Localization with array sensors has been applied for not only military but also non-military purposes. The identification of submarines and fish finding are those examples. Nowadays the demand for noise identification is increasing to characterize noise sources and improve acoustic performance of underwater acoustic equipment. For that reason KRISO/KORDI recently constructed an anechoic basin which bus reflection only at the free surface. This paper suggests a noise identification methods using MUSIC algorithm in such an acoustic field. For comparison phase delay sum and minimum valiance methods are also described. At first basic principles are described. A several numerical simulations are also performed. The results say that reflection effect many cause a new non-real source although good estimation is obtained under no reflection conditions.
The applications of Distributed Generation (DG) in a smart distribution grid environment are widely employed especially for power balancing and supporting demand responses. Using these applications can have both positive and negative impacts on the distribution system. The sizing and location of their installations are the issues that should be taken into consideration to gain the maximum benefit from them when considering the economic aspects. This paper presents an application of the Bat Algorithm (BA) for the optimal sizing and siting of DG in a smart distribution power system in order to maximize the Benefit to Cost Ratio (BCR), subjected to system constraints including real and reactive power generation, line and transformer loading, voltage profile, energy losses, fault level as well as DG operating limits. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology and the impact of considering economic issues on DG placement, a simplify 9-bus radial distribution system of the Provincial Electricity Authority of Thailand (PEA) is selected for the computer simulation to explore the benefit of the optimal DG placement and the performance of the proposed approach.

This paper deals with the concept design of HVDC system for controlling AC network reactive power. HVDC system can control active power and reactive power and the control concept of reactive power is similar to SVC(Static Var Compensator). Reactive power is controlled by adjusting firing angle of HVDC system under the condition that AC filters are switched. Reactive power depends on AC voltage condition, considering the steady-state and transient state to maintain the stable operation of AC network in the viewpoint of voltage stability. Therefore, in the design stage of HVDC, the reactive power required in the AC network must be considered. For the calculation of operation angle in HVDC system, the expected reactive power demand and supply status is examined at each AC system bus. The required reactive power affects the determination of the operation angle of HVDC. That is, the range of "control deadband" of operation angle should have the capability supplying the required reactive power. Finally, the reactive power control concepts is applied to 1GW BTB Pyeongtaek-Dangjin HVDC system.

The conventional drive system of SRM has a current sensor per each phase. The torque demand signal generated by the outer control loop is translated into individual current reference signal for each phase. The torque is controlled by regulating these currents. Using the SRM in a variable-speed control, the phase currents are generally regulated to achieve a square wave. The simplest form of current regulation uses fixed frequency delta modulation of the phase voltages. The aim of this paper is to regulate 3-phases current of SRM by only single current sensor using delta modulation with digital chip. In this paper, the asymmetric bridge converter which is able to control independently phases and be excited simultaneously is used as the driver system for 6/4 poles SRM. And the current sensor is replaced 3 sensors of each phase with only one on bus line of converter so as to detect current of every phase. The proposed delta modulation technique has been implemented in a simple digital logic circuit using EPLD(Electrically Programmable Logic Device). This method is verified through simulation and experiment results.

As environmental pollution and fossil fuel energy problems from fuel vehicle have occurred, the interest of electric vehicle(EV) has increased. EV industry and energy industry have grown dynamically in these days. It is expected that the next generation of primary transportation will be EV, and it is necessary to prepare EV infra and efficient energy management such as EV communication protocol, EV charge station, and smart grid. Those EV and energy industry fields are now on growth. Also, the study and development of them are now in progress. In this paper, distributed charge signal processing software for smart slow and quick EV charge is proposed and designed for dealing with EV charge demand. The software consists of smart slow and quick EV charge schedule engine and EV charge power distribution core. The software is designed to support two charge station types. One is normal EV charge station and the other is bus garage EV charge station. Both two types collect the data from EV charge stations, and then analyze the collected data. The software suggests optimized EV charge schedule and deliveries EV charge power distribution information to power switchboard system, and the designed software is implemented on embedded system. It is expected that the software provides efficient EV charge schedule.
This study is the central axis of the MG (Micro-Grid) configuration and it has the link through the modular hybrid power source and the DC bus, and it provides the function to detect and block the illegal connection by using the standard socket, And to achieve stabilization. Development of power conversion device, smart distribution panel, integrated control system and efficient demand management are required, and compatibility with MG whole system is urgent. This is a hybrid power generation system that is safe with a common power connection protocol and can be easily connected to anyone. This makes it easy to manage data and prepare for expansion of various manufacturers' systems.

