근무 환경에 따른 육군 비행재킷의 선호도 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Preference of the Korean Army's Flight Jacket According to Working Environment)

  • This study is to understand the preferences of pilots, flight engineers and crew who work in the same aircraft but are exposed to different working environments and perform different mission operations in order to develop an ergonomic flight jacket. Based on a preliminary investigation, a survey of 107 pilots and 36 flight engineers and crew was conducted. The results are as follows; Pilots can control the temperature inside the cockpit, so they are less exposed to the cold when working, while flight engineers and crew are exposed to the cold more because they have many external tasks. The reason for the problem of the current flight jacket was a difference in ranking between two groups, but the highest ranking was poor dimensional suitability due to the habit of wearing layers of clothing. As a result of preferred design, there were significant differences between groups in the item of overall style. Pilots preferred a bomber jacket style(P:68.2%, E&C:44.4%), on the other hand, flight engineers and crew preferred a field jacket style(P:26.2%, E&C:55.6%)(p<.01). They preferred a stand collar(P:71.0%, E&C:86.1%), a fastener slider for a front fastening(P:62.6%, E&C:61.1%), fastener tape cuffs(P:54.2%, E&C:47.2%), a jacket with a softshell(P:86.9%, E&C:83.3%), fleece as softshell material(P:88.8%, E&C:69.4%), and fastener sliders as a attaching method(P:69.2%, E&C:61.1%). A hem fastening will be selected differently according to the overall style of outshell. Additionally, they preferred more than 5ea pockets(P:51.4%, E&C:44.4%), fastener sliders as pocket's fastenings(P:48.6%, E&C:61.1%), armpit ventilations(P:62.9%, E&C:58.5%). The results of above will be considered to design an ergonomic flight jacket.

  • 파라-브로모-알파-디에틸아미노아세토훼논(1a)과 파라 브로모-알파-피페리디노아세토훼논(1b)의 Bucherer-Bergs 히단토인 형성반응에 있어서 예상되는 화합물인 5-피페리디노메틸히단토인(2b)이 형성되지 않았다. 디에틸아미노메틸기와 피페리디노메틸기가 이탈되고 5-(파라-브로모훼닐)히단토인 (3)의 이합체화반응으로 형성된 것으로 볼 수 있는 p,p'-디브로로디훼닐히단틸(4)과 5-(파라-브로모훼닐)히단토인의 분해산물로 생각되는 파라-브로모벤조산(5)이 형성되었다. 파라-브로모-알파-몰포리노아세토훼논(1c)의 경우에 있어서는 예상화합물인 5-(파라-브로모훼닐)-5-몰포리노메틸히단토인(2c)이 형성되었다

  • p-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde 4-(p-ethoxyphenyl) thiosemicarbazone, C18H22N4OS의, 단위포상수는 단사정계 a=11.802(2), b=31.962(2), c=9.829(2)A, β=100.12(1)˚, V=3694.8A3이며 F(000)=1472, Mr=342.47, 공간군은 P2₁/c, Z=8, Dx=1.246 Mg m-3, Dm=1.17Mg m-3, μ=0.15mm-1이다. T=294 K에서 Mo Ka(λ=0.71073 A)을 사용하여 최종 R값은 0.0856이다. 비대칭단위내의 두개 분자간의 구조상의 큰차이는 C(9)-N(1)-C(6)-C(7)의 비틀림각이 각각 58.8(8)˚와 1(1)˚인것으로, 각 분자는 길이가 각각 2.613(7)과 2.566(7) A인 N(1)-H(10)'N(3) 분자내 수고결합을 하고 있으며 각 분자는 N(2)원자를 정점으로 하여 V-모양을 하고 있다. 독립적인 두 분자는 두개의 분자간 수소 결합 N(2)-H(11)'S'=3.367(5) A과 N(2')-H(11')'S=3.421(4)A으로 연결되어 이중체(dimer)를 형성하고 있으며 그 이중체들은 van der Waals력으로 결합되어 있다.

Pork Quality Traits According to Postmortem pH and Temperature in Berkshire

  • This study was performed to investigate the role of pH and temperature postmortem, and to demonstrate the importance of these factors in determining meat quality. Postmortem pH45min (pH at 45 min postmortem or initial pH) via analysis of Pearson’s correlation showed high positive correlation with pH change pHc24 (pH change from pH45min to pH24h postmortem). However, postmortem pH after 24 h (pH24h or ultimate pH) had a high negative correlation with pH change, pHc24, CIE L*, and protein content. Initial temperature postmortem (T1h ) was positively associated with a change in temperature from 45 min to 24 h postmortem (Tc24) and cooking loss, but negatively correlated with water holding capacity. Temperature at 24 h postmortem (T24h) was negatively associated with Tc24. Collectively, these results indicate that higher initial pH was associated with higher pHc24, T1h, and Tc24. However, higher initial pH was associated with a reduction in carcass weight, backfat thickness, CIE a* and b*, water holding capacity, collagen and fat content, drip loss, and cooking loss as well as decreased shear force. In contrast, CIE a* and b*, drip loss, cooking loss, and shear force in higher ultimate pH was showed by a similar pattern to higher initial pH, whereas pHc24, carcass weight, backfat thickness, water holding capacity, fat content, moisture content, protein content, T1h, T24h, and Tc24 were exhibited by completely differential patterns (p<0.05). Therefore, we suggest that initial pH, ultimate pH, and temperatures postmortem are important factors in determining the meat quality of pork.

