딸기재배 시 연소식 탄산가스 발생기 이용 효과 구명 (Effect of Using Burn-type CO2 Generators When Cultivation Strawberry in a Greenhouse)

  • 본 연구는 저온기 시설 딸기재배에서 연소식 탄산가스 발생기를 이용한 재배효과를 구명하기 위하여 수행하였다. 시설내부 일중 탄산가스 농도는 6시에서 11시 사이에 대조구가 $210{\sim}600{\mu}mol{\cdot}mol^{-1}$ 이었고, 탄산가스 시용구는 $800{\sim}1,100{\mu}mol{\cdot}mol^{-1}$ 이었다. 그 외 시각에서는 대조구와 유사한 분포를 나타내었다. 온실내 온도는 연소방식 탄산가스 시용구는 오전 6시 ~ 10시 대조구에 비해서 $1{\sim}3^{\circ}C$ 높았다. 11시 이후에는 대조구와 차이가 없었다. 초장, 엽장, 엽폭, 관부직경, 생체중, 건물중 등 생육은 처리 간 차이가 없었다. 상품수량은 대조구 3,612kg에 비해서 탄산가스 공급하는 것이 4,131kg으로 519kg 더 무거웠으며 탄산가스 발생기에서 총수량이 대조구에 비해서 17%가 증수 되었다.

어린이 화상사고 유형과 어머니의 예방, 태도, 지식에 대한 실태조사 (A survey of the Types of Burns in Children and Mother's Preventive Attitudes to, and Knowledge of Burns)

  • Burns in children result in the loss of precious life, or if the child survives, in much suffering from physical, emotional, social, and economic problems. These burn accidents to children happen in the bustle of family life and frequently without any warning. With this background information, this study was designed to identity types of burns in children and mothers' attitudes towards, and knowledge of burn prevention, in order, to not only, in still a safety consciousness regarding the seriousness of burn accidents and the strengthening prevention, but also as basic data towards the development of an educational program aimed at prevention. From May 1 to May 25 in 1997, data were collected from the mothers of children attending five day care centers and kindergartens located in Seoul, which had been selected for the study. The tools used for the study, which were developed by the researchers, surveyed the type of burns suffered by children, mothers' knowledge of burns and attitudes toward burn accidents. The data were analyzed through real numbers percentages and analysis was done using SPSS computer programs. The results of the study show that the most frequent type of burn accidents were those caused by hot water(55.4%) and these were frequently related to everyday habits that easily lead to danger. Further, the first aid treatment following a burn was weak. The majority of the mothers had not instructed their children on who to contact in the case of a fire, first aid for burns, or how to take escape in the case of a fire. This left the children in a defenseless position in case of a fire. The mothers showed a lack knowledge, on what to do when a blaze is discovered, how to put out a fire, first aid for burns, escaping from a fire and appropriate water temperature, in that 50% of the time they answered incorrectly. From this study a prevention program, HIPP (Home Injury Prevention Program) could be developed that includes fire prevention habits and first aid for burns. This program can be used with kindergarten and elementary school children for group education on fire prevention and can be used as a foundation for construction of a system of facilities and equipment to prevent fires and also prevent injury from fires.

화상 반흔구축 재건 시 유리피판술의 적응증 및 적절한 피판의 선택 (Correction of Burn Scar Contracture: Indication and Choice of Free Flap)

  • Purpose: Most burn scar contractures are curable with skin grafts, but free flaps may be needed in some cases. Due to the adjacent tissue scarring, local flap is rarely used, and thus we may consider free flap which gives us more options than local flap. However, inappropriate performance of free flap may lead to unsatisfactory results despite technical complexity and enormous amount of effort. The author will discuss the points we should consider when using free flaps in treating burn scar contractures Methods: We surveyed patients who underwent free flaps to correct burn scar contractures from 2000 to 2007. We divided patients into two groups. The first group was those in which free flaps were inevitable due to exposure of deep structures such as bones and tendons. The second group was those in which free flap was used to minimize scar contracture and to achieve aesthetic result. Results: We performed 44 free flap on 42 patients. All of the flaps were taken well except one case of partial necrosis and wound dehiscence. Forearm free flap was the most common with 21 cases. Most of the cases(28 cases) in which free flaps were inevitable were on the wrist and lower limbs. These were cases of soft tissue defect due to wide and extensive burns. Free flaps were done in 16 cases to minimize scar contracture and to obtain aesthetic outcome, recipient sites were mostly face and upper extremities. Conclusion: When using free flaps for correction of burn scar contractures, proper release and full resurfacing of the contracture should be carried out in advance. If inadequate free flap is performed, secondary correction is more challenging than in skin grafts. In order to optimize the result of reconstruction, flap thickness, size and scar of the recipient site should be considered, then we can achieve natural shape, and minimize additional correction.