There is an increasing demand for the rolling resistance reduction in truck bus radial (TBR) tires in the tire industry. In TBR tires, natural rubber is used as a base polymer to prevent wear and satisfy required physical properties (cut and chip). A binary filler system (silica and carbon black) is used to balance the durability of the tire and rolling resistance performance. In this study, natural rubber (NR) compounds applied with a binary filler system were manufactured at different cure temperatures for vulcanizate structure analysis. The vulcanizate structures were categorized into carbon black bound rubber, silica silane rubber network, and chemical crosslink density by sulfur. Regardless of the cure temperature, the cross-link density per unit content of carbon black had a greater effect on the properties than silica due to affinity with NR. The relationship analysis between the mechanical, viscoelastic properties with vulcanizate structure could be a guideline for manufacturing practical TBR compounds.

As regulations on greenhouse gas emission have strengthened globally, the demand for improved fuel efficiency in automobiles continues to rise. In response, the tire industry is actively conducting research to improve fuel efficiency by enhancing tire performance. In this study, silica-filled epoxidized natural rubber (ENR)/butadiene rubber (BR) blend compounds were manufactured according to ENR types and silica contents, and their physical properties and vulcanizate structure were evaluated. ENR-50, which has a higher epoxide content than ENR-25, exhibited stronger filler-rubber interaction, resulting in superior abrasion resistance. In addition, because of its high glass transition temperature (Tg), the wet grip performance of ENR-50 improved, even though the rolling resistance increased. Increasing the amount of silica had little effect on the abrasion resistance due to the increase in filler-rubber interaction and decrease in toughness. In addition, ENR-50 exhibited better wet grip performance; however, the rolling resistance increased. The results indicated that truck bus radial (TBR) tire tread compounds can be designed by applying ENR-50 to improve wear resistance and wet grip performance. In addition, by applying ENR-25 and reducing the silica contents improve fuel efficiency.
The purpose of this study is to extract the main locational factors to affect the location of fastfood stores in Kangnam -Gu, Seoul by using Geographic Information Systems. The Franchise system, which came to be employed in full scale since 1990, now enjoying the booming period, especially fast food industry. The procedure of this research has four steps. First, the spatial distribution of fastfood chain stores in Seoul is analyzed by the land use and road map. Second, the spatial variations of fastfood stores in dong districts of Seoul is explained by multiple regression analysis. Third, the main locational factors to affect the location of fast food stores in Kangnam -Gu are extracted by demand and supply sides using GIS technologies. Finally, the potentiallocational zones where are selected by extracted locational factors are compared with the actual distribution of f astf ood stores in Kangnam - Gu. In terms of demand side, the main locational factors include commercial and service facilities, sub¬ways and bus stops which have a lot of pedestrians, and large apartment districts that have high popu¬lation densities. In terms of supply sides, the main locational factors include land use types and land value, accessibility. After fast food chain stores of Kangnam -Gu are overlaid final potentiallocational zones extracted by demand and supply sides of locational factors, it can be identified that over 80 % of fastfood stores are located in the potentiallocational zone. In conclusion, this study shows that spatial analysis functions may potentially be improved using GIS technologies. However there are still difficulties for the locational analysis for service industries to col¬lect appropriate data in terms of computerized base maps as well as consumer behavior and store characteristics itself.

Recently, due to problems with subway and bus operations, a need has emerged for a solution such as the introduction of an Advanced Transit System. In several municipalities, systems have been introduced using light rail as AGT urban aesthetics construction. There is high inhibition and civil cases are delayed by more environmentally friendly and accessible remedies. For the purpose of this study, Changwon city would be transformed to have an environmentally friendly transportation system such as a tram with an overview. Features, advantages, and disadvantages are analyzed, and systems are established the existing public transport routes by transfer system. Changwon city's tram plan is first step in open in year 2018, and second step with the opening goal of the year 2021, and the total line length of 33.9 km, the station will be built in the 38 locations. and also in 2011 a feasibility study, evaluated a low economic as B/C to 0.88, but it evaluated the high value of the policy analysis as AHP to 0.502. However, introduction of a tram project that should precede the as following condition. The first step in Changwon city's tram plan would be as follows : The introduction of the tram system would demand traffic management along with a restructuring of the bus system, and the tram system would be selected for domestic realities. Secondly, the introduction of trams would comprehend the advanced traffic composition in accordance with the consensus of the citizenship, and a legal system should be established for the introduction of the trams.