  • Tn5의 kanamycin 저항성 유전자를 가진 pBEL1 plasmid와 C.glutamicum cryptic plasmid인 pSR1으로 7.5kb의 새로운 plasmid를 만든 후, 이를 pCE1301이라 명명하였다. 이 pCE1301은 PEG1301은 PEG-protoplast법으로 C.glutamicum을 형질전환하였을 때 효율이 약 $3.0\times 10^3$형질전환제/$\mu g$이었으며 SalI과 EcoRI 제한효소 절단부위가 1개씩이었다. 또 Km이 없는 배지에서 25세대까지 안정하게 유지되었으며 B.flavum, E.coli에서 복제되었다. 이 pCE1301을 이용하여 C.glutamicum 의 homoserine dehydrogenase 유전자를 cloning하였다.

식품소재로서의 Xylooligosaccharide의 물리화학적 특성 (Physicochemical Properties of Xylooligosaccharide as Food Material)

  • Xylan과 xylanase의 효소반응 후 생성되는 xylooligosaccharide를 식품에 적용하기 위해 점도, 내열성 및 pH 안정성, 착색성, 수분보습력 등의 기본적인 물리화학적 특성을 조사하였다. 70bx xylooligosacchride의 점도는 $20^{\circ}C$에서 930cP, $60^{\circ}C$에서 90 cp로 설탕보다 높았으나, 다른 올리고당류보다는 약간 낮은 특성을 나타내었으며, pH $2.5{\sim}8.0$ 범위에서 $100^{\circ}C$로 1시간 동안 열처리한 후에도 전혀 분해되지 않고 안정하게 잔존하여 내열성과 pH 안정성을 가지고 있음을 알 수 있었다. Xylooligosacchride의 pH는 $5.0{\pm}0.1$로서 pH $2.5{\sim}4.0$에서는 그 착색성이 매우 낮았으며, pH가 증가할수록 착색성이 높아지는 경향을 보였으나, 식품가공에 영향을 미치는 수준은 아니었다. Glycine 1%가 함유된 아미노산 공존하에서의 착색성도 매우 낮았으며 pH에 따라 크게 차이를 보이지 않았다. 수분보습력을 조사하기 위하여 71일간 $25^{\circ}C$, 75% 상대습도에서 xylooligosacchride를 저장 후 측정한 결과 95% 이상의 중량을 유지하고 있어 28%가 감량된 설탕보다 수분손실이 훨씬 적어 수분보습력이 훨씬 큰 것을 알 수 있었다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때 xylooligosacchride는 식품에 사용하기에 적합한 물성을 가지고 있어 기능성 증진 효과를 나타내고자 하는 다양한 식품에 응용 가능할 것으로 판단된다.

Unilateral C1 Lateral Mass and C2 Pedicle Screw Fixation for Atlantoaxial Instability in Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients : Comparison with the Bilateral Method

  • Objective : Bilateral C1 lateral mass and C2 pedicle screw fixation (C1LM-C2P) is an ideal technique for correcting atlantoaxial instability (AAI). However, the inevitable situation of vertebral artery injury or unfavorable bone structure may necessitate the use of unilateral C1LM-C2P. This study compares the fusion rates of the C1 lateral mass and C2 pedicle screw in the unilateral and bilateral methods. Methods : Over five years, C1LM-C2P was performed in 25 patients with AAI in our institute. Preoperative studies including cervical X-ray, three-dimensional computed tomography (CT), CT angiogram, and magnetic resonance imaging were performed. To evaluate bony fusion, measurements of the atlanto-dental interval (ADI) and CT scans were performed in the preoperative period, immediate postoperative period, and postoperatively at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. Results : Unilateral C1LM-C2P was performed in 11 patients (44%). The need to perform unilateral C1LM-C2P was due to anomalous course of the vertebral artery in eight patients (73%) and severe degenerative arthritis in three patients (27%). The mean ADI in the bilateral group was 2.09 mm in the immediate postoperative period and 1.75 mm in 12-months postoperatively. The mean ADI in the unilateral group was 1.82 mm in the immediate postoperative period and 1.91 mm in 12-months postoperatively. Comparison of ADI measurements showed no significant differences in either group (p=0.893), and the fusion rate was 100% in both groups. Conclusion : Although bilateral C1LM-C2P is effective for AAI from a biomechanical perspective, unilateral screw fixation is a useful alternative in patients with anatomical variations.