Landsat TM 영상자료를 활용한 삼척 대형산불 피해지의 비이산화탄소 온실가스 배출량 추정 (Estimation of non-CO2 Greenhouse Gases Emissions from Biomass Burning in the Samcheok Large-Fire Area Using Landsat TM Imagery)

  • 지구온난화 문제는 국지적, 국내적 환경문제가 아닌 범지구적 차원에서 해결하여야 할 문제로 온실가스 규제와 지구환경의 조화를 위한 국제적 노력이 요구된다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 바이오매스 연소시 배출되는 비이산화탄소의 배출량을 정량적으로 추정하기 위한 방법론을 제시하고자 하였고, 산불피해지 구분은 물론 피해강도에 따라 배출되는 비이산화탄소 온실가스를 정량적으로 추정하기 위해 위성영상 자료를 활용하였으며, IPCC 기준인 Tier 2 수준으로 비이산화탄소 온실가스 배출량을 추정하였다. 본 연구에서는 2000년 4월에 발생한 우리나라 최대 산불인 삼척피해지를 대상으로 산불 전후 동일시기에 관측된 Landsat 위성영상으로부터 정규탄화지수(NBR)를 추출하여 산불피해지역과 피해강도를 정량적으로 분석하였다. 위성영상에서 추출된 피해면적과 피해강도별 분석자료는 바이오매스 연소로 인해 직접 배출되는 비이산화탄소 배출량 추정을 위한 활동자료로 활용하였다. 비이산화탄소 배출량 추정을 위해 IPCC의 추정식을 이용하였다. 산불피해강도별 연소효율은 피해강도가 '심'(burn severity: high)인 수관화 지역의 경우 0.43, 피해강도 '중'(burn severity: moderate) 0.40, 그리고 피해강도가 '경'인 지표화지(burn severity: low)의 경우는 0.15를 적용하였다. 바이오매스 연소시 배출되는 비이산화탄소 온실가스별 배출계수는 CO 130, $CH_4$ 9, $NO_x$ 0.7, $N_2O$ 0.11 값을 적용하였다. 삼척 산불피해지의 dNBR에 의한 피해강도 분석 결과, 전체 피해면적은 16,200ha로 나타났으며, 피해강도는 '경(Low: dNBR 152 이하)' 35%, '중(Moderate: dNBR 153-190)' 33%, '심(High: dNBR 191-255)' 32%의 면적분포를 보였다. 임상별 피해면적은 침엽수림 11,506ha(77%), 활엽수림 453ha(3%) 그리고 혼효림에서 2,978ha(20%)의 피해를 입은 것으로 평가되었다. 삼척 산불피해지의 바이오매스 연소로 인해 직접 배출된 비이산화탄소 배출량 추정 결과, CO 93%, CH4 6.4%, $NO_x$ 0.5%, $N_2O$ 0.1%의 순으로 배출량이 많았다. 삼척 산불피해지의 강도별 피해면적은 32%$\sim$35%의 분포로 고른 양상을 보이고 있지만 피해강도 '중' 지역에서 배출된 비이산화탄소의 양이 전체의 47%를 차지하여 배출율이 가장 높은 것으로 나타났다. 삼척산불 피해지의 총 비이산화탄소 온실가스 배출량은 CO 44.100Gg, CH4 3.053Gg, $NO_x$ 0.238Gg 그리고 $N_2O$는 0.038Gg이 배출된 것으로 추정되었다.

LEAN-BURN ENGINE - POTENTIAL ANALYSIS

  • Analysis of the thermodynamic cycle of IC engine from the point of view of economy and emissions was carried out. From this analysis potential capability of engine development was derived. This potential capability is lean-burn engine, fuelled with homogeneous mixture with $\lambda \geq$ 1.4. Several different modes of fuelling were proposed and tested on one-cylinder test engine from the point of view of extending lean operating limit of the engine, emissions and fuel economy. Among them were: fuelling with evaporated preheated gasoline, with gas (LPG evaporated) and with liquid butane. From these modes, fuelling with liquid butane injected to inlet port was selected and finally tested. This novel system of fuelling offered better than standard engine performances and emissions at lean operating limit. These results were validated on full-scale two-cylinder engine.

