u-City 운영비 절감방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on a Strategy for Reducing Operating Costs of u-City)

  • The first full-scale u-City operation has started in Dongtan u-City. As local cities take over and operates the u-City, unexpected issues arise such as securing the budget of operating costs and self-providing the costs with business models utilizing the u-City assets. The paper presents a strategy for solving these issues. The strategy provides a foundation(infrastructure) for long-term operation models which may reduce the long-term operation costs. In order to establish the economic operating framework of u-City, suggested are some cost-reduction models based on the operating costs structure. For each model, a base framework with comparative analysis of operating costs is provided. With these models, each u-City may select a relevant model according to the characteristics of it. We hope that the framework provides the foundation for efficient and sustainable u-City operations.

항공 및 관광산업 현황 및 발전 전략 - 강원도를 중심으로 (The dynamic trends and development strategy of Ganwon-do's Aviation and Tourism Industry)

  • This study analyzes the trends and features of Gangwon-do's aviaion and tourism industry using data published by the National Statistical Office. The categorization of tourism industry was based on the definition and category proposed by the OECD, WTO and Korea Culture Tourism Institution. Gangwon-do showed that the weight in wholesale, hotels, construction, restaurant and catering in the total number of tourism business, the number of workers, business sales and business operating profit exceed 85%. To improve the overall competitiveness of the tourism industry, it was suggested that Gangwon-do should work on the policy of expanding business in scale. This paper investigates also the role of aviation in the development of Gangwon-do's tourism industry.

The 'Relatedness' Perspective in Compliance Management of Multi-business Firms

  • This paper tries to closely look at compliance knowledge relatedness and IT relatedness based on Tanriverdi's 'relatedness' concept. Also, this paper's main focus lies on how knowledge relatedness and IT relatedness influence compliance performance through compliance knowledge exploitation. The present study conducted a full-scale survey and finalized questionnaire was sent to compliance managers of 187 Korean multi-business firms. This study found (1) the impact of compliance knowledge relatedness on compliance performance, (2) the mediating role of knowledge exploitation on the relationship between compliance knowledge relatedness and compliance performance, and (3) the interaction effect of IT relatedness and compliance knowledge relatedness on knowledge exploitation. This paper contributes to both academic and business world by widening applicability of theories and providing guidelines conducive to improved compliance performance of corporations.

  • The purpose of this research is to discuss the development history and future strategy of Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd. Founded in 1997, Geely Automotive Group has grown from a small workshop to one of China's leading automakers after nearly three decades of development.This paper first reviews the development of Geely Automobile, from the initial small-scale production to the current global layout and diversified product line. Secondly, it analyzes the challenges and opportunities faced by Geely Automobile, including the intensification of market competition and the changing demand for technological innovation.And put forward the future development strategy of Geely Automobile, including improving the quality of products, expanding the international market and promoting the development of new energy vehicles. By analyzing the development history and future strategy of Geely Automobile Group Co., Ltd., we can better understand the company's position and future development direction in China's automobile industry.

일본의 대규모 소매점포 규제 정책 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Changes in Regulatory Policy against Large-scale Retail Stores in Japan)