인 축적 토양에서 작물의 생장과 토양 유효인 함량의 경시적 변화 (Growth of Plant and Changes in Phosphorus Availability in Phosphorus Accumulated Soils)

  • 본 연구는 인이 축적된 토양을 대상으로 작물 연속 재배에 따른 토양 유효 인 함량의 경시적 변화를 고찰함은 물론 이를 근거로 하여 인이 축적된 토양이 작물생장 적정 수준 이상의 인을 공급할 수 있는 기간을 예측하여 토양에 축적된 인의 효율적 이용에 기여하고자 수행되었다. 공시 토양은 인이 과잉 집적됨으로써 10% 미만의 시비인 회수율을 보였으며, 인 무처리구의 작물 생산량은 추천시비량을 시비한 경우의 88% 이상으로 나타나 시비 수준에 따른 작물체 생장 차이는 없었던 것으로 판단할 수 있었다. 인산질 비료를 무시비한 상태에서 연속 4회 작물 재배한 후에도 토양 유효인은 여전히 높은 수준 (Bray 1-P : $410{\sim}610mg\;P\;kg^{-1}$, Olsen-P : $284{\sim}401mg\;P\;kg^{-1}$, Lancaster-P : $368{\sim}524mg\;P\;kg^{-1}$, 가용성인: $37{\sim}55mg\;P\;kg^{-1}$)을 유지하였다. 토양 유효인의 감소량과 작물에 의해 흡수된 인 사이에는 유의성있는 상관관계 (Bray 1-P : $R^2=0.536^{**}{\sim}0.761^{**}$, Olsen-P : $R^2=0.642^{**}{\sim}0.774^{**}$, Lancaster-P : $R^2=0.513^{**}{\sim}0.797^{**}$)가 있었다. Soil 1 유효인 감소량(y)과 작물흡수한 인(x) 사이에 상관식은 다음과 같았다. Bray 1-P : y = 149.7x + 102.7 Lancaster-P : y = 209.2x-140.2 Olsen-P : y = 260.8x + 19.9 인 무처리구 토양의 유효인 함량(C)이 작물 재배회수(N)에 따라 감소하는 경향은 1차 반응 속도 방정식으로 나타낼 수 있었으며, 이 식을 통해서 유효인이 초기함량의 절반이나 인 유효도 한계 치까지 감소하는 데 소요되는 작물 재배 회수를 예측할 수 있었다. Soil 1의 유효인 감소 속도 방정식은 다음과 같았다. Bray 1-P : In(C) = -0.12N + 6.96 r=-0.991, Lancaster - P : In(C) = -0.14N + 6.88 r=-0.938. Olsen-P : In(C) = -0.07N + 6.37 r=-0.959.

마우스 대식세포(Raw 264.7)에 대한 한약조성물 KOCO-P1의 세포활성 연구 (Study on Biological Effect of Multi-Herbal Drug KOCO-Pl on Mouse Macrophage Raw 264.7 Cells)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the biological Effect of multi-herbal drug 'KOCO-P1' on mouse macrophage Raw 264.7 cells. Methods : Multi-herbal drug 'KOCO-P1' was composed of Ginseng Radix, Astragali Radix, Polygonati Rhizoma, Liriopis Tuber, and Scrophulariae Radix. Cytotoxicity and cytoprotective activity of K0C0-P1 was verificated by MTT assay. And antioxidative effect of K0C0-P1 against EtOH, Nicotine was inspected by Hydroperoxide assay. Results : K0C0-P1 showed no cytotoxicity on RAW 264.7 cells for 24, 48, 72 hours. KOCO-P1 at 200, 100, and 50 ug/mL reduced the production of H202 in Raw 264.7 cells by EtOH. KOCO-P1 at 50 ug/mL reduced the production of H202 in Raw 264.7 cells by Nicotine. Conclusions : KOCO-P1 could be supposed to have antioxidative effect on macrophage with no cytotoxicity.

Analysis of a Sphingosine 1-phosphate Receptor $hS1P_3$ in Rat Hepatoma Cells

  • To examine intracellular signaling of human $S1P_3\;(hS1P_3),$ a sphingosine 1-phosphate (S1P) receptor in plasma membrane, $hS1P_3$ DNA was transfected into RH7777 rat hepatoma cell line, and the inhibition of forskolin-induced cAMP accumulation and activation of MAP kinases by S1P were tested. In $hS1P_3$ transformants, S1P inhibited forskolin-induced activation of adenylyl cyclase activity by about 80% and activated MAP kinases in dose-dependent and pertussis-toxin (PTX) sensitive manners. In oocytes expressing $hS1P_3$ receptor, S1P evoked $Cl^-$ conductance. These data suggested that PTX-sensitive G proteins are involved in $hS1P_3-mediated$ signaling, especially the positive action of S1P in cell proliferation. The potential advantages of rat hepatoma cells for the research of sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor are discussed.