폐기물 소각로 베드에서의 연소현상 관찰을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Bed Combustion Phenomena in MSW(Municipal Solid Waste) Incinerator)

  • Experimental studies have been performed to observe the basic phenomena of waste bed combustion in MSW incinerator. A reduced scale apparatus was utilized to simulate the combustion behavior in real plant with 1-dimensional transient behavior at the experimental setup, which uses wet cubic wood with ash content as simulated waste. LHV (lower heating value) of solid fuel, fuel particle size and flow rate of combustion air were taken as important parameters of the bed combustion. For the quantitative analysis, FPR (flame propagation rate), TBT (total burn-out time) and PBT (particle burn-out time) was defined. LHV represent the capability of heat release of the fuel, so that a higher LHV results in faster reaction rate of the fuel bed, which is shown by higher FPR. Fuel particle size is related with surface area per unit mass as well as heat and mass transfer coefficient. As the particle size increases the FPR decreases owing to decreasing specific surface area. Air injection supplies oxygen to the reaction zone. However oversupply of combustion air increases convection cooling of the bed and possibly extinguishes the flame.

2차 종합병원 간호사의 업무환경요인과 소진 및 이직의도에 관한 연구 (A Study on Intention to Quit and Job Overload, Role Ambiguity, Burn out among Nurses in General Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study is designed to verify affecting variables to turnover intention of nurses in general hospital. Methods: The data were from the self-reported questionnaire responses of 168 nurses in five general hospitals 300-400 beds in Seoul and Gyungi province and analyzed by frequency and percentage, t-test, ANOVA and Sheffe's test and stepwise multiple regression. Results: The means of turnover intention were $3.14{\pm}0.87$, job overload, $3.54{\pm}0.67$, role ambiguity, $2.87{\pm}0.71$ and burnout, $2.68{\pm}0.72$. A significant correlation was found among turnover intention and job overload (r=.24, p<.001), role ambiguity (r=.30, p<.001), and burn out (r=.58, p<.001). The factors that affect turnover intention from the result of multiple regression by the stepwise selection, were emotional exhaustion, role ambiguity, and diminished personal accomplishment. Conclusion: Based on the results, to reduce turnover intention of nurses, emotional support should be provided and also range of roles be clearly defined. In addition, it is needed to improve the working conditions for nurses to get a sense of accomplishment.

요양병원 간호사의 감정노동, 직무 스트레스 및 전문직 삶의 질 (Emotional Labor, Job Stress and Professional Quality of Life among Nurses in Long-term Care Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to identify the level of emotional labor, job stress and professional quality of life and to identify the factors affecting on professional quality of life among nurses in long-term care hospitals. Methods: 136 nurses working at eight different long-term care hospitals were recruited from May 1 to June 30, 2016. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, and stepwise multiple regression using SPSS/WIN 22.0. Results: Professional quality of life is consisted of three subcategories as compassion satisfaction, secondary traumatic stress and burn-out. As for the factors affecting on compassion satisfaction, age, satisfaction on working ward and shift pattern of duties were significant factors. The three variables' explanation power on compassion satisfaction was 25.0%. As for factors affecting on secondary traumatic stress, emotional labor was a significant factor. The emotional labor's explanation power on secondary traumatic stress was 13.0%. Factors affecting on burn-out, emotional labor, age, and health condition were significant factors. The three variables' explanation power on burnout is 31.0%. Conclusion: On the basis of results, program development are required to relieve emotional labor and job stress for nurses at long-term care hospitals and to improve their professional quality of life.

압전변압기의 압전 및 전기적 특성 (Electrical and Piezoelectric Characteristics of Piezoelectric transformer)

  • 압전 세라믹은 공정 조건에 따라 압전 및 전기적 특성이 큰 영향을 받는다. 최적의 조건을 갖는 압전변압기를 제조하기 위해서는 이런 공정의 변수들의 변화를 관찰할 필요성이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이런 압전 특성을 관찰하고자, 하소의 온도를 $850^{\circ}C$에서 $900^{\circ}C$도까지 시간변화에 따라 phase 변화를 XRD로 관찰하고 burn out의 온도에 따른 기공변화 및 소결의 온도변화에 따른 임피던스 어낼라이저로 주파수 특성을 관찰하였다. 이렇게 조사해본 결과 하소를 $900^{\circ}C$에서 3시간 burn out을 $500^{\circ}C$에서 2시간, 소결을 $1250^{\circ}C$에서 2 시간 한 경우가 $Q_m>1000$, $k_p>0.40$ 값을 얻을 수 있었다.
