퍼지제어를 이용한 비선형 2기 5모선 전력계통의 안정화 (Stabilization of nonlinear two-generator five-bus power systems using fuzzy control)

  • This paper presents the application of a FARMA controller to stabilization of nonlinear Two-Generator Five-Bus power Systems. The control rules and the membership functions of the FARMA controller are generated automatically without using any plant model high complexity and severe nonlinearity of power systems are introduced and two-Machine Five -Bus Power system stabilization problem is formulated. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness and application possibility of the FARMA controller to the control problem of high order and nonlinear plants.

  • A DC Power Distribution Systems(DC PDS) are widely used in telecommunication system, electric vehicle, aircraft, military system, etc. In the DC PDS, DC bus voltage instability may be occurred by the operation of multiple loads such as pulsed power load, motor drive system, and constant power loads. To damp the transients of the DC bus voltage, the Voltage Bus Conditioner(VBC) with the PI compensator is used. In this paper, the validity of the proposed VBC system is verified by PSIM simulation package.

Low-Power Bus Architecture Composition for AMBA AXI

  • A system-on-a-chip communication architecture has a significant impact on the performance and power consumption of modern multi-processors system-on-chips (MPSoCs). However, customization of such architecture for a specific application requires the exploration of a large design space. Thus, system designers need tools to rapidly explore and evaluate communication architectures. In this paper we present the method for application-specific low-power bus architecture synthesis at system-level. Our paper has two contributions. First, we build a bus power model of AMBA AXI bus communication architecture. Second, we incorporate this power model into a low-power architecture exploration algorithm that enables system designers to rapidly explore the target bus architecture. The proposed exploration algorithm reduces power consumption by 20.1% compared to a maximally connected reduced matrix, and the area is also reduced by 20.2% compared to the maximally connected reduced matrix.

  • In express bus which has no window, the air quality inside the bus is very critical for the passengers who staying for an extended time. Air conditioning system using natural energy is expected to significantly improve the air quality while the bus runs the suburban area. But the express buses today usually attempt to ventilate using air conditioning system, rather than natural ventilation. In this study, analysis of existing ventilation opening and the new ventilation system on roof, using computer simulation. As a result, two cases using existing ventilation device was found to be effective for partial ventilation only, while the air in front remains standstill. The new system proved to have promoted more dynamic ventilation in most of space.

  • In this paper, we have developed bus load forecasting system (BUSLOF) based on Windows 95. It has been developed for the secure operation of electric power system. It forecasts regional load and bus load using regional distribution factor(RDF) and bus distribution factor (BDF) which are calculated from bus load in the past. It is equipped with graphic user interface(GUI) which enables a user to easily access to the system. The performance of the developed system is estimated in sample data.

  • Byteflight is developed based on RS-485 communication (an international standard), and it can be used as a data bus during the operation of an integrated avionics system in the latest aircraft. Therefore, the integrated avionics system can perform an effective and safe flight mission only when the accurate and seamless display of flight information, communication, and accurate functions of navigation are implemented. In this study, cause analysis and failure investigation were performed on screen abnormalities and communication interruptions due to signal interference in the Byteflight data bus of the integrated avionics system during aircraft operation. To improve signal interference between avionics units, the branch point and wiring path of the Byteflight data bus were changed, and the verification result of the improved method was also described.

  • 각 지자체에서 대중교통 활성화를 위해 실시하고 있는 BMS사업은 버스서비스 질 향상을 통한 대중교통활성화를 목표로 하고 있다. BMS(Bus Management System)에 있어 노선별 배차간격 관리는 버스의 정시성 확보를 통한 버스 이용자의 편의를 제고하는 중요한 요소라 할 수 있다. 이를 위해 버스배차간격 및 정시성 준수여부 등 버스서비스 수준을 객관적으로 파악해야만 효율적인 버스운행 관리를 할 수 있으나, 기존 방법의 대부분이 정성적 지표에 머물고 있다. 또한 버스운행 정보의 부족으로 정량적인 평가방법은 현장조사가 대부분이었다. 그러나 현재는 각 지자체 BMS의 도입으로 개별 버스의 자세한 운행 정보 수집과 정량적인 지표에 의한 객관적인 번스 운행 평가가 가능하게 되었다. 따라서 BMS 센터로 수집되는 개별 버스의 위치정보를 활용한 버스운행 서비스수준을 평가하는 지표의 개발이 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 기존의 버스 정시성 평가방법을 고찰하고 새로운 버스운행 정시성 지표를 개발하고자 한다. 지표개발은 노선별 시공도 작성을 통해, 스케줄 기반(Scheduled-based), 차두시간 기반(Headway-based)로 나누어 진행하였으며, 본 연구에서 개발한 지표를 실제 버스운행 수집 데이터에 적용해 정시성을 평가해 보았다.

  • A simple and practial equivalent technique has been presented in this study. Arbitrary number of bus system can be aggregated to the equivalent one-bus system, equivalents are totel real, and reactive bus powers and T/L losses viewing form boundary buses. Variables to be determined are line impedance between boundary buses and the equivalent bus, voltage and angle of that bus. IEEE 14 bus system is used to demonstrate the proposed method. even in contingency cases very good results have been obtained

  • A DC power system has many loads with varied functions. Also, there may be large pulsed loads with short duty ratios which can affect the normal operation of other loads. In this paper, Voltage Bus Conditioner(VBC) without any current sensors is proposed to damp the bus voltage transients by parallel pulsed loads. The proposed control approach requires only one voltage sensor and carries out both the functions of damping the bus voltage transients and maintaining the level of energy stored. The proposed control technique has been implemented on a TMS320F2812 Digital Signal Processor(DSP). Simulated results by a Matlab Simulink and experimental results are presented which verify the control principles and demonstrate the practicalty of the approach.

선로절환에 의한 과부화 해소 앨고리즘 (An Overload Alleviation Algorithm by Line Switching)

  • This paper presents a new algorithm for the countermeasure to alleviate the line overloads due to contingency without shedding loads in a power system. This method for relieving the line overloads by line switching is based on obtaining the kine outage distribution factors-the linear sensitivity factors, which give the amount of change in the power flow of each line due to the removal of a line in a power system. There factors are made up of the elements of sparse bus reactance matrix and brach reactances. In this paper a fast algorithm and program is presented for obtaining only the required bus reactance elements which corresponds to a non-zero elements of bus admittance matrix, and elements of columns which correspond to two terminal buses of the overloaded(monitored) line. The proposed algorithm has been validated in tests on a 6-bus and the 30-bus test system.
