system was estimated in accordance with Guide to The Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement (ISO), and the turbine flowmeter, which was used for the round-robin test as a reference flowmeter, was characterized. The round-robin tests with the turbine flowmeter package were carried out in 1995 and 1999. The test results of the organizations and those of KRISS agreed within $\pm0.2$%. It is found thus that the organizations have the traceability of the national standard for liquid flow measurement.

  • Calibration of the spring constants of atomic force microscopy (AFM) cantilevers is one of the issues in biomechanics and nanomechanies for quantified force metrology at pieo- or nano Newton level. In this paper, we present an AFM cantilever calibration system: the Nano Force Calibrator (NFC), which consists of a precision balance and a one-dimensional stage. Three types of AFM cantilevers (contact and tapping mode) with different shapes (beam and V) and spring constants (42, 1, 0.06 N $m^{-1}$) are investigated using the NFC. The calibration results show that the NFC can calibrate the micro cantilevers ranging from 0.01 ${\sim}$ 100 N $m^{-1}$ with relative uncertainties of less than 2%.