  • Purpose - This study aims to investigate the process of political changes in Japan, which has introduced regulatory policies for large-scale retail stores since the 1930s, as well as the examples, and suggests improvement schemes for our policies in Korea, which imposes restrictions on business hours and forced holidays in accordance with the current Distribution Industry Development Act. Research design, data, and methodology - After examining the political change processes related to large-scale retail stores in japan, this study analyzes individually regulated cases based on the ordinances enacted by each local government. Through case analysis in Japan, this study makes political suggestions that may be helpful for our country substantially. Results - Since there is an obvious possibility that our economic restrictions on business hours and mandatory holidays do not coincide with WTO GATS, it is necessary for large-scale distributors to introduce new social and environmental regulations similar to Japan, rather than imposing controls to restrict free competition and also introduce a policy to induce cooperation with small businesses for the advancement of the distribution industry. Thus, it is desirable to take measures on noise, waste, traffic, and parking for the preservation of the living environment in the surroundings when building new large-scale retail stores. It is also important to establish measures to improve the welfare of neighborhood residents and consumers, create a pleasant urban environment, and make it mandatory to make presentations at public hearings among residents. Furthermore, it should be mandatory to establish regional contribution plans when a retail store is established, and take measures to solve various civil complaints or problems that may occur after entering the market. Moreover, it is desirable for large-scale retail stores that entered the market to induce cooperation in performing various activities in the area with a strong sense that they are all members of the local economy. Conclusions - If introducing social regulations like in Japan, there is probably an advantage that the conflicts seen when large-scale retail stores enter the market are absorbed by adjusting the persons concerned within the established institution in order to establish a field to solve such conflicts systematically. In contrast, there are still concerns regarding chaotic operation without any active attempts to have a conversation with large-scale retail stores and local small merchants due to a sharp conflict among the persons concerned, and if it is a briefing session without any decision of the restrictions on their opening itself, there may be doubts with regard to their effectiveness. Moreover, if the de facto opening is restricted by the introduction of such a briefing session procedure, the choice of whether to protect the existing rights of large-scale retail stores might become problematic. However, such problems could be minimized in a way by forming a separate consultative group for all persons concerned including residents, local governments, professionals, civic organizations, small merchants, and massive retail store-related persons.

지진 및 지진해일 발생 시 지방자치단체의 업무연속성 확보를 위한 기초 연구 (A Basic Study for Securing the Business Continuity of Local Governments in the Event of Earthquake and Tsunami)

  • 본 연구는 운영연속성 계획과 업무연속성관리 계획에 대한 개념과 국제 표준 ISO22301 및 재난대응 공통필수기능에 대해 이론적 검토를 실시하였으며 일본 지방자치단체 업무연속성 지침서 및 구축사례를 분석하여 지진 및 지진해일 발생에 따른 지방자치단체 업무연속성 계획 수립을 위한 반영사항을 도출하였다. 결과적으로는 지방자치단체 업무연속성 계획 수립을 위하여 중앙정부차원의 표준지침이 마련되어야 하고 이를 바탕으로 원활하게 구축할 수 있는 토대를 갖추어야 한다. 또한 기존에 수립된 안전관리계획을 바탕으로 업무연속성 계획을 수립하여 지방자치단체의 지역적 특성을 반영하여 작성되어야 한다. 그리고 그 지역에 맞는 업무연속성 계획을 수립하기 위해 충분한 조사를 실시하여 각각의 조직, 물자 및 시설, 환경적 특성을 알아볼 수 있다. 마지막으로 지방자치단체 업무연속성 계획을 수립하기 위해 지진 및 지진해일 발생 규모, 피해에 대하여 세부적인 시나리오를 작성하여 규모에 따른 신속한 대응을 할 수 있도록 여건을 조성한다.

유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경을 고려한 모바일 비즈니스 프레임워크 개발 (Developing a Mobile-Business Framework Considering Ubiquitous Computing Environment)

  • 본 연구에서는 모바일 비즈니스를 특정 단말기 형태에 국한되지 않고, 이동성이 부과된 e-비즈니스로 정의하고, 더 포괄적인 가상공간에서의 상거래 프레임워크를 이루는 두 축으로 연결성(connectivity)과 이동성(mobility)을 도출하여 두 축의 조화(combination)로 인한 각 서비스의 내용들을 여러 사례들을 제시하여 설명한다. 기존 전자 상거래와 e-비즈니스를 설명할 때 주로 고려되었던 "연결성" 요소 이외에, 오프라인상의 "이동성" 요소를 추가한 점이 본프레임워크의 특징이라 할 수 있겠다. 이동성이 '장소(위치)'가 전제되어야 한다는 점에 착안하여 이와 관련된 기술적 요소로 위치 기반 서비스(LBS: Location-Based Service)가 새로운 e-비즈니스 모델 및 서비스 개발에 중요한 역할을 할 것으로 기대된다.

국산 캐릭터를 테마로 한 어린이 실내 테마파크의 현황 및 시장전략에 관한 기초연구 (Foundational Research on the Market Strategies and Current Status of Children's Indoor Theme Parks with Korean Characters as Their Theme)

  • 본 연구는 문화콘텐츠 비즈니스의 한 분야인 테마파크 비즈니스와 관련하여, 기존의 대규모 야외 복합 테마파크 중심의 접근에서 벋어나 소규모 소자본 전략의 실내 테마파크를 지향하는 흐름에 주목하고 있다. 기존의 대규모 야외 복합 테마파크가 수천억 원 규모의 자본과 고난이도의 기술력, 최신 운영 노하우 등을 필요로 함으로써 큰 리스크와 함께 높은 신규 진입장벽을 가지고 있는 것에 반해, 최근의 실내 테마파크들은 효율적인 리스크 관리와 탄력적인 시장전략으로 시장진입에 성공하고 있기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 실내 테마파크들 가운데 새로운 시장인 국산 캐릭터를 테마로 한 어린이 실내 테마파크 시장의 현황을 살펴보고, 국산 캐릭터의 프로퍼티 가치 확장과 국내 테마파크 시장의 확산이라는 두 가지 확장의 측면에서 이 시장의 시장전략을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위해 테마파크에 관한 선행연구들을 검토하여 공간적 분류와 테마별 분류, 주 사용자층에 따른 분류 등을 기준으로 국내에 존재하는 테마파크의 유형을 나누어보았다. 또한 국산 캐릭터를 테마로 한 어린이 실내 테마파크 가운데 수도권 소재 5개소를 직접 방문하여 현황조사를 실시하였고, 수도권 소재 2개소와 지방 4개소는 업체 담당자를 통해 현황자료를 입수하여 분석하였다. 또 올 4월 25일 신규 개관한 '디보빌리지' 청계천점을 방문한 관람객을 대상으로 만족도 조사를 시행하여 분석하였다. 이를 통해 현재 국산 캐릭터를 테마로 한 어린이 실내 테마파크 비즈니스의 구조를 분석하고 수행중인 시장전략의 유효성을 분석할 수 있는 토대를 제시하여 보았다. 본 연구를 통하여 테마파크 비즈니스의 틈새시장이라 할 수 있는 실내 테마파크 비즈니스에 대한 체계적이고 심도 있는 논의의 단초를 마련하여 소규모 지역밀착형 실내 테마파크들이 국내 테마파크 산업의 유력한 비즈니스 모델로 연구될 수 있기를 기대한다. 또한 캐릭터 비즈니스의 측면에서도 국산 애니메이션 캐릭터들의 프로퍼티 가치의 공간적 스토리텔링적 확장의 새로운 모델을 정립하는 계기가 될 수 있기를 바란다.

폐광의 환경친화적 관광자원 개발 방안 (Environmentally Friendly Utilization of the Abandoned Mine Sites As a Recreational Resource)

  • With reducing coal mining industry the number of coal mine sites between 1988 and 1998 was dropped from 347 to 12. Since the abandoned coal mine sites have been kept without any cares, they have raised various environmental and safety problems. Then, Korean government initiated a special law in 1995 for enhancing economic conditions and solving environmental problems with promoting developmental projects in the abandoned mining sites. As a result, casino business in Chungsun area has been opened to publics, and other large-scale developments such as ski slopes and resorts are planned. In addition, Boryung area in Chungchung province also will launch a large-scale project building golf courses. Based on this developmental trend, it is expected that lots of large-scale developments in other places will be taken place. In general, the large-scale developments have caused various environmental problems, and, thus, environmental aspects should be considered in a decision-making process. This paper examine the status of the abandoned mine sites in Korea and U.S. and suggests the alternatives of its utilization.

의복만족 척도: 소비자 생활주기적 접근 (A Scale for Clothing Satisfaction: A Consumer Life Cycle Approach)

  • This study develops a scale for consumer clothing satisfaction based on Lee et al. 's (2002) five stages of the consumer life cycle (acquisition, possession, consumption, maintenance, and disposal). Data were gathered by surveying college students using convenience sampling, and 419 questionnaires were used in the statistical analysis. In analyzing the data, an exploratory factor analysis and a confirmatory factor analysis using a structural equation modeling were conducted. The proposed scale, which identified various sources of satisfaction and dissatisfaction associated with the 5 consumption cycles of clothing, suggests some guidelines for marketers in enhancing consumer clothing satisfaction across consumption stages. The model test for the scale also identified that consumption satisfaction had the greatest effect on consumer clothing satisfaction showing the strongest loading and squared multiple correlation.
